I wish I could give them 10 stars! They were an absolute lifesaver for us yesterday when my daughter got a flat tire on her way back to college. She was 4 hours away from us and 2 hours away from her school, we had no idea who to call. We tried working with the roadside service provided by our insurance company, but they completely misled us, so we Googled places based on her location and called Prestige. Shane was amazing! Not only did they go and pick her and her car up, but they located a tire to fit her car from another location and brought my daughter, her car and the tire back to their place. They took such great care of her and had her back on the road within an hour and a half. As parents, we are so grateful that she was in good hands and safe! Their towing and repair cost were very, very reasonable. It s so great to know that there are still good people and honest companies out there in this world. Thank you, Prestige!!!

I wrecked my car called them and they were there within 20 minutes to pick up the vehicle and theyre going to be doing the work on it so Ill keep you posted on how that works out

We use them for our fleet of ambulances. Hands down the best. They always get us in, even on short notice and have our vehicles out asap. Hands down the best there is.

UPDATE BELOW THIS**: Make sure youre a local to deal with this place!! They overcharged me after telling me one price on the phone. They are disputing my bank over it - **name spelled wrong and price way over. Have yet to send my ID BACK TO ME almost 3 **(this was about 3 months ago)** weeks later. Pretty sure thats against the law....or they should pay for the replacement. **Verbal agreements are also legally binding. **UPDATE: Is it ethical that they lied about the price verbally and took advantage of a stressed out, not local, traveler. That never sent me my license back that they claim they handed it to me with my bank card with a full letter size page receipt on top (which had a tiny receipt photo copied in the corner) hence the price overlooked (real cute). Oddly, I got the paper folded up and put away, and my card back in its paper holder, and THEN inside my wallet. I was so distraught to think that I didnt also put my license in there. When I called after realizing at a gas station, they asked me (an hour drive away) if I wanted to pick it up. They immediately knew who I was and told me I left my ID there before I could ask. Then why didnt you call me? Or come out while you pulled my brand new car out from behind two tow trucks, so I couldnt even see it or what, steal it?? I was there for over 30 mins. I had a puppy to take of, so I asked if they could mail it, Sure, no problem, now Im currently ordering a new license. Because its been 3 months, and they wont answer my area code #. If they tow you, record the conversation over the phone. And take pics of times and places while traveling, always, I guess phone records and cameras dont count unless you take them to court. Btw if you were wondering, Its a safe place to hitch hike, as well.

Had my ford f350 dually towed today 5/1/22. The man who towed it was great and very quick. The problem is the price. It was towed about 12 miles and I was charge $175.00 for it. I have had a vehicle of similar size towed from hancock, NY to my home an hour away and it was the same price. Talk about taking advantage.

Can t speak to their towing because the person who answered the phone was sooo rude.

I was involved in a motorcycle accident Prestige was on the scene towed my bike collected all my belongings bagged them made sure I got them bike was pretty beat up but yet they still stored it indoors which I didn t expect thx for that !! Had progressive emergency roadside waited 6 hours before they called me and said Id have to pay for out of network towing for 275. Call prestige they came within 45 minutes and it was only 150. Highly recommend them Services

On Saturday 1/16/23, I called AAA due to a flat tire on my Tesla. The roadside service offered by Tesla could not help me in Sullivan County NY. Mike from Prestige Towing and Recovery in Harris, NY promptly came to the rescue and spotted a nail in my tire. After trying unsuccessfully to plug the tire in bitter cold weather, he carefully guided me to drive the car onto the flatbed to avoid any damage. Once at the shop, Mike and several other technicians took off the tire, plugged it, and topped off all my tires to the correct PSI setting. They could not have been more helpful and they answered all my questions about my specialty tires. My car does not have a spare tire or donut. This was a Saturday afternoon, when my usual tire center was closed. I dont know what I would have done without Prestige and the great young men who work there!

I called day prior to say I would be getting my car towed and they put me on call for the AM I called and they had me wait over 2 and a half hours for a tow. They only would ve gave me a $25 difference for the tow for the next morning mine as well had done that.

I called Prestige at 11:30 this morning My truck wont start. The dispatcher told me someone would be there in an hour. I called back at 2 and they were running behind and someone would be there soon. 3 oclock came and still nobody. I called Dispatch and she put me on hold for 16 minutes. When >I finally got to talk to amechanic he said it was too much work and to call someone else. Not a good way to run a business wish I could give o stars people are rude and lie

Came very fast, did a good job, was quoted $55.00 over the phone and when I went to pay him he told me $65.00. All I had were 20s ($80.00) so I asked him to just give me back 10 and he said he had no change. So,needless to say I had to give him $80.00 and he took the rest as a tip. Kinda fishy but I wasnt in the mood to argue!

