Called for assistance , was told 45 minutes. I should have been priority since I’m a type 1 diabetic whose blood sugar is dropping and don’t have emergency food with me a toddler at home who needs her mother.

I needed to have my car towed ten (10) miles from my house to my AutoShop. I asked how much it would cost and they said they couldn't give me an exact price. Although they knew where the car was going and how far it was. So they said it would be around $255,minimum. I felt the price was high for a 10 mile tow, Especially, but the possibility of being charged even more. So I ended up getting it towed for a flat rate of a $150.
Like most people, I rely heavily on reviews but never write them myself. I don’t know if anyone at Hendrickson actually checks their reviews, but Scott S. assisted me with a tow earlier this evening and he was absolutely amazing. Whoever his boss is, this is for you: he is a tremendous asset to your organization and deserves praise. Getting a flat is a horrible situation to be put in, but Scott S. made it as relaxed and stress free as possible. Obviously, I hope I’ll never need your services again, but if I ever do, I’m requesting him by name. My suggestion to others who find themselves in a similar situation is to do the same. Out of 3 other mechs Darnell (Army Vet) was able to promptly chase down an electrical gremlin (tractor to trailer power/ light issue) in a 2023 Freightshaker Cascadia (in a random parking lot at night) using a superior knowledge of fundamental functions, and a humble understanding of changes, and advancements to correct and stabilize the issue; and all with a great attitude in the process!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
They showed up and loaded my Older RV with care took it to my home and parked it on my driveway. Price was very fair.
I am 100% satisfied with the service I received from my driver named Will. He was truly my knight in shining armor (tow truck armor). Will was very polite, professional, and he put me at ease. Having a handsome driver is a bonus too! If I'm ever in need of roadside assistance again, Will is my preferred driver to see again.

Showed up less than an hour from calling. I needed a jump start on a motorhome w a diesel engine. They sent a truck that had a gas powered battery charger/ jump start unit. Tech was professional.

We were supposed to get a call to schedule a day for towing our car to the autobody shop from our home after an accident. They showed up unannounced. When my husband said to the driver I was supposed to get a call to schedule a day the driver was rude and unprofessional. He told my husband oh well Ill leave it here then. Yes, you will leave it here as we still had to empty the truck and did not ask you to come that morning. Would not recommend this company after the encounter with their rude driver, Ozzy.

Answered call for a tow late in the evening telling me they would be there within 20 minutes, showed up in under 15 minutes. Driver was very professional, and cost was exactly as quoted. I wish I would have called them several hours earlier instead of waiting for AAA that never showed up.
Responsive, Reliable, Efficient, but Expensive!
Went through insurance for a tow today. Was told it would be 90 minutes. 105 minutes in I call they said wait another 30 minutes they would be there, so 40 mins go by and they tell me another 20 minutes they would be there, driver shows up 30 minutes after that. So all in all over three hours I waited for when I was told an hour and a half. I wouldnt have cared if they communicated with me that it would be that long, but each time I called they gave me the wrong time. Driver also ended up at the wrong shop. Luckily I knew the guy at the shop and was able to point him in the right direction. The driver was friendly, and so was the staff. I get being busy, but I also would like to get some communication.

Poor unloading of all wheel drive car stuck in park. driver did not put car in neutral after he was told it was an all wheel. Lazy attitude driver had and not professional. His name is Nick.
Perhaps the best towing experience I ve ever had. Extremely professional and refreshingly honest. I called Geico for a tow and they called Hendrickson s. While waiting for the truck the dispatch called to let me know that the driver had an emergency call from the police that they had to respond to first. The dispatcher was honest and apologized. She even offered to call Geico to cancel on my behalf. I said I would call. While I was on the phone the dispatcher called me back. She had another driver could get to me in 30 minutes. When he arrived he was extremely professional, neat and polite! Great job all around!

Got a flat at 1am. I called them as I attempted to jack the car myself with the little jack. It was cold and before I know it they were there in 25 mins! Luckily they were close! Great job will recommend
Stuck at 11pm said 99 minutes driver at 1 hour 20mins later and says he is queens called and said hates when dispatch lies to customer and apologize driver was super nice . I could have got a tow from another company. What a waste of time just I do not recommend them.

Above Excellent Service...After an unfortunate mechanical issue with my vehicle during the July 4 the weekend, I was in need of towing service from Huntington to Franklin Square... not exactly around the corner. I was requesting a following day pick up and a flat bed to get my car to my mechanic. I was told by my insurance carrier that arrangements were made with Hendrickson Emergency Service/Islandia to service my needs. At precisely 10 am the following day, Michael a tow truck operator arrived with a flat bed and began to access my needs. He was patient, knowledgeable and handled my vehicle with great care. His expertise totally alleviated any concerns I had, allowing a stressful event to easy and relaxing. I would highly recommend Hendrickson Emergency Service/Islandia , more specifically Michael for satisfying your towing needs. Excellent employee!!
This is a great tow service As they say you get what you pay for My car lost it s alternator belt and I was stuck on the shoulder of the expressway about 5 miles from house at midnight. I called it in to the dispatch service The operator was there in 10 minutes, he called ahead to tell me he was on the way. Jonny Ayala was polite and courteous. Got it loaded and in my driveway trouble free and totally professional. I would highly recommend I know who I will call when I m ever in a pinch needing a tow.

Had a Dead battery just before a storm was supposed to hit and they contracted through my insurance to come and replace it. After about an hour my insurance called me back saying they changed their mind (probably upon realizing that I already had a replacement battery and they wouldn t be able to sell me a new one). I managed to get a jump and get home, but now I m snowed in with a dead battery and a baby not knowing how I ll get out tomorrow. The height of unprofessionalism in my book.
Scammers. They tell you one price over the phone given all the details and then change the price once their services are rendered...and late. They also told me if I paid cash, theres no tax but then charged me tax despite me paying cash once they arrived. I feel bad for the driver, who was super nice, because I didnt have enough cash to give him a tip but the supervisor Scott is a real scam artist.
