Great place, good people. They helped me through a frustrating situation. I would go here for all my car issues. Update 2024: This place must be under new management. I went there today due to my TPMS light being on and they told me I need all new 4 tires, and new brakes with rotors. $1700. I went to a different auto shop and all I needed was a wheel alignment. This is not honest business practice. I used to come here for all my car needs but not anymore. Update 2025: I used them again to buy tires. Everything went smoothly no issues. I m changing my review for them to 4 stars.

I ve been coming here for ten years and for a good reason. The service is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable. I work as a service advisor in a car dealership, so I know from whence I speak. If you go anywhere else, you ve gone to the wrong place.

Terrible service, they say they will fix ur tire & offer warranty, when comes time to honor the warranty they will bail or charge u, even though u followed the warranty guidelines

Younger guy in the front is exactly diligent & extremely helpful even when not knowing the precise issue with the vehicle. The other older guy is extremely arrogant, rude, & would rather have a measuring contest instead of trying to help.

Went to Auburndale Tire for a warranty on a Continental Tire. They said it would be a little difficult to do but CAN be done. They asked me to purchase a new tire and when the warranty claim comes through, Auburndale would be reimburse me. 8 weeks went by and after countless representatives and hours later. Continental tire states to me they never recv d my tire at all. No claim has been made and no warranty has been filed. I m currently out over $300+ dollars. After speaking to JUSTIN at the counter numerous times he states to me now that he has no idea where my tire is and I m out of luck. Justin has a big ego disguised behind subpar customer service and knowledge. Dont deal with him. Try and deal directly with owner or a manager. Dont deal with Justin. He speaks down to everyone he encounters. As of today 10 weeks now still no tire anywhere. Chargeback process started. This is the reason tire shops are known to be untrustworthy. Chargeback WON!!! Update as of July 4th 2024.

Professional, knowledgeable, and very trustworthy. My entire family has been going there for so many years not just for tires but for all of our mechanical car needs.

I know they are busy but they should provide their customers an honest time frame. didn t keep their promised time. When I came back to pick up our car at the informed time, they didn t even start the job yet When there were two empty spaces to work on. On top of that, their service was terrible. They did not apologize for more than an hour delay.

As a stereotypical female driver that knows absolutely nothing about cars, I ve definitely had a fair share with car shops that tried to take advantage of my lack of knowledge to make a quick buck. However, Auburn Tires & Auto Repair never made me feel like I was getting taken advantage of and treated me and my questions/concerns with respect. I wish I got the name of the manager that was helping me as he was extremely patient towards my concerns and when the team assessed my car and found nothing wrong, sent me on my way as no work needed to be done. I was extremely appreciative of the time they spent to look at everything. I ll definitely be coming back to get any work done in the future.

Got an inspection and they tried to get me to spend about 700+ dollars on 2 new tires and 1 brake rotor. All the brake rotor and pads are new. 1 tire is a bit old the rest are new. I went to a different shop and a they passed me. These people will try to scam you.

I have been going to Auburndale for about six years. Customer service is so bad it almost cannot be real. You can show up first thing in the morning when they open, stand at the reception desk waiting to be seen for twenty minutes. No one even comes out to inquire as to how they can help you. Nothing. Youre just standing there, like an idiot, and you wont know if anyone would EVER come out to the front desk to see what they can do for you. You have to walk into the bays to find someone, ANYONE, to even pay attention to you. They will also tell you anything to get you off the phone and into the shop. They will tell you that you will have a minimum wait if you come in. You rush over. Sorry, I dont know why the guy on the phone told you that, weve been packed all morning and there are eight cars ahead of you. Can you leave the car? My experiences with Auburndale over the last six years tell me that this level of incompetence, dishonesty and disorganization make me suspicious that I will be, or have been, scammed. I will never go to this shop again. Never.

SCAMMERS! Visited the shop a couple of days ago to do a NYS inspection. Took 40 mins for them to get to my car and then they told me the break pads are worn down so the car didnt pass inspection. They quoted me $800 to fix all the break pads but I knew there werent anything wrong so I turned it down. Went to a different shop this morning to do my inspection and it passed with flying colorings in 5 minutes. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!

