Haven’t had a bad experience yet at Gotham City. Juan, Axel, Val and the rest of the crew are always friendly, attentive and straight forward with the explanation of repairs, expected completion date and assist with a rental if needed. I don't trust my vehicles with anyone else.
I cannot think everyone at GOTHAM enough for all of their hard work and dedication in restoring my little Honda Civic that some random asshole decided to crash Into one night! Nothing like a random hit and run to start your new year off proper. But the people at Gotham? They are the absolute best! The work the team did was beyond excellent. And the customer service was excellent! Val keep me in the loop with everything that was happening the whole way! When I got my car back you couldn't tell anything had ever happened! It's like my car is brand new again!! I can't believe it! They even fixed a major dent on the passenger side that some other idiot decided to smash into while I was parked on the street - all at no extra charge!! Honestly, these guys are the absolute best - they didn't just restore my car - they restored my faith in humanity. My car was completely washed and detailed when I got her back. She was spotless inside and out!! Val, Juan, Axel - you guys are such superstars. Thank you and the entire team at Gotham for bringing my Honda back to life🙏
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the repair process at Gotham City Collision due to multiple oversights, delays, and a lack of communication, all of which caused significant inconvenience. Initially, I understood that the delay was due to Tesla parts shipping issues, which was beyond your control. However, even after the parts arrived, the estimated completion time was pushed back at least five times, further disrupting my schedule. Throughout the repair process, I noticed a lack of thorough assessment and communication. The front-end damage was something I had to discover myself midway through the process and request to be added. Later, when picking up my car, I immediately noticed a large misalignment in the hood, which your team had completely overlooked. This should have been caught during inspection, rather than left for me to identify. What frustrates me the most is that your shop seemed to be communicating only with the insurance company while completely ignoring me--the customer who initially chose to trust your shop and selected it for repairs. Your lack of attention to detail forced me to make multiple trips back and forth, endure long wait times, and constantly follow up on issues that should have been handled properly the first time. The commute alone took 2.5 hours round trip, and I also had to repeatedly go back and forth with the insurance company because of missing or overlooked repairs. Additionally, your team repeatedly told me that they would call me with updates on the repair progress, yet after my initial drop-off, not once did I receive a proactive call despite numerous promises. Every single update came only because I called and asked, making the entire process feel unreliable and unprofessional. Another major issue was the charging situation. At least seven times in the week leading up to pickup, I reminded your team to ensure my car was properly charged. When I dropped it off, it had 75% charge, and I specifically requested that it be kept at a similar level to avoid inconvenience. However, when I arrived to pick it up, I was told that "charging is slow" and that "even after overnight charging, it didn't reach full capacity." This was simply not true--I had been monitoring my vehicle through the Tesla app every day, and I saw that it was never charged until three hours before pickup, when it was briefly plugged in and then disconnected. While I appreciate that the staff remained courteous throughout the process, attitude alone does not resolve issues. This is why I am rating my experience 2 stars instead of 1--because while the team was polite, the repeated delays, incomplete assessments, lack of communication, broken promises, and charging negligence made this an extremely frustrating and time-consuming experience.

I came here to fix my car’s fender, front bumper and rims, and can not be more happy with the end results! The craftsmanship was amazing and my car was returned like new, including a wash. The attention to detail is incredible. The service is spot on as well, the staff gave a detailed explanation of expenses and helped us out with every question we had. My car got hit parked on the street a few weeks ago and my entire front bumper/grill, quarter panel and light were pretty damaged. I brought my car to Gotham City Collision and was extremely happy with my choice of auto body shop! The service was beyond amazing. Chris and Laurie did a great job guiding me through the process and providing seamless and informational updates on the progress of the repairs being made to my car. I had gone through insurance and got a rental car while it was being fixed and they even helped me with getting the rental car and returning it. If you ever go through something as stressful as a car accident and having to get it fixed I highly suggest taking your car here. The customer service was above all I have ever seen. My car ended up looking amazing (see photos). The paint is seamless and you couldn't even tell it got hit! When I picked up the car Chris did a great job explaining the work completed and my warranty benefits. Something I might have forgot to mention is that this was the first time in my life going through something like this so I was initially very scared and not sure what this process would look like. Overall Gotham City Collision really made this experience an easy 5 stars!

