Outstanding from the first phonecall to being checked out and paying. The manager Carl, Ed and his 2 mechanics physically showed me damage and caught things a previous inspection at Jiffy on Fairview missed. They passed 2 bald tires one with a nail causing slow leakage, and outright lied about metal coming through 2 front tires. I could only afford to do 2 tires. As a team they triaged my tires and rotation for the absolute safest outcome. This is on top of discounts and financial help to get me out the door safely. As a nurse who travels they took impeccable care of me with honesty and integrity. A truely wonderful experience. I will ONLY trust and have these gentlemen work on my car from here on out. Mavis in Hudson...new wonderful manager Godfather Ed and a wonderful team of perfect gentlemen. 6 stars!

If I could give 10 stars I would . Went there for an inspection and the guy doing the inspection was very thorough. Removed all wheels and checked brakes for me and all of my tires and fluids. He went above and beyond. Went super smooth and very satisfied A++++++ Mojo is theeee best !!!!

I physically called and made an appointment a half hour before the appointment. I was called and told they were booked for the day and that the person who made the appointment did not know the schedule or what they were talking about. I planned my day around this appointmentand it was canceled without a second thought or consideration of my time maybe they shouldnt have people scheduling appointments that dont know what they are talking about or the schedule.

I started off at this mavis because another location did my tires and didn t put them on all the way. These guys got me in right away, fixed it at no cost and assured I could come back with any other issues or I felt things were still off. I ve been back twice since, for other routine work, and they have been amazing to work with every time. Patient, friendly, honest and hard working. It can be hard to find reliable care for your car, but I highly recommend this mavis location; great management!

John and Jake really took care of me and my car. I came in with a pretty tall order but it just got bigger as the parts were being changed. John helped me with getting my car care paid that was I wasnt destitute after all that was wrong. I was with them for roughly 4 hours but they updated me as they made progress and kept me in the loop. I highly recommend coming to Mavis in Hudson. Great team.

After a day from hell, I stopped here bc my tire pressure had dropped by ten pounds in a matter of 4 hours. With an 3 hour car ride looming, I knew it was not a good idea to drive like this. Mavis Tire on Fairview Avenue in Greenport is under new management as of this summer and is now an awesome tire and auto repair shop! Service is quick, helpful, and store management is very polite. I used to avoid going to this auto shop, but have now had 3 in-a-row good experiences for the tires on my car, and an emergency auto fix this last summer where the mechanics got the failed alternator on my car changed out on a Sunday. Thats priceless. Thank you Mavis Tire!

Anthony was fantastic! I was having an issue with my tires on the way back to Long Island from Vermont so I stopped over in Hudson, NY. Anthony found the needed tires from another location, arranged for the delivery and replaced the tires the same day. He knew I needed to continue the travel back home asap so he expedited the repair. He is also a super nice guy!

Had tires put on a car and for some reason the car would shake. Had the tires re-balanced and there was still a shake. Once I brought the car to another shop, they took the tires off the rims and found out that there was water inside the tires and that that s why they would not balance properly.

I was next door picking up a pizza and realized I had a flat tire I went I and ask Travis the young man behind the counter for help, he was very sweet and helpful put air in the tire for me found the little leak and plugged the tire. He took the time to listen to me and was genuine a rare service now a days. I greatly appreciate his help and will be back soon for a new set of tires, I like how they treat their customers. I came in today for a flat repair. I was greeted in a professional manner by the manager at the front desk. We went and looked at my car and he advised me that due to the condition of my other tires, he recommended that I replace all 4 tires and also get an alignment. Thank god he took the time to actually inspect my other tires instead of taking the quick way. I purchased all new tires and got the alignment done. The service was great and they got me in and out of there a lot quicker than I thought it would be. Great team at this location and I will definitely be returning for future services