They treat my wife and I with so much respect. They know what they re doing. They re popular so definitely make sure you have a way of getting around after dropping off your vehicle. Treat them with respect and they ll be your friend. So many of these negative reviews don t reflect any of the experiences I ve had that I can only imagine the attitude those customers came in with . Prices are fair, their tires are great, and they remember a familiar face and treat their regulars with respect.

an incomplete service I made the order for complete alignment with the spare parts for the rear wheels they gave me without seeing the alignment done and now I have to buy new tires and apart from the spare part that they supposedly had to place when I entered the workshop and now they want to charge me for new parts alignment and new tires is a disastrous service

This is the only place open on a Sunday, it saved me many times. The staff deal with such terrible people being the only ones open that theyve become a victim of their own success. Yet still, they smile and do what needs to be done and are nothing but respectful. Will continue to come here when needed.

Ive been here 3x. The second time was to redo their improper programming on the tpms. The third time is the last, because the service advisor (or owner or whatever he is) Jerry, rip-off customers. This is a shop that absolutely hates customers who bring their own parts! They will charge exorbitant amount on labor costs by increasing hour done to the car while they have it sitting somewhere. Otherwise, they would typically charge 3 to 5 times the price for parts bought there. Also, dont be surprised to see Check Engine Light days after you leave this place.

They deliberately sabotaged my vehicle. It has a quarter million miles on it and its never stalled. Brought it in for an ac freon charge and they said to come back monday because they have to check for leaks. Car stalled out twice and was shaking IMMEDIATELY after we drove it out of there ahop we came in with a vehicle that doesnt stall and drove out with a vehicle that does They naturally said that they didnt do anything Beeare of this

Always had great experience coming here. The staffs here have very great attitude. Had tire puncture patched here and a few inspection done, all went smoothly. Wait can be long so make sure to get there early and get in front of the line! It helps there are ample selection of restaurants, including the cafe, a ramen place, within a block and the very awesome Pho Che is right next door. Or you can just sit and wait at the front desk which has ample seating with tv.

Went in for an Inspection. Was told it would be 45min to an hour. Left my car and went home. After 2 hours I received a call that in order to pass inspection I needed to change 3 tires and get an oil change. I declined and said I m on my way to pick up my car. When I arrived they were too busy to even acknowledge me. After 10min one of the salesmen said they are getting my car now. After waiting another 30 minutes I asked where is my car and that I had to leave. Another salesman rudely said that my car is behind another car being worked on and that I need to be patient. I asked him what his name was and if he is the manager. He sarcastically replied Yes sure with a grin . Poor service as they really don t care about the customer. Obviously I m never going back as there are many other repair shops.

Destroyed my brand new rims I had for my challenger Real bad work here there worker got frustrated and dragged his tool across my rims If you are car owner with brand new rims definitely don t take wheels here better going off to intrack who will actually care even if you pay 40$ more 3000 rims all scuffed up because there workers could care less about them

If I could give zero stars I would. Dropped it off at 9 am for inspection and left across street to do some work at cafe. Guy said about 1.5 hour wait. At 11 I called and front desk said I was next. Went in personally at noon and they said I was next. Took my business elsewhere. Poor professionalism. Can t imagine how they are with anything complex.

Don t go there if you have flat tire, they don t fix flat tire, my tire was flat all the way, they said they had 6 more cars to do ( no flat )before anything else and told me just move my car away when I had flat all the way to the bottom, they didn t care. They are too lazy to fix just flat tire. I went to Pepboys and ended up changing all 4 tires but at least they were knowledgeable, attentive to customers and solved my problem. Stay away from this place if you have tire problem.

