We went to the dealership on Saturday morning to talk about getting into a lease and met with Eric. We told him what we were looking to do, where we wanted out payments to be. We took a 2025 Chevy Trax for a test drive and fell in love. They were able to work with us on our trade and got us as close as they could to the payment we were looking for. Everyone from our salesman, manager and the finance guy were great. Would definitely recommend!

The entire experience was frustrating. I had called to ask about the price of a vehicle that was on their lot. I was given a price, but it was a recent trade in that was a sister stores vehicle so it wasn t in their inventory. However, if I wanted to test drive it to go in .So I went in within the hour. Only to be told we don t have a price but I can give you a rough idea . Which ended up being $4k more than I was told a few hours ago. I was told the vehicle needed to go through the shop to get a price (price never even changed, funny how that works) ..I was asked to pre fill out a credit report authorization since I was in the store and wouldn t need to go back. I explained to NOT run my credit report until I hear what the final numbers were Salesman agreed they would never do that. Almost a week goes by and I started receiving email notifications that my credit had been ran .I DIDNT EVEN KNOW THE PRICE OF THE VEHICLE YET! No one called me. I had to call them to ask what was going on?! I was furious! and yet everyone acted clueless and well we got your payment where you would like it was the only response he could give me. I asked about the recalls on the vehicle and the response I got was well when it went through the shop it would have been taking care of ..I KNEW it wasn t taken care of because I called dodge with the VIN. I ended up purchasing the vehicle (mainly because I couldn t find another one like it in our area) THEN to be handed 1 key fob ..I asked where the 2nd one was since it was a 2022 .. I ll have to look into it and have the shop order one Still haven t received the key fob but after my experience, I didn t get my hopes up. Would never purchase anything here ever again.

The vehicles that they have on the Internet do not have the features that they say come equipped with the vehicle. We picked another vehicle to look at the dealer told me it has the navigation, and then tried to convince me that OnStar is the same thing as navigation.

I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. It took 1.75 hrs. to complete even though they knew I had to wait there for the vehicle.

I went in for an oil change last week. The prices are $50. More than the last time I went I asked for a tire rotation. They didnt even do that. Used to be my go-to place for service not anymore

We went to Eric Wright, looking for a used car to purchase based on a recommendation by a friend. Eric was very helpful and informative. There were absolutely no pressure sales. We explained what we were looking for and price range. We spent an entire day test driving several vehicles multiple times before settling one a 2020 Chevrolet Certified Equinix with 18,000 miles. Even though it was at the end of the day, Eric and finance rep., Jessica stayed late to get the paperwork in order. We were renting a vehicle after our car had been totaled, so time was of the essence. We completed the purchase process the next day with Laurie and Eric, the vehicle pick-up ready as scheduled. Everything moved smoothly. We are now happy owners. Everything was explained clearly, and Eric even picked us up at the Enterprise rental lot during a snow storm to get us back to the dealership. He and the other staff were very down to earth and made us feel comfortable. We had purchased several cars at Garvey Kia Volkswagen and have always been happy with them, but did not see anything that fit our requirements. We highly recommend Eric Wright and Whiteman Chevrolet and would use them in future. Our service will be with them as well.

Check-in was easy and smooth, the wait time was very reasonable and the coffee/espresso/beverage dispenser was great! A television in the waiting area would be a nice addition. Overall, a good experience and friendly staff!

Avoid this place at all cost just bought a truck here three weeks ago. I have put about 200 miles on it started making a weird noise so I brought it in and they charged me $400 for a pulley. I have only driven the truck two times told them this is absolutely absurd. They told me its not covered under the lemon law. Tough lock will never do business here again.!!!

My service was good. But we have a New 2024 Equinox with a oil consumption issue. Nine quarts in 9000 miles. They say that is within Chevy specs. Doesnt meet my specs. Very dissapointing. Time to go elsewhere!!

Relatively decent communication. Sad part is part is only bought the vehicle used September 2023. Failed inspection for the parking brake, and in diagnostic, found uneven wear in rear brake pads caused by a bad caliper. With only 12k miles since purchase, feel these things should have been caught at inspection prior to purchase.

