Mario and the entire Transmissions R Us team are incredible. They are knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and always do everything they can to ensure that you're receiving the highest quality service. One thing that I love is that Mario not only does a great job with my car but he also takes the time to educate me on transmissions so that I have a strong understanding of what's being done with my vehicle. Mario has been my transmission guy for over 10 years and every interaction with him has been stellar. I always feel like family everytime I come through. Mario not only sourced a genuine OEM Nissan transmission for me but also installed a new transfer case, all covered by CarShield. I recently bought a 2009 Town and Country Van with a Rebuilt Transmission which was rebuilt by a shop in West Hampton on March 15th . The Transmission failed on me and only the original owner was covered with their Warranty. I had the van towed to Hector and he rebuilt it the correct way and changed a abs sensor and did other stuff not involved with the transmission FREE OF CHARGE! I only paid him for the Rebuild of the transmission! He went over and beyond his call of Duty for me and my Van!! Im going to Transmissions R us Since 2015 and he did 3 Transmissions for me on 3 different Trucks and i never had a problem with them!! He is 1000.00 cheaper than the other shops and really cares about doing quality work! i wouldnt take my vehicles anywhere else!! He is the best in this Field!!
Had my 2016 Honda HRV transmission replaced here. Mario gave a fair price and gave me my car back in a reasonable amount of time. Went above and beyond to get car on done on time in a time where car parts are more expensive or hard to get. Very professional. Highly recommend for all your transmission needs.
I'm very pleased with "Transmissions R Us" and the work they've done on my Toyota. I highly recommend this shop. I had a check engine light on my vehicle for years and mechanics couldn't quite figure out what the issue was. After running a diagnostic of my own, I brought it over to Mario here in "Transmissions R Us". He and his team were able to fix the issue and I've been able to finally get rid of the check engine light! I'm about 500 miles in since the fix and my car has been running great. I'll be returning here for future issues I may have, be it transmission related or otherwise.
Johnny and the guys at Transmissions R Us are top notch.These guys know transmissions. I brought my minivan in from New Jersey. 2004 Ford Freestar. They explained to me what was wrong with the transmission how it was rebuilt as well as tips on prolonging the life of the newly rebuilt transmission. The car was slipping before and would not go in reverse. After picking the car up and driving it I feel like its 2004 all over again and we just got it at the dealer. Shifts smooth no noise not a squeak. Drop your car off here in confidence. These guys have the skills to do the job right at a reasonable price. Price as as quoted. I needed a motor mount replaced so they called me for approval and installed the part for the cost of the part only. Gentlemen thank you! our beloved mini is back in business and we could not be happier.
I had to shop around and find a great deal. Most places where upcharging north of $2,000. Mario and his staff here we're very nice and very affordable. What's more they warranty their work which most other places refuse to do. I have nothing but great things to say about the shop. Rebuild my transmission for a reasonable price and that was two years ago still no problems. I will be bringing my truck in for service very soon definitely recommend their shop. Also he answers his phone and is very straightforward and knowledgeable

They do lousy work you will spend $2,400 on a rebuilt transmission for it to break down exactly 12000 miles later avoid them at all cost save your money go elsewhere
they have no experience in transmissions to charge the customer if they learned I took my 2005 Chevrolet Silverado and came back 2 more times for not doing the job well if you want to give money go with them

I dont know view is still out on these guys they are friendly Johnny especially nice guy butttt gave them my 2009 Altima SL to rebuild transmission and been a challenge for them so far 4th time taking the car back for a few month stay and its only been a year not even 200 miles since rebuild???

They couldnt fix my car
Not a professional shop. Unexperians mechanics. Service on a front deferanta. installed with out changing axel seals..front deferantal leeking.had to take vehicle to other shop. Throughing your money away is you go there.
I fix my suburban transmission they gave 6 months warranty but first week I found problem my car take them back to fixed . But they kept my car in week and gave me back then I drove two week and found again same problem and take to them ! This time they kept my car three weeks without work then they gave me back but my car still problem , they didn t properly fixed or they don t know how to fix. There s is two boss when you go back they showing each other that s totally insane.
Dont ever bring ur car here , big mistake, theese people are absolutely bad at their job all these reviews are fake , last year they rebuilt my transmission 4 times and everytime it will break down . Please dont come here its a waist of money and time. They take their time and try to make the warranty go away
They have completely satisfied me on two occasions over the last three years. Professional gentlemen. Reasonable prices and excellent workmanship. I wouldn t think twice about recommending them. Period.
Avoid this place - my transmission needed a $100 shift solenoid, but they were either too lazy or too greedy to swap only that, and insisted instead on selling me a complete $450 valve body. When I picked up the car, they had broken my hood latch and denied it to my face when I mentioned it to them, and then to top it all off, they overfilled the transmission with ATF to the point that it was foaming. And thats supposedly their specialty? This place is awful, although they at least did resolve the solenoid code... But geez.

Took my 2005 honda odyssey to them and they rebuilt my transmission.in 2016. In 2017 the transmission went bad and they replaced it the second time. In 2018 my engine light went on and it was the transmission again. They wanted to charge me $900 just to look at the transmission. I refused if they couldnt do it right twice, ehat makes them think that they could do it right the third time. I will never take my car there again and advise everyone to do the same. They are very incompetent. Had to take my business elsewhere. Stay away.
Mario is the best rebuilt my daughters transmission on 02 camry XIE V6 had a problem 8 months later stand behind his warranty fixed problem car is running 2 years with no issues

The owner Mario is one of those few people that you are lucky to meet in life...Hes incredibly honest and sincere .... not to mention his work is off the hook..... his prices are sharp and he stands by his work .Im a very satisfied customer.
The transmission on my 2005 Acura went bad after purchasing it two weeks prior, every auto shop wanted to charge me an arm and a leg especially the dealership I found this place doing my own research and staying with the car and additional 3 years after no problems cheap with warranty I highly suggest. I got the transmission rebuilt here late 2014 I sold the car back in 2017 almost four years later the new owner tells me absolutely no problem with the transmission
Mario and every worker there are beyond helpful! Went in to fix my 2005 Honda, to get a few things done, that in other places wouldve cost so much more and they wouldnt have done a great job like this! 100% recommend to all.
