I worked with Jared to purchase my spa and it was the best sales experience Ive ever had! I had a tall order because of the space I needed it to fit in and he went above and beyond to make sure I got what I wanted, it fit my budget, AND it fit in the space. We had an inground pool installed last year. From sales, to construction to learning how to care for the pool, the service has been outstanding. Ive found the staff to be helpful and very responsive to our needs. It takes a little while to get comfortable with all the pool components and to understand and remember whats require to maintain a nice pool all summer. Ive had a few times when I thought something was wrong. I called the team and they either came over right away or they walked me through what to look for and how to fix it over the phone. I seldom leave reviews but I think this one was worth mentioning. Thank you, Concord.

The display on our Master Spa Twilight Series spa stopped working just after the warranty period expired. We called Jared at Concord since he has always been helpful. At his suggestion, we called Master Spa and they sent us a display at no cost. Since we live about 2 hours from Concord, Jared talked us through the replacement by ourselves. Success! Jared has been the most helpful company representative I have ever known.

Concord Spa Service Staff squeezed us in ASAP for a rapid response service call to replace a heating element and get us back in operation quickly, professionally and at a reasonable cost. Thanks Jared, Eric and the team for your above and beyond commitment to excellent customer service. And, another thing! This spring, the pool renovations and service teams similarly helped us out when installing a new liner. Rad, Bill, and the entire service team are top notch!

I purchased my Master Spa just over 5 years ago. There were some maintenance issues early on that were not handled very well. I believe the business has been sold and has a whole new cast attending such. I had a service call this week which involved Eric coming to my house twice. However Jared and Eric both resolved my issues in a timely and very professional way. Both of them were extremely polite and competent. Hats off to a great team and I can honestly say they are worth every bit of five stars

From Mike in Sales to Torrie in Construction coordination to Jim, the actual builder, and service and maintenance teams, every single person we worked with was knowledgeable, professional, kind and communicative. Our new pool surpassed my expectations at every level and I m hugely grateful to our neighbor who recommended this builder. Additionally, every partner that Concord recommended for landscaping, engineering, electric, fencing, etc was phenomenal too. A five-star review isn t enough to capture how delighted and impressed my husband and I were with Concord s service and entire team. Exceptional!

This company lacks customer service and common sense. Concord put an inground pool in our back yard two years ago, during the construction phase they were unable to communicate timelines and made large assumptions about our knowledge with the pool installation process. After the pool was put in, Concord helped themselves to our backyard to take photos and would show up unannounced for the weeks that follow. We called several times to ask that they give us a heads up on when they are coming because we have a fenced in yard with dogs. That request was not honored. After two seasons of use the pool sprang a leak. I called and asked for someone to come out (which they did) but the person doing the repair did not communicate AT ALL while he was here. We assumed that the problem with the pool would be covered under warranty since we followed protocol but were left with a charge of $232. No written invoice, no phone call. The customer service for this place is an absolute joke and an embarrassment.

I recent had Concord install new plumbing in my ungrounded pool. The crew was very polite and knowledgeable. The work was done in a short period of time and the section that was dug up was returned to almost the condition as before they dug it all up. I am very happy with the work that they performed. Very nice crew.

We used Concord for almost ten years and their service has declined rapidly. This year we had to have something fixed and had no explanation from the technician what he did or what happened and why the job looked to be incomplete from the original quote. Then we have had issues with the billing department. Not only do they still only use fax or require forms to be delivered in person but then they type your credit card info wrong and send a new bill with a declination fee attached to it. Our bank confirmed it was a typo on concords side as did the fax confirmation. But the woman on the phone admitted to shredding our paperwork immediately without even trying our card again. This and other customer service issues with scheduling and getting ahold of people is a joke.

Service with Concord Pools has been excellent! They come out in a timely manner and are very professional. They know what they re doing and get the job done! Finding good pool service Is not easy but I m so happy I found these guys!

