The fire alarm was going off for at least ten minutes. We finished our shopping and then were told to leave the cart and leave the store. They honestly could of handled the situation much more efficiently and used an overhead page to evacuate the store
Ehh lately I'm u happy with the feel of my local Walmart the employees don't seem like they are friendly anymore they are always just looking to get out of work it feels like
Honestly, I have never had a negative experience at this Walmart location. I generally shop in the morning before the store gets crowded, but any staff I've come in contact with has been friendly and helpful. I pretty much find any items I'm looking for. Bathrooms and store are always clean. I would recommend shopping at this store, especially since parking lot has been fixed! (which was an issue that has been fixed)
Whatever you do, don’t buy the membership for Walmart so that you can get deliveries cause you’ll never get them and they will always be delayed in the chat support does nothing but lie and tell you they’re out for delivery when they aren’t. Do not waste the money On a Walmart membership to be treated badly.
brough my perfectly fine car in for tires. 12:00 appointment. guy drove it in the shop, did the tires and an hour later drove the car out. I sat there for at least 15 minutes then asked what was going on since my car was done. They said theres a problem. The car wouldn't get out of park.I told them there was no problem when he drove it in and out, what the HELL did he do to it. I had to have a tow truck tow it to my mechanic. What should have been a 1 hour visit to the store turned into 4 hours. Meanwhile, while I was sitting there waiting, 2 other people came in complaining about previous work walmart had done to their cars. This just happened to me today so I don't know how much it's going to cost to get my car fixed. May I add that they took me in the back office to fill out a claim form. If they had nothing to do with what happened then why be in such a hurry to file a claim with corporate.
I shop here a lot. I can usually find what I'm looking for. The employees I've had contact with are always helpful and kind. Prices are slightly better but I find the quality of the meat and dairy sometimes is lacking. The bathrooms are sometimes in need of a little cleaning,(example toilet paper or towels on the floor) but, that's a rare occurance that I've run into, personally.
Absolutely horrible store if you are a spark shopper. They have a kidager (kid in management position) who seems to have let his position go to his head. I for a few days was bringing my brother with me on my spark trips to train him how to do the job because he wanted to get into doing spark. Well this "manager" was having a fit because we were accepting 3 orders at one time after me and my brother were both told that as long as we have a divider in the back seat it would be fine to take all 3 orders. We were told this by spark. After not wanting to deal with this "manager" I decided to start dropping my brother off in town so that I could do my orders without the hassle. I accepted 3 orders and as I was waiting I had an order removed. At first I thought it was because a customer canceled. Upon asking the person loaded up my vehicle, I was told that the "manager" I believe his name is Brandon, removed one of the orders. Upon asking why they told me that they saw my brother in the store and refused to give me all 3 orders as a result. I had dropped my brother at another store in town. What my brother does in his spare time Is non of my concern. After the 1 order was removed I told the woman who was about to load the order to go ahead and cancel the rest of it as I dont think it's fair they are refusing to give me the whole order if I'm the only one in the car! After canceling it I went and called spark. During this time I had gotten another order. I accepted it. The "manager" came out and asked me "what seems to be the problem?" I told him what the issue was. And he tried to say that because they saw my brother in walmart they were refusing to give me all 3 orders! And I told him I thought it was a bit creepy that he was watching my brother! Turns out that he went to the customer service desk because he had questions about spark and how it works and what there policies were. The "manager" quite literally admitted to stalking my brother! He even threated to have me fired, fined and possibly even arrested as a result of trying to reason with this "manager". And told me that he had employees WATCHING HIM! I went home and told my family about this and they arent too happy about the situation. And I'm not the only spark driver that has an issue with him! The "manager", Brandon, ( blonde haired guy with the glasses) is the reason why a lot of spark drivers have stopped going there for pick up. They are tired of how they are all being treated over there and there is no reason for it! Please if you have children and you're doing spark, please keep a close eye on your babbies! I would like a phone call from corporate office if possible so that my brother can give his statement! A call anytime after 5 would be great if possible! Thanks!

Always moving things. Hard to find things. Several items they were out of. I looked on line and it says they have the items but they didnt.

Walmart was the same as always. Store had most everything I needed. People still cant figure out that they arent supposed to hold their family reunions in the aisles
My visit was fine. I didnt buy anything as I was looking for something very specific that was out of stock (most stores are out of stock). It was completely understandable that they were out of this product.

