The guy at the desk argued with me about what year my vehicle was and continued to tell me I was wrong. I then waited 3 hours for an inspection. They failed my inspection due to the tread on my tires which then passed inspection at another dealership. They also tried to sell me multiple other items including an oil change. My current oil life was at 53%. The guy who was selling me stuff had no idea what he was talking about. They also tried to take my inspection sticker off because it “failed” yet my inspection sticker was good until the end of the month. I will never go back here.

Remote car starting and other functions were not working with the Ford Pass App. Messages that car battery was low were showing several times a day as the problem even though vehicle is only 2 years old with very low mileage yet. Previous visit where battery was charged, did not solve the problem. Most recent visit proved successful when mechanic said he “reset a module” related to the battery. Everything is working as it should now.
The process from intake, diagnosis through the outcome of a new engine installed was seamless. The favorable results were achieved because of several human beings working together,,truly as a team. Richie Holton, was my service advisor, Jeff was my customer service representative, and Vanessa Andrew was my customer rental car representative. This team was friendly, courteous, professional and significantly knowledgeable which made my experience with Latham Ford a very positive journey. I would highly recommend to family and friends the service department of Latham Ford. I thank the manager for employing such humanistic and competent people. These professionals are of superior quality. My heating system wasn't working after the engine was replaced. They took my Lincoln back in within a day and ran several diagnostic tests to find the problem. Richie communicated with me for two days until they found the problem and it was resolved . Following a 12-year relationship with Ford and Ford of Latham, I have gone elsewhere for my new car. The dealership, particularly the sales team, lost my business due to a lack of communication and follow through. My lease was up in December and I visited the dealership in November. No deal was able to made but the salesman and the sales manager assured me that they would be on top of it so I could get into a new lease in December. Despite repeated messages and texts I left for the sales person (Bobby) and the sales manager, I never got a call back. When I dropped off my car two weeks ago, after having to extend my lease a month, the sales manager couldn't look me in the eye when I told him that it was the sales team that lost my business. He made some weak excuse about running numbers for me but not being able to make it work. If he was running numbers all December, I knew nothing about it because there was no communication. Ford of Latham used to be a very tight, excellent dealership. Perhaps they are so successful now that they don't need my business; regardless I moved my business to a competitor who was very happy to have it.
Ford of Latham was great. When we arrived the sales manager recognized us from a couple months ago. I found that to be amazing since that was our second time there. Yours sale rep was Jerry. He was great from start to finish. I would recommend him to any of my friends or family.

I am extremely disappointed in Latham Ford after my most recent experience. I have leased & bought cars from Latham Ford for over a decade & have had all of them serviced there as well. I recently brought my car in for the check engine light. I was contacted by the service rep later in the day. I was told what the issue was & scheduled to have it fixed. I was told it would be in for service the following day & I would hear from someone when it was nearing completion. I never heard anything all day & was sent to voicemail or told I would get a call back every time I contacted them. Shortly before 5 I was told the part wouldnt be in until the following Monday. I was without a vehicle all weekend. On Monday morning I was contacted & told there was another problem related to the check engine light. So now 4 days after the car was supposed to get fixed all of a sudden there is another problem & of course its another $400. Makes me question the competency of the technicians as how was this new problem just discovered. I turned down that repair & just stuck to what I was originally having fixed as I dont have that kind of money. I had this feeling after that call on Monday & I wanted to just pull my car from them & go elsewhere, but I didnt. Well I wish I did. The car was apparently done Monday afternoon but I couldnt pick it up because they had computer problems & couldnt process the paperwork. I finally got my car back the next afternoon. $600 later. I will never bring my car back to Latham Ford. Terrible customer service. Complete disrespect & disregard for customer communication. Incompetent technicians who can not properly diagnose problems. Its sad because I always spoke very highly of Latham Ford but clearly its gone downhill. Do not recommend.
Worst experience ever. Had a Tuesday appt and they did nothing all week. Didn t answer phone calls and never did the work I scheduled. Stay as far away from this dealership as possible. Absolute clowns.

Try to scam for service. I run a rental company & had a mechanic friend brought in a Lincoln MKZ for a manufacture recall (regarding some brake issue). The mechanic took off the wheels & told my friend that brought in the car the lug nuts were corroded and aren t able to complete the recall service. Also purposely removed the battery cover after refusing to replace the battery insulator & lugnuts (totally to $300 something when we really just brought the vehicle in for a manufacture recall - they refuse to complete saying the lugnuts can t be put back on the car as it ll expand with heat - if you know anything about cars you know it s BS). My friend saw the lugnuts & he confirmed with me it looked just fine. Also confirmed 3/4 lugnuts from the car was taken off upon attempting to service the vehicle for recall. After we refused the offer for replacing lugnuts / battery insulator. The lugnuts were *magically* put back on the car (which initially they told us they couldn t be put back on unless we replace them). Waited a week for the recall parts to get to the dealership just to be up charged for a simple manufacture recall. What a shame.