Quite possibly the worst customer service Ive ever experienced, from any type of company. Theyre very accommodating and responsive during the first appointments, up through the signing of the contract. Once they get their check, which they require in full before breaking ground, they do not care about you at all. They flat out lie about the timeline between installation and actually using the pool, then get mad at YOU for expecting anything even remotely close to what was promised. Good luck getting a hold of anyone on the phone, and when you do, expect them to be extremely condescending about having the audacity to expect what THEY promised. Would not even recommend them to open or close the pool. They NEVER show up when they say they will. If you do choose to use them, I hope you have plenty of PTO or a flexible boss, because you will need a lot of time to accommodate their poor scheduling. Youll get an appointment time, wait and wait and wait for them to show up, and when you call, they tell you that YOU have the appointment time wrong, or that they had something else come up and the technicians were re-routed, and they never even give a half-hearted apology for the lack of communication. I regret using Concord Pools for this project. They completely soured a wildly expensive project that should have been something I could be excited about. Every time I would even think about anything related to the pool, Id get anxious and nauseous, knowing that Id either be disappointed, ignored, or talked down to.

I highly recommend Concord based on my experience. The purchase process was painless and enjoyable. Post purchase service has been very good, especially Jared in the service department who goes above and beyond.

I own Blue Crew Pools in East Greenbush. I happen to be installing a liner in Latham and I needed some vinyl adhesive. I was close by and decided to head over.. once arriving at concord, I was shocked. Once entering the store, I found exactly what I needed, not exactly but what I found would work. When I got to the checkout line, I waited for what seemed like forever. As a matter of fact, 2 people were cashed out before me, even though I was #1 in line. I love how many homeowners choose concord pools and Spas, but soon find that they receive better service elsewhere. As a pool serving company, Im shocked to see this Mark S. Blue Crew Pools Inc.

Be careful doing business with this company! We spent thousands of dollars replacing a pool pump, getting a salt water generator, and replacing our pool liner. The sales team said the liner should last 20+ years (the last one lasted 30) and pushed us to hurry up and purchase in order to get it installed the next year. Last year, after just 1.5 seasons the liner popped out and was all messed up. I called Concord Pools for help and it took me calling multiple times per day for over a week to get any help. Their communication was instant when selling the liner but once they have your money they will constantly remind you they have 10,000 customers and reply slowly, if at all. I believe they installed my liner incorrectly but they refuse to take any responsibility, claiming it s a sudden water table issue. It took me 6+ weeks to get an answer to whether I could safely close my pool last year without refitting the liner. Then, upon opening, it popped out again in the spot they supposedly fixed. I reached out to them last week asking for a refund of the visit where they incorrectly repaired the liner before closing but unsurprisingly got no response. An employee looked me up on social media, so I know they saw the email, but in true Concord fashion they figure if they ignore it long enough it will go away. STAY AWAY from this place for large purchases!!!

We purchased our home in 2020 and the pervious owner bought a Master Spa Hot tub from Concord Pools. Over the years Ive been in the store and on the phone with the service team trying to learn the ins and outs of our hot tub. Each employee Ive spoken with has been super friendly. Today I spoke with Jared, he was extremely helpful!! Very patient and knowledgeable! 10/10 I highly recommend going to Concord Pools & Spas for all of your pool/hot tub needs. Thank you again!!

Stopped in on mothers Day together all the things I need to get my Twilight series Jacuzzi spa up and running for the year. Fabulous experience Ava Mike in the back and the young fellow who helped me order and purchase my Jets thank you sincerely I appreciate you and your hard work and your exceptional customer service. I needed a new liner and light in my 28 yr old pool. I went in to concord in Nov 2022 to order the items for an early installation in Spring 2023. I worked with Brad on the sales side. I had countless questions because of a serious leak I had but was uncertain of where the water was leaving the pool so we discussed the several possibilities and what we would do as we progressed with the install. Brad was patient and responsive with the questions and in getting me comfortable. He was also good in communicating the timing for the install. Sean and Tom came to install pool in early May and the process went smoothly. Sean also was very communicative, helpful and patient as we discussed the leak. He also was thorough with the process and never seemed rushed. There turned out to be a problem with the light at the end. Brad was out to the house quickly to look at it on a Friday and it was fixed on the following Monday. Every aspect of the process was excellent and even more so in this post pandemic environment with labor and supply issues, We ll done!

