They towed my car quick and took me where I needed to go

Waited 7 hours for a tow and they never showed. Called multiple times and they kept promising they were 30 minutes away. What a waste of time.

This is the 2nd time my roadside company uses them and I m gonna make sure I let AGERO KNOW TO GET THESE GUYS OFF THE NETWORK !!! They are EXTREMELY horrible ! I don t recommend these guys and if roadside sends these guys to you make sure you request another company! They give you false time or show up and don t wanna do the job !!!!!!!!! I wish I could give 0 stars !!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for absolutely nothing- waited 1.5 hours for a tow truck and when I called to ask where they were no one even picked up. There s no weather, no excuse. Unreal.

They were selected by my insurance company. They texted me and said ETA was 90 minutes. I waited for 2 hours and they never arrived. I called them up and they said ETA was 45 minutes. I called my insurance company to find out what was going on, when my insurance company called them they said ETA was 1 hour. Whe I googled them they were 2 hours away from were my car was. I had to cancel the request and called another tow company that was nearby. I waited for 5 hours. This company is awful.

Tow company never came. Waited for a total of 3 hours in the cold with a car that won t start. I called for an ETA and they said the driver will be there in 45 minutes. I waited an additional 1hr 30mins and they still never showed up and also stopped picking up the phone. Stop wasting people s time if you can t handle the work!

Inappropriate tow truck drivers, laying on their horn honking for no reason. Disturbing businesses and pedestrians. Tow truck drivers giving jerk off hand signals, did report to state police and gave them the license plate numbers of both tow trucks with the descriptions of the drivers. This company needs to speak to their drivers about how they should act especially if they want any business. These tow truck drivers are so disrespectful

Assigned this company through Acura roadside assistance. After over 2 hours waiting for a tow they called me and told me it would be another hour. Another 2 hours later and they cancelled.

Cancelled the ride and no one relayed the information, then towed my car and threatened to impound it. Yeah no good.

Lil Pete s was called by my insurance to come and tow my car. I was told 90 mins which i understood because of how far away they were compared to me. My pick up time came and they were no where to be found. Called and spoke to someone they said their guy stopped to get someone else were going to drop that car off and be here in about another 60 mins. I was extremely disappointed that they picked someone else up before they came to me. I don t know any other company that does that, very unprofessional

DO NOT USE FOR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE. THEY WILL LEAVE YOU STRANDED. Update 9/13/24 After the company responded below I attempted to contact them as they requested. Someone answered the phone and refused to give me their name. When I explained politely why I was calling they immediately hung up. On 9/13/24 I requested roadside assistance in Rockland county. Once again little Pete s immediately accepted. This is despite the fact that I was three counties away from them on a road the are not allowed to tow on. I canceled and contacted an actual local tow company. I m contacting the county district attorney and state attorney general in the hopes of putting these scammers out of business permanently Original review: Accepted a roadside assistance request from Allstate. After 4 hours and multiple assurances that they would be there in 30 minutes I cancelled and reported them to Allstate for leaving a motorist stranded. Did another roadside request and got another company who actually showed up.

Horrible service never showed up uses a BS excuses. Lil Pete is big for BIG BS excuses.. Never let your insurance use this towing company.. They will make you wait and leave you hanging.

My insurance called them to tow my car to the nearest charging station since I was extremely low on battery and wouldve been stranded had I attempted to drive on my own. Maverick kept me updated on his ETA and was extremely friendly and helpful when he arrived, and made the whole process a breeze, I appreciate his excellent service.

Was giving a time frame of when they were supposed to come it s been now 3 hours late and nobody is answering the phone now. Stay far away from them never use them ! The reviews are real this was third party towing arrangement now they are switching to another towing company.

If you re stranded on the side of the road and have 8 hours to wait for a tow truck then these guys are for you! Everytime you call for an update, they re 15 hours away but never come. You have a better chance of your father coming back from getting the milk than you do these guys showing up. There is one plus side to Lil Petes, I got a chance to read an entire book while waiting for my tow truck. Thanks guys, you suck!