Ford will not cover the issue that is in recall status. Said it was already worked on, so obviously Ford didnt fix it right the first time so now as the second owner I miss out? I have to suffer? Then tried to have me pay 5K parts and labor to fix the power steering. Absolutely not.

This visit to Ford of Latham went much better than last time. I did a lot of pre diagnose before returning with the same center console reconnecting issue. They efficiency and effectively corrected the software issue. However my vehicle still can t remember my cell phone or previous Sirius XM station, but this is insignificant compared to the center console issue.

This morning s visit for service caught me off guard initially about the length of time it would take a technician to diagnose my car s issues. I was facing having no car (I had scheduled appointments the next few days) or locating a rental. All the service staff, Alex, Rhonda, and managers, I presume, devised a very good plan so my car could be diagnosed while I waited. (Gary also had a hand in it.) Result the parts required have been ordered and paid for and I will return my car for two days next week so the installation can be done. At first, it was difficult to obtain a service appointment. Once I arrived, communication was limited. The dealership is me and is completing transition. I spoke with Gary, the new general manager. He acknowledged my concerns and explained the reasons behind the confusion. I witnessed other customer interactions and I was quite impressed with how the service advisors handled everyone. Super quick, scheduled a drop off for an oil change, they suggested it could take up to 2 hours when I made the appointment but we got right in- grabbed a sub next door and it was done before we were done eating.

Absolutely the worst service department, not sure how they have such a high rating because everyone I have spoken to has had a similar horrible experience with them. Dropped truck off on Thursday evening by appointment for two recalls. They had the truck all day Friday and never called or even touched the truck. When I called could not get through to a person and left a message, again no call back. Called Saturday morning and was told that truck had never been touched and they didnt know why, apologized and said they would have it done that day. Never called back and never touched the truck again. Closed Sunday, Monday get a call that they will try and get to it, informed them that I need to pick up the truck as it has been four days. Just received a call Monday afternoon that they will not be able to complete the recalls today either, just going to go pick it up and hopefully find a Ford dealer that can actually service Ford vehicles.

Outstanding Service at Ford of Latham! While on a road trip, my family and I found ourselves a thousand miles from home with a pretty serious car issue. After being turned away by another dealership, we were relieved when Ford of Latham recognized our urgency and treated us with empathy. Despite being fully booked, they listened to our situation and got us in right away. A special thanks to our service advisor, Dan, and technician, Isaiah, who went above and beyond to ensure our safety. Isaiah not only identified and addressed the issue but also took the time to explain it, even providing extra fuses in case we needed them on the road. The service from start to finish was exceptional, and were truly grateful to the Ford of Latham team for getting us home safely.

They have a shuttle that takes you to work within a 20 mile radius but they never answer the phone when you call back to get a ride to your car. No One contacted me to say my car was ready and I was calling for over an hour, and it just rang and rang. This also happens when I called to set up my service. The reception people neeed to get it together

Like several others, I wish I could give this 0 stars or even negative stars. I bought my brand new vehicle two months ago. It had a dent, chip and several scratches in it. The dealership promised to fix it and made an appointment for me to come in. In the meantime, my license plate holder broke off and I had to convince them to warranty the item. When my car went it for service on a Friday, I heard nothing all day. I called and called and no answer. I finally went up in person at 4:59 (they close at 5) and was told oh we didn t do any work on your car and have to keep it through next Tuesday . I took my car home and brought it back Monday morning. Well guess what, the SAME thing happened- no call, no answer. I went up and they tried to tell me the work on the chip had been complete. The chip was in the exact same condition I had brought it in. I called the sales manager (yes, sales, because no one in service would help) and he informed me the touch up paint wasn t even ON SITE so it was a blatant lie that any work had been done. Fast forward to the next day, I go up to pick up the car after being ASSURED the work had been done. It looks like someone took red nail polish to it. No buffing, smoothing or clear coat. The vehicle NEEDS to go to a body shop but since there isn t one on site, they are trying to do a cob job. I was told it would be fixed soon but that was several weeks ago and I have heard nothing from them. The people in the parts department are just as unhelpful. I ordered floor mats from Ford and was required to have them shipped to the dealer. Both times I went the parts department said we don t have them , well actually they did, they were just unwilling to look for them. I cannot express how frustrating it is to experience this kind of service immediately after purchasing a new car. You shouldn t have to physically drive to the dealer to get an update on your vehicle. Perhaps the worst part is how unphased the service advisors were, which says to me- they are either told not to care about customer service or are so used to dealing with upset customers they don t care anymore. To whoever is responsible for responding to this- before you tell me please reach out to discuss your concerns , don t bother. I HAVE reached out numerous times over the phone and in person and you have done NOTHING. If you want to make this right, you can call me. Best of luck to anyone who purchases a vehicle here, I hope you don t ever need service on it.
There were issues with my service. The system needs to be adjusted so if your particular service rep is absent, communication does not completely fail.