This place should close down. Their customer services sucks. you wait forever to get the job done that you are there for. i waited 4 hours for a flat tire to be changed. the shop was not busy at all to have a customer waiting 4 hours to change a flat tire. the staff have no sense of urgency. when i showed my anger about the 4 hour wait the young man there found it amusing. both my neighbors have had the same issues but they are old timers and wont waste their time writing a review. BUT I WILL...I will make it my goal to let this community know how unprofessional this place is.....

Please don t don t don t do inspection in this place, they will try their best to give some reason that they can t pass your inspection, and ask you to change some parts so they can make money. If you say you want go to somewhere else, they still charge you $35. Bad business practice in the town. If you see my review, go somewhere else. Very bad experience here!!!

FRAUD. If you have flat tire avoid this place, they make the hole bigger and trying to sell tire.

Went this morning for an issue with the tire and the key fob and they fixed both problems quickly. I never go anywhere else. Adrian and Victor were amazing.

I was in a tire disaster. I had a blowout on my car, and the dealership had to order a new rim so I had to use the doughnut. The next day I was pulling into my garage and I heard a hissing sound coming from the donut tire. I went to the gas station and started to fill it up But there was no pressure gauge to test how much air was in the tire. Not wanting to get stuck I drove down to Auburndale tire, which is a few blocks away. I can t say enough nice things on how they treated me. I waited about 10-15 minutes till someone was free and they came out to check the pressure. He noticed that there was a bend in the rim. Another gentleman was nice enough to go get a hammer and try to fix it which they did. I offered to pay and they said no worries. I am very grateful for their kindness and would recommend them 100x over. I will find a way to thank the staff tomorrow!

Its a waste of a star. Its a place to rip off the price for lies. Go somewhere else. The staff are soooooo rude and ignorant.

Good place to service your car. They are straight forward and upfront with pricing. It s a first come first serve place which makes things a bit complicated because they do take some time to get working on the cars. The best thing to do is to show up as soon as they open to get the car back fast. I take both of my cars here for a while now. The waits are looooong.

Scam prices . The bald headed clown is switching the prices left and right however it pleases him . U go in one day next day the price they charge changes

Placed a sticker on the car they can t remove and then blame the customer for the negligence. If you re looking for a shop to do your scheduled maintenance please look elsewhere as any issue they cause they will shift the blame on the consumer.

Saw workers moving cars in the side street as I was waiting for the light. Saw an employee reverse a customer s car into a parked car which left scratches on the left side bumper. They don t treat your car well here so I d never leave my car in their care for anything. Also I have it recorded on my dash cam

Did a great job on tires and service on my 2014 Subaru Foreater

First time and it was the worst experience ever, purchased a tire three weeks ago. The trend from the brand new tire came off on part of the tire. I call and explain was told come down and we will see what we can do, get here looks at the tire and quotes me a price for another brand new tire. Has a warranty for 40000 miles but not for road hazard its a defective item, I am told sorry can help and was turned away. So much for good customer service and for quality of your tires and service. Will recommend all my fellow mta workers, friends and family never go to this place. Will be placing a complaint with better business bureau.

Horrible experience. Went to take my car to wheel alignment. At 7:30am .Tech saw the car said I can do it 100% even though it was low . Waited Till 9:30 and then the tech says I can t do the car anymore. You need to raise it because it s low, I asked if he can raise it but they won t even give me a price to raise the vehicle. Then says I need to leave it, but they won t even provide a price. Ridiculous, a joke of a business. Please take your business somewhere else if you have a low car . Intrack tires, took my car in the same day. No issues.

Feeling concerned, its been over 2 hours for car inspection. Couple folks recommended this place for fast inspection while u wait. My car is 2019, 6000 miles. It was jus inspected couple months early but have to redo because new registration from my fathers name to mine because he passed away... I really hope they call soon, not sure if this is normal...its been 3 hours, no call from them, I walk back n find out my car doesnt need to be reinspected, I asked least 3 times will or can I get a ticket and he said no because vin number matches car. Keeping this as my proof, I did all I was suppose to or at least tried to. They were nice to tell me I didnt need one unnecessarily, jus wished Id known sooner, wouldnt have wasted the time

Got an alignment done at this shop. And it was horrible. Told them to fix my rear wheel toe specs after they did the alignment. They refused to fix it and still charged me the same price. Dont go there for alignment!!!

