my truck needed some serious body work. I had planned to visit several shops to see what they thought about the work. I went to see joe at slate valley first. he knew exactly what my truck needed, he priced out the entire job for me, he gave me a time frame for the work to be completed and told me when he could fit my truck in. I was so impressed by joe that I never went to visit any of the other shops. my truck has now been fixed and I can not recommend joe and slate valley enough! joe is truly an experienced professional and he is meticulous. he cares. it's not often that I meet someone with this level of integrity. I would not go anywhere else for body work.

I'm sure it's not all the employees but I've had three friends all report theft of items from their vehicles after leaving them at Slate Valley Auto for repairs!!! I mean really? When asked about it, denial is the first defense of course but come on, people know what's in their cars!!! Once or maybe twice could look somewheres else but three people, same story, yeah it's the truth then. I'd take inventory or even pictures of items that could easily disappear before leaving my vehicle there if I were you!!!

Purchased a used transmission from Slate Valley for one of our customers. The transmission price was fair and it was in great shape! Two of their guys loaded it in my car for me, and they let me check it thoroughly while they waited. So far, there have been no problems with the used transmission. We have been very pleased with the service we received. In addition to being happy with their quality and professionalism, I saw that they also sponsor a section of highway and regularly clean litter from the roadways. To me, that speaks volumes of their character. We appreciate their hard work, on the roadways and in the shop, and we look forward to doing business with them again in the future.

I will never take my car here again. They took over 4 hours to do a tire change that they said would take 1.5 hour, and charged me $130 for it when they quoted me less than $50. The bill quoted 1.5 hours of labor though the car was only in the bay for 20 minutes After they changed my tires, my low tire light is constantly on and they said that should be normal.. months later and the light is still on. Do not take your car here.

My husband works here and they do another for customers in a timely manner. They're even open during the pandemic for customers needs. They pull parts, sell parts, fix vehicles etc. Great friendly workers etc. Not just saying all this because my husband works here. I dont lie and this place is great for being open during the pandemic and helping people that are struggling with parts or vehicle.

I brought my vehicle to slate valley automotive. Everyone there is down to earth and treated me like family. My vehicle was done very quickly and at a far price. I would highly recommend slate valley auto everyone.