Thursday August 15 2024. I visited Whiteman Chevrolet Dix Avenue Glens Falls. On the website they showed a 2024 Corvette Stingray 2LT in Torch Red. As I walked up to the dealership there was a black version on the lot , I checked it over and then entered the showroom to check out the red one. No one greeted me. I walked back to my car ,grabbed my glasses, checked out the sticker on the black Corvette outside and then I went back in. As I walked over to the red Corvette a sales representative walking through the showroom said hello and kept going. I walked around the car, checking out the window sticker and the styling. Typical tire kicker. The sales rep., I believe his name is Ray came back and we began the small talk. About one hour into the visit I asked if I could test drive one of the Corvettes. I asked about a discount. I was prepared to buy the red one that day. I have never in my life driven a Corvette and I only sat in the C8 version once. The rep went to talk to someone. I sat and waited about 15 minutes. Ray and this Dude, who I guess was a manager, but really billed himself as the Corvette expert. He started out saying there are no discounts. He tried to impress me like he has owned and raced a lot of Expensive sports cars and a lot of contradictory nonsense. Lastly he said they cant let someone take a 6 figure car out for a test drive, because if I dont buy it and God forbid I put 5 miles on the car, the next guy or gal wont want to buy a car that expensive with miles on it. Well, this DUDE had no idea my credit card was in my pocket. I was ready to put down the sales tax and see the finance department. Not really that important to this story, but to the point, I once visited a dealership and took a S500 out for a joyride and came back and bought a B7 Alpina. The kicker was the expert suggested if I want to drive one. I could rent one. By the way $1,500 plus for a minimum of 2 days. I said see you later and walked out. By the way I did purchase a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray LOADED 3LT Torch Red. Over the internet, Les Stanford Chevrolet, Dearborn Michigan. It was advertised with a 10 percent discount and there is a factory incentive I qualified for. Talecia Zander, sales. Scott Estes, finance. They took care of everything. I had it shipped. Completed the purchase 8.27.24 and the car was delivered to my home on 8.30.24. Better car, a fabulous deal and out of the dozens and dozens of cars I have purchased over the years, THE ABSOLUTE BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. Its a long story, I was going to drive to Whiteman and thumb my nose at them in my car but I think this story will have a better impact. DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! I would like to add two things. First.there was a additional 1,800$ added by the dealership for ceramic coating. I didnt want it nor did I want to pay for it. They told me they couldnt take it off. So it is what it is. #@*%ING arrogant response. Second, after I wrote the review and purchased the car somewhere else, they replied, give us a call and lets see if there is something we could do. Maybe they can pay the freight cost for shipping the car. My suggestion to this dealership is, you cant do business like your grandfather did. You need to be honest, fair, and give a good price to everyone, not just a select few. The word will get around. Its hard to mend a BAD REPUTATION.

I needed a repair for my EV- a rodent had chewed through wires in the engine. The staff were pleasant, but the repair took over a week, which seemed a bit excessive based on the damage done. A small complaint- there were oily footprints in the passenger and drivers floor mats.

I had my truck towed into this dealership on a Monday. The truck is a 2022 chevy 2500 HD Duramax, shut it off would not restart only 24000 miles. I called the dealership on Tuesday to find out the status of the truck, was told I was the 4th in line to be looked at, I said OK. Called Thursday was told they have not got it in the shop yet to look at it. Friday same thing, not in shop yet. Saturday just called again same thing, not in shop yet, was told I would have to talk to the manager, said OK let me speak with him, was told he will not be there until Monday. Monday it will be the 7th day, still not in the shop. If you are looking for a review for this dealership, here it is. Whiteman Chevrolet sells new cars, but they do not service them in a timely manner. I will repost when I get final fix. Patrick

Very quick and efficient during a dealer swap with Cody Chevrolet.

The quick service was great. They tested my battery and told me it was good. I have had the truck for 18 months and was told the test was not covered under warranty, because the battery is a wear Item. The battery was dead again the next day. I used a battery tester from a friend who is a mechanic and in 10 seconds the tester told me the battery had a bad cell. I ran the test again and the tester said replace battery. I did and all is good now. I am upset that I had to wait 1.5 hours for a test that was not accurate and I had to pay $75.00 for it. Again I do appreciate the quick service but not happy with the results.

