So blessed to have Pete’s auto 10 min away from my home, but in all honesty, if travel a hour just for their service! Needed a tow, they were there ASAP. Needed last min oil change after being turned away by others, they scheduled me for next day service first thing in the morning. Recently replaced the tires for my son’s car, and I couldn’t have felt more secure than doing it with them. Pete’s auto is always on top of things and so trusting! I would gladly recommend their service to anyone on the mountaintop or nearby! Thank you so so much! Wish I came to you guys sooner!

This shop was amazing got me back on the road in less than 5hrs of dropping it off. They pulled my bumper out and re aligned my tires even though they don’t do body work they were able to. Accommodate my needs to get me back on the road since I have to drive back to Jersey and I didn’t want to tow the truck off the mountain and then wait there since it was early after noon on a Friday. They did an amazing job. Great customer service Very reasonable in price. Highly recommend.
Woke up to a cranky diesel engine that wouldn't start on Christmas morning. After a few calls, I found Pete's Towing, James arrived in 30 minutes, confirmed by fuel lines were gelled up and towed it back to the shop. 90 minutes in a warm shop later, we were on the way back home. I think this is a family owned business and they took the time and empathy to help get my family back home despite it being Christmas morning. Top notch!

My pickup truck was not starting and I didn't know if I should get it towed back to my house or to the dealer where I bought it since it was under warranty. I was really upset... not sure what to do or who to call. I was alone.... but near home. Left the truck on Main Street and got a ride home with Dawn, from Dawn to Dusk and she said, "call Pete, and then call AAA". Pete was so great on the phone. I explained the situation when I went back to my truck later in the day. Had me try to start it again and I called him back to let him know it wouldn't turn over. Called AAA for a tow, which was done by Pete's. Pete's tow truck driver put my truck on a flatbed and brought it to the dealer. I felt such a sense of relief and knew my pickup was in good hands. Thank you Pete for your sense of calm on a crazy morning/afternoon. Thanks for walking me off my "ledge" when I felt alone and confused. So happy with the professional and friendly service you and your tow truck guy provided to me.
Pete and his family operated business are honest, courteous and quite helpful. I had a flat tire while my car was parked in my garage at home. Even though I have 24 hour road service through my car insurance, of which my last experience re a dead battery took over 4 hours for the insurance co. to get to my house to jump start, I contacted Pete instead of using my road assistance. In LESS than an hour, Anthony (very nice) came with a flat bed truck, brought my car to the shop, repaired the flat tire that had a nail in it and then brought my car back to my garage. My insurance will reimburse me for part of the charge, but well worth the piece of mind and expediency that was not covered that I will pay out of pocket. KUDOS to Pete and his crew!!!

Pete saved me! I had a break seize on the day I was set to leave town for Canada. Pete took mercy on me while my wife and 3 month baby hung out in Fellow coffee. He prioritized the work after hearing I was stuck in town with my daughter, and we were on the road mid afternoon. He is a good man. We don t know what we would have done without him. Above and beyond what you would expect from a mechanic.

We were visiting from out of town and had a flat tire. Pete was able to order a tire and have it installed within a day. Price was reasonable and service was friendly.

After calling and searching for a good mechanic in the area we kept hearing not today or we cant help you that all changed when we called Pete. Pete sent over a tow truck right away and worked on the vehicle on the spot. Its only a few hours since we called and thanks to the tremendous service from Pete we are back on the road! Was an out of towner up for the weekend in Windham when I ended up with a puncture on my Subaru Outback. Based on reviews, went to Petes as soon as they opened and was super glad I did. Staff was courteous and professional; showed me the screw that was embedded in my tire. Service was very prompt and Pete was a cool dude.
Dont bother going here. They dont keep appointments and will keep you waiting around.

Best Auto Repair on the mountain top, by far. My family has taken their cars here since the 80s, and Ive personally taken all of my cars here for the last 20 years. Ive never had a problem with any of the work completed on my vehicles, the pricing has always been fair and in a lot of cases, less than other shops in the area would charge, and most importantly, the work is always done right.

Don t go here. My truck broke down and they towed it. They told me it was fixed, I paid for it and I took it home and the same problem happened when I went to start it. (Would turn over but not start) I go back in and Pete tells me I must be STARTING IT WRONG! He spoke to me like I was a child. I left there and went to a real mechanic that rebuilt the carburetor. So, they not only didn t solve the problems at Pete s, he told me it was my fault!?! Bad service. Bad attitude. Bad mechanic.

Super friendly and helpful folks. I was having some car issues and they helped me out very quickly, for minimal cost (I didnt have a great sense what it should cost so they couldve taken advantage but absolutely did not) and I was back on the slopes in no time!
I just wanted to give a big big thank you to James. We were stuck in the mud and thought we were never going to get out till James came to the rescue. He was very fast, knowledgeable and efficient. Thank you again.

These guys are great and have provided me with awesome customer experience. I was visiting the area for few days and needed to get my punctured tire repaired. They were very quick for Saturday morning and did an excellent job! I would definitely recommend them!

Petes Auto shop is very reasonable with his prices and honest. A local mechanic had my car for 2 weeks and couldnt repair it until I contacted Petes and towed it to his shop and found out the problem in 2 days. Goes out of his way for his customers!!!!
For Petes Sake:) I made it home because of this guy! The only two of the five lug nuts came loose while cruising up the mountain. We could have lost a tire and perhaps even our lives. Thanks Pete and crew for being the ONLY place to stay open past noon on a Saturday afternoon and at a fair price as well. Good guy and likes it better when people dont sleep late - he will get that joke - we had a few laughs while waiting for my ride!

I was on my way to Hunter Mountain when my car started to shake, rumble and slow down. I barely got up the mountain. I came in an hour before closing and the team went to see me right away. They found the problem quickly, but they even offered to drive me to the mountain if the problem was more severe. Pete is great and so are the guys that work there.

These guys stayed open after hours to fix my car after skiing at Hunter mountain. Apparently the previous shop screwed up an oil change and my car leaked oil. Pete took my car in, fixed it, and got me on the road in no time!
We drove up during the heavy winter storm and the car got overheated. I took it to Petes on a Saturday morning. He examined it right away, figured out the problem, ordered the part and was able to fix it the first thing Monday morning. Every time I mentioned to the locals that my car was at Petes, I was assured by everyone that he is trust worthy and my car was in good hands. I really dont know what I would have done without him.
