John is always accomodating, he and his team do great & thorough work. Theyre not afraid to work on foreign cars like most mechanics in the area & dont charge a kidney for it either.

One of if not THEE best around! John and his crew get right to work and fix whatever is wrong with your vehicle asap and you get it back within a day or two depending of the severity of the issue. Just a bunch of nice guys who know how to treat customers and fix vehicles. I highly recommend John's Auto!

John was very accommodating and easy to work with. Very happy with my visit - great first impression! He helped me replace a front bumper, fender liner and front tire. He also replaced the rear brakes, did an oil change, and a state inspection all in one visit. Great communication too! A+++

John's Auto has been my family's primary mechanic since before I can remember! You NEVER have to worry whether they are being honest or not. There have been many times where my mother was told by mechanics at other shops that she needs this or that fixed, then she'll bring it to John's for a "second opinion" & he'll tell us that is not true. John ALWAYS does his best to try to find the cheapest way to get your car fixed, and fixed WELL. If you are in the Gloversville/Johnstown area & are in need of a mechanic, I couldn't suggest a better place to go!

Couldn't ask for anything more, I needed a break line asked on the phone what it would cost and was given a quote before he even looked at it. Dropped it off in the evening picked it up next day and paid the price that was quoted. Too many places nowadays try to get just a little more out of you but not this one. Honest and fair. Johns auto was recommended from a friend and I would recommend it to anyone.

Wow, what a great experience! I brought my Volkswagon the John after having a horrible experience with another local mechanics shop! Not being from the area, I was once again taking a shot in the dark! I called John and he agreed to look at my car that Friday! I had it towed to him the day prior, on a Thursday! Keep in mind I've never met John and was taking a chance! However after initially meeting him I really liked him! Hes professional , yet very nice! I truly felt comfortable leaving my car with him! Nevertheless I was a little afraid of cost but that was a natural fear! Believe it or not John called me the same day u dropped the car off and gave me a diagnosis, I was stunned! He quoted me 1400 bucks, which hurt but u expected as much! I told him to go ahead with the work! Not expecting to get my car back for at least a couple of days, John called me the following day which was Friday and ttold me he was finished! I was like , Wow, this guy doesn't play! But not only was my car completed but John said that the price had significantly dropped to 800 dollars! I was so impressed that if he were a girl I would have kissed her! Lol My car drives wonderfully! I have nothing but the nicest things to say about John and his auto mechanics shop! He's a breath of fresh air! He has a lifetime customer with me and I would recommend him to absolutely everyone! Thank you John!
