Since my review was deleted.. I ll post again and will continue to post. I was involved in a car accident, where my tire was hit and ended up blowing out. Two men showed up, one who referred to himself as hillbilly. He wanted me to move my car before changing the tire, which I wasn t comfortable doing since I didn t want anything damaged more than it already was. Hillbilly started laughing at me and questioning what I would ve done in different scenarios. I stated again that I wasn t comfortable with moving it and if it could just be changed first. He then said yeah, when you pay me $80.25, and continued to laugh and be rude. After all was said and done his coworker apologized for his unprofessional behavior, and I said thank you and that given the situation, one would be expect a little more compassion and professionalism, insisted of basically having someone mock you. It wasn t my choice to have this company come, as the State Trooper is the one who called, but I would hope in the future, if I ever needed this type of service again, I would get better customer service than what I received today.

I contacted Geico to have my car towed out of my driveway after a winter storm. Geico advised me that they were sending Towaway LLC. They advised me to answer my phone for any unknown numbers, as it could be the tow company and that the wait would be longer than usual because of the winter storm. Not a problem. I was just happy to be able to get my car out of my driveway. I get a call from a toll free number. I answer, thinking it s Towaway LLC but it was Geico. The rep stated that they came but couldn t get to me because I live on a one way street and the driver couldn t get onto my street. Umm, okay. They should ve called me. They had my number. Next excuse was there were cars double parked in front of my house. I was literally sitting in my living room, near the window. There were no cars doubled parked in front of my house and if the issue was a double parked car, they had my number and could ve given me a call so I could ask the person to move. The fact that they were given my phone number and never gave me a call about any of these so called issues and just left is ridiculous and the reason that they are getting one star. It s all about communication. If they didn t want to do the job, they didn t have to accept it. I m not even sure if they came to my house. Anyone can lookup a street on Google.

Denniz and the rest of the Towaway staff had been more than professional and timely in the needs of my vehicle, they went out of their way to explain the mechanics of the problem as to why it had occurred. On a drop in the needed parts were there within a short amount of time of which they fit me in outside of their already busy schedule. Great staff, great place!

In response to your reply below.... it seems like your mechanics need to do better documentation because I did tell them that it was suggested to me by other people that the car would need a new engine (given that it was driven without oil after the pipe burst and then went up in smoke). My point is - it didnt even take a mechanic to see that in a matter of minutes, when it took your staff 5 hours of labor. Your mechanic said that was absolutely not the case - that it just needs a new PVC hose and would cost me a total of $100. You then called and said that it would cost $1000 to repair at which point I said I would consult with my boyfriend and get back to you. You then CALLED my boyfriend after asking me for his number to ask him when he last did an oil change. At no point did I (or him for that matter) authorize any repair beyond the initial $100. I have received nothing in writing even after requesting this from you. The vehicle belongs to me, which you knew, so Im not sure why you would ask for any authorizations to do repairs to it from anyone else in the first place, unless you didnt like me saying that I didnt want to spend $1000 on the car. We called you the following morning to tell you not to proceed with the repairs, not to change our mind as there was no such authorization given in the first place. After we tried to contact you about picking up the car, you said it was already taken apart and I owed you $500, or $1000 to put it back together to a non-running vehicle. So yes, I came there in person to discuss the matter. And I agreed to pay you the $300 to get my car back because you threatened to charge me storage fees and repossess it if I did not. Also, I asked to tow the car myself and you refused to allow me to do this, so I was forced by you to pay YOU to tow it to get the car back. Furthermore, at no point did I ask you to do an oil change on a car that would not run. The PVC pipe is worth $18 online, which was left on the passenger seat, not even installed, with the tag still on it. Sorry, but not only are you unprofessional, but also dishonest with your customers. Your business chose to take advantage of a customers bad situation to make a profit.

This place is great the employees are wonderful they are friendly and very quick. And Deniz at the front desk is great very friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone! They really helped me out when I was in a bind when my heater core went bad in my vehicle and i was an hour in a half away from home. They were right on top of it. I have had to use them a couple times in last couple months. They were very quick and professional. I have Geico roadside insurance and when I need a tow I request them by name.

