Friendly staff, nice work environment from what I saw. Work was done quicker than expected and came in under budget.

Brought my vehicle here for front end damage repair, and they did a fantastic job, car looks great and they were very courteous and helpful through out the process. They worked directly with the insurance company so it was a great painless experience. Highly recommend.

Seeing some of the work they did on a 68 Charger near the rear quarters its a lot of water and rust under that paint not too impressed Actually I dont even want to rate them maybe a -2 otherwise I seen a truck that was painted 30 years ago still looks as good as the day they painted it Im not going to mention any names but I was impressed in that.

I came to TACS for collision repair which also required re-paint with a custom color. My car looked brand new after. They finished faster than was planned, were professional and communicated during the process. They definitely care about their customers.

They do not run their business with only making money in their mind (although that s okay too obviously) but they go above and beyond to help you. They ve literally helped me figure out what to do with another business instead of bad mouthing them or trying to get me to come to them. They took care of me when I had a car accident. Cannot recommend them enough.

We sent our car to TACS after hitting a deer and they were great to work with every step of the way. Despite significant damage, the car came back looking like new and in better condition than pre-collision thanks to the cleaning they gave it (seems like they even found the Cheerios out 4 year old hid throughout the seats). Part delays kept the car in the shop for a while (thanks Covid) but TACS provided regular updates and even covered a gap in rental coverage without being asked. Will be using them again and would absolutely recommend.

We are new to the area, so when we needed some minor body work on our van, I just searched online for body shops near me and chose TACS honestly just because their website looked like they were a very professional business. We didn t know anything else about them. Sure enough, they are pros. Everything about TACS was EXCELLENT! And as the parents of 2 little kids, it was a very welcomed and appreciated surprise to find that the van was even cleaner inside when we picked it up than it was when we dropped it off! We may be new to the area, but now we have a body shop to recommend.

My car was broadsided by a deer. I was 5 miles from TACS and I had a good experience with them in the past so I had my car towed there. I am impressed by their new facility. They were professional, caring, and called to let me know what to expect every step of the process. It was 2 weeks from the time of the accident until I picked up my car. That is definitely timely. The body work is superior. My car looks brand new. Youd never know that it had been hit. They must have detailed the interior before giving it back to me because it looked clean and polished inside. Chris, the Office Manager, was great as were all of the employees I had contact with. I highly recommend TACS to anyone for heir automotive needs.

Two body shop experiences with TACS. Beautiful work both times. One time insurance paid (hit a deer), and all the paperwork and communications were very smooth. Also, no issues at all when I paid for minor damage on my own. Very satisfied with TACS all around.

I had some work done on one of my cars with this business. These guys are great. Took care of all my concerns and at a reasonable pricing. Everything was explained and as to why it needed to be done. They will not suggest any thing that you will not need to have done. No high pressure sales, and a very friendly atmosphere. I did not know that they offered as many services as they did, thought they only did collision repair. Not at all, they do almost everything you need to repair or service your vehicle. I will be going to them as my vehicle repairs are needed.

I was only here for insurance photos of my vehicle, but the staff was fun and helpful!

The best around!!! My wife had an accident (hit and run) they went above and beyond to explain everything in detail and what steps were going to happen and in what order. TACS was a lifesaver when I moved to the area! I went to the Kia Dealership when my radio went out, and they quoted me $700 to fix the radio and told me my car needed over $1000 of maintenance work. I got the sense they were trying to screw me over since I am a young woman, so I left and took my car to TACS. They installed an aftermarket radio for me and confirmed that 3 out of the 4 maintenance items the dealership suggested were unnecessary. They took care of my radio and brakes the same day and were so kind and fun to talk to while I hung out in the waiting room. I live in Troy and still drive out to Glenmont for them to do oil changes/tire rotations because I am so thankful for the way theyve treated me. Would recommend TACS to anyone!

Top work ethic, expertise and friendliness

Took a hour to get an estimate on damages to my vehicle. There camera wasnt charged to take pictures and the price was really high.

I have only one word to say, Awesome. It is very rare to find these kind of people these days. I highly recommend TACS auto body and service.

This is one of the best places to bring your car in the Capital District. I have been a loyal customer of theirs for a few years at this point. I came to them because I needed some body work done on my car and not only were they a pleasure to deal with, the repair was done perfectly and on time. It was easy to work with them and my insurance company. I was more than thrilled when they started to expand their business to take mechanical work as well. I brought my next car purchase to them to have them look over it before making a decision to purchase and have brought it to them for everything from oil changes, to more complex issues. The nice thing is, they are not out to get your money like most places, only once have they advised me to take my vehicle somewhere else because they did think it was in their wheelhouse (issue with transmission that was handled by the dealership). They are truly an A+ company!

Had to have pictures done for our insurance. They were open on Saturday which helped a lot. The people were very friendly. Great experience.