Had a 4 Tire Alignment done and yet I have bad uneven wear on my front tires. Not sure if they actually did the Alignment or not because I had the same wear before I went there with brand new tires for that last Alignment, or if they didnt tighten the nuts up enough, if they should have put thread locker but didnt. I partially blame NY roads even though I avoided the rough (patch-job) edges as much as possible. NY, where does our tax money go? Overseas? Or into signs that say Rough Road? I also do partially blame Mavis, because the job couldve been done better, wether in execution or through the use of Thread Locker. I dont know how people are accepting of doing jobs in a way that is NOT to the best of their abilities. Behind the scenes there and at many businesses... Im sure the whispers are Why take a little longer to do it correctly, then take a little longer to undo the nuts with Thread Locker next time...¿Its job security, plus we SELL TIRES! Sad fact is that theres motive to NOT do a good job wether or not its at the forefront of their minds, or subconscious, its an issue. I bought the tires elsewhere, then drove an hour to them because my mechanic who put the tires on and balanced them forgot to do the Alignment. Which apparently has been told to many people who got tires from North East Muffler in Millerton, NY. Zero trust breaks relationships real fast. Here are photos of my tires, and labeled.

On October 21st, I found myself far from home, stranded on the highway after a blowout. After managing to get the spare tire on, I quickly realized there was an issue with it. Desperation set in, but I was fortunate to find a Mavis Tire in Chatham, NY. Unfortunately, the manager there said he couldn t help as he was busy and wanted to leave at six. Running out of options, I called another Mavis in Hudson, NY, about 20 minutes away. That s when I encountered Mike Bulger, the manager of the Mavis in Hudson NY who turned out to be nothing short of a superhero. He told me to come on over, but not long into my drive, the spare tire gave out. When I called Mike to let him know I was still far away and couldn t make it, he didn t hesitate he got in his personal vehicle and came to the rescue! Mike met me on the side of the road, helped with the rim, and personally drove me to his Mavis location. His team was incredibly friendly and jumped into action as soon as we arrived. They understood how stressful things were, and within no time, the tire tech had the rim inside, while Mike helped me pick out a new tire. Once it was mounted and balanced, Mike went the extra mile, literally by driving me back to my car and even offering to help install the tire. I can t express how grateful I am for Mike Bulger and the team at Mavis in Hudson, NY. They went above and beyond, turning what could have been a nightmare into a truly wonderful experience. If you re ever in need, these are the people you want in your corner! Thanks again to Mike and his amazing team!

In the middle of a camping trip to Glimmerglass when I noticed a shimmy in the steering column. I googled a tire shop near me and came to Mavis Tires. They were able to get me 2 new tires right then. Very friendly, knowledgeable , quick service. I m very pleased to be back on my camping trip in quick time.

These guys are so kind and helpful . Answered all my questions , helped me with a problem with one of my tires and I left with a reservation to change out a full set in the fall when they are fully worn .

I phoned on Monday about. State inspection. They said come in tomorrow - we have two mechanics in. I said do I need to book? They said no, come in any time! I go in at 09:30 Tuesday and they say sorry no state inspections today, our mechanic isn t in . Here s an idea - why don t you book people in and take their details, so you can call them to cancel if your mechanic calls in sick, rather than wasting people s time. I had driven down with my infant child, and had to wait 20mins in line while the person in front of me told their life story, only to be told the service I had been told could be carried out less than 24hrs previously was no longer available. What an absolute joke of a company. The customer service in general in America is appalling compared to the Uk, but this is a new low. Timewasting, slack jawed, morons

Quick and efficient service by the Manager and the shop tech Roy (Ray?) plugging tire. Tire tech was missing so the manager himself stepped in and did the work. Would give 10 stars if I could. Great and good people.

I came into the store at the last minute last night because I had a slow leak in one of my tires. The manager, Alan, came out and looked at my car and advised me that there was a screw in my tire that was close to the sidewall of the tire. He advised me that the tire was unrepairable and explained why. After pulling the car into the shop, they brought me out to the shop to show me that the rest of my tires were unsafe because there was not a lot of tread left on them. Even being that they were about ready to close in 10 minutes, Alan, and the guys in the shop stayed late to change all four of my tires to ensure the safety of myself and my children in my car. I can t thank this place enough for what they did for me. Top notch professional and fast service. Any other place would not have done that being so close to closing time. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back for future service on my car.