I couldnt be more satisfied with my car repair at Gotham. My car was completed in the time frame quoted, for the cost quoted and it looks like new. I was also completely happy with the service. Valentina kept posted with all the progress, and she answered all of my questions. Juan was was especially helpful and set me up with a great, reasonably priced rental car that I needed while my car was in the shop. The entire process was a breeze and everyone there made me feel like family.

These guys are the best and I would not take my car anywhere else in the city. A rare find as they do great work and are very honest. Just picked up my month old Mercedes with which I had a very unfortunate front end incident. My new car is still good as new! This is the second MB they have fixed for me, the first being when I was rear ended 2 years ago. I can only say they have made their operation even better. The GEICO ARX program they have set up takes all the pain out of the misery of fixing your car. The GEICO adjuster starts you off, moves you to the Gotham City person, and then to the Enterprise rental person who gets you on your way! All within 30 minutes. They start ordering parts right away, and get you back your car quickly. This place also texts you updates on the status of your car, and has no problem answering calls if you have them. update. Years later my newer Toyota Prius had an accident. Theyre still an excellent shop! My older Mercedes was damaged on the trunk by a neighbor. They were willing to pay and were honest about it. I shopped and got estimates. And I have to say they were stellar. The job they did was excellent and they went above and beyond. Could not be more pleased or recommend them more. Jim was awesome to deal with and made sure it was done right. She looks better now than ever before.

Gotham City Collision went above and beyond with their service and patience with my insurance company and my availability to pick up my car. It looks like a brand new car, and they even cleaned and detailed the interior, painted the little chips on the hood, polished it, the whole 9 yards. I wasnt worried about it getting stolen before because it looked like garbage, but now I am a little worried because of how nice and shiny they made it look! Very, very happy with both the customer service and service of the car.

This place is legit!! Juan and his team took excellent care of my car. I had a minor accident that required bodywork, rim repair, and paint touchup. They didnt pressure me or try to rip me off in anyway. Juan (the owner) gave me options and was incredibly honest & transparent. The quality of the work was impeccable and price was incredibly fair. I will continue to give this shop my business and would not hesitate to refer friends/family

If you re wondering why they have such high ratings it s for good reason. We took our car there and will now never take our car anywhere else. They are super courteous, keep you fully informed on progress, communicate thoroughly, and they returned the car back to use washed and fully cleaned (we were a little embarrassed about that since we still hadn t cleaned our car from multiple beach trips). Don t even call around. Best shop we ve ever used, hands down.

My father has been a mechanic operating his own business longer than Ive been alive and Ive been to many body shops over the years. I grew up in garages and let me be the first to tell you that Gotham is a WORLD CLASS operation. Im immensely impressed and couldnt be happier with the work theyve done to my car that was rear ended by a drunk driver. They are extremely detailed but most importantly HONEST with their assessments. I wanted some extra work done, but told me it wasnt necessary or worth the time rather than just take my money that I was WILLING to spend, this is a HARD find. Go to this place with full confidence, they have a customer for life in me.

Been to Gotham city 3 times now, once for my wife s car(Audi Q3) and twice for my car(Tesla Model 3). Gotham City does excellent work and their customer service and communication is top notch. Wouldn t take my cars any where else!

Gotham provided the most professional and user-friendly collision repair experience I can imagine.
Customer Service was great throughout the process and repairs look fine (will check in again in a month to see if they hold up). However the one very annoying problem is when I opened my truck a few days later, there was a puddle of water (very lazy bad washing job of my trunk liner). In additional, they moved all my stuff into a white garbage bag (expected). However the bag had a ton of water in it so all my stuff was soaked and sitting in water! Running my car seat covers and windshield.

Excellent team, excellent customer service, and excellent quality of repair. In the past I have often found shops are fine with releasing less than perfect repairs just to keep cars moving through. That is not the case with Gotham. The team did a great, and thorough, job of not only fixing the damage done by an NYC Sanitation truck but also the subtle work of color matching and blending the panels. When I picked up the car it felt brand new, both inside and out. I could not recommend them enough.
This auto body repair shop is the most reliable, detail-conscious, and professional auto service repair my family and I have ever done business with. My husband usually handles our car stuff, but in my profession, I hear about a lot of bad experiences with other repair shops. Based on our experiences with Gotham, I can confidently say this shop is trustworthy and will be our go-to for any work we need. We ve had the unfortunate luck of having to use them twice within the past year or so. This last time was due to significant damage from hail. They not only beautifully restored our vehicle, but detailed it inside and out and returned it looking brand new. I can t say enough good things about them. But suffice to say we ll be back! (We just had another fender bender)

