I ve had better experiences at Jiffy Lube. I was asked what kind of oil I wanted for my oil change and literally while I was saying I wanted the best quality they were pouring in a different one. (Not the end of the world but what s the point in asking if you were going to put a certain one in anyway?) I asked to get my tires rotated, they refused to do it when I asked why, they said they just didn t want to have the responsibility . When I pressed the matter more they didn t want to elaborate on it so I just dropped it. I m giving a two instead of a one because Jiffy Lube has been very reliable for me. (Especially the one I was at) But I guess it was just one of those days.

I came in for an oil change. The staff was polite, quick and efficient. The system didn t send me a free car wash the way it was supposed to, but that was a computer error. Staff was great and I will return.

I needed an inspection asap and stopped at 2 other places before this both of them said try again tomorrow but I got in and out in under an hour at Jiffy Lube and they were courteous and affordable!

Jiffy Lube is ok, but the carwash ruined the paint on the roof of my wifes car. She had an unlimited wash plan. The issue isnt with the wash, its with the drying. The carwash is so short that in order to dry your vehicle, the air jets are pointed in such a way that it collapsed the roof of the car. It ruined the clear coat on her Chevy Malibu.

I was never in today. I m still waiting for someone to call me.

I waited for at least half hour before someone finally came to my car, and I was one of only two cars waiting! In past visits, someone came to my car as soon as I arrived, started the intake process, and directed me to the waiting area. Has your procedure changed? It took almost an hour and a half to get an oil change.

Slower then slow and they just want to sell you more stuff then you need. As slow as they are another customer had to come back because they did not tighten his tire up after an inspection. They ask for all of your information when waiting in line. Then when they are trying to sell you air filters, top your fluids, vacuum ect all at additional cost. When you are just there for an inspection. Frustrating

I went to jiffy lube on February 2, 2025 to get an NY state inspection at the Delmar, NY location . I had my jeep gladiator rubicon for one year. The technician was very persistent that my windshield wipers were torn and I needed them to be replaced to pass inspection. The bill totaled 84.00 for an inspection and wiper replacement. There is no way in H. E. double L that wipers on a vehicle of 1 year of age needed to have wipers replaced. Are you this desperate for money Jiffy lube? This is not an isolated incident. This particular establishment is doing this to many customers on a daily. This Jiffy Lube needs to reported to the better business bureau if it hasn t been already.

They treated me well took care of my car and I have trouble walking and they lend me a shoulder in and out of the place twice I had to go back to get my car inspected because the computers were down I give them 5stard

I came in for an oil change for my 2022 jeep wagoneer yesterday. While I was waiting, a woman complained about the tech try to upsell her and told her she needed a full flush bc of sludge and what they found. They then told another woman she needed to flush the transmission. That woman just had a trans flush the month prior. Luckily both denied the extra services. When they called me up, they again tried the same scam. They informed me that I needed to complete a full engine flush bc my oil was sludge. I know for a fact this was a lie. My vehicle is a 2022 wagoneer that goes in for service every 3-4000 miles. I just checked the oil two days prior and it was still clear. The only reason I came into this establishment was bc I could get into the dealer quick enough before we leave town for Christmas. My last service at the dealer was 37k miles and I came into here at 40k miles. DON T TRUST THEM!! I just called my dealer and explained what happened . I go in on Monday for them to review their work and see if all said service was completed or not and get a real report. I will keep everyone posted.

I arrived to have my inspection done after work and they immediately helped- they let me know the wait time but the staff work so fast and efficient it was much less time. The tech that inspected my car- Daquan was such a nice person! The whole crew!! I will always come to Jiffy Lube for my inspection now.

This is the worst Jiffy Lube in the CR. Arrived there for an inspection and oil change with two cars ahead of me and it took nearly three hours. Part of that was trouble they had with reading OBD codes from my car, which isnt their fault, but it was still evident just from watching the crew that even minimal expediency was not high on their priority list. Then a tech (who reeked like weed) told me my 2021 Ford Escape Hybrid with less than 80k miles failed because of worn down rear rotors, and noted on the inspection report that rotors on hybrids wear down much faster because of regenerative breaking. This is complete and utter nonsense. Do not go here.

