Our car broke down on our way to Albany to Plattsburgh. They were recommended to us. They got our car fixed and back to us within a few hours. The receptionist and mechanics were really nice.

Fast, affordable, friendly

Amazing folks. Our car broke down while passing through town on vacation. I had AAA tow us to the local dealership, which was a mistake as they wouldnt even look at our car until the next day. The AAA driver heard this, loaded the car back on the truck, made a phone call, and brought us to CJs. The issue was quickly diagnosed, but required an obscure part. The owner personally drove all around creation to find the part, they got it back together and we were on our way. They only charged us for the labor of actually repairing the car, not the part search. I wish there was a shop near me with half this honesty and integrity! Thank you CJs!

What HASNT been replaced in my car by CJs?? These days it is nearly impossible to find an honest mechanic who is as compassionate, honest and as meticulous as Jerry - he uses top of the line parts yet charges the average or lower costs for repairs and cuts a break where he can. If Jerry is doing the work, it s because it needs to be done. He was an absolute god sent fixing my car when I barely had any cash due to closing on a house the next week. Would rate higher than 5 stars if I could - I will never use another mechanic other than Jerry!!

SNe day service...polite and professional

My check engine light had been coming on and off sporadically because of a random misfire. I took it to CJ s to have the problem diagnosed and fixed. They test drove it and ran diagnostics on it and ultimately determined that the spark plugs were good, the motor was getting the right air/fuel ratio and there wasn t an EVAP problem. They rebooted the system and advised that I just keep an eye on it, and if started to do it again to bring it right back. Knock on wood, it hasn t happened again. Other mechanics would have just started replacing parts and not taking the time that they did. The best auto service I ve ever received! I will definitely be going back there for all my service needs!!!

We ve been taking our cars here for a few years now. They are friendly, have good prices, and do top notch work - fast. They take no shortcuts and do everything right.

CJ s is amazing. Absolutely love these guys. They have handled all my automotive needs for the past three years and I couldn t be more pleased. Prompt, accommodating, fair pricing, I even just brought in my 2000 Tundra with a cracked radiator and they knocked it out in ONE DAY! Jerry is the man and if I could give a million stars I would.

They where very helpful, even thou they did not have time to fix my car. Got me the number of a car dealer ship. They even took a look at my car. They did not know me I do not live in the area. So they went above and beyond.

Took our Tacoma and Sonata in for servicing over the last couple of weeks to CJs for the first time. Very professional in their approach, scheduling, phone responsiveness and were very detailed about explaining costs -- the truck needed the entire AC system replaced and they provided options and were happy to talk about implications of the choices. We feel good about giving them our trust and they are now our go to car repair shop.

Jerry, Linda, Mike and the rest of the staff at CJs Automotive check off all of those boxes! They have worked on my delivery trucks and my personal vehicles for years. Cheapest hourly labor rate around saratoga area, amazing customer service, I even stopped in while driving because I had my daughter in the car and was scared something was seriously wrong, they looked at my car and even checked other things they didnt have to (I did get lucky because they had the time), but they really care, are honest, family owned, and didnt even charge me because I was just so concerned (not saying they can do that all the time), but I will refer them to anyone I know.

I cannot express how professional and friendly the staff at CJs is! Probably the best experience at a mechanic Ive ever had. I had a coolant issue in my van, and was heading to NYC for new years from Lake Placid. Jerry and his team saw me first thing in the morning and brought my van straight in. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and he had my van fixed in under 2 hours, saving me from having to be stuck on the road and I was able to make it to my destination. 100% recommend CJs for any issue you may have, they really care about the customer here.

Ive been looking for a new mechanic for a while now, having moved frequent over the last few years, but now the search is over. I was given an explanation of everything wrong with my vehicle and what was being done to test out the problems. Car was fixed perfectly and cost to me was kept to a minimum. Will be going back for all my vehicle service needs.

I had a rear brake job done here costing nearly $2000. Months later when it came time for inspection (at a different garage) , I was told the emergency brake was not functioning. Upon further inspection, the mechanic found a pair or pliers left from the brake job holding the emergency brake cable and it had since weathered and frayed from not being properly attached. This is the equivalent of a surgeon leaving their instruments in a persons body. This error is now costing me another $300 to repair. I was referred here after an accident, and got completely taken advantage of.

Very Honest People! Great Prices and Excellent Service!

First time customer last week with CJs Automotive. Had my car towed there with AAA after my radiator/coolant hoses had rusted through. Not only did they call me the day of to let me know their findings, but the quoted price was very competitive and they fully explained what had happened to my car so that I could truly understand it and in the future better look out for this instance again. The expected time frame was the next day and sure enough my car was road-ready that day with the hoses replaced, new coolant added and car had been test driven by the garage as well! Not only that, but the total due was even less than the initially quoted price! As a bonus, they tweaked my heating too; which was greatly appreciated since we just started getting snow. I would highly recommend CJs automotive to anyone in the area. They are very informative, provide great service with competitive prices and they do not try to up-sell you on anything that you dont actually need. They will be my go-to auto shop for as long as I am living in the area and I will be sending friends and family their way as well! VERY impressed customer!

I have been dealing with CJs for our fleet vehicles for a while and when my personal vehicle needed repair I decided to give them a shot. The work has been done as stated and at or below the quoted price. Each time they have serviced my (old) truck, it has been ready that day without a hitch and often times a little extra has been done to make my vehicle a little better.