Awful. They don t answer the phone. U leave a voice mail and they don t call me back. Charged for a replacement part that Depaula ford says is under warranty and therefore no cost to me. The part I paid for at ford Latham flew off. I give their sales a 5 but their service is a mess. U want great service go to Depaula ford
I brought my 2011 F150 into the shop to have a transmission flush and to look at check engine light They looked at the check engine light and said it was resolved but I it come back on to bring it back I called for 2 days before they responded and then I had to wait 10 days before they were able to see me So I had to drive with my check engine light on

I particularly liked the video update provided by the technician when they were finishing up. They let me know what they found, what required immediate attention, and what maintenance may be required in the near- mid-future. Great experience overall! I will certainly be using your shop as my go to from now on.

New location makes it easier to drop car off. Finding a parking spot in the new lot is a little tough right now. Lots of new friendly faces and service was fast with a video explaining everything.

Recall was handled at my home
I was very pleased with the service I received today. Everyone was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Today I had my state inspection done and I had them perform the Works on my 2015 Ford Focus. Everything was done in a very timely manner and I was able to get out of there within an hour. My dealership is the only place I ever take my Ford to be serviced.

My check engine light came on, had some shaking in my car long story short I went here and Jarod let me know all the things my car needed and what was wrong with from the tech who worked on my car. I said I am a student I don t have money right now I need to just fix main issue. I was quoted 575 or so for parts and the diagnosis. Nothing else was ever mentioned on phone. So I m thinking it s no more than 600. I get the bill for 800$. That s a huge difference. I went through the bill and realized there was labor fees that are around $200 something and tax being 80$. I understand there s a labor fee to work on the car but I know nothing about cars - and I mentioned that, and also stated I can t afford a lot. 200$ is a decent amount to not mention in a quote. Poor job on his end. Acting like my buddy I guess they all do that also told me my tires are shot, and I need to replace all 4. only thing that s shot is this service department. They just want to get money from you. When I went there to ask about the price difference and pick up my car he wasn t even there and left me a message saying how we have so much to discuss about my car And he wasn t there. A woman who worked there was very kind, and gave me a gas card to fill up my car through ford. Sure that s great but doesn t change my bill was significantly different from what was said. What a joke. If you want to be upfront with customers then do it it s not that hard to give a realistic quote.
I just purchased a vehicle at Latham Ford - this will have been my third one in the last 18 years of doing business there. With this purchase, due to unforseen circumstances and therefore my own limited options, I had some afterthoughts, questions, and subsequent requests regarding my purchase... I stopped in to speak with my sales team, and they were all very accommodating -- Bobby and Trevor in Sales, and my Business Manager, Rob, were able to work together and quickly come up with a solution to meet my needs. They were attentive to my concerns and made some adjustments to ensure that my purchase was the exact right vehicle to fit my needs at this time. Had been hearing a noise coming from the air filter box. No one could figure the problem out. I did not want to take it to Depaula where we bought it because they are the worst dealership on the planet. So, I went to Latham Ford. They couldnt have been nicer. The service rep, Alexander and his manager came out and listened for the noise and found the problem immediately. Alex slotted me in for an immediate fix and had me out of there in no time flat. True to their word and no added costs. Love these guys. Definitely going back to Latham Ford for my next vehicle.

This is twice Latham Ford has processed a computer update at my home. How convenient! The scheduled me by calling me before I got to call them right after I got recall notice. Service tech Mark was on time....actually early both times. VERY courteous and knowledgeable. Great service and I didnt have sit around in a waiting room!

No more needing to remember when your car is due for service. They call to schedule it for you. They come to you and perform the work. I didnt need to do anything. What convenience to not have to sit and wait for your vehicle. Excellent service. They sent me an invoice to pay, and it was great.