Just had inspection today but get my oil changes there also but was not due yet.

140 dollars for oil change and no vacuum like the sign said. will not be going back. Been there a few times but got ripped off this time. Seems like alot for an oil change. I tried contacting the email to respond to and no email address known. What kind of run around is this. Please beware of this place

Quick and easy oil change!

I arrived on a Sunday, 15 minutes before they opened so that I would be one of the first seen. The employees of the shop proceeded to work on their own vehicles, taking precedence over the order of the customers who had arrived. I ended up having my vehicle seen over an hour after they officially opened.

The Jiffy Lube in Delmar New York damage my vehicle and used a zip tie a fix it without telling me. I do not recommend this place.

The slowest place for inspection, it took 2.5 hours Just for inspection. They bring three car at same time into garage, but all employees work on one of them.

A long wait ..initially came in for a tire pressure check and inspection. Arrived around 2 pm. Radiator needed replacement. Once I found that out, I waited til around 4 as manager took an hour and half lunch ....Daquan the clerk who helped me gave me a significant discount for the inconvenience. Please reward him.

Fastest oil change service I ever had

Unfortunately when I arrived I was third in line and it took 2 hours for an oil change today. I am not blaming to help because they only had three people there working. But 2 hours for an oil change when you are a third in line upon arrival is unacceptable. I felt bad for the workers that actually showed up to work but my time is more valuable than that.

Spent my last dollars at Jiffy Lube. Ford F-150 oil change now was $120 after a $15 coupon. Plenty of independent garages that will do for $75-100. Jiffy not so Jiffy anymore either. Always takes longer than it used to. Lots of talking and not a lot of concentration by the guys for the task at hand

I ve been here for multiple oil changes. They do that fine. But on the receipt it says they fill your tires and reset the safety lights, vacuum the floors, etc. They 100% have never done that and in my opinion this is extremely dishonest service.

Got a run of the mill oil change at the Delmar NY location. Mechanic removed access panel on underside of my vehicle to complete the maintenance. Never bolted it back up. Drove away dragging a piece of my car on the ground. Called to tell them what happened and was told by AGM the GM would call me next day. No call back. This is the SECOND time this happened to me at this location. I allowed them the benefit of the doubt the first time because mistakes do happen but a pattern of laziness and no accountability needs to be addressed. If it happened twice to me, no telling how many other people have had issues too.

I came for an inspection and asked if they could do it today. They said, Yes, we can; please take your place in line. After waiting for an hour, they told me, We can t lift your Tesla if you don t have pods. An hour later, I got my inspection done at Mavis in East Greenbush.

This was not a quick oil change today. I got there at 3:50pm and left at 5:30pm There were 3 cars in the bays, there was one car waiting outside then there was me. As it would have it a tanker truck pulled up just as a car was leaving the 3rd bay. He blocked that bay for approximately half an hour. I was finally taken in after the car next to me was brought in. It took them about 10 minutes before they actually go to my car to work on. I noticed that my tail lights were on as were my marker lights in the front. They were on the entire time. It was a good hour maybe more that they were on. No one seemed to notice that???? I did not say anything. I have a drivers side rear door that has a latch that is broken so that door does not open or stay closed. Somehow one of the associates managed to open that door. Why would they need to open the drivers side rear door anyway??? Maybe to vacuum. Maybe their video system could see that happening. The door when open, does not latch when closing to shut and to stay closed. Why could they not see that, and why would they not bring that to my attention. At the end of its stay in the oil change area the battery was dead, and it had to be charged in order to get the car out of there. Why would no one see that the lights were on for such a long time and not have them turned off. I asked the manager if he saw that my lights were on the entire time, but he said he didnt notice. Isnt it his job to oversee everything? The car was not there for an inspection, so why were the lights on to begin with. I paid my bill telling the manager that I was not happy and that they were responsible for their actions and inactions. I received a canned response of Im sorry. Once out of there i went through the car wash, not knowing about my drivers side rear door. As I was going through I felt an air flow going through the car. I looked back and saw my rear door opening and closing. My entire back seating area was soaking wet with soap and water, and I got wet too, but not as bad as my back seat. As you are going through the wash there are brushes and other apparatuses that could have caught the door and tore it off or at least damaged it, but that did not happen thankfully. What a time that was being at this location. In the past I have checked my oil fill level and saw that it was not up to the level that its supposed to be. I have brought the car back to have them top it off. This time I didnt check the level as i was too busy drying out my car and me. The incompetence is astounding. The video footage at the shop will tell the tale from the inside oil change area to the inside of the car wash.