I had gone out of town yesterday. On my way back, I blew a tire - a piece of metal in the road I did not see. I managed to get to a safe place and thanks to the kindness of total strangers in a town I was unfamiliar with, a garage was called for me and a mechanic was able to put my dougnut tire on for me. I was at least an hour away from home and thankfully, Mavis, was still open when I got there. The entire staff was very kind and was able to get a new tire on my car. I did not have to wait very long either - even though it was busy, the cars were being serviced in a timely manner.

Called and got a price for $820 went to drop it off they told me it s gunna be $1150 tried to walk away guy said they can do it flat for $950 called today now they don t know how they did that it costs $1050 and they haven t even started the work yet

Tried getting new brakes and an oil change waited for the next day got there no tickets was made so now I had to wait and then I double Checked on the price cause I felt like something fishy was going on so turns out the price doubled so I had to leave with three days of work missed for brakes and a oil change

I went in there not knowing anything about cars and they told me what needs to be done and I agreed cause they said it needs to be done and won t break the bank over $1,000 and the bill ended up being over $3,000 I told them I couldn t pay that why didn t you ask me before going over the price. In tears they made me sign up for their credit card payment plan which felt like a set up the whole time. Be wary of these monsters

Chris and the team down here at mavis did great getting my trailer tires on the rims. The tires gave them a hard time because of the ply of the tire but Chris and the team did great.

Three confirmations of an appointment for a state inspection, including a call at 11 am today and I arrived at 2 pm to find out the inspector had left an hour before. It then took TWO HOURS AND 40 MINUTES for a tire rotation and an over priced oil change. Nearly 13 USD a quart for full synthetic oil and that was with a$20.00 discount because I brought my own filter. The waiting area is not comfortable!

Don t come here for a simple tire change because they can t change 17 steel wheels.

There was a worker standing outside the shop turning customers away and telling them they were too busy when i had an appointmentscheduled . Went to a different got done in under 1 hour. I showed up 20 minutes early for my appointment. For nearly 10 MINUTES (this is not an estimation or exaggeration I timed it I almost left) I stood behind the only person in line with no acknowledgement of my existence. None. Well after she steps away from the counter the the guy finally says hi tells me it will be 80 for an oil change and takes my keys. An hour and 30 minutes later my car is still not done. This is the second time in a row it has taken over 45 minutes for an oil change with an appointment. I should have taken it 2 stores down to jiffy lube. Its cheaper and at least an hour and 20 minutes faster. They said they are 3 guys down, you think they would have told me it was going to be a VERY long time before they got to me before taking my keys. I will not be coming back.

Every time I go to this place they have me waiting for 6 hours to do anything. I came in for tires, they gave me a promised quote that morning but when I got there charged me way more. They tried to charge me over $1000 in work despite telling them I m only there for tires and want nothing else. Then waiting for hours just to get the tires put on. There s another person here complaining because it s been hours for him to just get an oil change!

They were very helpful after 3 other tries with other garages. I had nail in my tire and was told by other garage I had to replace. Chris at Mavis was able to FIS my tire with plug did not need a new tire! They were honest and fixed it in 5min. I will be back very respectful and friendly! Thank you all at Mavis!

Made an appointment. Why make an appointment- if you make the customer wait around for 4 hours to have the job completed because you take in walk-ins too that ends up backing up the work load. I have been going to different Mavis for years. This is one of the best locations honestly! Fast service, and very affirmative. Mike was professional and very knowledgeable.

My son made arrangements for new tires for my car. I called to secure an appointment, they had no idea what o was talking about. I made the appointment and then called back to make sure they had the right tires. The next day I went in and they AGAIN had no idea who it was, or why I was there . I told them that I would be getting my tires someplace else, he (Corey) said o.k. How do they go business?

