Jenn reached out to me to schedule my yearly maintenance. They will show up when they can and leave a door tag that its done. Ambrose all the way!!! Yet again, Ambrose to the rescue. I gotta say everyone with this organization is amazing. Panicked a week or so ago because I realized the generator wasn t exercising as expected. Panel was dead. Well. Dead battery. Was a Sunday. Possible issues with Hurricane Henri looming. I pulled the battery myself and was able to get a new one. Here s where Ambrose comes to the rescue. I call on Monday. Maybe a bit miffed that something was missed. Charging system not working. Battery was old but not THAT old. Talk to service. Immediate scheduling of a tech to come out and verify charging system was good and it was just the battery. Batteries go bad. And they go bad quick. Nothing to be done about that. The fact they made room in their busy schedule to get someone out here ASAP to make sure the charging system was good is why I highly recommend the folks at Ambrose.

Had Ambrose out to help with electrical issues that turned out to be a National Grid problem. They were top notch and professional from start to finish. They were very helpful explaining our problem and did a thorough checkup of our generator while here. Pricing was very fair. Will definitely use again and highly recommend!

When looking to get a generator installed, Mike was awesome at coming over to give a quote and was very responsive to all of my questions by email. The quote was lower than their competitors, and they installed it much faster than expected. The crew was very courteous not to get any dirt on the floors of the house, and they did a great job of teaching us how to operate and maintain the equipment. Im very impressed with their service!

We purchased a 24KW Generator and transfer switch from Ambrose Electric and had them do the install the whole system. This is our second generator at our location as the 15 year old Koehler was not being supported by our local Cummins dealer and had issues since originally purchased. Ambrose did a professional job, showed up on time..did as they said they d do ( our installation was not easy as the propane line needed to be relocated and the main heat pump needed a safety relay/module. The price was good compared to 3 other quotes we received. After installation follow up was superb. We had a issue with our electric service 5 days after they completed installation. I called them thinking it had something to do with what they did. They responded quickly and checked EVERYTHING over completely. There electrician surmised it was a service problem with National Grid, there was no charge for the visit. The next day National Grid came out and found the problem on our connection to the power pole on the street. I have had two more times that I needed to contact Ambrose over the last 9 months for just questions, there contact Michael Stein was always available promptly and courteously. If there were 6 stars available I d give them that.

We have a 10 year old self starting home backup Generac Generator. We get annual service/check ups on it. The last couple months it started having problems self starting. Despite us knowing how to reset and restart it ourselves..it got to the point where it just would not start. Wed had the battery replaced within the last 1-2 yrs, so my spouse and I thought maybe things are going bad on it, and its just time to have the Generator replaced. We had 5 local companies come out to look it over with Ambrose Electric being the second to last one for problem solving, and/or an estimate. Mike Stein, the Vice President of Ambrose came out and thought it might be the Step Motor. He offered to have one of his techs come out the next morning to CHECK IT OVER FOR FREE, and based on what the tech found, Mike would inform us either what it would cost to fix it, or send us an estimate for a new generator. When I came home from work the next day....there was a message from Mike on our home phone. When I called him back---he said the generator simply needed valve adjusting and will work fine for several more years. I was surprised, and asked him, what do we owe you? He responded with: NOTHING---your records show youre due for another service in November, so I recommend you get it serviced then, and if any problems before that--let me know! WOW!!!! We are so impressed!!! THIS MAN could have said anything from having whatever fixed to whatever price, or that we needed a new generator. But---he was HONEST! We are sticking with Ambrose Electric, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for your Generator / electrical needs!!!

Diagnosised and fixed my 15 year old generator. Staff very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Seemed determined to fix the issues which was great to see. Would highly recommend. generator purring like a kitten now.

