They are so expensive. I was charged over a hundred dollar for a car that barely was even there for a few hours on top of that. It costed Three hundred dollar just to towed the car. Like thats ridiculous on top of the fact that you gotta wait until someone comes to the lot to give you your car.

Ive had poor experiences with some roadside services in the past, had a 6-hour wait in Pennsylvania once while the dispatcher assured me many times we have someone on the way, they should be with you soon. Ive met a few of the staff, theyre acumenical, courteous and professional. As far as I can say theyre one of the best in the area, and theyve been around the block, would recommend.

Definitely use them for lockouts theyre kind pretty good at it took less than 10 min once arrived and charged a reasonable price for the situation when Ive had others gouge.

Holy moly, what an adventure! Im new to the state of NY and had a mishap with my vehicle. I assumed it was power related and contacted roadside assistance via Gieco. Christian came thru in record time and not only that, helped me out with could have been a multi hundred dollar if not thousand dollar mechanic bill by trouble shooting and being the smart dude that he is! Very fast service. I needed a tow for my vehicle that my son was driving on Ft Drum. They had access to post and got my vehicle towed within a half hour of giving them the address of where it was located. Im very pleased at how efficient it was especially with me being several hundreds of miles away.

This company is absolutely amazing I wouldnt recommend another towing company. These guys have been there for me when things were tight and rough they are very easy to work with. All around absolutely wonderful when I needed fuel for a doctors appointment until I got paid and they helped me out. I would 100% recommend roadside warriors I got stranded in Copenhagen NY with car trouble and little to no cell service every staff member I spoke with was extremely kind and caring everytime I lost service and had to call back and never once sounded annoyed when I called to check on the status of the tow truck, when the driver arrived he was kind and courteous even went so far as to getting down on the ground to look under my car to see of there was anything visable, I will always reccomend them and request them if I ever need service up that way again!!

This is my first experience using Roadside Warriors. I called AAA for a tow to my mechanics shop. Shortly after my call, Loren came and hooked up my car, secured it, and was ready to go in about 5 - 10 minutes. He was very friendly and courteous.

On a fun trip to Watertown, my friend lily s tire popped and we were stuck on the side of the road. We called AAA and they were little to no help. He changed our tire quickly and when he saw we were low on air, he immediately called a near by auto repair to fill our tires up to be good to go. He told the vehicle that I couldnt get it out the same day because the lady was not there had to wait till Monday got the vehicle towed on Saturday I had to pay for storage for the two days when I went to pay it the lady was still not there but they let me pay and get the truck out so basically they robbed me for 2 days

I called a couple of places to check prices (which were all essentially the same), but I picked Road Warriors because they were 1. not expensive and 2. had excellent customer service over the phone. If anyone ever needs a tow service, this company is amazing and I just want to share why. My truck stopped working while I was out with my one year old son. I was literally stranded there since my husband is deployed and im by myself here. I was so stressed and felt helpless I broke down in tears when they came to get my truck. When I told him I didnt have a way back he got on his phone. Justin the man then who was working called his supervisor to ask if he was allowed to drive me back home since they usually arent allowed to and they allowed him to help us. He not only drove us home safely, he also carried my sons car seat and unloaded my truck with the furniture I had just bought and carried everything to my door. There are amazing people who work at this company and if you ever are in need they are the people to go to for towing services.

Definitely recommend Roadside Warriors. Scheduled them for a tow as my car wouldn t start. Originally was going to have it towed to the dealer but ended up having it towed to their shop instead. Stephen, my tow truck driver, was on time, hooked up quickly and was polite and professional. Nick, the technician had my car looked at the next day and fixed for a reasonable price. Would use them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

They towed my car when I had a flat tire. Driver wasnt a douchebag. Service provided matched my expectations, no attempt to harvest my kidneys. Zero complaints.

I cannot say how impressed we were with this company and the service we received. Out last couple experiences with tow trucks were awful and we were worried when he didn t pull up with a flatbed. We were so impressed by the rig they had to support the back wheels, gus quick thinking, his adaptability, his problem solving, and most importantly his ability to get on a military base. Super glad that this was the company AAA sent out today.

You should really let your driver know to stay off his cell phone, he almost just smashed into my truck turning onto teals road because he didn t notice I was coming onto the stop sign. RIDICULOUS.

Amazing service! For the second time in two years I have had the pleasure of meeting Crossman towing personal. Both times due to mechanical failure of the vehicle. Both times as my day was going terribly the service tech was nice and polite, which helped a lot. The second time the guy even cleaned up all the oil my car spilled. I know no one wants to calling a towing company but if you have to call, call crossman.