their service itself is good but they aggressively try to upsell on every possible thing. with my simple inspection it wasnt too bad. My wife also needed an oil change and they kept her there for a full hour after I left and tried to strong arm her into $700 in additional services based solely on her mileage and refused to listen to the fact that she goes elsewhere for maintenance and repairs.

I needed a NYS inspection which was completed in good time with very efficient staff. I always get oil changes at Jiffy Lube and again - efficient, timely, but also with friendliness and respect. They have a comfortable wait area, free bottles of water and a restroom if needed.

Best carwash in the Capital District. Not only this location, but all of the Hoffman Carwashes. Have been using their services for almost 20 years, including detailing and Jiffy Lube.

They did not acknowledge my arrival for 30 minutes at which point the attendant prioritized vehicles that arrived 10-15 minutes after I had. I informed them of the error and that I was leaving. Its disappointing to see a Mercedes given priority over a pickup.

My inspection was overdue and the other service center I went to took care of my oil change but was not able to complete the inspection, which was a total bummer! I went over to jiffy lube and they were awesome and efficient. I will head there first next time! 7/5/2024 Back again. Helpful and efficient. Called afterwards with a question about my inspection and they were very helpful as well.

A bit slow and could work on friendliness

I would never go to Monroe with these guys around. Corey the manager is excellent. The technicians work quickly and efficiently. I got my inspection here. It seems like i m not the only one who receives a suggestion for new brake fluid, which is why I always have my mechanic check those things. However, they are not too pushy here.

A gentleman named Corey M, treated me very badly. He didnt like me communicating with the person I know at the store to assist me since I dont speak English. I treated myself very badly both when offering me the diagnosis and when I proceeded to pay. And in the end they billed me above the price. This was the way he used to annoy me. Since I dont understand the language, I proceeded to pay, but I dont agree with the price. I have been your client for more than 3 years.

Got in reasonably quickly at 9am for an oil change, which, with coolant top off and full synthetic oil, as recommended by my car manufacturer, was $142, which I think is a lot for an oil change. Part of the Signature Service includes vacuuming car interior and cleaning the exterior windshield. Neither of those services were performed, in fact I had to wipe off the crayon marks before I left, from the outside of the windshield placed by one of the technicians. Also, I filled up the windshield wiper fluid prior to going for the service, and on my receipt, it was recorded as filled, which implies to me that they were the ones to fill it with, which was not the case.

Always get my inspection done here - they are great, often make suggestions for services but not at all pushy about it. Also get my oil changed here since my dealer reneged on their life time oil changes (turns out lifetime is 3 years - ha ha) Was a bit tough getting in this month, but went on Memorial Day @7:45 and was first in line. Like and Trust this Jiffy Lube (Delmar).

I came here to get my oil changed last week. Next day I saw my engine was smoking, and it turns out that they left my oil cap off so it was leaking all over. I ended up calling and they said they would give me a free oil change and fix the issue. I came in, waited for 20 minutes in my car because they said I was already helped even though nobody came up to my car. This place was recommended to me because they re usually pretty quick with their services, but I had a poor experience.

I have always used the Jiffy Lube in Delmar, however, todays experience could only be describe as Poor! I realize it was a Friday afternoon, but they never reset my oil meter, never gave me a sticker and told me my free car wash would be sent by text, which I still havent received. The person who brought in my car left dirty shoe points on my mat! The only redeeming thing was they got me in and out quickly.

