If I could give them a 0 I would but Google doesn t have one. Stay away! They totally mislead of what you think you purchase and what you get. It took forever to get the windows. One came in broken twice, a testament to the great quality. One cracked as they unWrapper it really?! They miss measured and my windows are being held in by spray foam. Of which I was told I was lucky I wasn t charged for because that is extra?! Really?! Take out the foam and my windows would have to magically float to stay in place! I would have never bought from them just look at the pictures. My old leaky windows at least fit and looked much better. Thanks for the response. I know the truth hurts. Shotty work is shotty work. I am sorry you don t stand by your work.

I had Window Depot install 8 new windows in my home in December of 2022. From Start to Finish they were courteous and professional. The install team worked fast and were very clean, When they left it didnt even look like I had any work done! They stand by their warranty as well, recently one of my window screens was accidently damaged when i was having my roof replaced, i contacted them to see what could be done and they fixed it free of charge! I have some more windows on my list to do and will DEFINITELY call Window Depot again. Thank you Window Depot!!

We recently hired Window Depot of Albany to complete an entire home window replacement project. From the start, the entire team was responsive and professional. Gary came out to give us our initial consultation and provided us with a very competitive estimate that included removing our old wooden windows and wrapping the wooden trim on the exterior with aluminum wrap. He gave us a timeline of when we could expect our new replacement windows to come in and he was spot on. The day the windows arrived at their shop, I received a call to schedule installation. Ryan and the installation team are top-notch professionals. Not only were they efficient, but they were extremely clean and neat. The windows themselves are great quality with beautiful glass and strong screens. We are so happy we chose to work with Window Depot!

Window Depot replaced my Bay Window last week and I couldnt be happier. The crew of Ryan, Julio and Nate were professional, knowledgeable and personable. Between the window installation and the trim work inside, the craftmanship was very impressive. The crew went above and beyond what the job called for. They replaced and repaired my soffit and even repaired my storm door, which has been driving us nuts for years. You wont find a better combo of quality, price and crew for any window job you have.

Window Depot replaced our windows many years ago. They are exceptional in every way. Our house still is toasty warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Their screens are under warranty still after all these years. They repaired 3 screens free of charge quickly and professionally. We are very pleased with their service!! This company is top grade, I met with John and Gary the owners. They were very professional and the price was very good. They explained the work that was to be completed and gave an excellent presentation and time line. I ordered a big picture window back in March 2022 and it was installed in summer 2022 from Window Depot USA of Albany. I called 6 different window companies and Window Depot gave me the lowest estimate quote by far. None of the companies could install the window until July at the earliest. I was a little apprehensive because I had never heard of Window Depot, but I am VERY happy that I went with them. The quality of the window far exceeded my expectations. The team that put in the window was professional, friendly, and they cleaned up everything well including washing the window of the sticker residue. I was very pleased with the company and I highly recommend them. I will certainly be using them in the future if I need another window replaced.

Windows are of a good quality. Over the last 2 years, I got 13 windows replaced. The first set were from Joyce Manufacturing and the second set were from ProVia and a better quality. I found the Joyce Manufacturing windows have a bit of an issue with sash size not exactly the size of the window which cause a little of air leakage. The weather stripping on the Joyce Manufactured windows is not as good. Installation team is quick, friendly and professional. The only issue I have is they need to do a better job air sealing and insulating around the new windows. The windows are good quality, but quality and triple pane means nothing if the cold air drafts are going to come in around the new window and out from behind the window trim or window stops.

Its a pleasure working with Window Depot because its simple, not complicated, and worry free. You know what to expect upfront, no surprises, and the installers are respectful and courteous of your home.

We had a bad road rage situation started by a driver from this company driving a work van. My husband managed to take a close photo of the back of the company vehicle at a red light. We are handing all of this info over to the police department. I wouldnt want someone like that fixing our windows.

Crew was exactly on time. Did an excellent job, great communication, very good craftsmanship, precise carpentry, cleaned up so the site was cleaner than when they arrived. I highly recommend them and would continue to use them.

Extremely pleased with windows and pricing.

Spoke with Home Depot and almost went with them but the framing of those replacement windows took up alot of the window space. (I found this out by going to the store and looking at the whole window not the sample corner cut out that I viewed with the salesman at my home) Not with the the Aspect windows by Provia offered through John and the company Home Depot USA (Made in the USA! Yay!) Much smaller frame and excellent quality. Glad I went for 2nd and third opinions. John was professional and to the point. invited me to view the videos about Provia windows. I had 8 windows and a beautiful slider installed (very substantial, not like the big box stores) and their warranty is fantastic. The installers were very friendly and efficient and installed all within half a day. I LOVE these windows... Adds so much value to my home and this is a Great Local Company that couples with a great American company to offer excellent quality at VERY fair pricing! Check out the awesome reviews for both companies...

Where to start? They either ordered the wrong windows and blamed the factory or the factory quality control is terrible and somehow missed that the grids were missing from all the windows we ordered , the top sashes keep falling down letting insects in, they keep promising to show up to fix the issues but they dont, dont call, didnt bring the tools they said they needed to bring to fix the issue when they finally did show up. Just absolute frustration. I wrote the Window Depot CEO so well see if that gets anything done. It shouldnt be like this.

Quality windows and professional service and installation. We replaced 5 windows in our older home and they look great. Less than one day to remove and install. I was very impressed with the work and did a good job cleaning up before leaving. Would recommend them to my anyone looking for replacement windows at a good price.

