Had a nightmare experience at this place, went there to change a part , left my car and my keys.30 minutes later the boss calls me and tells me someone sideswiped my car. The car was destroyed, the owner didn’t want to take responsibility for it even though it was in his possession and on his property.talked to my lawyer and he said I can’t sue because I had no paperwork proving they had my car so I had to pay thousands of dollars out of my pocket to fix it.owner said it was my fault, very rude and disrespectful , they didn’t want their insurance to go up so he lied and made believe he didn’t hear the collision, meanwhile the garage was literally 5 feet from my car.they told me to park the car on the corner as they said it was safe because there was nowhere to park it.they told me to keep coming back originally because they were busy and when I Finally was supposed to do The job this nightmare happened.DONT GO THERE!!!! RUDE AND DONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS THERE FAULT.my lawyer told me they were 100% responsible but I was screwed because I had no proof of them doing any work on the car.TRUST ME DONT GO THERE!

I can't even do justice with a review,, this glass shop is 10/10. Service, efficiency and quality it's all there. I am so blessed I found this shop to change my windshield due to a pretty bad crack. Mike is a trustworthy owner who earned my respect with the job that's was done. New moldings, recalibration, high quality windshield for an unbeatable price in alil over an hour. I am so happy. Will come here for all glass needs and recommending here any chance I get. I pray for the continued success of this business, they deserve it. Ignore the bad reviews that put doubt, go here and u won't regret it. My car was broken into and I came to Bayside Auto Glass because it had great reviews. Mike and Dean were great. An hour after I noticed my car had been broken into I called them and they said to take the car over. The wait time was quick. About an hour and the price was reasonable. My window is brand new and they did a fantastic and thorough job. Thanks!

Had my cars side window repaired by this shop! Excellent service! Dean, the owners son, was kind and easy to talk to. Also I called up a few spots in Queens and Brooklyn for an estimate and this place had the best price! Extremely pleased with this pop and son shop.
NEVER AGAIN! After reading the reviews, I decided to take my OEM Mercedes windshield here for installation. It was also very close to the Bayside Mercedes parts dept. I dropped off the vehicle with the owner's son Dean, who btw is a very person. I returned after a couple of hrs and the installation appeared to look fine. Drove off and noticed a streak and turned on the wipers to clean. Turns out the wipers were misaligned and would not wipe far enough on the drivers side or go back down to the original position. I called Dean within 5 minutes and he said to come back. Upon returning, his father Mike came out to fix the misalignment. He attempted to align the wipers by just loosening the bolts and pushing/bending the wipers until they were parallel with the bottom base of the windshield then tightened them. After several attempts where he would tell Dean to turn or off the wipers to see if they're aligned, he became visibly frustrated because the wipers would go back to the misaligned position, said the f word and stared at me a couple of times as if I did something wrong. After a another attempt they seemed to be aligned, however, I turned the wipers on as I drove off and sure enough it was back to square one. I ended up taking my car to a mechanic who removed the windshield bolts and wipers completely and aligned them properly. He pointed out that a bolt cap and screws were were missing and by bending and pushing the wipers could strip the teeth or gears of the wiper motor. I will never recommend or refer anyone to this place!

So I go to get in my car Monday to go to work and see some SOB smashed out my passenger side window . Yippee ! I go to work and one of my friends there called these guys since /he used them in the past. They quoted $200 to replace it, and it would take an hour or so. So I drive there and as soon as they see me pull up the guy comes out and says You were the one who called yesterday ? I was astounded he remembered the conversation. I double checked the price and timeframe. He acknowledged. They took the car in a few mins later and was in an out in around an hour. They really stuck to the time and price and also vacuumed up the mess of glass that was all over my car . Top notch friendly service and while I hope I dont have to, Ill definitely use them for any future glass needs. He uses made in USA parts .Just note its cash only, so hit up the ATM and take out whatever price he quotes you before going

This place is great!! I had my window broken and called them to check if they had the type needed. Luckily for me they had a spare one. Drove to them and within 45 minutes all done. The owner Mike was very friendly and able to accommodate time for me although they were so busy. Overall Im so happy with their service and pricing. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

NEVER AGAIN! I replaced the windshield for my Honda Pilot recently, and its been leaking ever since during rainy days. First, they troubleshot and claimed my sunroof drained too slow, so I went to the repair shop and cleaned it with an air compressor; I even cleaned the AC drain tube at the same time. However, theres still water leaking into the car. I went back and I pointed out that the leaking could be either from the bottom because windshield is not flush, or the top molding area because it is not properly aligned, the glass was pushed down from the top. I requested a re-seal, but they arrogantly claimed they have years of experience and never admitted its their installation problem. Instead, they then claimed the sunroof drain tube above the headliner was the issue. So, I went back to the repair shop and opened the headliner, and found nothing wrong, poured water down the sunroof while the headliner was open and didnt see any water leaking. I will never recommend or refer anyone to this place!