I would also give 0 starts if I could, so I will say the 1 star is for the driver. He was cool. The rest of my experience was very very very bad. Today I had a Horrible experience with roadside assistance. GEICO dispatched Lil Petes automotive to come and tow my wifes car. After 3 phone calls, and 3 separate times over an hour apart I was told over and over again that a tow truck was on its way and would be there in 30-45 minutes and I would receive a call 15 minutes before arriving. Each time I waited about an hour with no phone call from a truck, or dispatch or anyone. I sat on the side of the road for 6 hours today waiting for a tow truck. While I sat there waiting I also looked them up on Google only to find that they have dozens of reviews from people saying the same thing. Please everyone, if you receive roadside assistance from this lil Petes place, request another towing service. You can do that. Just do it immediately before you wait for hours and get lied to multiple times. And shame on you GEICO for using this place with Soooo many reported issues of leaving customers waiting and waiting with no accurate ETA. I KNOW MISTAKES ARE MADE AND ACCIDENTS HAPPEN BUT THIS SEEMS TO BE A REOCCURRING ISSUE.

Worst towing company never came to pick up car on Friday when it was scheduled didn t come on Saturday didn t come Sunday cuz apparently the body shop is closed was supposed to come Monday morning but no show had to keep calling over and over till finally they came after 4 then apparently they took my car to the bodyshop and they says the body shop refused to work on the car cuz it s a totally lose like completely lying my car was still working perfectly fine only damage was to the windshield from a branch falling on and the battery was dead due to the blinkers running all night as I wasn t able to turn it off no matter what I did so we found new shop through my car dealer that will fix it and they been holding my car for days and refusing to move it to the body shop Never mentioned anything about need a payment from the insurance when all three parties were on call and agreeded to move it the next day and when next day comes they tell me they can t move it because they didn t get a pay when the insurance did pay they say their boss needs to confirm it but he s out for the day and can t do it till the next day again. This people are literally scammers scamming money from ppl get this business out of work.

I had such a wonderful experience dealing with Brittany at Lil Petes this morning. I wish i could say the same for the people at Jeep, but Brittany was absloutely fantastic in helping me get my car where it needed to be. It has been a stressful day, but knowing you can count on intelligent people and a reputable company like Lil Petes may a tough day a lot easier!! Thank you!!!!!

My car broke down on 84 and my daughter and my 6 year old grandson were with me. I cant say enough good things about Maverick the tow truck operator. Besides towing my car, he helped me get my luggage through a field and up the hill we had climbed to a rest stop so that we were safely away from the traffic. I then realized I needed my grandsons car seat and he went back a second time to get it. Along with the car seat, he even brought my grandsons stuffed animal and one of his Lego cars. He gave me his cell phone number in case I needed any other help. It turned out I did. I had to have my car towed a second time-- to the dealer the next day because of a warranty issue. Of course I called him. It was a scary situation and his kindness mattered.

S c a m!!!! Was contacted via state farm at 7:30 am. Was told 2 hour wait. Waited 3 hours and then was told 30-90 more minutes then once it hit the 4 hour mark past 10:40 AM I was told the little petes truck was pulled over by the police and impounded and that they will be sending another truck!!!! HOW IS THIS EVEN SAFE. They are using unroadworthy trucks??? They said they was expediting me a new tow, but I am all the way in orange county and they are from mahopac. Thats over an hour away from me, they lied an said 30 minutes. Well an hour and a half later past 12 noon still no truck and no update. They were supposed to show up within two hours. After an hour and 45 minutes, they said they could no longer complete the service. I now have to wait another hour and a half for someone else.

This company sucks I ordered roadside through my insurance company and they had me waiting for five hours after telling me 90 minutes max and still never came. I would not waste my time with them they need a new dispatcher or something because their customer service skills suck and they cannot prioritize things at all.