What a horrible way to run a business. I have had to call multiple times before I can get a hold of someone. Often times you cant even leave a message cause their voices boxes are full. If you can leave a message a very nice lady will call back which I appreciate but she usually just tells me shell pass on my message to the service department or to watch the YouTube videos on the website. Those are helpful!! They dont even correspond to the pool system we have. When techs come fix something they only put a bandaid in it and dont actually fix the root problem. I feel as though they do this cause theyre incompetent in their work and/or so they can charge another $95 for a service visit. Their website and communication systems are so outdated they still use fax machines and ask you printout their paperwork before you can schedule any service. Im not really sure how theyre still in business.

Aparently no warranty on the construction wok they have done.

Service has become very poor and nobody ever answers the phone. They have refused to provide an invoice for a recent service visit. This company is no longer trust worthy. Prices have gone up substantially and service quality has dropped.

There are not enough words to express my sincere gratitude and thanks to Julian, Director of Service and Eric, Service Tech for their professionalism and customer service for going above and beyond in helping me in the purchase and repairs of a second hand used spa/pool. During their busiest time of the year, Julian always found time to return my many crazy phone calls of questions such as concrete pad size or electrical needs with a sense of calm and patience. And when I finally got my spa/pool, I encountered an unfortunate situation requiring some repairs. Julian was able to maintain a positive outlook and keep me positive sending me the best Service Tech he has, Eric!!! Again during the busiest time of the season they were able to find me an appointment and get my spa/pool up and running in no time!! Just replaced my 14 yr old filter. Have had issues with flow levels for past ten years, so I decided to get a second opinion from Concord. Matt & Bill went over all options, and we quickly settled on one which I was unaware of previously. I wish I knew the names of the techs that came out, they explained everything, cleaned up everything, and I have the best flow the pool has had in a very long time. Soooo glad I made the call.

Great service. Hot tub was not heating up and they came the same day, explained the issue and fixed it with no issues.

Jared at Concord Pools provided outstanding service. The jacuzzi pump was cycling on and off every two seconds. Another spa place said it would be $249 to come out and diagnose the problem. And then it would be one or two more $249 charges plus parts to fix it. Jared helped me to trouble shoot the problem, then he got parts for me. He probably saved us about $800. This is a smart way to run a business. Companies that treat customers well and give them good deals get repeat customers. Another company might have made a lot one time, but never seen us again.

I cant say enough positive things about this company. We purchased a hot tub from Concord back in 2022 when there was a bit of a hot tub shortage. They found me the hot tub I wanted and went through everything about the hot tub BEFORE it was even installed. The installation process was simple as they were at my house within a week to put the hot tub in. But their service didnt end there!! I had a couple of issues and questions after the hot tub was installed. Gregg P. and his service team not only promptly responded to my questions but they even came by the house to make sure that I was 100% satisfied and my issues were all resolved. After 2 years, I still have questions every now and then. And the entire staff is ALWAYS willing to help guide me through the process. I have even done FaceTime videos with them as they helped me resolve issues. If youre thinking about purchasing a hot tub, you cant go wrong with Concord! I would give them 6 stars if I could!

License plate number begins with 2118. These people are dangerous drivers it should not be allowed on the road. I saw this vehicle having a dispute with a truck while driving on the Northway. During this dispute they cut off multiple cars to squeeze on to an exit and almost caused a serious accident. I highly suggest not using this company.

From the beginning things were confusing .they tell me to get my own dumpster and then they showed up with theirs I had no idea of what would price would be or anything. Cement people did a really really sloppy job and I didnt care for the landscaping company either so I have to admit youve been over backwards to make sure we had what we needed. Problem with Concord pools is they dont back anything or any of the work thats done for it under their warranty you have to call another place for the warranty for the heater they dont you dont go through Concord any problem you have you dont really seem to go through Concord so why do they charge you so much money. They charged me $300 to open my pool and then because the heater wasnt working we couldnt even use the pool it would have been better to just leave it covered for a while and stay with cleaning it out daily waiting for someone to come and fix our heater . its brand new of last April. The first I was pleased with the customer service because they seem to care but then I realized they dont they just say what you need to hear and do what they want to do Hey dont show up on time they show up on days they werent scheduled. They sell you the most expensive item and then they dont back it up when it doesnt work the very first year. I am extremely unhappy with the service and the purchase and if it wasnt the pool I would give it back but unfortunately its already dug in and put in the ground.

