First visit for brake pad replacement. They were very helpful in explaining in Japanese how and where to repair in an easy-to-understand manner, and the repair was completed in 3 hours as explained. Prices are also reasonable. I should have asked for it sooner.

Scheduled the vehicle drop off almost 2 weeks in advance, dropped off at 9am, stopped by at 6pm only to find out that nothing was done. Too busy. Why the #$% did you accept the key when I dropped it off? Why couldnt you call a day before and state that you cannot commit and ask to reschedule? Why during the day you couldnt call and ask if I can leave the car for one more day?

Im on the fence w this place.. great guys but Im on round 2 trying to get brakes pads replaced.. dropped car 9a.. get there 130 and wrong pads.. cmon... while I was ready to take car the rite pads came in... hopefully nothing goes wrong.. but I shouldnt hv to keep repeating what I need done..

When I called they told me the work would take half an hour and gave me an estimated charge. When I went there, they let me wait for more than one hour and charged more than double as I expected.

The mechanic here is always willing to make time for question and emergencies. My father came to visit from Connecticut, and his 2002 car had a worn alternator. Because he needed to be back home in less than two days, the mechanic made time for my fathers car, even though his schedule was really full. My father was back in Milford the next day with a fair car bill. An out of state business card has earned his wallet space.

Owner, Taka is an amazing mechanic and very knowledgeable of many make and model of vehicles and I give my 100% trust in my car. Just got my regular check ups, oil changes and a transmission oil change as per his recommendation and while during that time, he also noticed that my car s battery was in need a replacement. He always contacts me before he changes them and tells me the cost involved. And I really appreciate that level of service. Once again, Saeilo took care of my immediate needs, in this case a tire with a slow leak in one cars tire and a headlight bulb replacement for my other car, very quickly even though I showed up without an appointment. And, once again, I was surprised by the very reasonable charge for these services.

Worse experience, my battery died during oil change and it was because of heat he said. I had it checked about a month ago and everything was fine. I would recommend taking pictures of all important removable parts of your car and check it against that if something doesn t look right. Never going there again.

Worst service ever! I went to Saeilo motors for the first time for regular oil change. He asked me to leave the car and come back in a few hours. After I got the car back, out of no where the tires started wobbling and the car battery died. When I showed him both the things he straight forward refused to admit any of the issues. My car was in a perfect condition before I left it at him place. I would strongly advise against taking your car to him.

I went there to change the oil in my car. It was my first time owning a car, so there were a lot of things I didnt understand, but he kindly taught me a lot of things. It seems to be crowded on Saturdays, so reservations are required. Theres Target and Starbucks right in front of me, so I was able to leave my car there and go do some shopping, so it was convenient.

Please stay away from this Auto repair shop, I have a 2005 Honda CRV with over 200k. I asked the owner Taka to test drive and see if he could find a problem with my car that has been stalling. The next day I came and picked my vehicle he replaced 3 bulbs which I didnt ask for him to replace and he charged me $ 93.37 for parts and labor and test drive. To replace 3 light bulbs he charged me $ 42.50 for labor cost. Do yourself a favor and stay away, they will rip you off

My first impression of Taka was that he is very honest: My aging Honda had smoke coming from the radiator and when I told this to my mechanic at the time, he said I might need a new radiator, which would be very expensive. I decided to get a second opinion and read a few positive reviews of Saeilo and since they re nearby, I went there Taka took a look at the radiator, saw the smoke and figured out the problem: The radiator cap was simply defective and needed to be replaced, at the cost of just a few dollars. True story. I ve happily had my Honda serviced by Saeilo ever since. They know their stuff, prices are reasonable and did I mention they re honest?

Mr. Taka has been my go to mechanic since I moved to Edgewater. His prices are reasonable, his turnaround times are good, and hes a very nice person. He doesnt have a big waiting room, but Target and Starbucks are across the street. Mr Taka has recently started checking in via text to follow up after appointments, which is very appreciated!