We were in a very bad situation at 10:30 at night when we needed to have a boat and trailer flat bedded as the trailer would not work. Cody and Chris were very professional, prompt, and highly reasonable for the work they had to do. We weren t able to get to the final destination until 2am and they were very thorough during the whole procedure. They made a very stressful experience better and I would highly recommend TowAway for any future services. Anthony also moved the boat/trailer a few days later for us to a marina. My experience with tow-away was truly superb. They skillfully picked up my van and I chose to bring it to their repair facility and their repair team was fantastic. Geico interfaced with them seamlessly and now TowAway LLC is in my phone, as my go to folks.

Had to have my bmw towed while on vacation in Lake George. Never before have I had a tow truck driver who was so professional and courteous. If I could give ten stars I would!!

I was stranded in an out of the way place at Rte 4 and Table Rock Rd. north of Ft Ann, NY having left Saratoga Springs on my way to vacation at Killington, VT late on a Friday afternoon. My front brakes of my 2008 Chevy Equinox, which had been in a local garage for repair that very morning, locked up, rendered a burning smell and lots of heat and bringing the car to a throbbing stop. Call Triple AAA, TowAway came to the rescue quickly and before the appointed time. He raised the locked up front wheels off the ground and placed rollers on the rears. We hopped in the tow truck and were off to, luckily, Ross Chevrolet in Whitehall, still open early Friday evening. TowAway man backed the car in to a spot so service could retrieve car easily and start repairs on Saturday! Great job by TowAway in rescuing us on our vacation. A family member already at Killington picked us up Fri evening so the vacation could resume!

I made arrangements for a tow a day in advance and was told I would receive a call by 1 or 2 pm on the day of the tow with a specific time. I never received a call and I took the day off from work. I finally called them at 3 pm and was told they could not tow the car because the car was too low . When asked what I should do now, the only response was to call my insurance company. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and will not use or recommend them.

The way I see it you owe me money. Had an accident on pearl street on friday and the pd called aaa. Driver from TOWAWAY LLC said he would bring it to his lot, understood temporary, after i told him it needed to go to bodies by jay. I called Bodies by Jay monday and asked about my car. The woman was confused. I called TOWAWAY. Apparently my car was still there and being charged storage fees. No mention was made of any storage fees. I have been in touch with geico to get it out of here. Bodys by Jay is confused as to why this was done and a complaint will be filed to the hfpd and aaa. Towaway rolled back the storage charges. If he had followed my initial instructions my car would be estimated, now i must wait until next tuesday. Thank you dave. Your little game to rack up storage fees cost me rental fees that the insurance didnt pick up and the use of my tow hitch for a week. Your friends explanation didnt ring of truth and wasnt what he told me earlier.

Couldnt be happier with my experience with TowAway LLC. One of our plow trucks went off a customers driveway and slid down an icy slope about 100 from the driveway. There was no direct way to pull us out so it took a while to get the truck out. The driver was quick to arrive, friendly, and professional. We chose TowAway over a more local company (just down the road) because of hearing about some not so great experiences with the local company. The truck was pulled out carefully and methodically with no damage to the truck or property. We definitely will use TowAway again and recommend them to everyone we know.

The young guy towed me from Lake George to selkirk. He was so nice. I definitely would ask for him again.

I called tow away towing after an accident and they arrived 5 min after the cops. And I called them 5 min after calling for a trooper.

They were fast and professional I called AAA and was told it was going to be at least an hour if not closer to 2 and they were there in 30 minutes. The driver was professional and friendly. It is never fun having your car towed but TowAway was professional, friendly, clean and warm. What else can you ask for ona cold winter day.

Called them to set up a tow when my trucks clutch went out. I called a message in the morning initially and didnt hear from them. No big deal, that happens with businesses fairly regularly. I called them again in the afternoon and got a response. We talked prices, they were reasonable, and discussed their availability since I was still looking for a garage to work on the truck. The company representative told me they were busy that day, and it would take about an hour from when I called back to pick up the truck. Sent their contact info to my employee that was handling the situation. Once the repair location was arranged later that evening, he tried to set up a pickup time with them, they said they would call him back. They never did. He called them again a few hours later. They said they were still busy and they would call him back. They never got back to him that night. Tried to contact them the next day and still nothing. Set it up through another local company. They wasted half a day of my employees time and we never heard back from them. That is no way to do business. I understand if you are busy. Tell me you cant do it or at least return a call. I dont like to leave bad reviews, but this warrants one.

Just got home ten minutes ago from being stuck in a terrible icy blizzard. Called my roadside assistance and they sent TowAway. These guys got me on a winch and got me right out. Very friendly (despite being an extremely busy night for them). They got me out of a bad jam, I highly recommend them.
