Scott was very good at his job and paid attention to our concerns. Our furnace had been doing a hard lockout 3 times a day and hasn t since he fixed it. We were previously scheduled for an appointment several days away but when we had the issue our appointment was moved up to the next day.

We have used Mohawk for several years, and have always had well trained, polite, and professional technicians work on our hvac systems. Scott came to repair an outside propane leak, it was twenty degrees! On time and despite the cold, completed the repair, tested all the appliances and thanked me. This is how you define service.

The team from Mohawk who installed our new heat pump were great. They took out our old furnace, drained our oil tank and installed the new unit. The guys were on time, friendly, professional and respectful of our property and pets. They kept us informed of the process throughout the project.

Zachary Andrew was efficient and explained what needed to be done to address the mold he found in the unit inside the house. He contacted the office so that he could come back the next day to make fix the problem. The office contacted me within an hour to set up a time.

Great service and thorough

So far so good with the Lennox mini-split heat pump system installed by Mohawk Heating. That and the Bradford-White heat pump water heater. Both systems are working well and with no issues. This will be the first winter with the mini-splits and looking forward to a summer without AC window units as cooling as well as heat is available.

Mohawk has a gem in Scott Clapper. He was prompt, kind, knowledgeable and fair. What more can you ask?

On July 3rd 2024 In order to get a service call from the company Mohawk Heating CO. INC. (Heating and Air-conditioning) located in Duanesburg, NY I paid $135.00. Jeffrey the technician made an appointment to come back the next day to service my air conditioner. They needed time to diagnose the problem. I explained to them multiple times I was on a fixed income, and I couldn t afford a big bill. Jeffrey came back the next day and assured me several times before he left my home that day that I would have air conditioning. He did spend a long time trying to solve the problem. However, he did not fix it. He did not charge me at the time for he wanted to send one of his superiors over to check his findings. Jeffrey s superior did not find anything different then what Jeffrey had found. He did say if you add another part for $500.00 that it might make the air conditioner work but that it was not guaranteed. When the bill came it was for $1,242.00 in addition to the $135.00 for the original service call. For $1,377.00 I received nothing, and my air conditioner still does not work. I feel that the Mohawk Heating CO. INC. (Heating and Air-conditioning) gouged a senior citizen, and I would not recommend them. November 1st UPDATE: After posting a review on Mohawk Heating s website, Christina called me and offered to order the $500 part and put it in free of charge to make the air conditioner work. If it did not fix the air conditioner, they would return my check for $1,377 and charge nothing for their services. Logan came and fixed the air conditioner and heat pump on October 24th. It works perfectly and is guaranteed for one year. Mohawk Heating was more than fair by ordering the additional part and putting it in at their expense. They will be my heating and cooling company from now on and I will recommend them to everyone.

Edgar is very thorough and diagnosed several areas of concern and ordered appropriate parts to rectify the problems. He helped us understand what was needed and what he was able to repair by cleaning and maintaining equipment.

Service was great except for one thing I will call about next week. With the replacement on the pressure release valve the pipe is too short. The old one was long enough to drain to where the water could be captured, the new one is too short it drains onto the cement pad and flows back toward the boiler. The pipe needs to be longer, just like the previous one

Had a service appointment for 9/19 between 3pm and 5pm literally been waiting for them, I call them around 445 to see whats going on, the girl goes they called you and left a voicemail. I told them I have not received a call or voicemail. All she can is say Im sorr, ridiculous, lost time for work for them to come. Terrible communication on their part.