My pool was originally installed in 1989. In 2018 I had a new liner installed. I was told that wrinkles on the steps would eventually resolve, they ever did and I now have horrible wrinkles spreading throughout the pool. Covid closed everything down and I was unable to get assistance and each year they have gotten worse. I am extremely disappointed since Concord blames chlorine for the issue. I am very disappointed by the lack of customer service by Concord since I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years. My liner is a eyesore and Concord will not send someone to look at it.

Best place for a water test. They are always knowledgeable staff that are trained compared to other places that don t know what they re doing. Any pool needs you need, this is definitely the place, sometimes prices can be a little on the high side but they do have a rewards program you can build up points with and save money.

Went there to have our pool water tested and they were very helpful in recommending ways to take better care of out pool. Staff was very helpful and friendly throughout. Yes, some items are on the pricey side, but pools are already pricey.

The worst service ever!!! I will never use or refer Concord pools ever again. First!! They are anxious to get your credit card on file so they can charge it anytime they want to. Then once they get your credit cardthere is little to no communication from anyone. They have this no contact process for their pool technicians for COVID reasons but then they don t communicate or call to tell you what the technician did or the pool needs. They never even opened my pool. Sent me to another department for repairs. They never called me I had to call them. Then repairs sent me to the diver. Thankfully, the diver wasn t trying to charge me for something I didn t need. But, sent me back to Concord. Needless to say my pool was never opened!!! Then!!! They came to close it on the scheduled date and because the pool cover wasn t outside of the shed they didn t put the cover on!! But!! Charged me $237!! This is the worst pool company I ve ever heard of or dealt with. Totally disappointed and I wouldn t recommend them to my worst enemy. Poor communication and customer service.

Just needed a hose for my pool and they were the only ones that had it and it was inexpensive. Would definitely be using their services for my pool supplies in the future.

Arrived on Friday October 21st to close my pool, Ross would not do anything I ask him to. He said he would return the next day then changed his mind to Monday. I waited all day Monday and no one showed up. Worst customer service in the world.!!!

I recently purchased a new pool from Concord pools that was installed in October of 2022. I am writing to highly recommend that you work with Concord Pools when you purchase, install and maintain your pool. Any pool purchase is a significant investment whether it is a more modest pool like I purchased or a complete backyard makeover. I researched and met with Concord competitors and soon realized that I would get the most value for my money, and have the least risk of something going wrong, by partnering with Concord Pools. Concord used their experience to advise me on how to maximize my pool choices and stay within my budget. Additionally, and to me most importantly, every person I worked with at Concord Pools treated me as a valued customer, everyone. I was walked through every aspect of my pool choice, the installation, and the operation of my pool. No question I had was too small or treated as insignificant. And I now have the peace of mind of knowing that Concord Pools is going to be there over the life of my pool. It really is a partnership to ensure that my pool experience is everything I had hoped for. I would caution anyone considering new pool companies in the area, to ask a lot of questions. Ask how long they have been in the pool business, ask if they have had problems installing pools too high or low, ask about their warranties, and check if the company owner actually signs their purchase contract. Everyone has to make their own choice, I m just glad I chose Concord Pools.

Bought a Michael Phelps Signature Spa from Concord year and 1/2 ago. I got it from the spa fair up in Altamont in the fall. No complaints at time of sale. MY issue is with the Service. My spa was not cheap however getting someone to come out and fix issues is like pulling teeth. For my latest service issue Ive been waiting Since December to get a side panel fixed. I also called almost 2 months ago now to fix a broken intake. Called several times to follow up, Never get called back, Cant tell you if the part is ordered, cant tell you when someone will be out. Well I ordered the parts myself and fixed it myself. Took 3 days to get. Very disappointed by the quality/lack of service.

