I have used them multiple time to remove a car blocking my driveway. They were ALWAYS quick to respond and quick to remove the car. I plan to use them in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

Calhouns Trucking here! These guys are the best in town. They are very responsive and go out their way to make sure you are satisfied! We were stuck on the high way and they went out their way to get us some diesel fuel to get back up and running! They save us from spending a total of $3000! I highly recommend them!!

Our companys truck had a dead battery on Roosevelt Island and I looked up a company ASAP since our drivers routes will be ruined if it wasnt fixed quick. I didnt catch who I spoke to, but they picked up so quick and I didnt realize my phone sound had issues but they werent rude about it and texted instead. I know NY traffic is terrible, but they got to my driver in 45 minutes and it was resolved fast. Im a fan of personable and fast service, and thats what they delivered. Ive used different NY companies in the past for a variety of truck problems and the experience was nowhere near what I had here! Thank you guys! Will 100% be using you again if anything happens.

After a frustrating blowout on the highway, I was dreading the long night ahead. But when the towing company arrived, everything turned around! They handled my Mercedes with such care that I immediately felt at ease. The driver was not only professional but also had a great sense of humor, turning what could have been a stressful situation into a fun adventure. The worst thing that can happen is being locked out of your car in another state away from home with your family. I was in Manhattan visiting Times Square when my husband left our car keys in the car. I called several nearby towing companies that charged me insane prices. Luckily, I found New York Towing and Recovery and the young man was so nice, helpful and provided reasonable price. He arrived on time and saved our night. Couldn t be more happier and pleased with his service. He even gave us good tips to access Times Square which rescued our night. Very grateful with his service. Definitely recommend this company.

I got a flat tire on the RFK and panicked.New York Towing and Recovery stayed on the phone with me while I got off on the next exit. I was driving with my hazards lights on. They reassured me it would be ok. 30 minutes later they found me and got my spare tire on. Also filled and checked all my other tires. Fast and reassuring and priced fairly.

I caught a flat on my ebike and I was unprepared. And I was very far away from home. These guys came and helped me take my ebike home at midnight. Lifesaver! Jay even helped me carry it all the way to my garage so I can safely store and repair it. Now I know who to call if I ever have a flat again - car or whatever needs tow!

I am extremely impressed with the service I received from New York Towing and Recovery Inc. After an accident left my car undriveable, they arrived quickly and handled everything professionally. The driver was knowledgeable and took extra care with my vehicle. Their communication was excellent, keeping me informed throughout the process. Their rates were very reasonable, especially given the high quality of service.

I was stuck in Astoria at 11pm the day before Memorial Day. No tows would come but only Jay. Thankfully he got the tire and put it on for me and I was able to get home to NJ that night with my car. He really helped me out and I appreciate it so much. Thanks again!!

This is my second time working with them and they deliver on their word. Very courteous as well. Highly recommend.

Tony and crew helped me out when I was stuck in the rain with a blown out tire! Other tow companies wouldn t take me from Manhattan to Queens but it was no problem for New York Towing and Recovery. Wait time was short and the work performed was professional. Will definitely give these guys another call if I m ever stuck again.

The guy was rude as hell, I called the first time to tow a small j car from LIC to Prospect Park and Empire boulevard and he said $175 and when I called back 20 min later he hung up on me and I called back and he said $300 and hung up on me. Very unprofessional

My car was vandalized in August this year. Jordan came within 2 hours of me calling to tow my car away. He was polite and friendly and gave me his advices on how to communicate with insurance companies. He comforted me during a stressful time. When I asked if I have to pay anything upfront for storage cost, he said dont worry about it, insurance company would cover it.

The initial phone call was so full of warmth. I didnt get his name but he was so caring especially about my pregnancy. Letting me know the drivers ETA to keep my mind at peace. My car had a flat tire I contacted new york towing and recovery for roadside service and I was giving an eta for 45 minutes but the driver came within 20 minutes from making the call. The driver shown alot of empathy being that I was stuck on side of the road with my two children. I was back on the road within no time . My car had a dead battery last week, so I contacted New York Towing for a jump start. The kind man on the phone said it would be 30 min eta, they showed up earlier then the prompted time which made me impressed to begin with! The tow truck driver even recommended me a battery for better lasting performance, and guided me through the situation. This company is highly recommended, and we will be using them again in any emergency!

So demanding, overpriced $270 to tow my car 10 blocks? My car is 3-4 blocks away from their location. I am taking it to my mechanic and it s like 10 mins drive. He said it $270. I called a different location where they charged my only $100. Terrible, Terrible They take the advantage of us getting in trouble. Not HELPFUL at all.

BEWARE! This place is a HUGE SCAM. If you car ends up in their possesion, GET IT OUT IMMEDIATELY! Our insurance company sent them to tow our car after a horrible accident ( our first one). They not only were holding the car hostage, but they were trying to charge our insurance over 1500 for a one night storage fee. Additionally, they had my car parked on the street as opposed to in a lot. They refused to answer the phone when my insurance company called and once they did answer, a fraudulent man named John to say they were a different company. I had to call the COPS! And then when I did have another company pick the car up, they tired to take it to a junk yard and have it auctioned off! John who runs the company under different aliass is a scammer and a coward. He tired to take advantage of me. PLEASE BEWARE. if you come into contact with them, GET OUT! This places needs to be shut down by the state

Picked up a Uhaul from here. No issues.

Would give 0 stars if i could. The lady that works here is a totally C U Next Tuesday. We were 45 minutes late for our reserved appointment for Uhaul, which I acknowledge was not ideal but got stuck in traffic. However, they were still open and she refused to give us our uhaul which we desperately needed for work. Waste of time, waste of money getting there and back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