Worst people to deal with. I was driving down the road and one of the drivers decided to almost hit me head on. I was on a one way road in a town and I called up the company and the manager was like I am sorry. He is trying to get to an accident scene by almost causing one. I know I will never call them if I need a tow. Both the driver and manager where rude. I do have a dash cam in my car and I have it perfectly clear that he was coming at me on a way way street and he was going the wrong way!!!

They deserve more then 5 star!! What a great outfit came out and helped one of our flatbeds. Driver though his radiator was leaking they came out and filled coolant and just tightened the radiator cap and told him he will be fine. Positive Professionalism

Chevy set up a tow with Prestige at 6:00 pm. Was advised of an ETA of 7:15-7:30. Got a text update at 7:07 stating the truck was still on time to arrive at ETA. At 7:40, no truck. I called the tow company, man answers and says they are 15 minutes out. Okay, Ill wait. (Should be there by 7:55). Its 8:05, no truck. I call, no answer. I call again, no answer. I send a text, no answer. Its now 8:25. I call again, rings once, get sent to voicemail. Cant leave a voicemail because its full. I call about 15 times in a row, keep getting sent to voicemail. Its now 8:35. Call Chevy, Chevy apologizes and calls the tow company, NO ANSWER. Big surprise. Chevy cancelled the tow and sent Sun City towing with an ETA of 9:43 - 9:58. Sun City towing shows up at 9:45. THANK YOU SUN CITY TOWING. Prestige towing NEVER showed up and NEVER called me. DO NOT USE, they are ridiculous. I had to sit in a parking lot for FOUR hours because Prestige could not even give me a courtesy call.

1/29/2020 - UPDATE: I have received a call from the owner Sean & expect my reimbursement shortly. It appears that it was a mix up caused by AAA that sent the check to a different person at a totally different address. I feel Sean is a business owner who cares about his company & reputation. Set up a tow through AAA back in November. Was told by the driver that the tolls were $65 plus tax. I was stuck so I paid it. Spoke to the office and found out they charged me for going over the Tappen Zee bridge which is more than 40 miles out of the way. The tow was to NJ. I was told I would receive a check for the difference. THREE TIMES I have spoken to the office about that check & each time I was told it was going out. I havent received it yet. Blatant rip-off!

Flat tire at Exit 103 on 17 and couldnt get lug nut off of truck tire. Called Prestige and they were there is 15 minutes. Quickly changed my tire for me. Allowed me to follow them back to the shop (on my way), pay with a card, use the restroom and added air to my tire. Great service. I would definitely use again in an emergency.

While driving up Rt 17 in my RV we were sidelined by a blown hose. From Brian the driver to Frank the shop manager to Sean the owner we were treated respectfully and they got us back on our trip within a day and at a fair price!

NEVER again......it was a total HORROR!!! After retreiving the auto keys, the driver stated Im not a taxi and left him. My diabetic 62 yr old man was left to walk home (3.75 miles up the road) after 11:00 pm on a dark public county road (without sidewalks & shoulders) up extremely steep hills with roaming black bear & coyotes, deer and other scary animals. It took him over an hour to get home, he was pale and exhausted with labored breathing.....I thought I was ging to lose him. Also, the towed vehicle was not delivered to the repair shop until the following morning and the driver did not know to whom the vehicle belonged. Having to deal with a business that employes such barabic people is a crime against humanity. My dream restitution is to have that driver walk the same path, at the same hour, and live the horror he imposed on my man....all because he wouldnt drive him 3.75 miles up the same road he was already on.

This is the worst mechanic I have ever been to. Lied to me thinking I didnt know anything about vehicles. Called them out on it and they really messed with my vehicle and made the problem even worse. I wasnt even getting it repaired just diagnosed. They dont even deserve 1 star . Save your money and find another mechanic anywhere else but please heed the other 1 star reviews I now believe everyone of them. Please for your own sanity and peace of mind go anywhere else!

I have been using this company for many years for personal and business use. Hauling my heavy equipment from my construction company on time with no damage. Hauling vehicles from my auto dealership same way and even when me or my family involved in accidents from roll overs to bad deer hits, we ALWAYS let the police know we want PRESTIGE towing to take our vehicle. Service so good, you almost want to be stranded! ( If that becomes the new slogan, I want a fee) A+++ business.