I purchased a Twilight Master Spa less than 2 years ago. The control panel on the interior of the spa has quit working over a month ago. I have called Concord Pools repeatedly and get no response. No return calls, nothing. The control panel is under warranty. Do not purchase a spa from Concord Pools. Prior to purchasing the spa from Concord Pools, I previously owned a spa for almost 20 years that was purchased from Islander Pools and never had a problem with service. They would usually service the spa within a week of calling.

Had my spa chlorine in stocks. In and out in 5 minutes even when was busy inside. Staff friendly and helpful

Concord installed our pool over 20 years ago. We needed to have the liner replaced this year. Perhaps they are under-staffed like so many businesses these days. I took a day from work to be present while the work was performed.The crew came to our house, installed the liner and left. If I had not gone outside to speak to them, they assumed nobody was home and did not make any attempt to talk to me. They were efficient and courteous but they left a giant pile of trash, we were not expecting that. Concord is difficult to contact and there was very little communication. Charged my credit card with no follow up. Our liner is wrinkled, hoping it comes out and we do not have to contact them to discuss this. Considering the large expense, I am a bit disappointed. Our account is under the name Johnson. My husband would like to discuss having the wrinkles taken out of the new liner.

I called about getting a connector for my power supply for my Hayward robotic vacuum. John from service was extremely helpful. He told me he had a few different used connectors that he had in stock and would set aside for me to match up with mine. I picked up the connector and it works perfectly! Best part is, I didnt have to wait months like I would have with the online retailers because of the supply chain issues from covid! Thank you so much John and Concord for getting my robot running again and saving me from hours of vacuuming for the rest of the season!

Considering the heat and having to wear mask, Ill have to say the sales people were doing a good job. The attitude of some customers was UACCEPTABLE. Thank you to all the salespeople who were doing a great job with customer service.

Had the pool chemicals I needed in stock & recommended how to add to pool. Lot is in good shape (pavement is smooth & well light). Knowledgeable & friendly staff.

It was a great experience even just shopping for hot tub supplies. They didnt have in the store the chemicals that I needed, so the manager made a quick call to get it on the next truck. He arranged it for me so I could just swing by and grab it and gave me a little bonus very usable item for my inconvenience. Their service rocks.

They were able to get the stuck pin out of my backwash valve so it could be disassembled and the tiny leaky gasket could be replaced. For a few bucks, the gaskets are replaced instead of $89 for a new valve! In a few days Ill bring back my empty chlorine jugs from last year and get a refill for this year.

The entire staff at Concord Pools always is so friendly and helpful. It is very obvious how much the owner Mike cares about his business and his customers. I have a great experience when Im just in for something routine like buying salt, but also have a great experience when I have an issue and need help. This is my second pool with Concord and would recommend them to anyone. if you go with anyone else it would be a big risk- no one is more knowledgeable than Concord!

Mike and his team were absolutely wonderful to work with. The attention to detail, the timely manner, the amazing quality in there products. The time spent going over all the details. These guys do it right!! I m thouroughly impressed and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pool big or small.

I shopped several pool companies multiple times. Yes, you can find a cheaper inground pool, but you pay for the quality of the job with only the best materials and tremendous customer service. I learned early on you get what you pay for, and several of our friends went cheaper and had the horror stories to along with it. We worked with Michael Minogue, and he answered questions via email at all hours of the day and even weekends. Once the project began there was someone there working every day for 3 weeks. Concord IS the PROJECT MANAGER so you dont have to find your own concrete team, electrician, plumber. Ask for Jimmys crew to install, Marks crew to do the cement work and Joe to do electrical and you will be very happy. As a kid, we had a pool installed by Concord, and 25 years later it was again a great decision. Mark Dorr - Niskayuna.

Got a quote for a hot tub a month ago and was told that there would be a blow out sale in July. Just went to the sale and was quoted a price that was higher than the original quote. When I pulled out the written quote they said the salesman made a big mistake. Not a big blow out sale . Seems more like a bait and switch. Unfortunate because I was ready to buy.

You know that you are working with a great pool company when they play a key role in construction training for the pool industry. Michael and his crews are absolute experts in the field. Their attention to detail is amazing. I doubt that any other company comes close to providing the comfort level during the pool installation process that Concord does.

