I dont like to bring my cars to many mechanics/ dealerships, but this place has my trust and business! Update 6.15.21 We just bought our 2nd vehicle from Paul Wade. Better than the first, deal was straight forward, trade in was fair, paperwork was correct! We had one small issue with the cleanliness of the vehicle, but with how big the vehicle is, it would be hard for anyone to see on top of the roof. Service took care of the issue right away. Ive purchased alot of cars in my life and this place truly earns my trust in buying a car... and no, they did not pay me to say any of this...lol. 2025, and now our 3rd vehicle from Sam and Rick, always a pleasure, quick and painless with no bs. After using most of the CDJ Service centers in the capital area, this one is definitely the worst. They left the rear of my wifes vehicle a mess and destroyed the case for her jack tools. We dont even believe they did all of the work we paid for them to do originally because after she challenged them on it and we left it another night, extra paperwork magically appeared and they did some back tracking. Also, they wouldnt give straight answers and lacked the ability to explain, what should have been simple, things and instead evaded questions. Ill take the time to drive out of my way and go back to Armory.

Friendly and clear

One of the worst dealers in the area. When you bring your vehicle here for the warranty they provide they search all your records and paperwork to find a reason not to honor there agreements. But thats not the main issue, the issue is that they lie and are shady. I brought my 2017 compass in which in 2021 before my warranty ran out i pointed out all the bubbling on my hood, door frames and trunk they said they wouldnt help me and i should beg Chrysler but wont change the out come. They claim i had to get all my oil changes, brakes and other maintenance done there nooope this is a lie any wear and tear can be done anywhere (which a run down maintenance shop in the sticks would be better). Finally when they replaced my transmission not once but twice because they use used refurbished parts and charge you full price for new parts. But after all that while my Compass was in there hands for over a week i noticed a dent, scratches and chipped paint with a big white chalky smudge like they backed into a wall. They said they would fix it but nope just cleaned the vehicle and buffed the area and to this day i get enraged when i see the chipped paint. Do Not Recommend For Any Maintenance Word. They claim they went out of their way to help me but yet they tried to derail my warranty because they claimed i missed an oil change but the receipt for that date was not in order in my glove box where i have every receipt, bill or work order since 2016-2025. They also claimed my behavior was out of control, they said this because they called me with 3 lawyers, general manager, service manager and a few others where i told them again that my car was damaged in there care and needs to be fixed. The service manager who if you read all the 1 stars on here is well bellow a capable human being. Now i see this post that i cant respond on saying Im no longer allowed on the property because i threatened to sue them when they blind sided me with their lawyers (because they were in the wrong). But they can lie and try to save face by blaming all the 1 star issues on the customers. I wasnt planning on ever stepping foot into a Goldstein ever again and i suggest all of you do the same. Lastly look at their reviews all the 5 stars are fake, family or friends. There is no dealership in New York with a absolute 5 star rating.. SHADY. Terrible business. Never would have purchased my car from here if I knew all the issues I was going to run into (specifically with how rude and unhelpful the staff is at this location). Save your money for a business that actually respects and values their customers. Also, since the management seems to have extremely unprofessional responses let s get the details out before he changes them. I brought my car in for multiple issues, on multiple different occasions over the course of 3/4 years. Every single appointment has ended in me playing phone tag with this company trying to get a clear answer on what is happening. I ve waited weeks at a time (once again, on multiple occasions) for my car to be ready just to find out they never ordered the part they were supposed to, or never put my car back on the schedule to be finished until I called and complained. Am I going to be kicked off the property now that I m stating this business is terrible? Since you also like to publicly post that that s how you respond to upset customers.

When making such a large purchase, this was something we loved about Zach- he knew we were making a big decision and wanted it to be the right one for us. I was very pleased with the service on my jeep and staff is very efficient.

So far everything is good. I brought my truck in for a check engine light and utilized the shuttle to get back to work. When I returned after work they were still in the process of figuring out the issue. turns out the non OEM air filter was triggering the code and check engine light so the replaced it for a mear 100 bucks lol. And like I said well see if the engine light returns.i can tell you I wont be happy if it comes back on for the same thing after spending the money on the OEM filter but the staff were very pleasant and informative and the shuttle driver Steve is a very nice guy.

I will never have my Jeep serviced anywhere else. For the best experience in the service department, ask for Brian.

The guy who answered the phone in the Parts Department was very rude and unprofessional. He put me on hold and i got to hear him ream out his coworkers for about 2 minutes so he must be the head of the Parts Department. He was very unhelpful and curt. Go somewhere else for parts. I know I will.

outrageously expensive $500 for a new battery. I would not mind paying for a premium service, but I did not receive that here. the mat was left on my seat, and the work area was not cleaned up

Great service from Matt helping with my new wrangler.

It was a routine oil change and tire rotation but they were very meticulous and actually made a video of everything the tech did. They checked everything and topped off all of the liquids as well as replacing both the engine filter and the cabin filter, and a free carwash at the end. Goldstein is one of the very few dealership that actually care about you and keeping the vehicle you buy from them running perfectly. I use to buy my vehicles from another dealership on upper central Ave but Goldstein is the dealership that will get all of mine,family and friends business from the vehicle I have going forward.

Purchased a Ram 2500 December of 2023. Every trip to service department has been sloppy, unorganized and with rude customer service. Zero emphasis on a positive customer experience. Brought truck in 2 weeks ago, was told it s ready for pickup. Upon receipt of vehicle, the glove compartment is in a dozen pieces on the floor with my cabin filter missing. Parked it right away and right back in to service. Bring it in for an oil change and find bottle caps under the closed hood. The icing on the cake is the exhaust that Goldstein installed falling off and dragging mid drive. Zero quality control, zero accountability.

Made an appointment for an oil & lube change and noticed I needed a cabin filter and replacement.Taken care of!! & got a car wash as well.

My company owns a Ram ProMaster, less than a year old with 7,000 mi on it. It suddenly refuses to start, is still under warranty, and the Goldstein service department tells me the soonest they can even look at it is 30 days from now. Not sure what the point of a warranty is if your local dealer thinks you can go a month without use of your vehicle.

Between the lifetime warranty s they offer on even preowned vehicles and the service experiences I ve had, I Will absolutely be sticking with goldstien of Latham.

About a month ago, I scheduled an appointment to have my tires replaced. And sent reminder email on Oct 20th. However, when I arrived today, I was informed that the tires weren t available. I m quite disappointed with the service, as I had expected the necessary preparations to be made in advance.
