After a no fault collision on the freeway, our car sat at Coles for 4 months while Arch insurance gave us the runaround. Since we didnt know how to navigate this situation Coles advised us at every step, helping us end the negotiations with this awful insurance company. In the end, Coles waived all of our lot fees and only charged for towing, and since our insurance payout included lot fees we ended up with an extra $6000.... We cant thank this team enough. They really saved us in a stressful and messy situation and made sure we came out on top. Side note: if you ever get hit buy a driver insured by Arch, save yourself the trouble and lawyer up right away because they WILL try to scam you and drag everything out as long as possible

CONSUMER BEWARE!!!!!! If I could give these crooks zero stars I would! They had our car over 6 months for minor front end collision damage! A week after Range Rover serviced the car for engine repair (belt broke) had it running top notch! I leave my car with them for body damage 6 months later they call and say the car is done we grab the car engine light is on long story short they messed up a sensor and WOULD NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT! Had the nerve to tell us it was going! Well false I have an EMAIL from RANGE ROVER IN ALBANY STATING THAT WHEN THEY FIXED THE BELT IF THE SENSOR WAS GOING IT WOULD Have SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SERVICED IT! Went back and forth with these ppl even the GM! They wouldn t pay $1000 dollars to fix something they did after they greased the insurance company for over $20,000 dollars yes you are reading it right! 20,000 for minor front end damage! They billed two headlights that were cracked for over $5,000 each! Knowing they paid no more than 1,000 dollars for them they replaced the radiator and a few brackets did a shitty paint job and billed the insurance over 20,000 not including 6 months in a rental! They are straight crooks! I REPORTED THEM ALONG WILL ALL THE TRUTHFUL DOCUMENTATION TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU! They have more reports than just me! Imagine them milking the insurance company for that much money and messing up a sensor and lying about it! Go somewhere else they CANNOT BE TRUSTED FOR OVER 20,000 my rims should have been painted 24karat gold! Dirty work@ Cole s collision!

Coles is the best repair shop Ive ever used over the last 48 years. Rickey, Odell, and Sam went out of thier way in getting my vehicle repaired. They each are bar none. Each are, professional, respectful, and thorough to say the least. The have great customer service and thier quality of work is exceptional. After some low life keyed my Mercedes I shopped around to a few different body shops. Coles has the best reviews so I took it there for an estimate and honestly I see why. They really are amazing. The process was so easy. I really had no issues with getting a hold of anyone, the time table was accurate, and finally the end result was amazing. My car looks like it did when I got it out of the showroom. Outstanding work. Ricky really knows how to take care of his customers and I definitely recommend the shop. I have another vehicle with some minor damage I m going to bring to him for an estimate soon. Definitely have a new customer!

Came for an estimate on body work. Staff was friendly and professional. Chris explained what he was looking at, what he saw, and explained how the work would be done. He informed me about the length of time to complete work and any potential delays.

I was very pleased with their service the first time I brought my car in to replace my front bumper after a low speed, head-on collision. I returned recently to have them verify that no structural damage had been caused by a car that apparently hit mine while parked. While I was there, they offered to touch up the paint at a later date, free of charge. I come for my scheduled appointment. Im told I have to reschedule due to weather. Okay, fine. Wouldve been nice if you called me before I drove over, but okay. I rescheduled to later this week. And what do I get today? A text message that says my appointment is cancelled. A text message? No phone call? Are you seriously kidding me right now? My dudes, I do not have the time or energy for this. Im done. A scratch on my bumper is not a big deal, thankfully. Ill clean it up on my own, and Im going elsewhere if I need this kind of work done again.

Work was done well. Staff helpful and polite. Extra bonus is that they detail the inside of your car, however, they take everything out of the car to detail it, including a brand new clothing purchase, a beach chair, an umbrella, a snow removal tool, you get the picture. And it all just vanished, no lost and found, no spot they park it at while cleaning, just gone. So be forewarned, don t leave anything in your car if you want to see it again.

I would intentionally dent my car just to experience this exceptional level of customer service again. Great job Colonie clan! Very Highly recommend.