I have been using Concord pools for all my pool supplies and maintenance for 25 years. They are always professional and proficient. They are the best pool company in the Capital District area and I highly recommend them.

Tried other pool companies but end up back here. Price is not inexpensive, but their work gets done and is quality. Tried to get new ladder cups installed w another outfit and got 6-8 mos, of run-around. Concord showed up on time and got it done. Kudos to Concord.

Worked with Concord to build an in-ground fiberglass pool in 2015, very happy with the experience and the final product. Recently I came home from a trip to find my salt cell had burned out and I believed I was having issues with my pump. I called Jeff who contacted me right back and helped me figure out the pump issues and I worked with Bill and his crew to come out and look at the cell. The work was scheduled quickly and my cell was replaced under warranty. I would highly recommend Concord for their great service and professionalism.

Brought our pump motor in for repair. Got it back with the wrong plug on it .Then had to take it back to have the correct plug put on so we could even plug it in. Now we get it home and it wont even turn on. So not only did we make an extra unnecessary trip there to fix their error, now the problem is even worse than it was to begin with.

Always been extremely helpful. We have owned our house for three years and have used Concord to open and close the pool every year. We have had a few issues with the pool and they have always been extremely helpful with advice or special ordering parts to fix our pump or salt generator. They are always very prompt and professional when servicing our pool as well.

Weve had them open and close our in-ground pool the last couple years. A couple times, problems arose during the open/close and they were kind enough to stay late to resolve things before they left, instead of having to schedule a separate visit. The problems were issues with our equipment, not problems theyd caused, and they were going above and beyond to fix things immediately for us. Though the service has been great, my experience with scheduling has been frustrating. The hours of their scheduling staff is limited, so Im always having to leave a voice mail, not getting calls back. Their scheduling policy is to schedule for a date and they call the day before or the morning of to give you the time, which is irritating.

Our experience has been excellent from sales to construction to service. No complaints. Would definitely recommend.

Concorde pools fulfilled all their promises made. They made the process easy and enjoyable. We also used stamped concrete around our pool from a guy named Dan who was recommended by Concord. We love our new pool and we know it will last many years to come due to the solid structure that Concord uses. Thank you Concord!

Fast, Knowledgeable, Efficient

I went to Concord pools for an in ground pump problem. The company that actually installed my pool was no help at all and I have had issue after issue with. And another company I called wanted $1700 to replace something that didnt need to be replaced. Then came Concord, they treated me like they installed my pool and I had been a customer there for 20 years. They came to my aid immediately and literally saved my pool season. No other pool company I will ever need or use other than concord from now on.

Went there to get a replacement gasket for my pool filter, which was a custom model made by Concord. They did not have the gasket in stock, but offered to order it for me (at the cost of $40). As it wouldve taken a few days to get it in, and I wasnt too happy about being tied to their monopoly custom parts, so I replaced the filter instead. Decent place to buy supplies, but I wouldnt get equipment from them. Get something like Hayward, lots of places will have replacement parts.

I have been a customer of Concord Pools since 2004, when they installed an inground pool for us as part of a new house construction. We also bought a spa from them at that time, and recently went back to buy our second spa. The construction process was smooth, and weve enjoyed our pool very much, but that is only a small part of the story. Concord has consistently stood out as a business where their products are built to last, and they stand behind them with outstanding customer service which separates them from most other businesses that I deal with. I can still walk into the store today, and the VP who oversaw our pool will recognize me by name and ask if everything is still good with the pool. You dont find that in most places. When you buy from Concord, you really are investing in excellent customer care from that time forward. I have had only two problems with the pool in the time since I bought it, and both were fixed quickly and under warranty. All I had to do was call and tell them that something wasnt working right, and it was fixed almost before I knew it. I didnt even have to ask what to do - as soon as they heard that there was an issue, it was repaired. Our second spa which was just delivered required a complicated recessed install that necessitated two visits. Though you might think that a process like this would come with an extra set of fees, Concord didnt charge extra. Just another example of how they go out of their way to make sure that you, the customer, are taken care of. The entire staff, from management on down, is uniformly friendly and helpful. From the front desk staff, to the folks who check your water chemistry, to the repair staff, everyone strives to make you a satisfied customer. Its hard to find this level of customer service in any business, so I cant imagine going anywhere else for my pool or spa needs.

