Tommy the owner is a very good reliable man. Even with our carvana warranty that sucks he worked with us. He has also took care of our Kia vehicle that is still running The car we had before the car that we ordered with carvana. Who knew that AC drain line needs to be cleared once in a while. It didnt cost barely anything to get it done. This is the place to go!

Traveling from Florida and stopped in to get to my oil changed. Excellent shop and very nice staff. Gave me some great recommendations for things to do and see in the area.

Took my car here MULTIPLE times. Did NOT fix the issue my car is having and wasted my time every single time I took it there. You want your car fixed the right way? Do NOT go here. And do NOT waste your time or money. Do not trust the technicians here and they do NOT listen at all.

Took us right away, no appointment necessary...great customer service and excellent job! Will be a regular customer here! Priced right too.

Drove all the way from Ohio for my alternator bolt to snap in the alternator they got me in the very next day and it was inexpensive aswell thank you for the great service would recommend

Asked them to diagnose a faulty alternator. After diagnosis my car was returned with the serpentine belt just sitting in the engine bay. The owner was clearly irate that I chose to replace the alternator myself instead of paying there far out price. Prices and service are sub par for sure. Kaprals or Leonards auto are by far better choices!

Great place to do business.

I brought my car in on March 18th for an inspection. I was informed that the wheel bearing was loose and my tires need to be realigned. They wanted to charge me $250 to inspect my car, fix the loose wheel bearing and do the alignment. My fiance checked my bearing for me and come to find out it was the tie rod that was loose. All he had to do was tighten it with a wrench and the problem was fixed. I took it elsewhere and it passed Inspection without an issue. It never hurts to get a second opinion. All in all they were nice people but I was very unhappy with the service.

I called at 2:53 to ask if they had time for an oil change. He said he could squeeze me in at 3:30. I arrived at 3:15 and left by 3:30. Great fast service and a really good price. He even filled my tires with air. Ive scheduled an appointment for next week to have the car looked over. I really appreciated the service I got!

Wow I wish everything in life was as simple as joe, Tom and their guys make it We ve been with them since they opened, our kids are grown and now go there and we have sent numerous friends there Can t believe some of the old junkers they kept running for us Nobody s perfect , but these pros have always made it right. Cost is more than fair, timely work well done and they even throw in a friendly atmosphere Rachel and Mike G.

Had a front axle go bad when I was traveling. JT s did the work but didn t install it correctly. Axle came out while driving only 2 hours away Corning. I had to pay for the same repair again and broke down again. JT s also charged me $70 more than the second mechanic who actually fixed it. Be careful with anything but an oil change here.

This is my go to garage. Plenty of variety for garages in Corning, and 9/10 times Ill go with J&T!

These guys got me in quick when my car started acting up passing by on 86. They were courteous and did a great job. Got me back on the road in just over an hour and saved my day!

Came here to get my car inspected after moving to NY from out of state. My car is 14 years old and has had problems so its almost always a pain in the butt to get an inspection. Absolutely no hassle here and they did me a favor by putting on the new front and back plates for me.

First time going there. I called and asked if they did inspections and they were able to get me an appointment same day. Had a great experience. They were so friendly and quick. They just made it super easy for me. Going back to get my oil changed in a few days. Awesome place.

Quick, convenient and friendly service.

I needed an oil change in a pinch, and the folk over at J&T managed to get me in quickly! Not only that, but I was delightfully surprised at the cost of the change itself (compared to other lube&tire shops). Additionally, the gentleman who performed the change was very friendly, personable, and even checked up on my other fluids without asking! All in the course of 10 minutes! Very satisfied with the service. Id give 6 stars if I could.

I have had a good experience every time I take my vehicles for repairs at J&T Auto Cafe. The guys are very friendly, professional and accommodating. Last fall, they were able to do some needed repairs on my SUV before I sold it, and they worked with me to identify these issues and get them taken care of. The quality of work is very high, and rates are very reasonable. The work was done in a timely manner - and gave me the peace of mind that I was not going to pass on any issue to the next owner. I most recently took a used car for them to inspect prior to purchase, and they did a very thorough check of the car, so I could know any potential issues to aid in my buying process. As before, they were very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them.

J&T Auto is the best! They are always friendly, kind and fair. They have done excellent work on all our cars at a very fair price They have given us outstanding advice on all our cars, and even helped us via phone when we had a car issue 400 miles away on a Friday afternoon. We love J&T!

They come off as nice and act like they are trying to work with you and do you a favor but prices are inflated - buyer beware. Saved over 20% down the road at Goodyear.

After reading the reviews on here I really wanted to like them, Im extremely disappointed. When I first moved to Corning I received a free oil change coupon in a Welcome Postcard. I was really hoping that this would be my new go to for work on my car. The first oil change was awesome, the guys were really nice and they even offered me a ride back to work when I dropped my car off during my lunch break. The second time I brought my car in was the mistake. I brought it in for an oil change, even before I hit the suggested millage. When I took my car back on the receipt it said that they checked all of my fluids for me and that everything was good to go. The next day, I drove about 2 hours from Corning. While I was 2 hours away I ran out of coolant. My check engine light came on after as expected. I filled the coolant, came home, and then called J&T. I spoke with Tommy who offered to take another look at my vehicle. After speaking with several friends and family members I was warned not to go back, apparently its common to be taken advantage of here. I ended up going to a family friend who looked my car over and there was several little things wrong with my car that should of been checked and identified if J&T took the time to actually check my fluids. I will not be coming back, and none of my family or friends will be either. Editing for clarity after the Owners Response: The FIRST time they serviced my vehicle was November of 2017, this specific issue happened the SECOND time I brought by Cruze there. This should be enough to prove of dishonesty. The day after I brought my car to them I ran out of coolant and I did contact them the following day as well, just to be told that there was nothing that could be done for me unless I paid them to do so. After taking my vehicle to my trusted mechanic, we found out that they punched a hole in my coolant reservoir. This is why I did not give them another chance. Ladies especially, beware. I also feel the need to point out how old the other reviews are.

My Mother and I take our car there for oil changes and, what we call, mini inspections. We have always been treated with respect and friendliness. The mechanics have always gone over the list of things they checked and what fluids they have filled. We would never consider going anywhere else for our car care. They even informed us when our one tire was going bad. So, we were able to get new ones before we had a bad problem. They have always been honest about when to replace air filters which is a good thing. All in all this is the place to go for good service!

I ve been going to J&T s for years. These guys make every effort to do right by their customers. I ve worked in customer service my whole life and have a high standard that few businesses can meet. J&T s is one of them. Keep up the good work, fellas!

Took my late model Mazda there for a broken cooling fan. Their price was about $200 less than the dealer for the same OEM part and installation. They received the part in 24 hours and fixed my car on my scheduled. I highly recommend these guys!

Awesome place to have work done, big or small repairs. Get oil changed there and I am happy everytime.

We had a brake problem on our camper and we gave then a call and they said they could help us out. We pulled in at about 2pm, they diagnosed our issue very accurately, gave us options for repair, and then completed the repair. Their price was very good and they did very good work! We were out a few hours later.

Took my car there for the first time today without an appointment to get an oil change and an inspection. Super friendly service, and they had my car ready by the time I was done with lunch too! I would have paid much more and waited much longer for the both elsewhere, which is nice seeing as how J & T also filled up my windshield wiper fluid, checked my battery and air pressure and such all for free.

Took my Jeep here multiple times for small service as well as more serious repairs. They always had great communication, timely repairs, quality work, and fair prices. Very reasonable and friendly! I was sad to lose them when I moved away from the area.