I just wanted to share that I dropped by Coles after realizing that my Yukon had a dent in the hood that I didnt know how it happened. I was looking for an estimate any Ricky DePiero greeted me at the door and looked at the car in less than a minute. He told me I would be better off having a dent repair company fix the problem and then bring it back to him for touch up. He said a body job would have been over $2k and the solution he provided was less than $200. Its hard to find good honest people these days, I can tell you that I will recommend him to everyone I know and also let you know he didnt charge a dime for the touch up. Coles Collision is the best best imho!!! They have an awesome customer service staff, they do a great job, and keep you up to date EVERY STEP OF THE WAY! They coordinate everything with your insurance company, and even car rental if thats what you need. What a Great Experience ! I have a Range Rover and the parts were very hard to get since the parts came from the UK. Brendan and Joe communicated with me every step of the way in regards to the status of my vehicle. They actually got the vehicle back to me sooner than expected. Coles Collison, Albany NY, Had a great experience with them. Had some anxiety with the time-frame that it took but, it was well worth it. Front and rear bumper replacement with extensive damage could not have been done better! All of the lines were perfect. You would never know it had been hit. Im a smoker and it was detailed so well you could never tell. The staff was very courtes and professional. If I have another problem like this ,they are my go too people.

Warning! Go anywhere else. Go here for the quote because they are the most expensive and then use a local shop. I brought my 2018 Honda civic sport here, they had the car for over a month and it came back with more issues then when I dropped it off. I believe based on the damage the car was dropped from the lift. My father who is a mechanic in central NY, looked under this car before I dropped it off and now after. The damage underneath is new. Scratches all on my interior trim for the doors they were replacing. Also missing trim for that door. Terrible place to go.

I hit a deer with my Tesla requiring front end work, replacement of the windshield and some work on both front doors. 6 weeks and $17k later I got my car back. We were very pleased with the repairs done. There were some gaps that appeared larger than they should, however, as any Tesla owner can attest, cars roll right off the assembly line with questionable gaps. So, the only gaps I can attribute to Coles is that the hood was depressed well below the front end contour. But, it took me all of 60 seconds to adjust the hood leveling bumpers inside the hood. Overall, I think the car came back a little better than it was one I first took delivery! I would give 5 stars if not for the customer service and communication. At first, there was a week s delay because I was not sent a form to sign which I was told was needed before work could start. Status calls to me were a bit erratic. I was never given an estimated date for completion. Carwise is utilized by Cole s but was never update except for the repair cost. In my opinion, I think that anyone with a Tesla needing repair can feel confident with leaving your car with Cole s.

The damages from the accident were far more than expected. I had an upcoming trip that I needed my car for and they were able to get the repairs done more than a week before the expected completion date for me. After I picked up the vehicle, there was a noise coming from the area where the accident was. They got me in immediately to look at it. While it ended up being a mechanical issue they were unable to resolve, their immediate response and assistance in diagnosis made it far easier for me to have the Tesla service center fix the problem. I was thrilled with their responsiveness and work product. While I hope to never need their services again, if do need body work, or have friends who do, Coles will be my first choice.

I broke my cars handle, and I went to other shops and was told it would be more than $100 to get it fixed. I came to Cole s collision and asked them if they could fix it. I talked to Rick, and he told me I should buy the broken part, and he could do it for free. It saved me so much money and time. If something else happens to my car, I will come back again.

Shawty work.I told them to order all the parts ahead of time so they could change my four hour bumper job in one day Instead they had it for eight days. Then they didnt bolt the inner fenders back to the bumper and now they are wearing against my tires. The girl behind the counter was very nice.but there work sucks.

The repair was near perfect but took about twice longer that estimated.

My wife works in Albany but we live in Rochester. She needed a quick fix on her license plate so she could get back home. Coles took the time, on the spot, to fix the plate so she could make it back to Rochester. Thank you very much in helping out our family. From one Collision Shop to another.

BEWARE: HORRIBLE REPAIR SHOP!! DO NOT USE COLES IN COLONIE! We had a customer take their Range Rover here to get repaired after hitting a deer. He got his vehicle back with two different colored side view mirrors (BLACK AND LIGHT GREY), Loose door handle, Engine light still on, Windshield wipers not hooked back up, Drivers side front tire still had a deer antler in it and had to be replaced, Drivers side door doesnt close unless its body checked. All of this was on the side of the damage that the deer caused. This vehicle never should have left that shop in this condition. After these things were brought to the shops attention, the shop then mailed replacement parts to the customer to instal himself. Poor attention to detail, poor work. If there was an option for ZERO stars I would choose it!