We moved from Long Island City to Hoboken, NJ a couple years ago, yet we returned all the way back to Gotham City for recent repairs on our BMW X7. They are both (a) very good at their craft and (b) extremely friendly/easy to communicate with. Really believe Gotham City is the best shop in the area. We won t go to any other shop - for us it s Gotham City.
If I could give this business a 100 stars I would. A long time ago, I had a Nissan Maxima that I bought used, and on my way to Canada, a crazy driver hit me from behind and ran away ( He had a huge truck). After talking to GEICO, I took the car to Gotham Collision and could not believe how wonderful the job was. My car had over 200, 000 and they made it look new. Unfortunately, he was pretty beaten from the previous owner and I had to get rid of it. Then I bought my dream car, a 2018 chevy Camaro. Not just any Camaro mind you, but one that has a V8, itss juiced up...it has the works... The color is a mosaic black, which is not just black but a metallic black. Well, unfortunately, my car was vandalized... and I was HEART BROKEN, until I remember Gotham Collision. They took a look at the car, explained everything clearly. In fact, the first adjuster from GEICO that did the estimate on the work needed did not take into account other scratches that Gotham Collision noticed. They truly really listened and worked out details with me, that were missed by the insurance and told me how to go about it (ANOTHER PLUS!) and not only that but they are SO SWEET. Highly Professional, but kind, down to earth and believe you me, the REAL DEAL. Not like other fake businesses, that they are shady and they do mediocre work....no no no no no... They have pride in their work. They explain everything. They help you to understand and they negotiate with your insurance, which is amazing because they have the understanding of what needs to be done more than me, as they are trained professionals that understand how to get the best work done. I dont write many reviews, I just dont have the time, but after receiving my CAMARO today back... I was SPEECHLESS and really touched. They worked at your car with love and care. The owner even told me my car was beautiful and for me to enjoy my car. These guys are all class. DO NOT waste your time for body work and repairs with people who do the talk and no work to show. Use Gotham Collision and I promise you, YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart... you made my year!!!!

My parked car got hit twice within a few weeks by two different drivers. I was upset that I had to deal with the accidents now. Luckily, I found Gotham City Collision and they did great work on the car. The whole process was stressful for me, but at the end of the day, I am very satisfied with their work on my car. I highly recommend them for anyone who got involved in an accident and will head there again if I ever experience another accident.

I brought my Q5 to have it fixed 2 weeks ago because Gotham City Collision has a good review. Gotham City Collision was able to fix the front damage bumper and fender and they did a good job. I picked up my car on October 18 and since I have high expectations with Gotham City Collision, I only checked the fixed front bumper, fender and light and not the whole car. Tonight at my parking spot I checked the car and found out scratches on the rear bumper that was not there when it was brought to Gotham City Collision. It seems that Gotham City Collision used my card and put a heavy object in the trunk and they dragged it to take it out from the car scratching the rear bumper. Those dusts/ soil were not even there when my car was brought to Gotham City Collision. What happened was annoying. I brought my car to get fixed, waited for 2 weeks and brought my car home damaged again. Its totally ridiculous! I find it very disrespectful for Gotham City Collision to use my car. So if you are planning to take your car to Gotham City Collision, think again if you love your car and wants to stay away from headache. You may want to check other auto body shop who knows better and will not use your car for whatever purpose. I will definitely not going to recommend Gotham City Collision to my network.

I have used these guys a couple of times as a cash pay customer. (not through insurance) Im very happy and satisfied with the whole experience. Both times I dealt with Axel and got exactly the results I wanted. Im quite particular about how I want things and notice small imperfections. Axel completely understood what I was looking for and got it spot on. I never had an issue but, I get the impression they would look to fix any legitimate problem you have. The second time I used them I picked up the car on a Friday end of day. (getting dark) Next day it rained and I kept the car in the garage. The first opportunity I had to see the car in the sun was Sunday. I could see they did a really nice detail and polish. For a 17 year old car they matched the paint perfect. (rear bumper this time) I was super happy. So happy in fact that I went back over to shake Axels hand again and thank him the following Monday. When I walked in I could see everyone was concerned and wanted to see if everything was alright? I guess not many people come back to say thanks? I get the impression they will handle any legitimate issue promptly and make it right. Luckily no issues here and I love the text updates. Thank you Gotham!! You Rock!!