I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you and any of your future customers how happy and satisfied we are with our pool and all the service/dealings we had with Concord. Starting from the first time I stepped into your Latham showroom looking for a spa and pool, salesmen Michael Minogue and Jeff Kaufer took the time to listen and truly understand what I was looking for in both. After explaining to Jeff I had lower back issues and was looking for hydrotherapy relief from a Spa, he thoroughly explained the differences between two models he recommends and then had me sit in both models prior to making my final decision. Since I have never owned a pool, Mike patiently and with great detail explained the differences between pool constructions, chlorine vs salt generator, sand filter vs canister filters. His expertise made our decision process easier and more informed. After listening to Mike and looking at the construction displays in the showroom, it was obvious the resin pool was the way to go especially if going with a salt generator. Than during one of the wettest and craziest Spring in years, everyone at Concord continued to press forward and work with anyone who was ready to go. After plowing my entire backyard Ralph came out, completed his site survey and ordered all pool materials to be delivered so my project was ready to go. As soon as the weather allowed, an excavation crew showed up to dig the hole and Jimmy was there the following day in a parka ready to start pool construction. During a month and half delay for concrete due to weather, Mike was in constant communication keeping me informed of my position in line and asking what my schedule was making sure we didn t miss an opportunity to get the cement poured. Now after the cement was poured, we went into our electrical waiting list. During this time, we were contacted by Dale who wanted to make sure the pool water didn t get out of control and had his department come out a couple times to clean the pool and chlorinate the pool until the salt generator would be ready to go. The other amazing thing about dealing with Concord is how long their subcontractors have been working for Concord, making them an invaluable asset in the pool construction, as well as, how Concord holds their subcontractors accountable. My first electrician failed to show up at our scheduled time. After calling Concord a new electrician was recommended and the previous one was taken off my project. Bill who poured the cement, made outstanding suggestions on the shape of the concrete border around the pool, which definitely added to the beauty and function of our pool. John, our new electrician who connected our Spa and pool, recommended a lighting set-up and location of outside outlets around the pool, which once again added to the function and enjoyment of our pool. Finally to complete the entire pool project, Concord recommended Chris of AFSCO fencing. Chris just like the previous 2 guys was a tremendous help, and his suggestion of a combining the privacy fence with the fence we originally picked not only saved us money but immediately gave us the privacy we were looking for from the street. Finally 3 months after purchasing my pool, the pool was complete and we were ready for our demonstration. I totally understand there was nothing Concord could have done to complete my pool any quicker, but the reason I am writing this letter is because of the way Concord handled the delay. Mike Minogue was there from beginning to end, every step of the way. I know without a doubt, I was not the only frustrated customer calling and asking when my pool would be completed, but every time I called -whoever I talked to treated me professionally and I felt they were actually concerned with whatever issue I had that day. In today s day and age when customer service is scarce, it seems to permeate throughout the entire Concord Team. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to excellence!!! I must share my excellent experience that I had with Concord installing my Viking Figi inground pool. From the start Rich, Michael & Dale were extremely attentive, knowledgeable and personable. They made me feel like I was their only customer. I feel they went above and beyond what I had expected. I am very happy I chose them!

Great experience for getting a pool. When it comes to pools you get what you pay for in a product. I look for a company that stands behind their work and Concord does. A company is not judged on how they are at their best but when they are challenged. This year was an extremely challenging year for constructing a pool but Concord always pulled through and was never willing to rush something just to get it done which would compromise their quality. In the end I would do it all over again with this company! The support of Rich, Dale, and Jim was outstanding throughout the process to get things done right the first time!