I took my 2020 Tesla Model 3 to get repaired. The repairs were done in a timely manner and done perfectly. The car looks better than factory. The communication with my service advisor was the absolute best. I hope I never have to get another car repaired but if I do, Cole s Collision it will be.

Cole s collision was very helpful in my process to get my car ready, in a text survey I mistakenly wrote a bad review thinking it was the insurance company. I meant to state that through the process of getting my car fixed the insurance company made the process very hard however Cole s was very professional and I thank Joe for communicating with me.

Quality work on our Tesla, friendly helpful staff

No work was done on my Pilot for first week it was in shop, but I was allowed to bring my car home for use over the weekend. Then, when I picked up car with repairs completed, it looked good but I discovered it rattled because inside panels were not properly secured. I brought car back after calling and such was fixed in 20 minutes while I waited. This is the 4th time I ve used Cole s and although there were delays and mistakes, all were corrected and I trust their work.

When some one backed into our Tesla. We came here because they are Tesla certified. I can say I have never been to a car repair shop as good as here. Very professional, workmanship is phenomenal! They even called a month after the repairs to make sure everything is good with the car.

Many businesses will tout customer service, but you won t know if they mean it until you have an issue. I can say that this location does in fact pride themselves in service, as Jeff the manager made special arrangements to have my vehicle interior repaired, as well as coordinating movement of the vehicle to and from my detailers shop. As a customer who isn t local, it was great to feel taken care of each step of the way. The minor issues I had to begin with were all resolved. Things happen, and I m giving 5 stars because management took it very seriously when I had concerns, going out of their way to resolve them. Recommend this location for any Tesla owners in the area

I went to Cole s back in early April for a repair estimate and ultimately didn t use them this time around but the gentlemen I dealt with was very upfront and honest about repair wait times. The damage to my 2018 BMW 330i wasn t too significant but the manager offered to go above and beyond. I only chose another shop for the repairs based on the estimated wait time. I have used this business once before about five years ago for repairs to a previous vehicle I owned, a 2015 Scion FRS and it came out looking brand new again. I trust Cole s to do a great job and will be back if I ever need them again. Hoping I won t need them though! Wish I had some before pics of the FRS but this is how it looked right after.

The best! Great customer service, they keep you in the loop during the repair process. Fast work, and they work with aluminum cars (Tesla Model S and X, for instance) which is difficult work. Paint shop is amazing, I cant tell where their paint ends and the original paint begins. I tried under various lighting conditions and I just cant tell. Its amazing work. Just a great experience all around. Id give them 10 out of 10.

Went to see Ricky on Central Avenue. We have one estimate for 3000 for our Tesla 2021. It appeared that the car had been hit in parking lot. Ricky explained it was road tar and he removed it for free!! Then that same day we were scratched over at Stuyvescent Plaza. Again Ricky took the scratch for free!!! I was Impressed by their honesty and helpfulness!!! Thank you!!

Just trying to get a 2nd opinion and estimate on my car, they said they can t look at my car w/o an appointment and the next available appointment would be a month away while other body shops come right on out and give u an estimate in less than 30 minutes, so I guess if u want a shop that s gonna take forever to get ur car back I d go with these guys

Very poor workmanship. Scratches and dust in the paint. When mentioned to the manger I was told to get out in a very threatening way. I would never recommend this shop. It is almost too dangerous to go there. Dirty parts were in the seat of a brand new car unprotected.

In August, my Model Y was crushed by a tree in my driveway. There was extensive damage to the frame, roof glass, windshield, headlights, and several side panels. Coles kept me updated every step of the way and the car came back looking brand new. The inside was free of glass shards and had been fully detailed. You would also never know that there had been any damage or re-painting. 10/10!