After having a tire fail while in Hudson, this was the first tire center close to us. They had the Michelin tires that I wanted for my truck in stock (I have 20 inch rims). They were backed up putting tires on others that were ahead of us, but did an efficient job. Pricing was competitive.

I needed snow tires for My Granddaughter, Who goes to college in the Snow Belt. Called Sunday , They ordered Them with a discount. They came in the next day. Very efficient and courteous ! We were in and out and very satisfied !

10/10 recommend! Went in to get my state inspection, the usual guy that does inspections was off that day, but the guy at the counter (gauges, beard, nice smile) said I could come back the next day at 8 and they would get me in immediately. And he did! The inspection was quick and cost $21. I had a $20 bill and was gonna put the $1 on my card (silly I know) but the same nice smiled man found me a $1 coupon to save me the trouble. I will definitely be going back in the future!

We were so pleasantly surprised with our experience at Mavis. We had an issue with our back tire and Corey was so helpful and accommodating. We were in and out in less than 45 min! Highly recommend.

31/2 hrs for an oil change an rotate tires that to long that one my second car oil change and new tires 2 hours

Corey was so helpful and respectful, went out of his way to come outside and make sure we were completely pleased with our service before leaving the property .. which we were because of how we were treated by this man went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of will be returning and telling family and friends to go there thank you for the wonderful service corey

We had a blown tire out of no where and did not have much time to spare because we had appointments elsewhere that were very important and couldn t miss. Luckily the amazing Corey was there he got us in and out within 20 minutes and gave us a great deal. We got to our appointment on time and will be recommending this Mavis to all of our friends and families.

I was terrified to go here after years of terrible experiences. Wow what a difference! Corey and the new team have really turned this place around! I showed up expecting my average day long ordeal to get a tire fixed. Corey told me to sit tight and he had my tire replaced in 10 minutes. Back on the road for my entire company and truck! I didn t even have time to go shopping! I strongly encourage people to give this business another chance

Mike, Connor and Travis have been amazing! I had a blowout on the highway by myself. Loads of fun. Got a fabulous tow truck driver to take me to Mavis where I purchase my tires originally. They simply looked it up and took care of business. Kept the place open for me a little late just to get it all done and me on the road. Cant thank these guys enough. Love love love

Service was fast, staff is friendly & knowledgeable. I decided to leave my car at the shop while I walked my dog, they called me throughout the time my car was being serviced to give updates, service options, and pricing.

Great experience. I had a blown out tire and my spare was not good either got a ride to the store to try to get it fixed and employee at the counter said bring the tire in. He took it and diagnosis right away and said they could repair it. After short time tire was fixed and I was on my way. I have never been to this Mavis since I live hour or so away but your team is top notch. I will need new tires in the next few months and I am going to travel the hour just because of your service and give you my business thanks

Ive always had amazing service here. Travis and his team go way above and beyond whats expected of them. Ive been surprised at the lengths theyll go to provide excellent customer service. I was waiting once and saw someone come in without a reservation but needed help immediately. The crew was already completely booked, but Travis called around to other businesses in the area to find someone to help this person out. One time the computer in my Tesla froze up and wouldnt go into service mode for them. They cleaned and lubricated the brakes, but the car wouldnt allow them to remove the pads for inspection, so they didnt charge me because they couldnt complete the job. . I saw them help fix a garden wagon wheel! They really take customer service seriously.

Poor customer service experience today. I thought I needed break pads changed and I was told the wait is not long at all. I had a long to do list for the day and wanted to plan accordingly. An hour passes my car is not yet in the shop. I ask about the time again, get same answer. Four hours later my car is done, out in front of the shop and I hear (I think Mike) doing a spot job interview with someone, then he goes outside to inspect someone else s car, etc. I mention the poor time estimate when I m paying and Mike (with a smile on his face) says I thought it was just break pads, but you needed rotors in a weak attempt to explanation. Hey Mike, there s nothing funny about thinking people s time is not valuable, you apparently think their business is also not valuable. That s quite alright, there are a dozen shops in the area that may think differently.
