Came by same day to investigate some noises our steam radiators were maker. Was realistic about what can be fixed and what cant be fixed without replacing the entire system. I paid $420 w/tax for his 40 minutes stay(including making invoice). Appointment was bet 8 am to 10 am. He text me at 9:10am said schedule move to 12 pm to 2. I had to come from nj to flushing in order to keep appointment through morning traffic. No apologies heard. My hours is worth as much as your hourly charge.

Air Tactical HVAC did a great job installing my split type air conditioner. The service manager, George A., and his brother Nick were professional, knowledgeable and polite. George went above and beyond to fix a previous installation error, finding a better spot for the indoor unit, which has greatly improved cooling efficiency. These guys are super cool and highly recommended.

George and Carlos are the best HVAC team out there! They can handle the most complicated jobs, and never give up. I am so glad that I found them, and recommend them to anyone who asks for an HVAC contractor.

Cant give zero stars so this will do. Dont understand how this company has more than 1 star based on my experience with them. Air Tactical HVAC is unprofessional, no response and royal waste of time. Had an appointment this morning between 8am and 10am. Received a reminder to confirm appointment yesterday which I did and received a reminder before my appointment this morning. No show, no call, nothing by 10am. I called around 1030am and left a voicemail which said well return your call and not waste your time to wait for someone to speak to (how ironic). It is now 945pm and Ive yet to hear from them. Why send appointment confirmations and reminders when you cannot follow through? FYI - If youre going to use an automated system, you actually need to put it to use. Time is valuable just like yours is and its clear that Air Tactical HVAC has no respect for that. Air Tactical HVAC is mismanaged and needs to learn some customers service skills. They didnt even have the courtesy to call and say we cant make it today or were running late. Youd think they were doing me a favor by stopping by to give me a quote. Air Tactical HVAC does not value my business and honestly its their loss. Good thing I set up another appointment right after and yes, the other company actually showed up and I received professional service. Will be going with them for my mini split installation!

I have never had an experience with a company that was so unresponsive. They have been promising for literally weeks to send me an agreement after a 1 hour visit to my property to document our equipment (which cost me $350). Most days no one answers the phone at all, and no one responds to emails. When I do get someone on the phone they promise to send me the agreement and then nothing happens and the cycle starts again. I finally gave up and called another company that answered the phone immediately, and then visited my building and got me an agreement the same day. Dont waste your time with these guys.

George was very knowledgeable and professional. He didnt try to push us into any unnecessary work and actually advised against bandaid solutions that wouldnt have solved the issue, definitely has integrity. I would trust them to handle any issues we have in the future. And I love that theyre a family owned business!

I cannot stress enough how incredible Air Tactical HVAC Services is. My boiler recently decided to crap out on us in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT during the winter (28 degrees outside for reference). After about an hour of me troubleshooting our boiler, I called Air Tactical and they were literally at my house in 30 minutes and said don t worry, I won t leave until we get your heat fixed . Not only did George (From Air Tactical) resolve the issue, but he personally reached out to me the next day to ask how everything is running. If I could give this company a million stars, I would. They are truly amazing.

My husband and I cant say enough wonderful things about this company!!! Our Central Air stopped working yesterday, we have a contract with Homeserve for our AC and the soonest they would sent a tech is 5 days from now! I called Air Tactical who has 56 5 Star reviews on Yelp, and now I know why. The owner George himself answered the phone I told him we had no AC since yesterday, Although they were so so busy George himself said he would help us!! He himself with a Wonderful tech, Carlos, came to our home within 45 minutes and fixed the unit!!! He took pictures in my attic of the problems, showed them to us and did not try to sell me anything more!!! In this day and age it is very very difficult to find anyone who provides a service to be so honest,reasonable, prompt, eager to help you, friendly, clean, followed safety precautions and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE!!!! Its difficult to find a good HVAC professional who can install a heat pump in New York. Im glad we were able to find Air Tactical. George and Carlos helped me install a Bosch heat pump to replace our old A/C unit and gas boiler. They did an amazing job. George takes the time to explain all the pros and cons of the heat pump as well as walked me through everything I needed to know regarding servicing and upkeep. They were very professional, cleaned up their workspace before they left, and always on time. I will be using Air Tactical going forward for all my HVAC needs.