Jeff and the entire team at Cole s were nothing short of phenomenal. Constant updates on the status of my truck and Jeff explained the repairs in as much detail as I wanted. I was always treated as a priority and my repair was handled with urgency. I got my truck back in better shape than before the incident. My car spent 4 months here, which was not the center s fault due to back ordered items. However, when I picked up the car the person who pulled it around front cut himself on glass when he turned the heat on because it was not cleaned properly. Glad I didn t get in first. They also left the interior very dirty and did not finish cleaning my car. I doubt they would ve left a $150k Range Rover in this condition. Body work and repairs were done well. Customer service and interior of the car upon pick up, pretty sub par.

Superlative service! I cannot recommend this business highly enough---they went above and beyond for us, and were incredibly friendly and professional. We had our car scratched in a half dozen places by a local auto place in Rhinebeck during our process of having the car smogged for the state of New York. That establishment denied responsibility and we were left with a badly scratched paint job. We looked for months locally a shop to fix the issue, and no one wanted to touch it. The Albany Jaguar dealership recommended Coles, so we drove up from Rhinebeck for an estimate. Joe & Jeff from Coles were kind enough to buff all the scratches out and then refused to charge us for their time or efforts. The car looks great now, and I am flabbergasted that an auto place would do the work and then not take payment. Joe & Jeff essentially took on the responsibility of the Rhinebeck auto place that did the initial damage, even though they were under no obligation to do so. They and their team were courteous, friendly, and professional. I am beyond impressed. For all of our future auto body needs, we will not think twice about driving the 1.5 hours up to Coles. They have our business for life, and we will be recommending them to any of our friends/family who need auto body work done. It is incredibly rare to find a business that is leading with generosity and professionalism, so I applaud Joe, Jeff, and their team for the wonderful experience. Well done!

Jeff and his crew did an excellent job repairing my Tesla. It needed to be repainted and the color matched perfectly! Jeff and the staff are knowledgably, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, I have had three accidents with my Tesla in the last year. Cole s has been very responsive, courteous, and professional with each and every one of these repairs. In every case of repainting, the paint quality was as good as the factory, and was perfectly matched. A++ throughout.

Working with Coles was a wonderful experience. While the repairs took a little longer than I had hoped for I realized that this was out of their control in waiting for parts. Im so thankful for the help that they gave me with the rental car as well. Their customer service was absolutely wonderful. All of the staff was pleasant to work with. My Land Rover did take a little longer than expected to be repaired, but with shipping and Covid it s to be expected. Working with Joe was great. the quality of the work was poor and when confronted with my concerns of this joe flipped out and yelled at us then walked away refusing to talk to us. Josh the general manager stepped in a few days later and took excellent care of me and the car. He went above and beyond to fix the mistakes Joe made. He even fixed a small dent not related to the damage as a courtesy Stay away from Albany shop! They string you along and the car is there way beyond the date they tell you it will be done! I highly recommend the Saratoga shop and Josh the general manager! I gave it 3 stars because of the way Josh stepped in and saved the day! If I was only rating Joe and the Albany shop I would give them a half a star!!

From start to finish this was the most complete service I have ever been involved with. From the first call where I reached out after significant damage to my Range Rover Sport Autobiography, they confirmed they would have the capacity to work on it in short order. They worked with the insurance company adjuster directly, and called me or texted me every other day with progress updates. They advised me when parts were coming in, and had the car washed and detailed when I picked it up. Everyone I interacted with from the customer service department to the service professionals who actually worked on my car were amazing. Of course I never want to have to deal with auto damage again, but if I do, I will have my car towed from Boston to Albany just so it will be handled by this outfit. ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL.

Great place, great people. Took my hellcat there after a poor job from another collision shop, and the people here were straight forward and honest. It was originally over a gap between the headlight and bumper, and they took time to explain, show diagrams, and show pictures to make sure I understood everything. Turns out the prior shop didnt fix everything and failed to inform me about a broken piece. Regardless, this shop closed up the gap and advised that it isnt worth the effort, money, and time to fix the broken piece considering its only a minor issue that would become really expensive if we were to repair it. Will recommend, 10/10.

Stopped in at Coles in Colonie after a minor incident on our brand new truck, as in a couple days old. Joe Depiero took one look and almost cried with me. He asked for a few minutes, he did his magic and the truck looks good as new! I was blown away at how quickly he worked and the great job he did. This was only minor, but we will definitely remember them for any future needs and recommend them. Thank you Joe!

