Unfortunately I have had to patronize this business more than 5 times over a number of years. I was worried that when H&V sold to a national company that things would be worse, but gladly not. The staff is friendly and delays are promptly explained. The work has been flawless. One of the best things about this location is that Enterprise rent a car is next door and also bills our insurance. Very convenient. Hope I don t need them again but glad they are there.

The entire process from estimate to the completion of the work was seamless. The workmanship was high quality and performed quickly. Their carwise app kept me informed on my repairs, but Allen took it a step further and made sure to reach out to make sure I was informed and understood the next step. This place blew my mind! With their speed (turn-around time,) quality, and their friendly and genuine approach (Thanks to Alan!) it was no nonsense from the get-go. I tend to be leery of a body shop my insurance recommends so I looked them up on Yelp and Google and saw the why my insurance recommended them. Alan got my beloved Subaru into the shop and me into my rental (right next door!!) the very next day and the repairs were done in about 24 hours. Not only does the work look great, they cleaned the whole car for me & it hasn t looked this good in a long time. Like I said, mind blown!! They did an excellent job repairing my car after I hit a deer. The work was completed on time, I was kept informed throughout the process, the estimate was clearly explained, and the car looks good as new.

This is one of the worst establishments. You close at 5:30 according to your website and on your door. Yet I have been calling since 5pm and no response . If you cannot do business shut down and close your doors. Completely unacceptable customer service. Update your closing times if this is level of unprofessionalism you demonstrate to your customers.

Posting for my girlfriend. Eric and the receptionist were both great in terms of communication. However the manager acted as though I had no idea what I was talking about because I m female and I had to bring my car back to fix things that weren t done properly. Even when I picked it up, the warning messages that popped up on my dash were ignored by the manager who appeared to want to prove me wrong. I wouldn t recommend this place of business if they treat their female customers this way.

This collision center is by far the most trustworthy, respectable and efficient in Albany NY. The kind ladies at the front desk are very personable and helpful. Started body work on my totalled car after it was towed to the shop after an accident and couldnt be driven because of said accident. My car was never mechanically checked so allstate had to redo my estimate and total my car... all together took me over a month just to get the correct estimate since caliber was unable to provide a proper one. And to top it off the body work they did on my car was all just a huge amount of bondo all over my driver side not a single thing was replaced. (Driver door crash bar was broken so needed to be replaced)

I am very pleased with the work that was done on my vehicle, and grateful for the attention and communication given throughout the repair process.

Auto body repair- great service, communication, eye for detail.

If I could give a place zero stars, this would be it. Even going into the negative on stars would be insufficient. Avoid this place like the plague, especially if youre a woman. Daryl the manager wanted to know why my husband wasnt calling about MY car. They held said car with parts in stock for at least 2 weeks. They then gave us 4 different pickup dates for the car; after the 4th, when my husband complained, they changed it to an indefinite timeframe because I was so upset. Needless to say, its 2023 and not 1953, and Im the spouse who knows more about cars (I truly wish Daryl could see the shift pattern tattooed on my right forearm). We had to contact our insurance agent, who apparently knows the right folks at the district level, because mysteriously, a day after Caliber hearing from Sal, my car was ready. The bland non-apology the district manager gave my husband was laughable. Said husband still does not accept this apology. Never be afraid to call your insurance, especially if its one of their preferred places- I hope Caliber loses this status from my insurance carrier permanently. If you care for your vehicle at all, do NOT let Caliber take it hostage- whatever you do, dont sign anything allowing them to move your car off-site. I went 25 days without my car, and had to turn down job interviews due to lacking reliable transportation. All Caliber gave me was migraines and lost opportunities. Letting them touch your car (or demean your female relatives) is not worth it. Ever.

Just find someplace else that s all I ll say. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Vehicle was towed to Caliber after an accident for damage assessment. Allen the adjuster contacted me with detailed findings and information and sent the results to the insurance company soon after it was dropped off. Allen was great to work with and would highly recommend Caliber Collision.

Caliber repaired my car in November. They did a very good job. I came back in July to charge my AC in the car. They had no complaints to check my AC and to try refilling. Friendliness of the Caliber team is a top. Id repair my car here again.

Jenna in their office is such a sweet, wonderful person. I had a problem with rudeness at one of Calibers other locations but when I called this location Jenna was very nice and professional and understanding. She fit me in like the next day. When I took my car in to have the bumper replaced Eric was my service guy and he went over everything with me in detail of what was needing to be done and he told me it would take roughly a week and a half. I dropped it off on a Thursday and had it back that next Monday. Not only was it done before expected it came out fantastic. Eric is the G.O.A.T

Terrible shop run for your life

Best service I have ever had.

Ultimately they could not help me, they do not work on BEVs. Eric was very forthcoming and up front. I only wish that the person doing the appointment scheduling would have told me that.