I have been using Concord pool for open/closure of my in-ground swimming pool during last two years, I was fortunate enough to receive smooth and professional service until this fall, when the technician forgot to turn off the power switch and let pump dry-run for 3 days...today they send another technician, very friendly and professional, explained some of the mechanism and possible failure modes of pump, and replaced 2 gaskets. Hopefully the pump can be re-started fine next spring. keep my finger crossed

Worst customer service ever! We wanted to have a pool, and the basic thing we did was to start figuring a basic budget-estimate. The first appointment was canceled (no explanation); the second appointment, the man arrived at our place half an hour late. Then, we wanted to go into specifics as we had not been given an actual price...just a range from 27 to 32K. The day we wanted to go to the showroom, that person was unavailable, and the one present there (without offering a chair, just standing) told us that the prices and all those things should be discussed with the original man. Conclusion, either you accommodate (i mean you, the one who will disburse 30K) to the capricious schedules of these people, or otherwise you should go to a different company. Quite pathetic.

Personnel is extremely knowledgeable and helpful answering inquiries in a timely manner. Concords opening & closing schedule has been flexible meeting our schedule. I hired Concord pools to open my pool for the last few years. I did not have a bad experience until this year. The only reason I am posting this review is that I called 4 times to complain and asked to speak with a manager and no one ever calls me back. The crew that came to open my pool left the invoice thrown on my deck. The crew did not complete the job because they said there was no power to my pool. Now I dont know a lot about pools, but I do know how to plug in the filter which is all I did to get the pool running. The crew did not plug in the filter and therefore could not check if my pool was running. No one called me to say there was a problem and I was lucky that I found the receipt because they did not even have the courtesy to place the invoice in the mail box. I was charged the full price for the opening. When I called to complain, the rude woman on the phone lectured me that the crew could not possibly be expected to plug in a filter. She was so rude and said that she was too busy. I called four times and emailed the vice president and NO one has called me back.

I had my pool opened by these folks and they found that the backwash pipe was not draining. Instead of investigating why (it was capped - placed there by them at the closing), they opted to cut the pipe and install a hose that didnt reach the same place as the pipe exit. I had them come back and undo that work and they charged me for another service fee. I went to the store to request a refund and a man named Ralph came out and grilled me as if I was a criminal and was trying to rip him off of $150. Did you touch the cap? Did you close the pool? Did you know there was a cap? etc. Congratulations to Ralph. He saved the company $150 at the cost of a customer and this review.

What an amazing company! Concord Pools went above and beyond to deliver superior service throughout my entire inground installation. From the initial conversations on design and layout with Brad, to the outstanding construction team with Rich and Ralph who worked tirelessly to complete the project on schedule, made it a dream come true! And their vast pool float selection-the connecting pizza slices (w. drink holders might I add), and the watermelon have got to be my favorite! The showroom staff and Forest always take such good care of me whether it be for a routine water testing, assistance in getting my sustain start up kit to my car, or helping me add to my now very large float collection. :) Will definitely recommend to all of my friends!

Concord has been serving our pool for over 20 years. The technicians have always done a quality job on our filter and liner replacements. They close our pool every year and get the job done in 15 to 20 minutes. Amazing how fast and efficient they are.

Installation & construction great. Forest Smith at their Latham office was exceedingly helpful in rectifying some service issues that I had encountered.

I cant thank Forest enough. On Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving I drove up to the store and noticed they were closed. While in my car figuring out where to go next he came out and asked if he could help me. He opened the store for me and got me what I needed. Thanks to him our Green Egg got a home and we will have a Turkey cooked on the Big Green Egg. Thanks so much.

I purchased a hot tub about 3 years ago. When I purchased the tub the salesman told me how great the customer service was. Well just recently I called to get a price on a new pump. My husband is handy so he was going to replace it himself. I called the Latham store where I bought my tub. The person on the phone told me I needed to talk to Jeff but he was busy with a customer. I asked if anyone else could give me a price and they said no. So I called the Clifton Park store. They told me I needed to call Jeff at the Latham Store. I asked them if they were kidding. They said no. So I then tried the Saratoga Store. They were closed. Now I called back the Latham Store. Jeff went home. I couldnt make this up if I tried. Sorry but this is not the customer service the salesman described when I bought my hot tub. I have since found another local place to buy my pump from. Im not happy with that kind of service and Ill be buying parts elsewhere from now on.