Great quality work and very professional. Windows were custom made (but affordable!) and replaced very quickly once they were manufactured (9 windows in about 3 hours!) Highly recommend getting your windows from them! Will be coming back for all other replacements in the future

I purchased windows over 10 years ago from window Depot of Albany and had some issues. John arrived at the house and help me determine which windows we needed to repair. Received the sashes and Kyle came to install them and do the repairs. Kyle also rescreened six screens and I only had to pay for the sashes. Also Kyle retrimmed some of the windows that were damaged at little to no cost. Great company and stand behind their warranty! Also Kyle came on a holiday weekend. Im so happy and again that was 10 years ago !!!

I talked to many companies but went with Window Depot USA in Albany, NY. Their triple pane glass, krypton gas and Neat coating made them the best deal. They were very professional. John and his team did a great job and cleaned up every thing. I will definitely go back to them when it is time to do more on my home!

Pricing was more than fair but more importantly the service before and after the sales was exceptional. As my wife calls it they lived up to the grandmothers rule, they did what they said they would when they said they were going to. Sided the house and replace three doors.

I could not be happier with the way my new windows came out. They are gorgeous!! Let me say I had a lot of places come to my house and give me quotes and I decided on Window Depot for many reasons. Gary who came to give the quote and show us the window was so professional and knowledgable and did not pitch me any sales BS (probably because he knows the windows speak for themselves). The window was the nicest I saw and the cheapest of all quotes received. John and his crew came and installed the windows and did a fantastic job and were just very nice people. The work done was quiet and efficient and they cleaned up everything! Only did half the windows of the house this year and can t wait to make the call back to Window Depot next summer to get the other half done!

Replaced our lake house picture window that had lost its seals. While they were there, we decided to replace 4 of the 70 year old double hung windows. It looks like a new house and is so much quieter too. Kyle and Lawrence were the most professional workers we ever had...never took a single break.

I had 3 windows replaced yesterday and could not be more happier with the job. Kyle was the installer and worked directly for window depot, not a contractor. He spent meticulous time not just installing the windows, but sealing them and placing new wrap around the outside of the windows. He was quiet and courteous. The rooms were cleaned with a shop vac after he was done with the install. The whole process was great. Kyle was right on time. If I need any ore windows replaced, I will be calling them.

This was our second go around for replacement windows with Window Depot. (We moved). John and Kyle spent 2 days at my home replacing 23 windows. Including a large window slider and a big picture window. Their close attention to detail, cleaning up behind themselves as they worked, and meticulously ensuring every crack, crevasse, and ugly corner was sealed, and tied up with a neat, wrapped bow. Kyle took a little extra time to window wrap under my picture window, it looked more beautiful then I could have envisioned myself. If you are on the fence about which window company to use, stop looking. Window depot is affordable, the windows are efficient, easy open, easy clean, and worry free.

The pre-sales was the best of the 4 I talked to. No screwing around with high-ball pricing (like Anderson & Comfort) or lies denigrating the competition (Window World). However, post-sale was different. I asked how to remove the screens on 7/10/2019, and to this day (11/25/19) have not been shown, after several promises. Now that cold weather is here, Im feeling some drafting on the windows, and see that the calking is shoddy. I can fix that, but shouldnt need to. I cant say Id recommend Window Depot, but wouldnt recommend the other 3 either. Are there any HONEST contractors out there??? The user name is not my real name. I called John the owner for an estimate on repairing a number of damaged window screens on my house. I had called other places who told me they had appointments available in 3-4 weeks. John not only gave me a better price than anyone else, he was also at my house before the end of the day! I will definitely be calling him back to replace a few older windows!!

I was regretting replacing my windows and siding and listening to long sales pitches. I was pleasantly surprised going to Window Depot. The sales part was actually relaxing and really pleasant. Frank was down to earth and didn t push any product. He explained everything in simple English, SUCH A PLEASANT CHANGE . John was excellent in the installation of my windows along with his son. I was amazed they were all done in a day and cleaned up after themselves. I LOVE my new windows! Top notch from start to finish. John, the owner, does the majority of the install so you know it is getting done right. The crew was on time, neat, efficient, and courteous. We have a baby and a dog and they installed our windows around her schedule. The windows are very high end but cost far less than the competitors. November of 2017 I contracted with Window Depot for 12 replacement windows, two doors and two screen doors. I couldnt be happier. John, the owner did the work, an amazing job, he is not a worker but a craftsman who takes pride in his work. John is professional, ethical and goes above and beyond. The work is top quality he is very meticulous, it is important that the job get done the right way the first time! The contracted price is the price he charges and sticks to no matter how many bumps along the way. We have an old home built in 1891,which meant everything took much longer than anticipated. Doors had to be reframed and not one door was even, he did a phenomenal job.He fitted the windows and doors as if it was his home taking great pride in his work doing an excellent job. If anyone is in need of his service I would highly recommend him. Before hiring John I had receive 3 other estimates no one gave me a firm price it all depended on what was found when doing the work! He is everything you would want in a contractor and more.

I broke the balance shoe on one of the window I had installed by Window Depot, taking the window out to clean it. I called Window Depot of Albany on a Wednesday. I got John the owner, I explained what broke. He said he would get the replacement part and call me back. He called me that Friday and said the part was in, and because the Capitol district was expecting a storm with below 0 weather on Monday, he would come out on that Saturday and replaced the part him self. How is that for service! I would recommend Window Depot of Albany with out hesitation.

Choose Window Depot of Albany and youll have no regrets. After 32 years, replaced our windows throughout the house. With blizzard winds today, not feeling a bit of air through the windows. We met John, the owner, and factory reps at the recent home show in Albany. We were able to see a lot of options in one place and were very impressed with the windows from Window Depot. A few others may match the specs for the triple pane windows but at a much higher price. John obviously takes pride in his work and has a lifetime of experience. He did an excellent job with the installation and did a lot of little fixes and expert trim finishes to make everything right!