Who doesnt like Walmart
This store has everything you need or almost. If they dont have it, you can order online and pick it up. Very good selection, maybe the vegetables and fruits are a little expensive for a rural location and always not fresh: blotches apples, old cucumbers, old lettuce. The staff is kind and helpful. Many items are out of stock, more and more. The store is pushing on lower quality products (artificial flowers and full chemical) reducing the availability of better products. The staff is always kind, though, and very helpful.

No one answered the phone , not even the operator . After 20 minutes on phone and no answer I took the chance and drove there . Costumer service woman sat there and starred at me and said nothing when I asked her if thier phones worked . So when ypu call no answers and when you go no answers

We shop here often, and get our prescriptions here. The pharmacy team is very good, efficient and friendly. The rest of the store is well stocked and the employees are very helpful. However, if you dont do something with the very poor condition of your parking lot, I will stop shopping there. It is treacherous. You just had a reno, the parking lot should have been part of it.

I was astounded by the clean shiny floor, packed and perfectly faced shelves(especially in the boardgame toy section) and amount of workers throughout the store and at the registers at 9:40 at night. Prepared food options kind of sad and the most( and largest) potholes Ive ever seen in a parking lot for even a defunct plaza. Literally the most shockingly bad and inexcusable state of a parking lot for any store, nevermind a Walmart. Corporate needs to know how in disrepair it is.
I am very happy with Walmart at Cobleskill!
Drove so many small businesses out of schoharie. Cut out many jobs with self checkout. Provides sub quality items made in China. Items you buy from there are made so cheaply. In the end this kind of business is bad for us. All there chicken breast seem to be within 3 to 4 days from expiration Now we are limited with places that provide usa made items that are quality made.

Tripped in the parking lot in a deep pothole .. one supervisor said are you ok everyone else just watched .. it s been years with multiple deep potholes .

Very annoyed that I am searching for higher priced yet smaller portioned items.
The actual store itself performs as expected and is kept fairly clean. The real issue is that caution needs to be had when in the parking lot. The entire shopping center parking lot is very poorly maintained. The manager should be ashamed of themselves and held accountable for allowing it to be in a state of consistent disrepair.
So walmart, theyve got most of what you need nearly any hour of the day.

They charge 50% more than they should for food, yet they are too cheap to put it in a bag. They dont even give you a bag to put your groceries in.. Are you supposed to take the cart home with you? I wont be back.
Walmart is Walmart
It was very clean very shiny but several of the things in the store I was looking for werent there it seemed like they were either rearranging or possibly preparing to close. When I say clothes I mean close down the store. And of course the prices were normal Walmart prices and you managed to get out of the store pretty quickly there werent long lines and the store didnt seem to be that crowded.

Every time I go to this location and try to get fishing lures or bullets it takes 30-40 minutes to track someone down with keys. Tonight I went there to get a couple lures I had lost they moved them which whatever, doesn t matter. But they no longer have guns or ammo. Asked 4 people to call someone with keys waited a hour finally left. If your gonna lock stuff up have someone there to unlock it all the time. No other store has stuff locked up.
Best grocery store for me right now. From food and drink to fishing gear. The prices are acceptable and the traders are extremely kind and patient.

Going downhill. Good help is hard to find, I guess. Went to buy a $30 item on sale for $25 online (with pickup next day), had to get a mgr to approve their own price match for same day purchase!! Thankfully mgr approved so we got 3 of them.OK. Update: still the same after another year...
Went today waited 30 mintues to get something that was locked up while like 20 walmart workers walked by and looked at me and didnt ask if i needed help so i finally left

This was the first time I was in this Walmart , it was fully stocked with everything the staff was very friendly and helpful, I will shop this Walmart again.

Update to my previous review. Extremely disappointed with the direction this department store has taken. As of today, the place is still a disaster. The parking lot is under a state of disrepair. The pot holes are deep and dangerous for any small vehicles. The inside of the store is under construction and the lay out of the store changes weekly. The aisles are not labeled clearly and it is difficult to find items even while using the Walmart app to locate a product.
One of the dumpiest Walmarts out there. The staff are so incompetent and rude. Any time you ask them for help (especially at the electronic center) its attitude and huffing and puffing. The customer service centers staff, particularly a girl by the name of Lisa, are pretty rude as well. I asked to return a cellphone and she was so condescending and robotic. I try and avoid this place at all costs unless I really am looking for something that the other stores in the area dont have..

