This place and its owner is a complete nightmare! He thinks he s doing you a favor.Attitude you can t believe! I requested him to do so work on the brakes of an old truck I own...he agreed, told me what parts I had to order, which I did and delivered to him. Then the procrastination started. Long story short ..7 months later he told me he s not gonna do it. I should sue this guy. What a loser..... Stay away...he deserves a zero.

A friend and I were passing through town on our way to a concert when my jeep was having throttle issues. Right off the exist was an auto part store that directed I to Oralls. This guys took help me immediately! They were able to quickly location the problem and fix it. We made it right in time for our show! I am so incredibly thankful for the time and urgency these guys put into my vehicle. I would HIGHLY recommend to any one living in the area or passing through. Thank you so much again!

We were 3 hours into a 5 hour road trip and our SUVs check engine light started flashing and we lost power. We were close to the Hancock NY exit and found Don Oralls Garage. It was a Saturday afternoon and they made time in their busy schedule to fit us in and they diagnosed the problem and got us back on the road. We are very grateful to George and his team for helping us out. If I lived close to Hancock NY this would be my garage of choice! They are knowledgeable, professional and they treated us like family. Just good people!

Always has an excuse, no workers, not enough time, etc. Had my truck there for over six months, just to get an inspection so I can run it during the summer. Evertime an excuse. Finally just grabbed my truck and drove two hours to get it inspected elsewhere, took maybe twenty minutes. Shame on you. Thanks for monopolizing anywhere close. Never going back.

We were on our way from upstate NY to NY city and our tire had a leak. Luckily, we found this garage nearby. The opening time was 8 am, but they came early around 7.15 and helped us even before the shop opened. They did not overcharge for anything and fixed our leak, and we were out before 8. So grateful for their quick service.

Had to call AAA to have my car pulled out a ditch today and the guys that came out were super quick, helpful, and efficient. Nothing but good things to say. Thank you!

We broke down in the of middle of the Catskills with a 23ft camper. George from Don Oralls Garage rescued us, taking our truck, camper, and us back to their garage. Within an on hour of having the truck we were back on the road! These folks understand service and how to make a potentially frustrating day into a better day. Oh by the way this was on a Sunday!! They were an hour from where we broke down but the only shop open and more than willing to help. George thank you so much for all you did, and thank you to all that worked on the truck!

My son and I were locked out of our car at a gas station in Hancock. Chuck from this company was so helpful and kind highly recommend this company.

Used their heavy wrecker service. The operator was very knowledgeable, and he seemed very experienced. I feel like price wise, they are probably the same a any wrecker service. Quick response time also. Overall, it was a good experience to make a bad day better.

They were kind, quick and knowledgeable. Being stranded is a scary thing and they were amazing. I am so thankful!!! For those who live near by, this is your garage to go to.

This is the first towing company that actually really hep us !!! Talked to a George extremely helpful, We had a unit that when on derate 5 mph the unit was on a rural road with not much traffic and was kind of bad area not to many options around. After calling over 5 different companys I was able to reach George since the star of the conversation he was willing to help us no matter what. My idea was to tow the unit to a truck stop and them to move the driver to a hotel The distance from the brake down to the truck stop was around 80 ~ miles app. While talking to George and explaining him the plan he immediately suggested to towed to his own yard that way the truck and the trailer will be on a safe spot also they will accommodate my driver to a hotel near by so we end up doing that. Thank you so much for all the service Very professional ++++ Very educated +++ As well prices very very reasonable !! Please if you need them call them

George and other staff checked car, the car needed to be fixed by dealer, George found a nearest dealer for me. They are so skillful, honest and with great integrity. They deserve ten stars. Saturday morning, 7 am, my truck blew the water pump in Hancock. Called around for service or a tow and Orrals was the only shop already at work! EXCELLENT service, fair pricing, and reliable communication. They went above and beyond regular service, even helped me load my motorcycle into the truck - in the rain - when I came to pick up my truck. I wish I were close enough to make them my regular garage.

The people working there are so nice and friendly and helpful. If you are in Hancock New York and have a problem with your car or truck I would give them a call.

I called Don Oralls to get my new battery put in and the lady on the phone (after not putting me on hold, asked in the background what should we charge for that) tells me $25. I go to Don Oralls and they changed my battery successfully but the price came out to $32.40 (which the lady stated was $25 + tax ) so I went to leave and looked at my receipt and they charged me $5 extra for shop supplies . I called them and asked why I was charged for shop supplies (the man answered and put the phone down while i listened to his whole conversation with the lady to try & figure out what to tell me on why i was charged that) for him to say that it was a credit card fee i paid with debit so i proceed to ask him, why doesn t it say credit fee then, and he cut me off and told me to just come and get my money back. So, I went back and as soon as I walked in, nobody greeted me so I stated I was the one who called about the $5. The lady then proceeded to get up and state, It s $5.40, even better for you and then I proceeded to ask was the fee for debit cards as well, and the man proceeded to say yes but the lady cut me off and told me not to worry about it because she was refunding me my money. I started to state maybe they should change what it says so customers aren t confused like me and she cut me off and told me to chill out I left out the store and my girlfriend stayed inside while they proceeded to tell her I needed to chill out and wouldn t let her speak and kept cutting her off when she was telling them that she appreciated what they were doing. My main thing was, if we were told about the fee, there would be no issue but debit cards don t require an fee & also, I ve had my card serviced here before with RECEIPTS of never having to pay this card fee before. Overall, I wish I could give them a 0. The nicest person there was the mechanic and he even had to finish tightening the bolts to my battery AFTER he gave the car back and we were about to drive away. I wasn t being rude at all, I genuinely was confused and felt like they should change what it says if they re wanting to charge a fee instead of making someone pay $5 for shop supplies when all you used was a tool to change my battery. The people running this place are way too old to be acting like high schoolers. I hope they don t scam anymore people, $5 or $100.