I would be careful dealing with these people. They are nice to you when they want to sell a car. They sure change after that! The service Dept. cant even figure out how to give people their reward points on their account. My girlfriend had issues 3 times there with not receiving her points after spending big money there. They just dont care. Go somewhere else if you can.

I went for a routine oil change. Every time I come here it takes about an hour and they mark me down as a waiter. And every time they never come to tell me when my car is done. Each time I wait 1.5-2 hrs before I go up to them and ask if my car is done. This last time after 2 hours I go to ask and they hadn t even started my car yet. I had to cancel an appointment I had scheduled for 2.5 hrs later than my oil change appointment. Never going here again for an oil change.

My appointment was scheduled for 9am and we ended up dropping it off the night before. When I went to pick it up later that day it wasnt ready. They hadnt touched it until I got there to pick it up around 2. When I got in my truck it was filthy with dirt all over the seats.

Went here in June 2023 looking to buy a much more expensive car than I left with. Justin was extremely helpful, and helped me find something with the same features I was looking for, for a much better price. Never felt pressured to buy. Spent a couple hours just talking, looking through his computer, and deciding what was best. Decided on what was perfect, decided on a price, did some paperwork and picked it up the next day! Hopefully wont need a new car for a while, but when I do, I know where Im going.

This was my first new car (to me)purchase 2020 Chevy Trax. I knew what I was looking for and did my research to find my perfect car here at Whitmans. All it took was a phone call to DEN, and within 2 days time I was in my car and test driving this beauty. We were blown away with the attention to detail he provided in answering our specific questions, and also to preparing the car for a test drive ALTHOUGH the car was very new to the lot. Den was available to us day or nght for any concerns. The whole transaction from start to finish was less than a week. They are so attentive here to making their customers happy, I am so gald I purchased my car from Whitemans! Everyone has been so helpful from sales to the service department. I had the most horrific experience with whiteman and body shop . I just read a Facebook post where at least 7 other people had terrible experiences .keep in mind they do have the right to delete negative reviews . I strongly urge anyone who has had a bad experience to contact your insurance companies legal department to insure they will be deleted from their approved repair shop referrals

I had a not so great experience speaking with a lady at the front desk, however, i am so grateful that John, the service manager, intervened. He was terrific at helping me get my car fixed as quickly as possible, dealing with my insurance, and communicating with me along the way. Even when he was out of the office dealing with a family emergency he made sure to stay on top of the issue with my car. He definitely deserves recognition for going above and beyond.

Kevin Meadows was so patient with me. I ve been driving my old equinox for 20 yrs and there is sooo much new technology on cars today. He offered a tutorial to me & answered all my questions without making me feel like a dummy. He is not only very informative but a really nice guy too. He texted back & forth with me for a couple of weeks as I awaited for my car to be delivered. When it arrived we went over all the paperwork & the next day he went over the features inside my car & watched as I drove my car home. Can t say enough bout him!

The service rep guided me into the garage entrance, placed protective seat cover, took my name, told me it would be 45 minutes to have the vehicle state inspection completed, and directed me to the waiting room where amenities were provided. Less then 45 minutes later the service rep notified me the state inspection was completed with no issues, then directed me to the window to pay for the inspection. All very harmless and quickly taken care of.

I had an 8 am appointment for an oil change and had to wait 10 minutes to check in because drop off vehicles and computers were down. In addition, I was charged over $100 for an air filter with install WITHOUT being told of the price. I would have done it myself... 5 minute job! I was credited the labor after complaining. Terrible Experience!

I brought my car in to be serviced. They said multiple parts ended up being covered and it was only gonna cost a few hundred dollars. When I got my car back it started shaking violently and the dash started blinking. It was not drivable. I called and explained the situation to them, they took the car back in that same day to fix it. While they were working on it they called me and said that they made a mistake and that one of the parts they said was covered actually wasn t covered. That part happens to cost over 3 grand. When I got my car back it was finally drivable , but now 2 months later the same problem has come back up and my car isn t drivable. My car had less issues before I ever brought it in to get serviced there.

