Ed Comtois Auto Sales in Cohoes

I have been going to Comtois for over twenty years. The family is wonderful. I have bought four cars from them. Always a fair price. Dale is the only one I will let service my car. He is a magician with cars. He always explains what is wrong and always shows me the bad parts. I live in Scotia and drive to Cohoes even if it is just for an oil change. I love this place!!

If you're looking to get any work done to your vehicle this is the best shop you could bring it to, it will be done right and affordable every time. I also bought a car here a few years ago, and I never had any issues with it at all, i was young and they taught me all about how to maintain the car, and always took the time to answer any questions I had. This Auto Center is a staple in the community and deserves an award for the best auto center experience you'll ever have!

Family owned and operated. Been my go to for cars, and repairs since 1999. Until now, brought a vehicle in bought from Ed. Alternator replaced, and a flat tire issue. Was told the tire was fine, brought car home. Tire flat hours later. Called to let Kelly know. She suggested a bad rim, or inside the tire issues. I let them know roadside assistance SHOWED me there was a hole the day I dropped off( it needed a plug). Asked me if I was towing it to them, NO! How about a refund for the unfixed tire?? How about bring it to us ASAP, we'll take care of it...

BUYER BEWARE!!! Scam artist!!!! I bought a car from him that I only drove for 20,000 miles before it went down. Mind you I still owe $3000 on a car that don't run. A week after I bought it the check engine light went on and I called and notified comtois and they put it off until the warranty ran out. Then told me they could fix it for a ridiculous price and they wanted to charge almost 200 to diagnose it
