They were all awesome here. I came in with a flat tire and they tried to do everything they can to help me, including calling other service shops. I definitely recommend this garage if you’re looking to be treated right and fairly.
Pretty useless. Just came in for a check engine code clear and they couldnt even do that. All the mechanics conveniently disappeared. Eventually the secretary felt bad and tried to clear it herself. The guys in this shop wont even look at your car for a 5 second code clear unless. Theyll only do it if they can charge you 500+ in labor id imagine
Pen and the folks at Shephards are the best! I just stopped by with a super minor problem (loose star bolt on a door hinge) and they helped me out. I use them all the time for oil changes and inspections. Plus their tire prices basically match Tire Rack.
The owners are very nice and knowledgeable. Their rates are very reasonable. Don’t go anywhere else in the area.
I took my car here to be fixed and when I first spoke with the owner he told me the price of the job would be 456 dollars for the part and 2 or 3 hours of labor. When I went to pick up the car he wanted 986 for the job. I was like what the hell. So I asked how much was the part I was told 456 and how many hours of labor they said 3. So when I did the math with tax that came out to 767 dollars. Well apparently after a very heated agreement it turned out that the algorithmin his computerwas wrong and he was stealingfrom his customers. The best part is he didn't even fix the problem.
They are thorough, capable, knowledgeable, and very down to earth. You can trust the work for a reasonable price. Great business. You can tell a place in a small town is good if they are busy and they are busy.
This place rocks. Be patient - they're mobbed with customers because they provide top-notch service. They fix my '79 F-350, '02 Ford Taurus, '96 Lincoln Towncar and 2013 Ford Focus. Never a negative experience.
Had to have my timing belt replaced as scheduled. He looked at the car, gave me a price and we set the appointment. There were some issues with the delivery of the required part(s), but it certainly wasn't their fault. They notified me about the delay in a timely manner and didn't leave me hanging, which is so much appreciated! The price came in pretty much spot on with no surprises. I've always known he was a great mechanic but I'd never used him before he moved into the new place, making it more convenient for me. I'll be going back, for sure!
John is an enthusiast that I would certainly trust my cars with.

John (Shep) is a regular honest guy who happens to be a mechanic. Reasonable price and I think his helper is OCD which is always good for attention to detail.

Scheduling may be an issue. Made an appointment for an inspection 3 weeks out. Show up and was told that the owner booked too many jobs and that they can t do it. If your over booked at least call so I don t drive 40 minutes for nothing.
I absolutely respect this shop. I had multiple issues with my vehicles and have been to multiple shops and the problems couldnt be fixed, but Shephards fixed it quick and affordable . I absolutely adore the whole atmosphere there

I m not sure why anyone would go anywhere else. Great auto shop that treats their customers as they are the most important person in the room. Always busy which is a good thing, but worth the wait any day of the week.
They always tell it to me straight, offer to show me what theyre talking about incase I want to see, and they have reasonable fees (so far as mechanics go). Good guys, always busy but get you in when they can and honest about when theyll be able to do that. Ill never go anywhere else if I can help it.
They make friends out their customers, and I think that says a lot.
Best mechanic in Delaware County. Fast, thorough and he doesnt add on unnecessary repairs.
