Parts are falling off my truck as it goes down the road.chuck said he fired that guy,and he was sorry that he didnt ck the work leaving his shop...but the same problem I paid $3000 to transmission exchange to repair is back. then he lied to my face .I will never go back there,or recommend his work.

Took my vehicle to Continental transmission on hertel avenue in Buffalo they told me transfer case was shot $3,500 then I took it over to transmission exchange$100 in 10 minutes module switch transmission exchange the most honest and price extremely Fair and I dont recommend going to Continental at all just being truthful

Man, Ive been to many shops but none like this place. My Dad got his work done here and recommended id bring my car because an issue with my transmission. Even though it took longer than I expected to get my car back, it was simply due to the amount customers this place has. I came in, spoke to Nick about my issue with my 09 Scion and his laid back professionalism and knowledge of the possible issue was beyond amazing. This place couldve told me I needed a rebuilt transmission but their honesty was above all amazing. My car Runs like new, and the price wasnt even 1/4 of what I expected to spend! They were able to assist with my 57 Chevy, very knowledgeable and were able to explain exactly why I was having issues. Didn t require repairs however they did not charge me for putting it up on the lift and doing a diagnostic check. Came highly recommended by another transmission shop and they didn t disappoint!

I took my Dodge Challenger here. The clutch was sticking, after a day or so they had it working perfectly. They even inspected it for me! Not hoping to be a repeat customer, but if I have more car issues they will be my first call.

Was recommended to this shop by a family friend. Dropped off my work truck and received it 3 weeks later in worse shape than ever! Paid for minor repairs to get done to an older year truck that just hit 100k and was mechanic owned. Just to have this place totally sabotage my vehicle, the check engine light is on, it shakes like it s about to clunk out any moment, reeks of coolant, has drag when turning now. And after speaking to an individual named Nick, nothing has been done, no accountability was taken. Nick advised that looks like someone has been messing with your engine his exact words. And this is after the 3 weeks that the shop had the vehicle. I will not be recommending that anyone use this shop for any mechanical repairs, maybe they are only good at fixing transmissions. Whatever the case is, the experience has been dreadful.

Will continue to use. Five stars!

Beware!!! Dont take your vehicle here. They blew me and my concerns off after they got paid by me and by my warranty company. They did an transmission rebuild but damaged something else in the process and then told me i had to take it somewhere else to get that fixed because they only do transmissions. So now i have to pay for their error. Total lack of accountability. I will NEVER go here again.

Absolutely fantastic people here. Our car totally broke down, and we called them initially to get it fixed. We weren t from the area, and they were quick to make moves to help us out. It turned out we actually had a warranty on the car and could go through our dealer to save money - this is something we didn t know until the owner of the shop guided us to check. He chose kindness over a big sell, and even gave us a ride to our car from the shop! Amazed with the generosity of the people at transmission exchange, and I m so thankful they were there to help us through a difficult situation.

A rebuilt my whole transmission then a superb job on it the two brothers were great and took the time and explain everything to you and not out to kill you on price . Super job boys.

Its not possible to please everyone & people should understand that. In my case however, I can say that the people at Transmission Exchange (Especially Joe) took care of my car when no one else would touch it. There is a way to know if a business or product is good or not. Many places or products give you either a short return of guarantee (for example two weeks or 30 days) that being said, when a place or product gives you something more you know that they believe in their product and their work. After taking care of my transmission I ask my son to ask what kind of warranty came with the work. He told me and showed me on the receipt that it was one years or 12, 000 miles. IMO, I believe that Joe and the others and Transmission Exchange do what they can to have customers that will spread the word of how good they are and that they are the best people for the Job. They also do whatever they can to make sure that they have made customers for life and I proud to say that I am now one of them. MD

My Car was there for them to replace my Transmission, I received it back and it left me stranded within 20 miles of driving it. Had to pay for a tow truck to get it back there. To find out it was the transfer case the whole time that they never checked. There employees took it on a test drive and my coolant leaked everywhere because one of there employees cut a line during the process. When I got the car back it didn t last a day. They but a defective transfer case in and once again had to tow it back to the shop. I got my car back with Absolutely nothing but problems that they refuse to fix. I do not recommend this shop at all. They have ruined my car.

My son went there to get his transmission fixed. After getting it done he drove the car as total of 20 miles before the car stopped working. He had to get it towed back to his home because the car was not drivable at all. The employees messed up my sons coolant line while fixing the transmission. And also did not check on other things while they did the test drive before releasing the car to my son. My son has brought this to the attention of the company. And the company is not willing to remedy this situation at all. I would not recommend them at all for any business.

My best friend took his car here & walked away with even more problems than he had when he brought the car in to get serviced. Highly recommend finding somewhere more reliable. Having to fix a car a week or so after it was allegedly fixed is 1,000,000% unacceptable & unprofessional!!!!

I cannot stress enough not to go here. Spent $2,500 in cash for transmission rebuild only to have it go within a year later. Initially after I got it back, it was making a noise that would go away when I would push the clutch in (standard transmission), indicating there was still a problem with the transmission. well, after spending $2,500 I dont want to hear grinding noises. So I bring it back in and it takes over a MONTH for this guy, chuck was his name, to tell me He doesnt have a magic wand. My car basically sat there for a month and he never touched it because I had already payed cash. Nothing was fixed. And here we are over a year later and the gear is popping back out of gear so right back to start. Another mechanic tells me clutch and clutch plate all needs to be replaced and that should have been done with transmission rebuild. Now i will have to pay for that. Many others around the area have told me after the fact they are not reputable, use older used parts or that theyve had problems after the fact, as the other review has stated that their transmission went after a year. All I know is, I was scammed out of $2,500 and am right back at the beginning. Better off spending a little more if you have to spend that kind of money to replace a transmission and get the job done correctly. Dont make the mistake I did people, save your money.

Got a rebuilt transmission that nearly died within the week and was originally told it had a 2 year warranty, but then after it was paid for it became a 1 year. Didnt replace a shifter cable, but did somehow cause a steering problem that hadnt occures until they had my car for 2 days. Definetly not a place to go.

I wouldnt let him change the chain on a bike. Total ripoff. Put two transmissions in pick up. First one went at less than 2000 miles. Second one didnt even make it back home. Took it to another place turns out it wasnt rebuilt at all. Total Hack.