I had a great experience with Prince and Singh. I called and asked if they had Continental Contact 4x4 255/50R 19 107V thats the tire my Range Rover Sport HSE came with and I also asked if they would install and speed balance them. You see 6 days earlier I had gotten tires from my Jaguar land rover dealership which were bought as new yet they were not. I had been given 6 year old tires at the Dealership.The tires Land Rover put on my car were so bad that they had to Armorall them to be presentable, they also were incorrectly balanced which is how I came to look closely at the tires where I discovered the age (DOT CODE )and condition of the tirrs as well as the incorrect size from Jaguar Land Rover. AUBURNDALE Tires ordered new tires for me and in the morning I was getting the correct size and manufacturer along with a new DOT manufacture date on the tires. The tires from AUBURNDALE were correctly balanced and installed.Now once again my Luxury truck drives like it should. I recommend these guys. I was treated fair and received excellent service. This autoshop is the best auto shop in the world. They took 2 days to fix my tire and just to check what is wrong with our car it only takes 3 days. Literally the best auto shop ever.

I went for an oil change which took hours but no big deal. The issue Ive is they actually charges more than the dealership which is a shocker. People usually avoids dealership cause of their up charges but I ended up paying few dollars more here compared to the cost at the dealership. I will stick to my dealership for oil changes going forward.

horrible experience. they charge you extra for services that they didnt do. make sure you double check your invoice. they replace / repair without asking you first and if you tell them you didnt want to replace / repair, they say theres nothing they can do and cant give you money back. I complaint about the extra charge and the front guy was swearing at me and threaten me that i will be blacklisted. not that i wanted ever go back. there were two other customers that complaining about the same thing the same I was in the service. i wish i can give negative rating if i can.

Good customer service. Quick and easy oil change. However, they DO NOT print written reports for car inspections upon request. Only when the DMV report is due. I went to get an inspection & report before selling my car and they could not print anything for me to show that the car was inspected.

what a waste of time. Went to a get a new tire, stated that it was in stock, and that it could be done now. waited an hour and half for nothing so I left. Workers are just talking, chatting, laughing without any work being done. Read all the negative reviews because its true.

I highly recommend Auburndale Tires. The service is prompt, and they will keep you informed through the whole process. I brought my 2018 Ford Fusion there because the tires needed replacing, and I was sure the dealership had been less than truthful about the condition of the car. (Dont judge: we had to replace the car fast after that flash storm in 2021, and used cars in the NYC area were hard to find!) Auburndale had been great at tuning up our (now drowned) car, so I felt confident about the service. They called me regularly to outline the issues (all of which I expected), and to offer me the cost estimates. They also told me that one of my concerns (slightly rough engine during certain circumstances) was more about the size of the engine rather than an equipment issue. Cost estimates were provided each step of the way, and they waited for me to say yes before adding the service and charging me . The cat runs great, I feel safer driving it, and I thank Auburndale for their excellent work.

To keep this short, I feel they overcharged me on parts by over 260% and agreed to send me a wheel balance report and never did. Not sending the computerized wheel alignment report suggests that the service was never performed. The only positive experience was their courteous staff; so I feel I was courteously ripped off.

They always remember you & you feel like you re family at this shop. It is organized & all the cars flow thru the work shop seamlessly. A ride home is always given Frank at the desk is the best. Waited for a 30 minute six people walking around with no help very bad service will not recommend

I bought a set of winter tires from this shop and the front desk team was very professional. However the team that does the work in the back were anything but. I brought in a brand new 22 Jeep Grand Cherokee and they did not put the vehicle in jack mode before lifting it. When I asked them about it the guy said thats only for Mercedes and BMW which wasnt true, my vehicle is equipt with an adjustable air suspension they absolutely had to put it in jack mode. They also broke one of the tire sensors and replaced it with a tire sensor that would not connect properly to the tire pressure sensor system. And when I got the car back there was glue all over the wheels and I had to spend like 20 minutes cleaning it off. In their defense, as I said the people at the front desk were professional, and they did split the cost of what I was charged when I had to go to the dealership to replace the sensor and get the air suspension checked out. But honestly I wouldnt go back.