I was able to find Bayside Auto Glass on Google after waiting and waiting and waiting for SafeLite to get back to me for over a week. I gave Dean a call this morning and he was able to help me out. I was in and out of his shop in the same day. Great work and super efficient. I would definitely recommend this shop to all my friends and family.
Called for a quote on rear windshield replacement. Guy on the phone sounded impatient and told me he ll call back in a few minutes. Didn t tell me anything on the phone except that the glass is very hard to get and it will be very expensive. Waited for his callback but never received a call. Look elsewhere.
This place really went out of their way to help me out and at the best price out of all the other places I called. My window was broken in a robbery; the whole window was completed broken and ripped out, and there were glass shards everywhere. When I called the store they gave me a great rate. When I took the car over not only did the fix the window but they also cleaned up all the glass at no extra cost. On top of that the guy was so nice he even made sure that the windows ability to go up and down was still functional because the window was broken in a way that glass shards couldve gotten into the mechanism and broken it. He literally spent an extra 1.5 hours just to make sure it was working properly and had no glass shards in it without charging me extra. If I had to replace it myself it wouldve cost $300 apparently. So yeah really quality service and pricing here.

I found myself with a broken rear window after a failed break in by New Yorks Finest Crooks. I called the shop and within a few minutes I received a call back that the glass for my particular model was in fact available. Within an hour I had my window repaired and was on my way. Highly recommended and I appreciate doing business with great people. Thank you!
The Best in Queens, maybe the entire state! Ordered my windshield factory OEM, and fit me the same day! Was done in 45 minutes. Mike and Dean, father and son, friendly and honest family business. Had my car window broken this morning and Bayside Auto Glass have it replaced within 40 minutes at a price thats the best in northern Queens. They vaccumed up all the loose glass inside the car and inside the door as well. My car isnt very common and this week is quite cold so very appreciative of their quick service.
I got thief break my rear door glass and I went to the shop,The glass cost 140 in third party,but they charge me labor fee for three hour,i got charge from the shop for 280 dollor,I can do this if I got the glass,they charge me 140 for 3 hour charge rear door glass,my friend told me and I also ask other shop and they told me only 1 hour they can finish the job and only 200 dollor,after I report to the insurance company they reimbursement for 1 hour, I only got 40 dollor from insurance company ,don t go this shop if you want pay more than other shop,and. Also they doing very bad job for cleaning glass piece,I also call the boss too for that job they ve done,but was very disappointed what the boss told me then I decide to write this review to give a shop one star, and I want other person to avoid this place!!
This review is long overdue and need to share my honest experience. About two or three years ago, had a 2011 Honda Cr-Z that needed a front windshield replaced. Bayside Auto Glass genuinely did a phenomenal job. Sold my Cr-Z months ago this year, 2023, but when I did sell it the front windshield was still in pristine condition. Now I own a Scion tC 2015 and will most definitely go to Bayside Auto Glass if Im looking for a reliable longstanding windshield replacement and install.
Worked with Dean to get my windshield replaced due to crack by rock. My car had HUD, rain sensor and lane departure radar so had to get a specific windshield but Dean was able to order next day. Brought my car in the next day and was fixed same day at a fair price. Dean was very professional, took time to explain everything and the prices unbeatable. In February, I went out of state to do business, and my car window was smashed. When I returned to New York, I was in a bad mood because I cherish my car very much. Fortunately, I found this car glass repair shop through a search. Because this shop is very close to our home, I went there and was very satisfied with the result. I went there very early that day because I wanted to get my car repaired quickly. The bosss son was very nice and he gave me a very good quote. Because I lived very close, he actually agreed to sent me home and when the car was repaired, he picked me up again. When I saw that my cars glass was repaired, I was very happy because he also helped me clean up the broken glass and my car looked exactly the same as before. Later, my friend told me that it was really a good price the important things is repaired my car well. Because I have been very busy and have no time to write a review, but I still want to write it because this is really a good store with good service and good prices, I hope to recommend this good shop to more people, and hope that more people can enjoy this kind of good service. This is a very pleasant car repair experience. Think about it, if your car is restored to new, it will be a very happy thing. The most important thing is that the price is very good. I m very thankful to the owner s son, and I m very happy to have such a good store in our community.
Really nice guys, they did a great job fixing my driver side glass window. Got charged an extra $50 because they said the regulator broke. Either way, very fair and reasonable pricing. Ended up paying $275 for a driver window replacement

I was told by the worker there early Monday morning, 4/8/24, that they do NOT do repairs, only replacements. This is different from what is advertised, and they did not inform me of that when I called Saturday. They simply told me that they will have to inspect the damage first.
GREAT EXPERIENCE!! I spoke to Dean over the phone and he gave me an estimate which was honestly about a $100 cheaper than safelite and and he ordered my glass when I arrived and about 1 hours later the job was completed. Extremely happy with how fast they got my window replaced. My glass was already factory tinted and he was able to locate it, which was very helpful. Thanks Dean.