This place is absolutely horrible. No sense of professionalism or communication at all. I was in a car accident on November 10 2023. I had my vehicle towed there the next day. These people at this store presented as if they were going to handle everything and only called me when necessary. I then called a month after as my car has been at their shop, the entirety of the time. Just to find out my car has been sitting there the whole month; was not worked on wasn t even touched the woman on the phone who is extremely rude, proceeded to tell me they didn t even touch my car because they had no information. It s clear there s lack of communication, lack of professionalism and lack of brain cells. There was no attempt to find the owner of the car. Mind you my car was towed there through my insurance so there s no way they dropped the car off there and gave you no information. There was no attempt to reach out, and if I had not called to inquire about my vehicle, it will probably still have been sitting there, not being worked on. If you want results, do your self a favor, and just go to coles collision, because caliber collision must be ran by brain dead imbeciles. If I could give this place, zero stars, I would.

They kept me informed every step on the way to completion. Alan was considerate and fully explained everything that was going to be done before and re-explained what had been done upon pickup. Not only was my car repaired but it was returned to me cleaned inside and out which showed me how much they cared. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this Caliber Collision.

My car was bought in back in October for repair. It s been almost three months and my vehicle is still not properly repaired. I d like to think they aren t being malicious or shady but to bring my vehicle back a third time to repair an issue that should have been addressed the first time is ridiculous. It appears they are just milking my insurance for money and aren t upholding their policy. Update: Was told they would take my car in on the 19th to look for damage they might have missed during there initial inspection and I would be given a rental car. That morning I was told they needed to reschedule and would get me in later in the week. It s been over a week and I haven t gotten a single call or text from anyone at that shop. I am thoroughly peeved at how inconsistent and unprofessional the service is. The fact that these issues persist jeopardize the overall health and longevity of my engine and vehicle- I strongly encourage people to find another place.

Horrible 4 months for repair several parts flapping in the breeze on the ride home they extorted almost five hundred dollars extra for an estimate for work they said they couldn t do. Just a terrible bunch of shysters.

I was very happy and pleased with the service of Caliber Collision to repair the damage on the back end of my Honda Accord. One of my passions is taking good care of my vehicles and making them last forever (or at least over 200.000 miles!). Partially wrecking my vehicle was a distressing experience, but Caliber Collision made it more bearable. For one thing, I ended up getting a loaner that was a Nissan Rogue, if memory serves me correctly. This loaner from Enterprise next door, which is their business partner was far more cooler and advanced than my Honda Accord from 2018. Lets just say it was a nice consolation prize to not being able to drive my Honda Accord for a while! On a side note, they took the liberty and courtesy of actually detailing the inside of my Honda Accord for free. This is normally a service that costs me $200.00 and I have to drive all the way into Poughkeepsie, NY to get it serviced by the person who I am used to doing business with considering that it only is detailed once every 20.000 miles to get that new car smell back! Between the loaner vehicle that allowed a halt on the wear/tear of my own car and the complimentary detailing service, the $500.00 deductible kind of paid for itself thanks to Caliber Collision! They were only supposed to repair the damage and added the bonus of making the inside of the car look brand new, which I certainly was not expecting! The other thing that I appreciated about Caliber Collision is that I am on the mildest end of the autism spectrum and they treated me as an equal. I cannot and will not be able to tolerate discourteous customer service anywhere because it brings back memories of having been bullied for much of my childhood. Major triggers for me are snide, condescending statements such as you are not listening to me! I kind of look at auto body shops in the same way as funeral homes in the sense that they have to be kind to make an unpleasant experience a little more bearable. Allen Tomback gingerly and appropriately followed up with me about things pertaining to my experience. There is always a great deal of things going on in my life including a second job that has taken a lot out of me. His patience was much appreciated when I failed to respond in a timely manner. From the front door greeting (receptionist was kind and knowledgeable) to the final key handoff, Caliber in Colonie was amazing. They sent text updates on the status, a link to follow the process myself. I was told it could take up to 3 weeks, which I thought was a bit long, but then the next day I received a message saying it would be ready that next week, it was eventually done a day ahead of schedule. They re so efficient. They drove me home the day I dropped off my car, the woman was so personable. They even took time to talk me through and make sure I was 100% satisfied with my vehicle, I was new to the process so I had questions. They even brought a supervisor to verify information shared. It was an AMAZING experience. At the end of it all, my car was cleaned and shining like she was brand new! Thank you Caliber.

Not only did they get my car out of the shop exactly when estimated (pretty quick considering the state of it), but were able to get me an appointment sooner than anyone else in the area. They communicated all important information in a timely and clear manner, were very hands on in helping to work out any kinks with my insurance and, were all around very pleasant people that I was happy to interact with, especially professionally. They even towed my car early so I wouldnt get ticketed! Genuinely made over $6k of damage on an older car a nearly painless process to repair. Not to mention-- the paint job is great :)

Then Wednesday came and was told the manager has a emergency. They do not care about their customers and I would never work with them again.