Its not unusual to bring a vehicle in for a single tire change. Its unusual that its so expensive and you have to wait for 2 hours and still dont get the tire changed. Nice people who move really slow and dont care about your time. Have to go to another garage and hope this gets done today somehow. Wasted my time and thankfully didnt get my money

Not the best experience. I went to get my tire plugged and some of the staff are laughing and joking; which is ok that wasnt my problem. The problem was when I was finally serviced. A guy came out and took my car around the block before he plugged the tire. I went inside to ask what the reasoning was for this. The guy who was taking care of me told him to take the car to the back entrance or something. Hey dude, how about telling the owner the situation? Then after the repair, he drove it around the corner again. I asked why again and I was told he was getting a message to come off the screen about the tire. Well guys, communication is key. Try telling the customer what is going on.

Came to do alignment didn t do the properly charge. The money came back next day. Tell him the car is going to the left . They took a car for the road with out me Mechanic drove around said it s ok I want to come with him that can show him the car going left.refuse yell at me, and I have no choice to leave from my experience. I suggest you to find some. Other shop because when you re paying, you re supposed to get some service not get ripped off.

On my way home from work I noticed my tire pressure rapidly declining. I showed up here around 5:45pm on a Wednesday night. I told them the situation and they stated it was no problem it would be done soon. They were very efficient with taking my information and keys. Within 15 minutes my tire was plugged and cost me $20. They were quick and professional, along with being very friendly and having a comfortable waiting space. Couldn t have been a better experience!

dont go here for your alignment takes forever just go to firestone or a major company. car already misaligned after 600 miles and a month and a half and tells me they cant do anything about it. Update I did return on Friday but the person there told me it was passed 1 month so I left and thus wrote this review. I even called the previous day. Just go to a different shop and dont bother with this place. And I dont believe they called me.

I have had a very bad experience at this place several times. First, I took my Land Rover for some suspension work. This guy named Justin who works there gave me an absurd high price for the work. Therefore, I decided to go to an actual professional Land Rover mechanic and actually I got a better price of the suspension work for my Land Rover. Justin just gives prices from behind his desk based on a computer screen data. I bet he doesn t even know the actual mechanic work that needs to be done. Also, I took my Porsche to this place since it wouldn t turn on. They told me they would be able to do the work. However, they didn t. My Porsche car was sitting there for about 3 weeks and no result from them came back. All they said was oh some reset needs to be done . They just spoke but no work was done. In fact, while the car was sitting there they just worsen my vehicle. I had no other choice but to take the car to another mechanic. Honestly, they WASTED MY TIME. I had my other car taken to this place my Avalanche Truck. This time they did the work but without returning all the screws and plastic properly as how it was in my truck. I noticed that when I got home. Then, I called Justin and he said to bring it back but like usual when I get there he disappears apparently he s at lunch break . I had to come back and forth so that they can do the job properly. They take a whole day to work on the car. Other times, they have given me a bad and inaccurate response to the work that needs to be done to the car. Overall, when they see a problem or issue they don t even look or talk about it. I do not recommend this place. Some of them work fine other don t. They just work best at just inflating, putting tires on and brakes. Gave a review so that probably they can get better mechanic workers.

This place is horrible HORRIBLE! NEVER COME BACK! Workers are very RUDE and OVERCHARGED. I had the misfortune of running over a bolt which punctured my tire at 4pm on Thanksgiving. This place was one of the few shops open and the only one where someone actually picked up the phone. The guy who answered was friendly and honest about not being sure if they could fix it that evening, but said I could bring the car in anyway. When I got there I was pleasantly surprised the same guy who answered the phone immediately came out to greet me. He checked the tire with the other mechanic and they got to work plugging the hole, even refilling the air on all my tires afterwards, not just the punctured one! The whole thing was done in 15 minutes and for a very reasonable price. Couldn t be more thankful. Highly recommend! Thank you so much for being open on Thanksgiving!!