I got estimates from three different companies for a Generac standby generator. The other two were about $50 apart, but Ambrose was about $2,000 lower than both. The Generac website has a cost estimator, and Ambrose was about $1,000 over that one. I figured that could be due to other installation costs - the Generac site made it clear that installation could be higher. Mike did the estimate for us. Nice guy and is very knowledgeable. He was always made time to answer questions when I called him. I had asked him about a UPS for my router and modem - he recommended a great product. However, I am glad I had gotten the two other estimates because I got more useful information from them about installation factors than I did from Mike. Paul, Cam, and Dom did the installation. They were polite and respectful, and completed the job quickly. They were very good about communicating when my electric would be turned off. They carefully explained everything I needed to know about how the generator and transfer panel worked. I highly recommend this company.

Our experience with Abrose Electric was top notch. We had a 16kW generator installed and the job was done efficiently and professionally by an exceedingly qualified team. We requested an estimate after some severe storms knocked out power out for several days and within a week we had someone out to take a look. Generac was experiencing shortages of supply at the time, but Ambrose kept us up to date on when wed expect an install and were attentive to any concerns we had about delays. When our install time came, our team arrived exactly on time and we courteous and informative. The install looks clean and they took care of our property to make things look seamless, as though the generator had always been there. They were done in under their estimated amount of time and after a tour of our system we feel confident in its use and performance. 5 stars all around!

Just had a Generac Standby generator installed by Ambrose. The three man crew showed up right on time with everything they needed. They were very friendly and professional. Before starting they went over the whole project with me. Where did I want the controller mounted? How did I want the cables run? Etc. They then did the job and the end results are excellent. A very professional installation, and absolutely no mess was left behind. I had signed the agreement several months prior but installation was delayed while I waited to get a concrete pad poured. Ambrose made no effort to change the price or terms and no attempt to sell me extras that I didnt need. What was agreed upon was carried out to the letter. I am totally pleased.

Very unprofessional. They came out 4 times and after every time the generator did not work and another part had to be replaced . Not a coincidence. Do not believe the reviews you read they are probably lies . The truth is their mechanics are mediocre at best and if you believe their fake reviews you will see for your self

I checked on residential generators last year, and found that Ambrose Electric installs and services the type that was recommended. They gave me the information I needed to choose the correct size I needed and they installed it. I havent had any problems with the generator, and Ambrose Electric has been available to answer any questions Ive asked. There have been a few power outages since the generator was installed. None were for more than a few hours, but I was very happy that the generator was on-line.

Mike showed up for a free estimate, explained everything in great detail, and answered all of our questions. Extremely polite and professional. We purchased a Generac 22kw generator after receiving a quote that was more than fair. When Paul and the guys showed up for the install, their professionalism, attention to detail, and thorough explanation of the system was beyond our expectations. I would HIGHLY recommend going with this company if you are considering any electrical work, and if you think you live too far away, give them a call, you may be pleasantly surprised.

I would not recommend them. They put a grounding pole through our pipe which caused a clog and flooded bathroom. They said they would reimburse us for plumber costs. Now refusing. They said it was on warranty. They fixed the pipe so 1 star. We paid them $2500 for original work. We should be reimbursed for the problems which was their mistake which cost us $2100.

I had Mike (the sales rep.) stop by an give me an estimate on a standby generator. He informed me on all that I would need to have one an which was would be the best. He answered all my questions an made it easy to understand what I needed an what it would take. Mike even gave me his email address as to which he promptly answered me back on several different questions I had. He called me at least once a week to ask either if I wanted my new generator installed early do to a cancellation or to inform me on my financing of my purchase. Mike also touched base with me a week prior to touch base on my install the following week. I had Dave an Frank install my new 11k standby generator. They both showed up 15mins early like I was told they would. The work they both did was beyond my satisfaction. They were both greatly experienced in their work an very professional. Dave an Frank made sure the job was done to perfection as well as clean up. I was informed on all the details of what I needed to know to operator my new generator an was also told not to hesitate to call them if I had any questions. Both Dave an Frank were not only great workers but a pleasure to have as my installers. I would recommend them both highly. An the same goes for the unit installed. For a generator like mine I was amazed as to how quite it was while running. The unit ran/run great an works like it should. I am more than pleased with the work as well as the product.
