Honest and thorough! They are what every mechanic should be. They truly put me and my needs first. I brought my car with a check engine light in. They went above and beyond to diagnose and helped lead me through the least expensive fixes first. They explained everything to me as I went. I never felt “sold” or pressured. Having a local trustworthy mechanic is a must. These guys have earned my business!
Ray is a top flight mechanic and one of the best places to take your vehicle in the capital district. He’s honest and skilled at his craft which seems to become harder and harder to find in a mechanics shop. A+ quality mechanics shop for A+ rated people who own it.
Absolutely fantastic place. Ray was really really accommodating during an emergency, very friendly and super helpful. He managed to squeeze me into an already full schedule to fix my starter. Price was also much less than I was expecting. Can't recommend enough over the awful experiences I've had at the "big chain garages" 6/5 stars.
I took my car to several places due to it vibrating and was told it was just the wheels needed balancing....which I knew was not the issue. I explained to the big local dealership that my kid would be driving the car, so it needed to be safe. Nope, nothing wrong, just needed balancing apparently. Ray at 577, immediately diagnosed the issue, fixed the issue, treated me like a human instead of some hysterical female, and was very moderately priced. Was so relieved that the car was fixed and now safe for my kid. 100% recommend for honest, affordable and accurate service.
These guys are UNBELIEVABLE! I recently pulled a review from another place that basically just screwed me and 577 auto went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me. Cannot say enough good things about them. He is such a caring, honest, and wonderful mechanic. I’ve always come here but moved to Clifton Park and tried to find someone local. Nope- I always find myself coming back bc they never fail to take care of me. A great mechanic is hard to find so when you find one- you stick with them!
I am an older single woman,, and have always had excellent service here. My car is a 2010 Ford. They have reset the computer, inspected, changed the oil, repaired my brakes and other services in the past few years. Reasonable charges for services provided. Very nice and professional.
The only place I will bring my car. The guys are very trustworthy and will never rip you off. I had a problem with my new car and Ray explained what was wrong and advised that the part should still be under my warranty and to take it back to the dealer instead of trying to charge me to fix it there. It is so nice having a place that I look forward to stopping in, instead of being worried about being overcharged and lied to like some other places. They are the best! Great people and great service.

Took my car here because I had a check engine light on. Ray couldnt figure it out. Said it could be anything and my car was screwed. Even though it was bringing up a code. What is the point of being a professional if you cant do your job.

If you are looking for a repair shop where you are treated honestly they will only address the needs that you ask for if there may be anything else that be a safety concern to you Ray (owner) will contact you. It is hard to find a repair shop with the expertise and knowledge as 577 Auto Care gives you.
I was in line and there was a argument in front of me with the customer & cashier so I go to self pay and your customer representative there didnt know nothing to help me out then I go back in line and major back up with ONLY 2 registers open!!!!! HORRIBLE PLACE!!!!! Never go back!!!!!

i called asking about an alignment and they said we dont do that here yet other reviews were praising them on the jeep alignment they had done and how one of the two is a Jeep guy...its ok to say no but dont lie...thats an integrity issue.
Ray literally saved me from the nasty lying unskilled Jeep dealership service. I don t want to name names ;-) but Goldstein had me spending 1000 s of $ s. When I came to 577 auto Ray immediately figured out the problems and took good care of my beloved Jeep. They are honest, kind, fair, and take the time to show you the car and explain what the problems are. I came to them 3 years ago and I am never going anywhere else!

I was new to the area and freaking out about a car issue I had no knowledge about so I called Al at 8:30 PM hoping to learn the hours of 577 Auto. Al answered the phone because he was working late and talked me through things I could do to fix my car myself and even though they were booked weeks in advance he offered to have me bring it in the next morning to just make sure everything was ok. His business partner Ray checked everything up and only charged me a half hour of labor, even though they spent a decent amount of time with me through this whole process. It was an excellent experience and I know that if I ever need car work done in this area again I will definitely go back to 577 Auto... great business!
