Good place to shop. They have a fantastic deli selection. I have been going there shopping since I was 5 years old. (2025 update: while working here I was mistreated by management assaulted by management and driven to nearly end my life. Worst job ever and the union rep barely even spoke or said anything just smelt like booze. )

Can always find everything I need

Food shopping store. Not much to say, Not a fan of the brand, you can taste the difference when you re eating ShopRite organic compared to other organic foods.

Ordered delivery and half of my $400 order was not delivered!!! Ill stick to Walmart... I should at least get a refund if you cant deliver my items... WELL THIS TIME IT WAS $200 ON DECEMBER 3RD AND SHOPRITE WONT GIVE ME BACK THE MONEY SO MY KID IS WITHOUT FOOD!!! I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR HELP FOR OVER THREE WEEKS CLEARY SHOPRITE DOESNT CARE ABOUT ITS COUSTOMERS

Decent grocery store for their sales, but I dont shop here regularly for groceries. Too high oriced on regular items I can buy across the street for less. Checkout here is always chaotic.

Always a great place to shop. Everything is very organized and easy to find. Store is always clean and has many selections. Employees are very helpful and always know right where something is. Shelves are always fully stocked.

i would rate it zero stars if i could. I came in with my mother to buy some groceries and i paid for some protein products separately and was id d for a protein bar which i never heard of before and i didn t have my id with me so i was unable to purchase it even tho i look well over 18. Then when we left my mother forgot her phone and went back in less than 5 minutes later to ask the employee and he was rude about it and made her unlock the phone in front of him even though he saw her just leave the checkout station

First time at the store. It was clean & well organized. Any employee I talked to was very helpful. They had everything I was looking for & at great prices. Will be back.

There is an incredible array of products. The Cantelope I got was the best Ive had in years!! It was completely ripe, had no blemishes, and was sweet throughout. Baby Boc-Choy was three to a bag, crisp and sweet. Fresh linguine was excellent! I used it to stir fry a pork lo-mein and it was great. The selection of fresh, grated Romano and Parmesan cheeses was huge! The prices were comparable to other local markets and the self checkout is large and easy to use. Definitely worth the time to check out the large selection of groceries as you may find some hard to find items not usually available elsewhere.

First off was always impressed by the staff near checkout always right there for assistance Have noticed in evenings though Staff seems to be just kids Myself and others waited at customer service desk 3 of them all noticed and pretended to be busy 1 walked right past never sought to get help decided he needed to use atm instead Finally young man came with great enthusiasm you need more like him Hope you watch cameras and see how little some of your kids could care less about work ethic and commend those that go above

Large grocery store, many prepared foods available. ShopRite stores always seem to play good music too!

The deli takes about 4 times longer than any other grocery store on the planet. Of 15 checkout lanes, usually no more than 4 are open. If you have all day to spend at a grocery store, this place is for you. If not, go anywhere else.

Produce is ok. Meats are average to fair. Staples are best here

We are in town visiting and did two food shopping trips exactly one week apart in two competing supermarkets down the street from each other. Now this is not perfect by any means and some of the items we purchased were different and would affect the final bill paid. But we instead kept a close tab on certain items that we tend to purchase often, or weekly if you will. Again this will not be perfect and is only our results. On the items that we purchase often, we found ShopRite to be quite a bit more expensive than their competitor on pretty much every item we paid attention to. It was also this way with the same two stores down where we lived, not far from Kingston. But this gave us the opportunity to check in exactly one week shop at the different stores. The final bills although not exactly the same total items, also reflected a much higher bill in ShopRite. I want to point out that only a few items were different. And we tried to take any difference into account on our price differential. Anyway, prices aside. This ShopRite seems fairly new and remodeled inside since the last time we were there. It did seem clean and the employees I spoke with seemed friendly. Why are so many of the same name stores laid out so totally different?(This is the same with all supermarkets) A little consistency goes a long way. We did have issues navigating the unfamiliar store to find the items that we were looking for. But familiarity is your friend when shopping and makes that much easier. So the regular folks probably zip right through. The deli section was crowded and forced to buy the prepackaged deli meat, which wasnt really what we wanted. I guess picking a quieter hour to shop might alleviate this. The parking area I found kind of tight and not the easiest to navigate. But again, may get easier when more familiar with that particular store. All in all, I found this ShopRite to be a nice store, with some nice features. Although I would have a hard time shopping there regularly knowing the prices on items we purchase are drastically higher than the store down the road. Now this may not be this way for you. But it was for us, as we have seen in the past at the same two stores near our home. I do want to point out that we no longer live in this area and do not normally shop at either of these stores now. This was all my idea to do this comparison based on our past experiences with the two named stores where we used to live.

The most expensive grocery store in the northeastern United States.

Everything is way too expensive. ShopRite executives who slurp up giant bonuses and horde resources to overcharge their customers for so we can fund their lavish lifestyles could surely do better for us common folk.