It was absolutely wonderful! As I have told everyone since I purchased my 2024 Equinox, Im 61 years old and it was the best ever car shopping experience. I had never been to Whitemans before, this is my first Chevrolet! Kevin was my salesman, and he was amazing! He was very professional, knowledgeable, kind and patient. He answered all of my questions, and made suggestions as I test drove (2 different model) vehicles. He was an absolute pleasure to work with! I then dealt with Jess after the deal was made (I believe was her name) and she was amazing as well! She was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient!. She answered all of my questions! My WHITEMAN CHEVROLET experience was hassle free and a wonderful. I also would like to add that everyone is so friendly, which I think is very important. My Husband and i Just bought my used car from Kevin at Whitemans. He was great through the entire process, professional and Friendly.

My husband called about the front passenger tire. Told them there were 2 small pinholes causing a slow leak. He told them it just needed a PATCH. When work was completed I was told it was PLUGGED. And then charged $30+. 3 hours later the tire was still slowly leaking. The tire sensor inside the car, on the dash that reads tire pressure keeps lighting up with warnings that I am dangerously low. When checking it with our own tire gauge it reads 35psi. So clearly this was never reset. What did I pay for? I still have a leaky tire and now a sensor is messed up.

Great experience at each department. The most professional/courteous out of all Chevy dealers I visited. Sales not pushy, Justin was great. Love my 23 Silverado. They were able to resolve my paint defect quickly and efficiently- major shout out to Ken, who I will see for any and all future body work.

Brought my vehicle in for a recall - this was explained over the phone when scheduling the appt. I drove 25 miles for this appt with my newborn only for them to scan my VIN and tell me I have to come back. No apologies or acknowledgement of the inconvenience. I was told I could call GM and submit a complaint for this. I return about a month later, once again driving 25 minutes with my infant. Was not told the recall could take up to 3 hours to fix - had I been told this ahead of time I would have arranged child care. Very dissatisfied with the service.

Very Thankful! We were on our way home to the north country from NYC when we had unexpected engine issues on our Chevy Traverse. We called the dealership when they opened and they agreed to see the vehicle and help us out. They quickly diagnosed the problem, offered a solution, and gave us a loaner vehicle for the few hours it took to complete the repair. The entire staff went above and beyond and we are super grateful. They earned our business next time we re in the market for a new vehicle!

The communication with Krystal was poor. Many messages with questions went unanswered. I was asked for the phone number for a service contract that should already be on file. Last time i had my truck in i had the call the service contract myself to get things moving. Assistant service manager Monique walked by many times while John Green was busy without acknowledging me at all. The loaner was not adequate. Constant oil change light, vibration on the highway, inadequate for winter weather especially when I dropped off a 4 wheel driver with studded snows. I brought this up to service manager john green and nothing was done despite there being many new and used trucks and suvs on the lot. I recieved unsolicited sales calls while my truck was there to be fixed. Happy it is done, the mechanic was great. Other than that it was a less than impressive experience. I will try Della for my future service needs

Went in for inspection they said would take 20mins, I waited for little over hr. However come to find out nice had chewed the hood piece to bits. They cleaned everything up and replaced the cover. I had no idea, and are extremely thankful they did all that for Me. Thank you whiteman for you extra work and kindness.

The service was great as I expected to be

My 2015 Tahoe broke down early on a Friday morning as I was passing through Lake George and I was directed to Whiteman Chevrolet by a local garage due to the extent of repairs needed. The assistant service manager Andrew Askew was able to help me get the truck in for service and luckily they had the parts for the repair. They kept me posted on their progress through the day and were able to finish the repair.

I can t say enough about Whiteman Chevrolet s Collision Center. Manager Ken Lytle was great to work with. On two different occasions I ve brought my Silverado there. Both times had a great experience. Today it turned out my bill was less than quoted and I didn t have the time to finish my coffee in Whiteman s waiting room and the job was done. I brought my truck here for an oil change, an air bag recall and to have a tire resealed due to a slow leak. Oil change Tire reseal Air bag recall Brand new crack on my dash that was not there prior I sent a photo via text to the service team. I was told the dash cracks on every vehicle the recall is performed on and I should join the class action lawsuit against GM. What? I was never advised this was common when I dropped off my truck. Im very unhappy with the explanation provided by the service team after they damaged my vehicle. My concern was expressed and I never heard from the service manager. They will receive the warranty funds from GM and they received my payment for the maintenance, so I guess they are satisfied, but I am not.