Parking is a bit tight, but still not a bad place, good service. ++ Went back again, because I came out one morning to a flat tire before work, couldnt make it there until until after work, like 5pm and they got me in and out in an hour; they sealed the tire and they were very (as always) professional.

The guy named eddie shouted at us when we mistakenly entered the shop with our car as it was our first time visiting the shop and there was no signs or guidance. Although we didn t react to his spazzing and just complied, you should be aware that he needs to calm down when the customers make mistakes. Lack of professionalism. The engineers did the job very nicely tho.

*in response to owners comment* the service was good, you guys took care of the nail in my tire quickly and efficiently. In fact i think i may come again if i have another tire related issue, I only knocked off a star was because the staff were not wearing masks during the current Covid 19 situation. While i could understand while working on the cars by themselves persons may not wear masks, sitting at the front desk with strangers coming in and out may put the people at the front desk at risk.

Sunny and his team are real professional s. They gave me the best deal on tires from the get go and treated my car like their own. I highly recommend them.

Went here for front tires balancing. they said they did it and charged me but when I checked next day, there was NO balancing weights inside the wheels, but they still charged me for it. wont refund my money back unless i go back and waste more time.

This place was beyond helpful and absolutely went above and beyond to help me during an unexpected emergency situation. I had a flat tire which seemed to have been slashed and was able to get to get intouch with Auburndale tire. Who quickly assesed by my spare donut tire I had in my trunk and had placed on my tire until; I had called everywhere possible within a 20 mile location and they were the only shop to have the EXACT tire i needed and were willing to have me come in immediately, no appointment needed and priced it way cheaper than any other place I had called. Justin and paul went above and beyond to help me. I would without a doubt no hesitation recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone. They are one of a kind and customer service is unbelievably surpassed my personal expectation. Thank you Auburndale tires & auto repair!!!!!! You saved a horrible day and situation within 30 minutes.

Professional men

Went there for a car inspections, the person that was on the counter helping customer told me that my car cant pass due to the tinted window, and charged me 300$ extra to remove it. But the facts is the window i had is from manufacture and is not tinted at all, and they also remove the ones on the backseat. I found out that is legal to have tinted window on the back seat. Anyway this place will try to scam you. Becareful

Professionalism and courtesy defined. If you need a oil change, inspection, or flat tire fixed this is a great place! Its first come first serve so try to come early since they are usually busy. You can leave your car or wait while they work on it.

The staff here helped me tremendously on a Sunday. I had a flat tire that needed replacement for two days straight, I went to Pep Boys expecting one tire to be replaced in an hour. The Pep Boys mechanic said he could replace 2 tires for me but then he called me back 10 minutes later and said there was a computer error, the 2 tires are not in stock. I would like to add finding parking space near Pep Boys is not easy on busy Northern Blvd and near residential areas where there is limited parking. Fortunately on my way walking back to Pep Boys to pick up my car, I found Auburndale Tires and they were a godsend! Parking was very easy, in total, it took only 30 minutes to get my tire replaced. The actual tire replacement probably took only 5 minutes. Thank you so much Auburndale Tires!

They fixed up my tire quick! The prices were reasonable as well.

They took advantage of me because they thought I couldnt speak English. Overcharged me for a flat and I had to take it because I was in a rush to get my wife and had no other options at the time. Everyone gave me a nasty look, didnt even feel welcomed

Got an oil change from here, only to realize that now my brakes are messed up.. Complained to them that the brakes are now making a squeaky noise, but they all came up to me and started telling me that they didnt do anything, definitely felt attacked at the fact that they wouldnt even let me explain myself.

now im not too technical with the car stuff but they told me that there was something wrong with my radiator and I needed to fix it asap.. paid a ridiculous amount of money when I only wanted a tire rotation...