Huge selection and variety! Probably the best cake selection in town for grocery store cakes, and a huge deli and sushi section.

The only stores we shop in are Shop Rite.

We ordered online for pickup, when we arrived at our scheduled pickup time, the employee came to our car and greeted us empty handed. He seemed confused since he mentioned that order had already been picked up. We of course did not pick it up, but the amount of tooth pulling to get a refund from them was unacceptable. It took 5 or 6 conversations over the course of 3 days while being treated like we were trying to rip them off (when, in fact, they had taken our money and provided nothin in return). Absolute garbage experience from start to finish.

Great experience shopping here today people in the produce aisle people stalking the shelves in the cashier very friendly and pleasant unlike the ShopRite in New Paltz where everybody is miserable maybe you should take some people from here to there and show them how to run a grocery store because New Paltz is the worst ShopRite in the Hudson valley and I dont think the owners really care. Well they dont care about customers the things they care about are paper bags and profits

I was on vacation and was glad to see a grocery store after traveling out of Manhattan. This store was laid out much like the stores I shop at back at home in the Mountain West. The store was clean, the employees were friendly, and they had decent enough prices on their products. There appears to be an app they use for discount sales, which is a concept I am very familiar with but didnt commit to since I was only stopping by once. I would stop by here again if I am ever in the area again.

This is the third time I went to the deli for turkey breast and request to slice it thin, but NOT SHREDDED. I chose not to ride back to the store, as I m conserving gas, and already wasted $5.04.

Couldnt find kimchi anywhere (not even walmart) until I went Kingston shop rite, finally. But not many jars in stock.

Much better now at this location. Its like night and day between the Kingston location and the New Paltz location. They REALLY NEED TO REMODEL NEW PALTZ.

Was in search of a semi new product & found it as well as other necessities. Cashier was friendly & even showed us how 2 save money on a product that was purchased.

Cheap prices on cakes, since their flavor and shape are important to us as Hispanics, there are Hispanic products too, although Walmart is the leader in Hispanic products.

I had a less than stellar experience today when I went to the Deli. When I walked up to the counter, I was greeted very rudely by an associate named Joanne or maybe it was Joan? She very rudely asked what I want, and it was clear that she didn t want to be there. Okay she s having a bad day, no big deal. The real issue was when I walked away I could hear her berating one of her coworkers, and causing a scene. I get it not everyone gets along but this kind of behavior shouldn t be tolerated. Especially in front of paying customers who can hear her tyraid. I feel terrible for the employee who she was targeting, and hope that management takes this harassment seriously. I will be contacting corporate.

ShopRite does each department well. They have experienced staff who show pride of work. ShopRite displays are well organized. The prices are good- especially for meat and produce. It feels good to be in the store.

ShopRite has changed much the last 4-5 years. Prepackaged goods, where bins were B4, all in the name of healthy environment. This started B4 COVID. Packaging isnt good for the earth tho. The expense has increased. The shop is more like a Manhattan market and thats not a compliment. I still get a few things there, but overall weve lost our ShopRite of Old.

The line to check out was all the way back to milk on a Wednesday at 11 AM. Took me twice as long to stand on line then it did to shop. Only shop here maybe a few times a month for sale items.

I love going to ShopRite prices are pretty hi compared to other stores in the area but you get what you pay for good service always have a smile and a hello welcome to ShopRite they also carry a lot of items that I cant get in other stores I dont shop there often but when I do I usually get what I want there.

Way too crowded, the aisles are too narrow for the foot traffic, the bins of piled high piles of cans looks trashy, employees are of no help finding stuff, they dont open enough registers for the volume of shoppers, expecting everyone to use self checkout. Ridiculous

If you want to die of heat exhaustion then by all means shop at shoprite. However I do not recommend shopping here it is way too hot in the store for the workers and the customer shopping this is the 2nd time Ive shopped here doing youre doing my work that I do and have come out with near heat exhaustion. From what Ive gotten from the employees the store manager likes to keep the temperature at 72 year round with no air conditioning thats not circulating the air in the building especially during the pandemic right now not good my health is more important than your store. I do not recommend shopping here and Ive been coming to the store for 40 years.

I love shop rite in Kingston have a great vegetarian section and georgine is amazing the meat department is fantastic georgine in the front is fantastic even through this pandemic she going strong she been there support for alot of years Give her extra couple weeks vacation or an award or both .I just wish I could get some good organic chicken thighs there out.

Shop-Rite always has a great selection. The prices are competitive and the store is always clean. Find staff to be helpful and courteous.

The thing that sets Shop Rite ahead of the other supermarkets for me is the ease and savings of the price plus program. Many of the items I need are discounted through the program and I dont need to waste time loading them before I go shopping. Saving money in this economy isnt just nice, its essential.

I have not been into a shoprite in ages, but this particular one looks so much fancier, for lack of a better word, than the ones I have seen in past years! I was impressed! This is a very nice store with plenty of good deals!!!