These people are simply the best. Thorough, honest, and very reasonable. Worth the drive ( if your car is up for it!) if you re not located close by. I wish I had a garage like this where I live.

Outstanding place, blew a tire late on a Friday night and they had me back on the road just after 7am Saturday morning. Super pleasant, pit crew fast and incredibly affordable. Could not recommend any higher.

We got a flat tire while based in Hancock for a few weeks, and were recommended Oralls by our host. We got there on a Monday morning and they got the car into the shop right away, fixed what turned out to be a leaky air valve, and set us on our way--while charging us way less than expected. Very much appreciate their help and integrity.

I had a positive experience with Don Oralls Garage. Every staff I met there was nice. Especially George and his family helped us out of the difficult situations. What they did means a lot to us, especially when we were having a very hard time with negative stuff one after another. They gave us a ride to the hotel and later picked us up from the airport hundreds miles away, but didnt charge us for anything. I was touched but didnt know how to express my thankfulness. However, now I figured out the right thing for me to do is to live my life to accomplish the full potentials and raise my child right and successful to become a helpful great person to others in daily life, like what Don Oralls Garage did.

Id like to start by saying if I could give Don Oralls Garage and crew 10 stars I would! My story is a girl stranded on the side of the highway... Basically in the middle of nowhere and 2.5 hour drive from anyone that could help me out as well as home. My car tires locked up and stopped working and I IMMEDIATELY began to have melt down... I couldnt figure out where I was and how to contact a tow truck. The sheriff to my blessing called Don Oralls. They were quick and efficient! The tow truck driver assured me that everything was Gonna be okay.. (as I Continued to freak out) when we got to the Garage They made me feel comfortable and safe in an unknown place. The entire time I believed my transmission went to my surprise before they even got my car of the truck they had solved the problem. (my break slipped and locked up my tire)... When we arrived two other mechanics(please forgive my lack of memory when it comes to names) came over did a assessment and very quickly fixed my issue and then took off the tire (still on thr flatbed) and fixed my brake!! Ofcourse NO ONE wants to go through a stressful ordeal like this, but to have this crew there to help my made the situation a billion times better. Not only did they make me feel okay and safe and worked very quickly and intelligently they gave me an extremely reasonable price... For it being a Saturday.....on the side of the highway.. Thank you times a million for your help!!!

These guys rock! If I could, Id give them TEN stars! I am from New England and no stranger to winter weather. But the roads were so terrible after the Thanksgiving snow storm that I couldnt make it all the way up the hill to the top of Whitley Rd, i.e., the middle of nowhere. My car stopped moving, then slid backwards and into a snow bank. The driver arrived promptly (early, even!). He quickly pulled my car out of the snow bank, turned it around, and drove it back down to the bottom of the hill for me. Then he walked back UP and drove me to the car in his tow truck. He could have called it good right then and left me on my own. Instead he suggested another, less treacherous route, then followed me the couple of miles to my destination to make sure I arrived safely.

I own a towing service in Mt.upton and have had times we are busy on calls and get that customer who we just cant get to quickly. I have called oralls a few times to help out to get a customer taken care of and they are always willing to help. Great guys all the way.

We found ourselves needing a hydraulic hose, on very short notice, very late in the day. A quick phone call to Oralls Garage was enough to make sure that we could get a replacement hose made, even though we werent able to get there until after hours. Several staff members were kind enough to stay late and wait for us, allowing us to repair our broken machine quickly. Oralls excellent customer service enabled us to provide excellent service to our customer, and were pleased to share our experience here.

We had a flat on the highway. They came within 10 minutes to help and then put a new tire on our car right away at the shop. Total time was an hour and 15 minutes and then we were on our way again. They were so friendly and helpful. Wouldn t have wanted to be stranded anywhere else!

My sons car had two flat tires on Rte 17, they responded quickly, the workers were incredibly nice, they went out of their way to help him with the car issues. They went above and beyond the call of a regular worker. I wanted to write the owner, but sadly I dont know how. Chuck the tow truck driver and George the mechanic went above and beyond what I would find anywhere else. They were both God sends at the time of trouble. Thank you for all that you did and do.