I visited Bayside Auto Glass to get an estimate for a little crack on my front windshield. I spoke with Dean who was extremely nice. He actually was honest and told me that I shouldnt worry too much about the small crack in my window. Deans action speaks volumes of the honesty and integrity of Dean and Bayside Auto Glass. When time comes for me to really replace my windshield, Ill definitely visit Bayside Auto Glass again.

Despite being very busy I was walked outside to Dean who looked at my windshield and Sideview mirror & discovered it was damaged by some kind of polymer bomb which he quickly scraped off & assured me acetone would remove any residue. I tried in earnest to use this place, given they have some/mostly great reviews, but they were pretty unreasonable, rude, and dismissive over the phone. I kept getting cut off and talked down, and they flip flopped on a few of the answers. I always want to spend local, but it wont be here.
Worked with 2 Mikes one older and one younger. Both guys are great. I brought a somewhat rare car in for a new windshield and i thought it mighr take 2 or 3 days. They had in done in less than 5 hours.Good price.

My car was broken into and my entire front passenger window was smashed to pieces. I called Mike for a quote because the dealership (Acura - 2019 RDX) was trying to charge me over $800 and have me wait a few days but Mike was very reasonable and saw me within 24 hours on a Saturday. He explained the whole process to me (I ve never had to repair anything in my car before) and answered all my questions. Would definitely come back here if something like this ever happens again.

Someone smashed the rear window of our mini van and Auto Glass were able to repair it the next day. Other places would have to order the part. The other option was Safelite (since we really needed repair asap), but Auto Glass was more affordable and you re supporting a small local business. Dean was very kind and careful. It took around 1.5 hours. So pleased! Thank you!

I had a not so common car, they took the time to order it for me and have it installed flawlessly the next day. They moved stickers and ezpass to the new windshield as if nothing ever happened. Hope that I don t need them again, but if an auto glass cracks, I ll be coming back.

Needed to replace the windshield to my car. Called around for prices and availability. They were able to do it the same day vs two or three days at other locations. Safe lite quote was highest at over $500. This place did it for $225. Now this was no frills experience. No fancy waiting lounge with free coffee or snacks etc. in fact, I had to stay in the waiting area for the garage next door just to get out of the cold. Shout out to the garage next door who let me stay an hour past their closing so I wouldn t need to just stand outside in the freezing cold. Are you looking for a good price and willing to forsake the fancier parts of the other places? This is the place for you then. Tips for the owners, give some kind of receipt and warranty type information to people.

I brought my 2016 Rav 4 to Bayside Auto glass yesterday. A young man named Dean worked on the car. He did a great job. In addition to replacing the two side windows for a good price, he cleaned all of the broken glass from the car. Wow. He did not have to do that! Thank you, Dean. Had a cracked windshield on my jeep grand cherokee, filed the claim with insurance and went to the shop. Dropped off at 830, had it back at 1pm and all I had to do was give the claim number, thats it hassle free! And OEM parts too
Very efficient auto shop. Although it s small, but they replaced my FRS windshield perfectly about an hour. Better pricing than Safelite. Highly recommended.
Cheap price, quick install including transfer of registration and inspection sticker. However I waited a long time for the windshield to be delivered, the windshield is plastic, like Safelite. Unfortunately there are two melted spots that I thought were grease spots on the driver side which warp vision. Annoying, but for $200 and no other windshields in stock what am I going to do but deal with it.

Just had my cracked windshield replaced by Bayside Auto Glass. They did an excellent job. Price is half of what Safe Lite charges, but don t let that fool you. Bayside Auto does good quality work. They do same day appointments and the most important of all, they are honest. That is an important attribute which reveals good work ethics. I would definitely use them again if the need ever occurs.

Just got a side window installed due to car break-in this morning. They were very responsive to my call and took good care of it in 30 minutes. Everything was very smoothly done. I called a couple of other auto repairs for the price. Bayside Auto Glass offered 40 % lower than other repair shops. Im very satisfied with the service and the price.

These guys are good. They fixed my mirror in no time. While other places quoted 4-6 days turnaround, they had the manufacturer overnight the part from California, and the next afternoon I was driving again.

Windshield change was quick and fast. One thing I would suggest is an usage of adhesive for reattaching the registration and inspection stickers. They were barely hanging there when I got the car back.