I call them and bring my car to them for just about any and everything. Being a transplant here I had no car help connections, that was until I went here for my first oil change. The customer service was genuine, and not once did I feel like they were dishonest. Fast forward over 3 years later Im constantly telling people to go here. The work is always done right and efficiently, and everyone is incredibly friendly!

Jiffy Lube has always been a rip off. Unfortunately my car needed an oil change and I was in a hurry. So the first complaint is that there is absolutely nothing Jiffy about it. There was a man in the waiting area that had been waiting for two hours to get an inspection and they would not pass his inspection unless he bought wiper blades for $80. They charged me $172 for a tire rotation and oil change. I usually pay $112 where I normally go. The guy also told me that my Acadia was due for a rear differential lube. You should have seen his face when I told him that front wheel drive cars don t have rear differentials. They ALWAYS try to up-charge and apparently even scam. This has been my experience at every Jiffy Lube I have ever gone to. You going for an oils change and they try to talk you into $1000 worth of other stuff

WOOF. I ve been here twice and the service feels totally disingenuous. For comparison: The next time I went to my hometown mechanic, I received a different response to my service inquiry. I didn t intend for this to be a secret shopper experience, but incidentally it became that and NAH, I m good on ever going to this location again. EDIT: have currently reached out for review

Overall my visit was a good experience, everyone was friendly and completed in a reasonable amount of time. The main issue I have is that I was offered service that was not needed. The technician suggested I get my brake fluid replace, said it came back dirty which I declined, I just completely flushed and replaced the brake fluid a few months ago when I had to replace a rear caliper. Not sure how they came to that conclusion but it was an unnecessary suggested service.

The staff at this location are kind, understanding, and attentive. My experience at this Jiffy Lube was outstanding. I just relocated to this area and in great need of help with my vehicle, they were welcoming and solution driven. Thank you Jiffy Lube!

I asked if I could get an estimate of the work I was told $600 when they got my car in the garage & started working on it I was told $1200. I wish they would have been upfront from the beginning and I feel like they over charge for everything. Car is fixed but honest from the jump could help cause what if I didn t have the funds

Not bad but was $170 for an oil change and to change a blinker bulb.

Went in for an NYS inspection. As always I was expecting the upsell but was not presured into anything . This would have been a 5 star review but I did get skipped in the batting order. It may have been that the inspection guy was busy with another vehicle but a heads up from the staff would have been nice.

I received an oil change a week ago and attempted to get an Inspection but was told that I needed new tires. I was reassured that I needed nothing else. Got tires, went back today and had a terrible experience. All of the staff were pleasant, with the exception of one. I wish that I had his name, to mention in my review. He was round, chubby and rude (in case you need a description). I ve had no issues with this location, until today. First off, I was the only car that pulled up and as the rude guy walked towards my car, he stopped to tend to the second car that pulled up. I noticed it but brushed it off. Went inside, he spoke to me about several things that were suggested for my car. I declined everything but the wiper blades. I asked him what the prices were for the blades. He replied $40 . I asked for prices for all types of wipers and he stated that s all that we have. While waiting in the lobby, several wiper prices appeared on the screen. I asked the same rude guy about the prices that showed on the screen and again he stated, that s all that we have. I paid and left. The gentlemen who were outside, pleasantly waved their goodbyes. I pulled one aside and asked him for the supervisor since the interaction that I had with the rude guy, didn t sit right with me. I spoke with the supervisor, who took his time to search for other wipers and told me what they had in stock. The supervisor was able to find a less expensive option, refunded me for the initial charge and recharged my account. This could have been avoided if that rude employee would have taken a few minutes to check and see what they had and informed me of my options. He s lazy, rude and needs to learn how to display good customer service. I ve been coming to this location for years and am extremely disappointed in his service. He needs to be retrained and he needs to check himself to figure out how he could have done a better job, so that he ll never leave a customer with a distasteful experience. I may or may not continue to visit this location but if I do, I will not let that guy touch my car.

The most expensive oil change Ive gotten yet! First time Jiffy Lube customer and probably last. I never received any receipt due to technical difficulties so I cant even determine the actual reason.

The guys are prompt, friendly, and professional. Im a long-time, loyal customer and its nice to be recognized and valued for that.