I ve had issues getting my car towed before. Especially when they know you are stuck and getting paid by your insurance company. Not with this company. They responded to my need for a tow with lightning speed. The driver, I believe his name was joe was courteous, professional, and handled my car with great care. I saved their information and use them whenever I have car trouble.

So, about a year ago, I gave these guys a 1-star review over some unpleasantness we had regarding my jeep and follow-up interactions. I had not planned on ever using them again. So when I broke down attempting to tow said jeep myself, I was immediately alarmed to be told my insurance company was sending Crossman to my aid. The guy that came was very professional and courteous. The insurance people told him the wrong type of vehicle, so he had to call in a bigger truck and that second dude was also great. If he recognized my name or our prior spat, he gave no indication of it and was straightforward, polite and proficient. They towed BOTH of my vehicles and saved my ass. In all, it was a very different experience. I only gave them 4 stars due to my first encounter with them last year, but this was definitely a 5-star day. Thanks, guys.

Wow! Traveling from out of town with my Ram 3500 and a 24ft enclosed car trailer 700mi from home my Ram broke down on the side of the highway. My roadside service couldn t have dispatched anyone better for the job or a better personality for the stressful situation. The owner showed up personally, quickly, and made a recommendation of someone who could probably fix my truck quicker than the local dealership. They did and at a great price. A couple hundred dollars later and my turbo was alive again so I could continue my trip the same day. After dropping my truck off at the shop the owner tossed me the keys to one of HIS trucks so I could go get my trailer off the side of the highway and insisted I bring it back and keep it at his secured lot free of charge. People like this restore your confidence in humanity and from one business owner to another I appreciate how much of himself he puts into wanting his clients to be taken care of... He just wants to help...and help he does. Reading some of these other reviews it s clear some just don t take any responsibility for anything and are just plain unreasonable. Make no mistake if you need towing assistance while in this area...Crossman Towing and Recovery is who you want to rescue you. Top notch!

I ran into some car troubles that needed towing and AAA sent Crossman Towing to me. The experience and service I received were so far above normal standards. Not only was everything timely and pleasant but the owner himself went above and beyond to help me out. With my car being left inoperable due to a leaking water pump housing, he gave me the keys to one of his own vehicles after bringing me to a local repair shop. I was honestly shocked at the generosity and kindness of that act which to him seemed to be the most normal of gestures. My car ended up needing to be towed again to the dealership and this time he made a point of walking into the dealership with me to discuss my car with them. It meant a lot as dealing with cars can sometimes be overwhelming if youre not well versed in mechanics, pricing, etc, so having had someone effectively guide me through the process was beyond helpful. Hands down the best experience Ive ever had with a business and could not recommend them enough!!

We needed help getting our camper dislodged from its sunken in spot. They came within an hour and were able to use their wench to help give us the extra pull that we needed. Cant say thank you enough for the fast response on an early Saturday morning.

The alternator on my car failed way out in rural upstate. Crossmans drove the 50 miles to me and correctly hooked up my awd car for a tow. Joe was great to chat with on the ride back. When I mentioned bringing the car to a dealer for repairs, Joe suggested Georges Auto Repair instead- who was ready to fix my car at 8pm had the parts store been open. 5 stars for the timely tow, helping to fix an insurance overbilling mistake, and the recommendation to Georges.

Today was literally the worst snow storm I have seen in my life and I am a native New Yorker so that s saying something haha I had tried to get off an exit and missed it because it was completely covered in snow and when I overcorrected I ended up in a snow bank four feet deep. We had tried digging ourselves out with no luck and I don t blame anyone for not wanting to stop and help us out. We ended up flagging down a tow truck and he told us he would only help us out of the ditch if we paid him $125 which we did not have on us at the time. Not even two minutes later a Crossman driver rolled up and got us out of that bank in less than a minute free of charge! Dude seriously was a miracle worker and I can t even imagine what would have happened had we been stuck there in such dangerous conditions any longer I would definitely recommend Crossman Towing and Recovery and will certainly call them up next time I m in need of help, hands down!

Driver was rude. Made a big deal about wanting to follow since I didnt know the location of the drop off. Proceeded to lock the car and give the keys to I dont know who. Still cant find the person. Was also two hours early. Showed up at 0630.

My experience with Crossman Towing was exceptional. The front tire came off my truck and I was stranded on the the side of the road. It took the driver maybe 15 minuets to show up on a Saturday. The driver quickly loaded my truck, and had a recommendation for a local shop. After unloading my truck at Crossman Towing, I learned that my insurance wouldnt cover the damages. The driver had to load my truck back on the tow truck and take it to a shop. During the process of dealing with my insurance, deciding what to do with my truck, and deciding where to take it, the driver remained patient, helpful and professional. The affordability, responsiveness, and professionalism was outstanding. If your in the unfortunate situation that you need a tow, save yourself the extra stress and call Crossman Towing and Recovery.