One of the tires on my jeep has been slowly leaking air. It loses 5 psi every week. I visited a jeep dealership but after waiting 2 hours there they cannot locate the leak. Then a friend refers me to Saeilo Motors. So I visited on early Saturday morning and Taka managed to locate the slow leaking point and repair the tire all within a couple of minutes. Happy with the quick fix and the repair cost they charge here is very reasonable.

Inconvenient entrance for customers even they have a convenient place but the customer service is worse than their place. Never keep the time they promised and only had knowledge what they worked before. And still asking too much money even they have poor knowledge on especially recent european cars . Not recommended.

I almost dont want to write a review for Saeilo Motors because they are literally the best repair shop I have ever been to in my life (and I am a senior citizen so I have been in plenty repair shops!) and I sort of want it to be a secret. Mr. Takahashi is unbelievably honest. He only charged me $10 to fix my bumper that had fallen off when I ran into a snowbank! Any other repair shop would have bilked me for untold labor charges. A couple months ago my car was making a funny noise and I took it to him. He drove it and said it was fine...No charge. Who does that?? Only honest, capable and fair car repair shops that rely on good work and word-of-mouth. One day as I was waiting for my car to be finished, another customer was seated next to me who told me he drives over 90 miles to bring his car to Saeilo and has been doing so all his life. Mr. Takahashi is very well-qualified and has all kinds of training and award certificates on his wall. I have had many different types of service done by him on my GM vehicle with over 160,000 miles. Top-notch place and highly recommended!

Called them at 8:30am and asked to be there for an oil change at 9:30am. They took care of me quickly and $50 later I was out the door with an oil change in 30 minutes. Great service, quick and to the point.

Cant rate the handiwork that well since I only used this service twice and only for nails/bolts in my tires. However, I showed up there with a deflating tire at 8pm, which is 2 hours after he closes. Saw the light inside and knocked. The man ended up taking my tire off, finding the tiny nail and fixing it. Thats good service.

Its not a fancy dealership, however is surely a no frills auto repair centre that can, address any and every concern for Japanese ,european and American cars.. Taka ..I call him Uncle Taaka.. takes great care when doing a job on a car :) Hes one person who will give you honest and genuine advice, for what needs to be fixed or replaced and is absolutely necessary, unlike dealerships who want you to replace each and every component. I came in for a vehicle inspection. They found a problem with the cooling system and took some steps to try to alleviate it. They did at least a few other fixes, as well (my F150 made a noise before, which was probably the fan-belt). If you want them to just look at your car or truck without doing any work, you should probably specify when you drop it off. Otherwise, the people at the shop are nice; and theyll take it upon themselves to make small fixes where necessary. Ive gone here only once; however, based on my research, the total cost was very reasonable and the shop is honest. Highly recommended.

Theyre honest and run by a clearly highly experienced mechanic. I came in with a recently bought used car that I wanted to have a general check up to get ready for an inspection. He pointed out what the minimum I had to do to pass, what things I wanted to keep an eye out for, and what things I could honestly get away with not repairing. Im walking away knowing everything thats wrong with my car, and how much of that I actually need to worry about. Really honest, way cheaper than Sears, and down to earth. Based on my experience, theyre not going to try to get you to fix something that you dont need to fix.

Probably the best repair short in north jersey. I called Mr. Taka about installing a magnaflow muffler on my Mercedes CLK, he was very professional and we set up appointment for this weekend. Also another resonator job that most shops are too low tech to do. This is my first time using Mr. Takas shop and I will be a return customer forever. Im very careful where I get my car modified and ive heard so much from friends and family who come here that I had to choose Saeilo Motors for my muffler installation and resonator modify job.

it used to be a good place, but now it is not as good as before. They charged you $45 for a regular oil change and even did not check your tire pressure. They used to check everything for you, but things changed a lot. You asked them to check some problem, they just leave there and told you that they could not see the problem. Not responsible any more, please be aware.