Terrible. My work van needed to be towed they gave my fleet service an eta of 60-90 minutes. Then about 2 hours later pushed the time back. Then another hour later I got a call from the driver saying he s on his way with an eta of 30-45min. Called and was put on hold without them even saying hello, joke of a company.

Lil Pete s was dispatched from my insurance company for a jump start. Dispatched at 10:13am, was told 60-90 mins. After they no showed and we re contacted by my insurance company they kept updating eta to 25 more min. Around 3pm, they told my insurance company that the jump start was successful and they completed the service. I called immediately because no one came. They told insurance company another 25 min, 15 min and so on. It is now 5pm and they never showed up, just like all of these other reviews said. I was stuck with two kids, pregnant, and missed an important doctors appointment.

Waited around 3 hrs for service, never got it. State Farm ended up cancelling the service because the waiting was unacceptable.

Lil Petes was dispatched through roadside assistance because my battery was damaged and wouldnt take a jump. I had another battery and Marvin did not leave me stranded. He changed that battery and made sure everything was okay before leaving. A+ service!!

My insurance company called them for a tow because my Jeep was overheating. Lil Petes left me on the side of Route 6 for 3.5 hours they never came the original eta I was given was 90 minutes and then they kept pushing that time frame. The last time I heard from them was 3.5 hours into my original call for service and they couldnt give me an actual time frame they just told me the driver will call when hes close. This company is straight TRASH!!!!

I had a pickup window between 7-11 a.m. Called several times and they RUDELY told me they were on their way each time. Its now 12 hours later and they still arent here. Im not interested in using them anymore.

I waited three and a half hours for a tow for them to finally admit they were not on their way and had no idea when they would be able to arrive. Just the fact that your dispatcher is that disorganized and you have no order and no way to tell your customer where they are in the queue is so unprofessional!!!!!! Unbelievable - I had my 5 year old daughter with me and we waited from 6:40pm to 10:15pm and had to call another tow company who arrived within 20 minutes. DO NOT CALL THIS BUSINESS! GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!

I have never been compelled to leave a review in my life. Until now. LYING PETEs has done it again, like many others have noted - they accept calls and rescues through insurances and then dont respond, just criminal tactics all around. Local, reputable mechanics have told me they may even wait for you to abandon your car so they can steal it. The will lie to you all day long to make a buck. Do not give them your business. Do not ask them for help because you wont get it. LIARS.

Ditto to many of the reviews here. Pothole sliced my tire and I went through my insurance (Allstate) to hire a tow. Lil Petes came up almost immediately to take my job. Estimated time was an hour and a half. At the hour and 45 minute mark, I called and spoke with a gentleman who told me the driver had been called back to the shop and was about to head out again. OK. Sounded reasonable enough. Then I looked up the company and was shocked to learn they were located in Mahopac, about 50 minutes from my location. I pushed down my concern because, this was through my insurance company, right? They must be legit. At the 2 and half hour mark I called again. The President is in town and its creating a mess on the roads. What? Just another half hour. Now its 9:00pm, 3 hours after my estimated pick up time. I continued to wait. A half hour goes by and I called again. Phone rings off the hook. This is when I got my insurance company involved. They tried to call Lil Petes and couldnt contact them. I tried again. No answer. Now its 10:30 at night. I finally got someone from Allstate on the phone who did get an answer from the company. Ill give this rep a shout-out for his little humor he threw in - We finally reached someone and Im just going to guess they told me the same thing they told you. Another half hour, right? I suggest you cancel this job. Well find you someone else. Thank you, Michael. Another company wouldnt be able to get me for another hour or 2 so I told Michael I would leave my car where it was (thankfully I had made it to my friends parking lot) and I would call again tomorrow. Well, wouldnt you know, I put in another request for a tow the next morning and Lil Petes Automotive was the first to respond to the call! Needless to say, I immediately called Allstate and demanded another company and insisted they take Lil Petes off of their list. They canceled the job immediately and I FINALLY was relieved to see another company come up - On the Road Again Towing. What a lovely experience from Angelo. Turns out, this driver and his tow truck just happened to be a mile down the street from where my car was this entire time. Lil Petes jumped on the job so quickly, without any intention of picking me up, that this lovely company right down the road didnt have a chance to see the job. I was minutes away from rescue this entire ordeal. What a horrifying experience. This company has unethical practices, picking up jobs and taking the option away from local companies hoping that maybe something will bring them into the area to take your tow. Otherwise, youll just be abandoned. Oh, and just an extra snippet of fun - 5 hours after my car was towed by another company, Lil Petes had the NERVE to call me, 20 hours after they promised to get me and asked if I still needed my car towed. With every power in me to stay calm, I simply responded, No. and hung up. Please add this as another cautionary tale to all of the others. And if youre in the Wallkill area (but they go as far as Poughkeepsie), call On the Road Again Towing. They were a life saver for me.