Extremely disappointed! Poor quality of work. Did not complete my bumper and instead just polished it and tried to hide the damage. I picked the car up at night so was not able to inspect it properly. Messed up my side mirror and refused to take any responsibility for it, instead only focused into wanting to file another claim. What a scam!!!!! . I am also reporting them to BB. Extremely rude people. Do not recommend at all!! I also let my insurance know as well.

Brought car in for some bumper work. Electronics and lights involved. Insurance covered. Walked through, gave an estimate. All in the work took a little over a week. They obviously gave me a longer delivery date and beat it. Did other general tests and adjustments on the car and it s basically brand new. Great staff and shop!

Gotham City was All hands on the Vehicle they were all Professional they knew what the Vehicle needed.,and how much time it was going to take they gave me an estimated time And so it was. Excellent work that and Im Happy with the work the vehicle received.
We recently had body work done on our 2015 Honda Odyssey. Gotham City Collision was professional and so friendly from the first moment. They were more personable and organized than any other car place Id ever worked with. They made me comfortable with the process the whole time and communicated so clearly! Im really happy that we found them and were able to work with them! We will not hesitate to go back if we need repairs in the future. The process with our USAA insurance was seamless as well.
Repair was completed ahead of schedule. Vehicle delivered clean inside and out. Very good quality work but a bit pricey if you have to pay out of pocket. You get what you pay for.

I took my car to Gotham City Collision in LIC to repair my driver side door and fender and to replace a cracked driver side side mirror and cap. All items were replaced with oem parts (covered by my insurance after after Gotham s Chris sent photos and an explanation to my adjuster. Thanks Chris!). The installation and paint came out excellent and perfectly matches the OEM paint! I opted for some additional full car paint buffing and a repaint of the driver side rocker panel (deeply scratched by my excitable puppy) so that the rest of the car matched the new painted area. Gotham was transparent in their explanation of the process and delivered my car on schedule. This is the second time Gotham has repaired my car and I will absolutely come back in the again for all my body shop needs. Thanks Juan, Chris and team!

They look like they are top notch, but the wait to do work is very long, but they do great work. Just get a appointment thats decent.
The guys are so nice and helpful. I only needed air in my tires and one of them immediately told me to pull up and did it. They re all really friendly including the boss/owner, I ll definitely be back.

Amazing place to bring your car.
These guys did good work, were friendly, kept me updated with progress via text message, got the job done a bit earlier than quoted, AND detailed the inside of my car even though it was just my rear bumper that needed work. Also a left a winning scratch-off ticket in the car (just $15, but still), and it was happily waiting there for me when I picked up. Repair was fully covered by insurance after the deductible ($500), and the place was recommended by both Geico and Tesla. The work itself was pretty $$$ but again, covered. Provided someone else is paying, Ill definitely use this place again.
Gotham City Collision damaged my cars throttle while performing body work. I drove my car, which was fully functioning, to Gotham City Collision for body work and when it was ready my car would not go over 5 mph and I found myself in traffic in a very dangerous situation. I left my car there, received no call from them for 5 days and they again called me to pick it up even though it was never fixed. Gotham City Collision claimed no responsibility for the fact that my car was inoperable, said they were checking it as a courtesy, and that it was due to a preexisting condition. They claimed they did not have the expertise to fix my car so I had it towed to the dealer. The dealer found no chewed wires cause by mice as Gotham City Collision falsely claimed. The dealer replaced the throttle which cost me over $600. My car was completely operable when I drove it to Gotham City Collision and inoperable when I picked it up. This is a clear-cut case in which Gotham City Collision caused damage to my cars throttle. I feel cheated and disrespected. BEWARE!!!

Gotham City Collision is the best place to bring your vehicle for cosmetic repairs. My Toyota Rav4 was hit (while parked) on the back by a driver whose insurance had Gotham Collision as a repair shop. I read the reviews online and decided to give it a try. I was not dissapointed with the results. They did such a wonderful job that my Rav4 looks better now than before. Like they say in spanish: No hay mal que por bien no venga. Excellent body work done on our car. Everyone at Gotham City was friendly, professional and helpful from beginning to end. The work took about 2 weeks and Gotham kept me posted via text throughout the entire process. When we picked up the car it looked brand new! Very happy customer as would highly recommend!
