Great company!

From first call through the process of replacing my glass patio door, the service from this company was first-rate. They offer the highest professional standards with a personal touch rarely encountered these days.

Update- Eventually received a call and had a a couple of pieces of broken window glass repaired on windows that others would not touch or were not familiar with how to fix the brand. .So while the process took longer than I had hoped ( they being short staffed) was happy with the results.

Weve had Daves Glass out to our house twice. The first time, they gave a more than fair estimate after other places claimed wed need to replace an entire window and frame. Mike came in and happily did an estimate for a glass replacement, a fraction of the other estimates. The most recent visit, Mike came in and advised us that an issue we thought we were having wasnt nearly as serious. Hes honest, knowledgeable, funny and a very nice guy. Cant recommend this company enough for any glass need you have!

What a hidden gem! Was recommended by a friend who had a broken glass pane replaced and they did a phenomenal job at low cost. I needed 5 window screens redone & called 4 places. Dave s was fat and away the best price and had them done the next day for me!! Not only quick and at an awesome price, but the screens look PERFECT! I could not be any happier. Don t think twice. These people were as accommodating as can be. On a moment s notice, they went out of their way to travel to me for the simplest of repairs. They couldn t have been kinder.

We are replacing the glass panes in an old exterior door, and Daves Glass made the entire process pleasant and straightforward. Judy described all of the glass options and suggested the best type to suit the application, even suggesting a lower cost option than I had originally planned. They took my small job just as seriously as their larger commercial jobs. When I took the panes home I realized the measurement I gave them was 1 too long. I brought the panes back right before closing and they were able to fix my mistake in less than 10 minutes while I waited. Highly recommended!

Daves Glass designed and installed a custom shower for us in Gilboa, NY. I have lived with the install enough time to give an honest review. I cant recommend the company enough. From start to finish it was an enjoyable experience. No drama just good service and a great finished product. Business like it used to be done, honestly and competently. I also appreciate that Daves Glass served our area which is not close to their location.Underserved rural areas still can have a high quality custom bathroom thanks to Daves Glass. I took a hundred year old arts and crafts stairwell window in for repair. Whole bottom third of it was destroyed in an accident while moving something. The repair was meticulous; amazing how you cannot tell it was damaged at all. Very thankful as it was irreplaceable piece of historic home. Price was also reasonable for degree of work required.

Answered all our questions. Although very busy they gave us an appointment to look at our window within a few days. Very courteous.

I had a wall ornament with a mirror insert repaired. They did if for a reasonable price and did a great job. There was a little delay in getting it done but no biggy. Judy was especially nice.

Really great experience with Dave s Glass. When one pane of a double paned basement window shattered, we were unsure how best to deal with it. When we called Dave s, they were extremely helpful and walked us through the entire process. They warned us about supply chain issues (rightfully so) so we expected to wait a month or more for the glass, but they called in about 3 weeks! In and out and it s like brand new! Everyone in the shop is really great to work with too. We highly recommend.

As a business owner in the town of Bethlehem for 21 years, Michael is the most unprofessional local business owner I ve ever dealt with. Last time I was there to pick up a small piece of 1/4 plexiglass, they had to redo it because it was cut out of 1/8 . Today on the phone he started cursing at me for no reason but justified it by saying I thought you were a solicitor. I don t advise anyone subjecting themselves to verbal abuse or patronizing from a place where the owner would treat another person in that manner because he thought I was a solicitor.

I was a bit skeptical of the rave reviews, but having used Daves Im a believer now. We needed two bathroom mirrors cut down as part of a bathrooms remodeling project. They gave me a ballpark estimate for one mirror, and when I called the next day for having two done, they honored the original estimate! Picked up that day, returned the next. Even threw in mirror glue for the remodel project. Even the remodelers wanted their info b/c it was so quick and cheap.

I would give them 10 stars if it was possible! I wanted a piece of mirrored glass for my bar top and they were able to customize it for me. It was exactly what I wanted. I went back for additional pieces of mirrored glass for another project. Judy is professional, polite and very helpful. I will be going back for more mirrored glass for another project. You wont regret doing business with Daves Glass

Daves glass recently replaced a large center pane insulated glass picture window that was nearly 40 years old and rotted. They came and were able to insert a vinyl framed double insulated low E window into the space from outside and so did not disturb the interior. They finished the framing outside with composite wood that never needs maintenance. They were professional and courteous. I am very pleased.

Had to get a new side glass for our 2nd floor shower stall after renovations. Everyone at Daves Glass were extremely helpful and understanding of our schedules and needs. Took multiple measurements and ordered our glass. Unfortunately, a slight issue arose and they were all over it and everything turned out great. The glass looks like it always been there. Thanks to the crew at Daves, this is my shower stall.

I was restoring my front door when I accidentally broke a pane. These windows have curved sides so I thought I was doomed! Luckily Dave s glass helped make me exact replicas so I could replace my odd-shaped glass. The price is excellent for the quality the edges were safe to handle w/o cut gloves unlike square panes you cut yourself or get from a hardware store. The new panes fit perfectly and they are easy to work with even on a small project. I hope I can work with them again on a bigger project someday.

Super happy with the job they performed, they replaced a set of 10 large feature windows and 3 other windows, looks great great price, done quickly and no damage to the existing frames and the staff was very friendly.

By far the best glass company in the area. I had been looking for a glass cover for a custom made dining room table and 4 shelves to go in a glass cabinet. Daves pricing was in the middle of the pack as far as cost of what I was looking for, but from the first conversation with them on the phone I knew they were head and shoulders above the other companies I spoke with. Their knowledge and confidence in the products, as well as the entire process they go through when they deliver the glass and prep it / set it is second to none. I was able to get two custom-sized glass tops for two old end tables that I would like to preserve. Furniture is way too expensive these days to just discard and buy new. For a little over $100, Dave s Glass made me perfectly sized pieces (with a couple curved sides too!). Service was fast, efficient, and top rate. I have a 10+ year old basketball system in my backyard and my husband shot the glass with a bb gun and shattered it. I brought that heavy backboard to 5 different glass places and this was the only one who took the job to put new tempered glass in. Movers broke the glass doors on my curio cabinets. Daves made the replacements at a fair price and even drilled the holes for the knobs. They were also able to replace the hardware that got lost in the move when no hardware store or big box could. Love the woman at the counter, she is always pleasant and friendly and as helpful as she can be. I would recommend them for any glass need..

Broke an old eyebrow window on my 1850s farm house. Brought it into Daves and they fixed it and reglazed it while I waited for $50. I couldve done the reglazing myself and had them just cut a piece of glass for a fraction of the price, but it was a particularly busy work week and I welcomed the full service. Ive used them before and will be back again!

We had custom glass built for our shower in our newly renovated bathroom in April 2016. Mike and his team at Dave s Glass were the only glass shop in the area that we re willing to work with us on some unique design features for the glass. Not only did they exceed our expectations with our final product, but were extremely friendly and timely in doing so. The installation crew was on time and cleaned up the bathroom when complete. And most importantly, the shower doesn t leak! Great overall experience with Dave s Glass and extremely pleased with the outcome.