Got in touch with these guys through Travelers Insurance for a Tow. Told me 60-90 minutes. Then told me they were 35 minutes away. Just called them 3 hours later and they said they were busy and had no ETA. My elderly Dad been on the side of the road in the heat for 3+ hours. Dont use these guys, completely unreliable.

Your company cannot even follow simple written directions, Allstate stated that the notes they gave your company said once you arrived at the dealer to call the number on the building sign. Your driver did not do that. He just chose to leave the vehicle where he wanted rather than getting instructions from the dealer, which was the whole purpose for him calling the number. I reached out to your company three times today to reassure that they had those instructions, was told each time yes yes, we have it and still driver did not do it. Y all are complete idiots that can t even follow direction. I will make sure that I am posting this on Facebook and every other channel where people will find out about your company because y all are ridiculous. There is no reason that it took him four hours to get to a destination that was a half an hour away that is utterly ridiculous and I ve also asked Allstate to take you off of their vendor list and definitely not assign you to me ever again . I have also asked them to follow up with your company to find out exactly what happened that you cannot follow simple instructions. If I could give less than 1 star I would. If I can give this company -70 stars I would. Absolute WORST towing company in all of westchester county. Learned these people were originally from the Bronx and GOT KICKED OUT due to them accepting calls and rescues through insurances and NOT responding. Left me stranded with my 3 year old in the car for 3+ HOURS and never came. Called them a total of 5 times, the first time was about 30 min into placing the rescue tow through my insurance and they answered, the next 4 were after 2+ hours of waiting AND THEY LET THE LINE RING, NEVER PICKED UP!!!! Didn t even have the decency to call back or anything. Operator picked up on the first call with attitude and could care less that I had my child waiting on the side of a very busy road after my engine shutting off while driving. Immediately called Skyline towing from mahopac and he was an absolute BLESSING. This company is absolutely horrible, full of people who are just there for a quick buck and never even help. I don t even know how they re still in business. If you get assigned them through your insurance, IMMEDIATELY call your agent and change them to Skyline. Came all the way from Connecticut in 25 min while I waited 3+ hours for this POS company that was 15 min from my location. THEY NEED TO BE CLOSED! Absolutely disgusting.

Would give zero stars if I could. My car broke down late Sunday morning in Stony Point, NY My auto warranty company, Carshield contracted Lil Petes to tow me out. Call was confirmed at 1:30 pm. They called me a 2pm to let me know they were about 45 minutes away. After about an hour, I called and was told they were in a little traffic and that theyd be there shortly. After another hour, with them still not being there, I called again and got sent to voice-mail, where I left a message. I tried again 15 minutes later and then again, got sent to voice-mail. At this point, I called my insurance company to arrange another tow. They told me about 90 minutes to 2 hours. I then called Lil Petes and was told Carshield cancelled their tow call. I called Carshield and they told me they never cancelled the order. It was clear that Lil Petes didnt want the business. I would NEVER recommend Lil Petes for anything.

Rude and unprofessional, if you call a tow truck you ll prob wait all day for them to not show up at all. If you try to call to locate your tow truck they ll just give you an attitude. DO NOT use this towing service.