Great service but I wasn t happy that the radio was left tuned to a Christian radio station. Seems like that was done on purpose. I won t be returning. That said service was well done, just turned off by the one issue.

Third vehicle I ve had to have repaired over the last few years, and third time they ve knocked it out of the park. Smooth experience, great results, and would absolutely be my first call if needed again.

I only went for an estimate today but so far Im happy with their professionalism and they broke everything down for me.

We had the terrifying experience of hitting a steel torsion bar on the interstate and having it wedge between the tire and the frame. We crawled our way off the highway with it making terrible sounds and unable to turn left at all. Coles was the first place we saw when we got off the highway. They took the truck in right away, took the wheel off, and managed to pull the bar out. They did not charge us at all for this service and helped us find a place to get the bent brake line inspected. They saved our trip and our holiday. Thanks Coles!

I ve never had a better experience with a body shop. They did everything including dealing with the insurance company. I can t recommend them enough.

I took my car here because a friend of mine happened to back into me. My front bumper of my 2015 accord was badly damaged. I called coles collision and they were quick to pick up the phone and as friendly as could be. When I came into the shop John helped me through the process and told me about everything that was going to be done. The process took a little under a week to be completed and they have a texting service that gives you updates along the way! I couldn t be happier with the service and the friendliness of everyone working there. If I ever need any repairs or paint touch ups in the future I will only bring my car to Cole s.

We had a very positive experience at Coles when our van was in a collision a few years ago. They did excellent work and were very timely and professional. We were sufficiently impressed that when I had a fender bender yesterday in a parking lot and my bumper got scuffed, I had no hesitation deciding where to take my car for an estimate. Joe looked at the car and on the spot, proceeded to buff out not only the scuff, but a few other places on the car that had minor scuffs and scrapes. The car looks like new and he even refused payment for his time. We were very pleasantly surprised and impressed. Many thanks to Coles for the high level of service, care, and respect they showed to me.

My new Tesla needed extensive repainting because of factory shortcomings. Naturally, I was reluctant to have my brand new car repainted, and even the Cole s CS agent warned of potential issues with the disassembly/reassembly of panels. Nevertheless, Tesla was adamant that my only recourse was to have about 3/4 of the car repainted by a 3rd party. In the end, I am satisfied with the work done by Cole s. The car now looks as it should have when leaving the factory. Tesla paid the bill, so I am satisfied that Tesla ultimately rectified the problem.

Dropped my brand new Acura TLX off late on a Tuesday night to get a scratch in the door removed. The quality of the work was flawless I have not been able to tell that any body work was done at all. The paint job perfectly blends in with the rest of the car. Unfortunately, the car was not ready until the following Wednesday which was much longer than estimated. Luckily I had a rental car that was paid for, but otherwise this could have been very inconvenient.

I brought my Bolt EV there after getting rear-ended. Im very picky about paint jobs and Coles did an awesome job making my car look like it was just driven off the dealer lot. In fact, they even detailed the car better than I got it from the dealer. Not only that, they even charged it back up! I had a very minor non-paintwork issue and Jeff went out of his way to make sure I was 100% satisfied and fixed it the next day.

Had a new rear bumper put on my 2019 F250 after hitting a gaurd rail. They did a great job replacing the bumper and also trouble shooting the issue with the reverse sensors in the bumper. Joe the service manager was great and extremely professional

Very good experience and the quality of the repair appears to be excellent. Good communication on progress of the repair. I was mildly disappointed at the length of time it took to get an appointment for the original estimate. Otherwise I cannot think of any part of the process that could have been handled better. After screwing around with a different shop. I went to Cole s in Colonie. I was immediately greeted by Joe. After a brief discussion, I was told to drop off the vehicle and we will take care of it. I went there on a Thursday to drop off my vehicle. I was helped by Joe who was extremely professional. He explained to me the extent of the damage and prepared me for my vehicle to be totalled. I kept asking if theres anything else I should do and he was very reassuring about the process. He also helped me get a rental and when that was delayed, he called the company to expedite the process. Overall, it was a great experience in a bad situation.