Just got my Jeep back from having work done after being rear ended. I can not begin to tell you how happy I am with it! It looks like it rolled off the show room floor! This establishment really goes above and beyond for their customers. I couldnt be happier with my decision to get my car repaired at TACS. My insurance company was extraordinarily difficult to deal with and without everyone at TACS working hard for me, nothing would have gotten done. Bottom Line.... T.A.C.s is the best .... If you are within 75 miles of Glenmont NY it is worth you time to use these folks for your auto body repairs. Helpful, Fair, Very Skilled, and Willing to work with your insurance company.... They have fixed various vehicles for my family. Most recently they repaired a deep gouge in my F350. They PERFECTLY matched the paint / color which had small metal flake highlights entrained in it. They even detailed the ENTIRE truck inside and out!! GREAT PEOPLE TO WORK WITH....

I went to tacsauto body today to have a estimate done on my mirror as I was sitting there a I overheard them talking to a elderly women to discuss her car with a gentleman there I was blown away how nice they treated her they explained everything to her probably took a half hour . She also had a rental car that she was having trouble with the mirrors not adjusting correctly the gentleman said I would be more than happy to come out and make sure that they are adjusted correctly for you so you are safe . These guys are extremely professional I would not bring my car anywhere else even know I have not had the work done yet I am almost positive its going to come out perfect I have never seen such great customer service before that I auto body shop in this area

Matt and his family run a great shop. Not only can they help you with fixing your dents, they also handle service work. You can even ask about car rentals for long term jobs. Hell work with your insurance company (and theirs) to make sure youre completely satisfied with your vehicle when all is said and done. Great Service!

Excellence. Thats the single word that describes T.A.C.S. Excellence in everything they do. Customer service in describing the issue so the customer fully understands it; following up with insurance companies to get repairs completed that werent found as part of the original claim but clearly were; loaner vehicle for your use while your vehicle is being repaired. I can honestly say my car looked better when I picked it up from T.A.C.S. than it did when I picked it up new from the dealership. And their vehicle service offerings are not to be overlooked. They handle all type of routine servicing, just like the old neighborhood garage of years ago. And they treat you like the owner of that old neighborhood garage also! Not like youre treated by dealerships or these chain repair shops, squeezing you for every penny they can get out of you. T.A.C.S. posted hourly rates beats any of the competition by a HUGE margin. Tires, brakes, A/C, oil/filter/lube, inspections, you name it, it appears they do it. And never anything but smiles on the customers in the reception area. With a Keurig coffee machine that makes you a fresh hot cup of coffee to the goodies basket they have there, you feel like youre taking a trip back in time to the good old days when customers mattered above all else. And I found out why. These 3 brothers had the best teacher. They learned it all the right way as they were growing up from their Dad, working along side of him in his shop. If youre looking for body work, this is THE place to go! If youre looking for general mechanical work, this is also THE place to go! You wont regret your experience. I certainly havent!

I have actually gone there more for advice or to help me with little things since I like to fix my car myself as much as I can and they have helped me in their parking lot and never charge me. If I ever did get in an accident that I couldnt fix I would go to them for sure.

I would like to thank Matt and everyone else at TACS for such great help. Our car was involved in an accident and needed an estimate and repair. However the damage was too much to be repaired. Even though TACS was not getting paid anything from the free estimate we were able to leave the vehicle there until we decided what we were doing. I would reccomend them to anyone, they are very pleasant helpful and even still offered help and advice while we were leaving . It is great to see such hometown service without asking for anything in return. I would recommend them to anyone who wants good honest service which is great to see these days.Thank Again!!

TACS is an awesome family owned business who really care about providing great service. They are super friendly and helpful. As a woman, I really love that they dont try and sell me extra stuff because I dont know about cars. I totally trust them. If they say I need something done with my car, I know its true. They never try to add on extras to make more money. Great business and highly recommended.

Unbelievable service. The guys at TACs are always so helpful. I pulled in 15 minutes before closing and they serviced my car right then and there. They take the time to explain everything - such as the difference between synthetic and regular motor oil and why I should be using the less expensive product for my car (based on mileage and other factors). Theyve won a lifetime customer through integrity and good intentions.

Not your average body/mechanic shop. These guys at TACS are honest and care about their customers. I was told from dealership that I needed all new brakes - easy sale...but they confirmed I only needed front pads. I wont go anywhere else. Im bringing all of my car needs to TACS - and spreading the word to friends in town. Even out of town. Very trustworthy, family business.

Hands down the best service out there. My wifes brand new car was the unfortunate recipient of a series of pebbles that fell off of an empty dump truck, dinging her car in multiple areas. By going to TACS, not only did we get quick, excellent work (you cant even tell there was any damage!), but we literally saved $250 by avoiding the dealer shop. Simply the best!