I woke up with a flat tire and my insurance company sent this company to come help me. They came pretty quickly and I was able to get to work right after. Manny was the technician who helped me. He was extremely friendly and changed my tire for me super quick! He showed me that there was a nail in my tire and that was what caused the flat. I would highly recommend this company and Manny personally! Thank you!

Called them up . Was told they would be there within the hour. I followed up to confirm 30 min later . The gentleman told me we still Have 30 min . 3 hours later no call. Called them again and says they would be there in 35-40 min. I canceled. I would rather pay more to another company than deal with this level of incompetence and terrible service.

Yes, I would steer clear of this company, they towed my vehicle out of a family member s house and they tore the yard up completely, I reached out to them. They said they saw the pictures and they would fix it, but they never did . Now I have to make a claim against my insurance. . They answered my review and said they would take care of the lawn. They never did just so you know do not trust these people we already fixed it not them if we would ve waited for them they still be there..

This is the worst place ever, was directed to get a towing truck from my insurance company to tow my car from point A to point B. This place had me waiting for 5-6 hours WHICH IM STILL STUCK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD!!!! Then they ignored my calls after I ve given them enough time to come. This is ridiculous! I am a female stuck outside at dark! Been outside from 5-12 midnight !

We can t say enough good things about Lil Pete s and especially our new friend Mikey. My girlfriend and I went camping and my Tesla was stuck by lightning. After all the local tows refused to service our location we were stranded in the woods for about 17 hours when we finally were referred to Lil Pete s. Mike got there as soon as he could and immediately maneuvered his was through the dense forest to get our car out. He explained everything he was doing clearly and was sure to be transparent with us the entire time. I kid you not, we were convinced no one other than search and rescue could save us at that point. Mike drove us 2 hours to our service center and made us laugh the entire way down. His ability to connect and bring those around him joy is truly a gift! The ride with him was the highlight of our trip. We were fortunate enough to cross paths with such a great guy and a tow company that pays unique attention to care and detail. We d recommend Lil Pete s any day of the week, and especially Mikey!

Was assigned Lil Pete s from Onstar. I thought waiting 2 hours for the fastest tow to be a lot. But 5 hours later and 3 phone calls from the supposed driver that he was 30 minutes away I decided free from on star wasn t worth it anymore and paid for a tow. Went from 530pm to when I needed a tow to now midnight and finally getting to go home. Beware! Too many reviews with the same complaint. Even the second company i called on my own knew this company for not showing up.

This company is useless, I waited more than 4 hours and they did not arrive. There are several locations and all the comments say the same thing. I dont know why insurance companies continue to hire their services if they are terrible.

I have been waiting for the tow truck for almost 6 hours WORST COMPANY in the USA. Think twice before trying this company they are trash. The driver (Gasper) was exceptionally professional, patient, understanding, and thoughtful. I was short on cash and unfortunately could no provide a tip well worth the money. Health, peace, happiness, and success to the driver and his family. This service provider is highly recommended! :-)

Waited all day for a tow and they never showed up. They called the dispatcher that we ordered the tow through and said they were at the house and nobody was there. I was there all day and they still never showed up. We then called them directly after they said they were at the house and they said the driver was ACTUALLY 45 minutes away. Still never showed up through the whole day. Got the tow from a different company instead.

Driver was awesome! Tow truck was as well. Clean, big 4 door cab which is key if you get stranded with your family on the side of the road. Besides the driver I bet you could fit 6 more ppl in that truck. Awesome! My only downside had nothing to do with the towing company. My insurance apparently only deals with certain towing companys (nationwide ins) and I understand it was a Sunday bit it was over 100° in the sun, Im disabled so I could walk to get out of my melting situation the tow truck company was sent from Mahopac New York and I was 45-50 miles away when there was many local towing companies near me. I had to wait almost 3 hrs for the towing company to arrive. I had to drive the vehicle with no serpentine belt which can quickly cause overheating and serious damage to get myself to a Fast food rest a quarter mile away so I could get outta the frying heat. Thank God I was close enough to businesses to make it without causing any damage. Phew!