This company towed my boyfriends truck illegally. I do this for a living in another state. Waiting for boyfriend during a layover on a flight, I call to talk to a dispatcher. I ask about new York statutes, inquiring as to whether he has proof that the company complied. He forces a laugh and says something snide like, oh so youre trying to go the legal route... I realize Im getting nowhere and hang up. Minutes later my boyfriend gets his truck back for no charge after contacting his landlord regarding the reason for the tow. Go ahead and keep acting self-righteous though. So cute. For your Info, crossman, NY statute requires the following: No owner or operator of parking facilities on private property shall tow or cause to be towed from such private property any motor vehicle unless such owner or operator shall conspicuously post and maintain upon such private property a sign stating the name, address and telephone number of the tow operator, the hours of operation for vehicle redemption, towing and storage fees of the tow operator and the hours vehicles are prohibited from parking and subject to tow. There are no signs posted anywhere regarding towing, conspicuous or otherwise. So yeah, Im super glad you decided to do the property owner a favor and give the illegally towed car back at no cost for his benefit, but for YOUR benefit as business yall should probably get compliant with local law. Full disclosure: the laws I am citing are dated circa 2006 but I havent found data showing the laws have been altered since. If Im missing legislation I would like to know about it and revise my statement, but as it stands this shady company is doing some shady work.

Well today I was at walmart with my 3 and 4 year old children and Joseph Crossman the owner was towing someone from walmart he had the parking lot blocked and we waited for him to move we had came to a complete stop for over ten minutes when he cleared the lane we drove around him and parked a couple rows away to avoid him mainly because he was yelling at his employee who looked like he was no more then 18 felt bad for the kid and didnt want my children to hear it so we parked three rows over this guy mind you is huge he is about 6-4 and probably 275 he runs all the way to my vehicle before I could even get out and demands I fight him in the parking lot cause he didnt like how fast I drove around him well thats too bad how fast I drove around him and honestly it wasnt very fast we were stopped completely either way he made my two children cry cause they were scared and continued to call me a coward in the parking lot cause I wouldnt put my kids back in the car in 90 degree heat and fight him and of course he wants to fight he is ex military and in the strongman competition every year and is double my weight and size unreal he endangered the welfare of my children and is beyond unprofessional do not call this guy for work who knows who will be his next victim

Crossman towing is the place to call if you need to tow your vehicle. My tahoe wont start in my driveway and called my insurance for towing. My insurance recommend Crossman towing so I called Crossman and get there timely. He tried to start the car with jumper cable before towing the car in case its just the battery needed a charge. But the car did not start with the jumper cable so he brought my car to the shop then called me to give direction where the shop were as it was in the middle of nowhere. The owner was very professional and ensures good service to his costumer is provided. I highly recommend Crossman towing.

This is the 3rd time I had my car towed this year (dead battery, lost key and broken stabilizer arm). Jordan showed up each time in 5 to 15 minutes. One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a tow company. After my insurance company scheduled my tow and advised me to pay my remaining balance at his place of business. I went online to find the address for this company and came up a home address. Being that this is my only option to pay my bill I went to the address that Google gave me for this company. I tried to explain that I needed to pay a bill for a tow. I was swore at and yelled at for even going there. I felt very threatened and after the door was slammed in my face he then called my home and screamed at my wife threatened her and made her feel very unsafe. I will be going much further with this. I will be contacting b.b.b. this week and informing them. I would never recommend this company to anyone ever.

Crossman towing is the best tow service in Watertown. Dont even bother going to anyone else. He does a great job and he is very effiecient and fast. Great guy and very personable. If you think otherwise then youre an idiot.

Best towing company I have ever dealt with - hands down! They arrived well before the ETA (even beat me back to the disabled vehicle), waited (patiently) for me to arrive back with the key, accommodated our situation, worked so quickly it was if I blinked and the job was done, and, most notably, was a friendly, smiling face despite it being a bizarre hour. I will always request Crossman Towing in any and all future tow/roadside needs!

Just got a flat tire here in Watertown and needed to be towed due to a flat spare and a half inch hole that couldnt be patched. The driver called me not even 2 minutes after I hung up with my roadside assistance to make sure he knew exactly where I was. He got to me faster than any tow truck I have ever used in the past. The driver was fast, personable and professional. Hands down this was the best experience I have ever had with a towing company. The driver even said if mavis is closed we will get you squared away, dont worry. I highly recommend Crossman towing and recovery, if your in a bind they will absolutely help you out.