I initially had Air Tactical help with installing a humidifier, but the guys have been back to do a number of repairs and improvements to a system that was sloppily installed by my contractor when our house was built. If only I had known about Air Tactical when I was building this house, it would have saved us a lot of money and aggravation. The best characteristic of George and Carlos is that they are problem solvers and leave you with the confidence that your system will be up and running when they leave. It s frankly an attribute that seems to be becoming more and more rare when having work done in your house. Highly recommend these guys!

George & Carlos were great! The Air Tactical team was professional, communicative, and timely. They also went the extra mile to triple check that my furnace was operating safely and smoothly before they left. I had not had a furnace tune-up in a long time, and they quickly identified what needed to be fixed so that the furnace could work well in preparation for the winter. They also went to great lengths to find a replacement for my gas valve, which had been an older model that was difficult to track down. Overall, an amazing team!

My mothers AC was not working and she lives 200 miles away from me, I ve called multiple places and it seemed like they were not interested to take the job or were not available. My mother does not know English so I continued to call other companies hoping they can cooperate with me over the phone. After a couple of calls, George from Air Tactical helped me out. EXCELLENT job and customer service. They came the next day as requested to repair central AC not working well during a heat wave. The technician (George) arrived on time, was very professional and knowledgeable re: his expertise. He quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it without having to return. George was very professional and informative. He fixed the issue super quick - his trained eye spotted the issue the moment he walked in to the boiler. He also answered a ton of questions we had and was very informative and helped us understand the heating system and what all the parts did. Highly recommended.

My home is now nice and warm thanks to George and Carlos. When my furnace was making a troubling noise , I called Air Tactical Hvac at about 1 PM. George gave me an appointment for that afternoon between 3 an 5. They arrived promptly and asked me to describe what was happening as George opened the furnace door. Before I finished, he had found the problem: the fan & motor. George said he would do his very best to get the part on Saturday since I now had no heat. Early Saturday morning George called to say he was picking up the parts and would be over soon. Just about 24 hours after he arrived to diagnose the problem, it was fixed. George & Carlos stayed for about a half an hour to make sure everything was working fine. George even called Monday the ask if all was OK. I would heartily recommend their service to anyone.

The website says get a free quote, yet when you speak to them on the phone, they want to change you $75.00 to have someone come to the house get you a quote. That is not a FREE quote. False advertising!

Contacted AirTactical HVAC Services to repair a cracked hot water tank at my property. George the foreman handled everything for me (acquired the new tank + delivered it to the site). Him and his assistant Nick did a great and very professional job! He triple checked for leaks and made sure everything was running 100% before leaving. This was all done on extremely short notice, and I was very pleased! Highly recommend!!

I simply cant say enough positive things about George and the team at Air Tactical HVAC. Honest, hardworking, extremely nice and they will go out of their way to make sure the job is done right! I came home after two weeks away in January to my boiler not working and no heat (during freezing temps). I called Air Tactical HVAC based on their positive Yelp reviews. George arrived within an hour (despite the late hour) and discovered that my aging boiler was cracked and needed to be replaced. He explained the issue in great detail and showed me that it was leaking. He gave me a fair price for replacement (I researched and his quote was in line with with average price for NYC) and he was able to track down a new boiler and install it within a couple days. Despite several challenges due to my aging house (faulty wiring, complex plumbing, etc.), George and Angelo were patient and persistent. They had to build the boiler from scratch and rewire the thermostat, but did not charge me any additional labor costs despite it taking two full days. I will ABSOLUTELY use Air Tactical HVAC for all my future HVAC needs. In fact, I have already hired them to vacuum out my dryer vent, which was extremely clogged and they repaired my dryer vent cover free of charge. Cannot recommend these guys enough - their amazing!

My husband contacted them during a really crucial time for us. Two newborn twins and a lot of heat! When the guys showed up they were very nice and wore shoe protectors. They fixed our Air condition system the same day and even changed our filters for free. The technician mike was kind enough to show us exactly how to operate our thermostat which was very complicated to begin with. I would highly recommend to my friends and family .

I cant say enough good things about this company and George. My elderly dad called me in the morning to say his boiler was broken and he needs it fixed asap. I live in another state and searched on line to find someone to come out. Lucky for me that I found George. I explained the situation to George and he assured me that someone would be out in a few hours to take a look. True to his word he came out within a few hours and fixed it. He explained everything to my dad so that he was able to understand what was broken and what he would do to fix it. He also called me to let me know what was going on. Everything was very clearly explained that even I was able to understand what was going on and what he fixed. He is very knowledgeable about his craft and takes pride in his work.