They were called by my insurance provider to come give me a jump. They were an hour and a half away. I called to see how long it would be before they made it here and the man said 30 minutes. 2 minutes after I made that phone call they canceled the trip even though they were only 30 minutes away. Would give them zero stars but thats not an option. Also the man was very rude on the phone and hung up on me twice.

0 stars 4 hour wait time! My car never reached dealership till 48 hrs later, gear skirt ripped n destroyed, sap or glue plastered all over my vehicle. DO NOT USE THEM!!

Horrible service !! After my insurance setup a tow they never showed up and had the nerve not to even contact me while I sat there waiting for 2 hours !! Don t use them they will never arrive. I requested roadside assistance for a pickup at 6 pm or so. This towing company called me at 4 pm saying that they are 5 minutes away while at the very same time, roadside assistance tells me that they are 55 minutes away. During this call from the towing company, we clearly spoke and I asked them to come later and they agreed. They did not show up at all in the end and had the audacity to tell the roadside assistance team that the customer was not home.

Despite what other reviews may say, this service seems to be reputable and you should have no hesitations about calling them. Chris was the driver for my tow today, and he did what TWO other tow services were incapable of- towing my Honda Civic. It was parked in my driveway when it stopped working, but that was no issue for Chris. He backed it down our windy driveway in neutral with no issues. All I can say is THANK YOU, for going the extra mile and actually communicating with me about my vehicle. Lil Petes was a godsend; I suppose the third time really is the charm! Thank you again to Chris who made sure the job got done. Couldnt be happier with the service Ive received from him!

very unprofessional and sketchy towing service. i had to have my car towed twice by them in under 24 hours through State Farm and both of the tow truck drivers kept begging me to let them take it to their yard even though i told them i have a guy already. why did you want my brand new car at your lot so bad? i also got a call stating the driver would be here in under five minutes after waiting 3 hours, and he took another 30 minutes to get here. definitely would NOT recommend them if you have a choice, look elsewhere. and maybe have a conversation with your kid drivers NOT to post people s personal vehicles on their snapchat stories.

Very rude and nasty workers

I got my car picked up on a flatbed and taken to Lil Petes for service. I really did some damage to my car not knowing if it was able to be fixed. The guys at Lil Petes managed to fix my car and although it took a couple days managed to get the job done. The price was reasonable and communication was great always keeping me informed on the work being done. So if you need a great mechanic minus the rip off prices alot of them include then Lil Petes is the place. Thank you guys and thank you Patrick.

If I could give 10 stars I would. The young man RJ was beyond professional, patient, and experienced. He picked my car up from Connecticut (Parway Towing) and he was able to start it when they said my key was the wrong key. He did everything that Parkway Towing said couldnt, in turn, they charged me so many unnecessary fees. I am so grateful that this company was able to get my car back to Long Island safely. I truly hope RJ continues with this line of work. I hope he can own company too because his customer service was great and he showed that he cared. He was very patient and attentive. Everything went smooth. I am appreciative of this company and would utilize them moving forward and recommend them to friends and family. Thank you, again.

I called for a tow because my car was stranded and I stressed to them if they could send a tow truck to me because my infant son was in the car. I was told I would receive a tow within the hour and no one came. I tried calling multiple times and got no answer. I never thought I would be writing a bad review to anybody, but if this is how they run their business, they shouldn t be in business at all. Do not call for a tow

I have never found a Towing Company to exhibit more criminal behavior then this one. They third party all of their calls, give you the run around, then it ended up with me on the Saw Mill Parkway stranded with 2 young kids in the car. They promised they would come to change a tire and left me for five hours. Even after they agreed to a price, they then raised it $150 and told me it had to be towed! At that point I had to get my kids home so I agreed. They never showed. Absolutely Horrible.