They are redoing the store, moving everything to different places, took me twice as long to shop today to find what I needed to get, and I have a problem walking at present, not fun.
I have never met a more clueless staff. I realize they are remodeling, but people should be able to at least point you in the right direction. No one seems happy to be there. The bathroom was gross. The produce is a joke. Im sorry, but walmart has not figured out the grocery game yet.

I think this WalMart discriminates against diabetics. They never have diabetic cookies or other backed good for diabetics when I go there. Sure, they have a limited supply of candies, and if you have too many, you will spend the day in the laboratory. And that is it. It is as if they do not care about us or our wellbeing. I would like to see old-fashioned donuts from their backery. Suger free cookies. And some cakes. We are the same as non diebetics, but we dont matter. Other than that, they are a good store.

OMG, one cashier. ONE cashier for the hole store while five other employees stand around trying not to do anything. The other option is to self checkout. My problem with self checkout is that Im not getting paid to be a cashier or to stand around trying to do nothing. Make sure you have lots of time to either stand in line or work as a cashier without getting paid for it.

Rearranging the store and utter chaos
Very rude staff , people at the self check out always tryna acuse people of stealing and instead of being nice when they confront they get totally rude .. for all that put all the people that are standing around at checkout they need to be at registers so everything. Could be checkout out proper the mangers there are racist im Hispanic and I don t even speak and out of no where the manager thought he was mocking me by speaking Spanish , i don t know where I m the Walmart orientation that was taught but to be such a neighborhood store I had the worst experience shopping there .. everything is over priced with a tax attached to it and Walmart is making so much money they can t even put a tap and pay machine at the register .. horrible place reading all these bad reviews someone should step in instead of letting this bad etiquette place keep treating us like scum and taking our money
Found what I needed besides the construction it was a good visit ...
Walmart is a very busy location in cobleskill, as it is one of two actual stores rather than a gas station or a small store like dollar general or dollar tree. Great place for getting your groceries (as most of us know) and the workers in cobleskill are usually super friendly, if not just nice people. Although I do believe the corporation itself is not great, this store itself is pretty good. The fact that they rearranged has made it more difficult to find things, so I will give it a 4/5 stars since it makes running into other people and hearing everyone complain about how things were moved around a lot more prevalent.

Just redone the Floors, Self Serve Registers, You van Buy Anything Here From Food to Make-up, to Tires for Your Car And Anything in-between. Plus Pick Up Your Prescriptions, and Order and Jewelry You Like. Some of the Employees Are Nice and Helpful, and Others are Just There for a Paycheck. You Will be able to tell the difference. Walmart Is Having a Grand Reopening on The 22nd of September 2023 !! The WHOLE STORE HAS BEEN REDONE, AND EVERYTHING HAS BEEN MOVED !! GOOD LUCK FINDING STUFF !! EVEN THE GROCERY ISLES HAVE BEEN MOVED. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN EXTRA HR TO LOOK FOR WHAT YOU NEED HOWEVER THE STORE DOES LOOK NICE !! IT LOOKS JUST LIKE THE ONE IN ONEONTA NOW JUST FLIPPED ON THE OTHER SIDE !! JS

Visited the Cobleskill Walmart and found everything for my immediate needs. I wasnt checked at the door like a criminal. So, a decent quick positive shopping experience! Its one of my favorite walmarts, kicked back and going with the flow!
I feel I m being priced out of Walmart since the new layout! Everything is overpriced more than usual. Why do we have to pay for the new layout ???? What was wrong with the old? Not my go to store anymore for anything!
A big F brought my car in at 9am for tire appointment and a 10am appointment oil change they said tires not there wait till 10 for your oil change come back at 4 for tires. Got my tires done went to leave low tire pressure they had to put more air in tires. Went to drive away clunk clunk went back they said sorry when you put the car on a lift you get air in the power steering I forgot to turn the wheels left and right to get the air out (never heard of that before) they took it out all set. Went to leave again clunk clunk brought it back again they rebalance them again your all set. Went to leave clunk clunk had to get it towed away. I WILL NEVER BRING MY CAR THERE AGAIN DONT DO IT YOU WILL REGREAT IT
Ive gone to several several several and probably many of Walmarts this Walmart is exclusive its first class very clean people willing to help you navigate you around the place love the new displays love the new setup of the store and well be back again
They now have self checkout which speeds things up but still issues with scanning produce.
I get pick up orders, I no longer go into the store, got covid again. I guess it is too difficult for sick infected people to stay home and quarantine themselves.

Very unhappy with the reconfigured floor plan. The store lay-out makes no sense. I also happened to hear alot of other shoppers voicing their displeasure With the lay-out.