Then when I spoke up for myself the guy on the phone I spoke with threatened to cancel my tow job. Have they lost their mind!!!! Please do not use them . I only used them because that s all progressive had . This has been such a horrible experience I will be canceling my policy with progressive as well for even suggesting to use this tow company. Scam. Requested roadside assistance through State Farm. Waited three hours and they never came. I called for an ETA after an hour, and they were totally dismissive and condescending on the phone. Had my husband call an hour later, and the guy spoke to him completely differently, very polite and apologetic. Told my husband the tow truck had been called away to another emergency call, but would be there in 30 minutes. Obviously that didnt happen, either. Ended up canceling and going with another tow service. Avoid this company.

Horrible, I had my car towed from my home to a repair shop and the tower left my car at a business next to the repair shop, he left my car unlocked overnight and left my car keys in the car. I specifically told the driver to please lock my car and place the keys in the drop box. And he did not!!! I requested to ride with the driver ehile dropping my car off and was told that I could not. I wanted to ride along and arrange a ride to pick me up, for fear of this same situation, because I was concerned about this happening and it did. Very negligent. I would never recommend or use their services again.

My truck broke down and I called my roadside assistance company who dispatched Lil Petes towing out of Katona N.Y. The tow truck driver got to me rather quickly so I didn t have to wait long for him. But he said that he was not allowed to take me with him to the repair shop that he is towing my truck to. And that really pissed me off !! I had to find my own ride to the shop. And to really make it worse the tow driver just left my truck on the shoulder of a very busy road and didn t bother to put it in the repair shops parking lot. I ve been in the Automotive business for nearly 40 years and have driven tow trucks myself and never did I leave a customer on the road without giving them a ride to the shop. Very unprofessional!!!

Well, I have to say what my wonderful experience here is. I used my roadside assistance with my car warranty to have my car towed after hitting a buck, since the car keep overheating. So, I was connected with them since they happened to be closest towing nearby me. The towing guy was nice and friendly enough if not too eager to get company business. So basically, the puffing his place that they are preferred by my insurance company and that my car can be fixed within a week or a week and half. But the catch was they were very far away from me, over 40 miles away from me. Being tried and defeated over the accident, and the tow guy having his boss on the speaker to ensure me the car would be well taken care of, I accepted. Little did I know this spiral in a major nightmare. First my insurance company made it very clear they not preferred like they said they were so I was lied, second, my insurance adjuster could not find the place despite calling card I was given, hell I could not even find it, third I was informed about their BBB page and yelp page and when I read them, I knew I went through the rabbit hole here. So, my insurance company got their preferred towing company to get my car to my insurance preferred shop to get fixed and get me my car back. Nope. Lil Petes auto did what many others suffered their car being kept in their jail collecting storage fees, they had no intention of fixing my car, only to collect storage fees. My insurance company could not contact Petes nor could towing company that was helping me could, but when there was a call that got though it took 10 times to reach them and they stalling to give a total on the storage fees so I can bail my car out of jail. I even called them, and they are very dodgy and did not want to give names of people I needed to reach to speed up the process and definitely felt shady. eventually the company that saved my car did get a price of the storage fees and released my car from their jail house, but just squeeze more money more than week worth of storage fees they offered to tow my car to the preferred shop by insurance, not only did drag their heels and delivery my car after the shop was closed when they had more than 2 and half before they closed, they left my car in the customer/employee lot with keys left in car, rather than key drop box and not near the storage gate to be brought in. Am so happy I will never deal with again, a whole week it was left with them, when it could be worked on, instead I wont get my car fixed till after the holidays, because rather than a customer I was just sucker they could use. These people are absolutely predatory and wanted to get paid for doing nothing. I was preyed on, do yourself a favor and if you have roadside assistance get a company you trust and that local to you as well.

I was told up to 2 hours to get a tire fixed- they asked numerous times what kind of truck ( make, model etc.. ) then when I call 3 hours later to see when they are coming, they tell me they dont have a jack! Lying Petes. Theyll lie all day that theyre 20 minutes away because them making a buck is more important than your convenience or even safety. After 5 hours (3 hours past latest ETA) they never came and then finally hung up on me. They acknowledged lying about the times and said people would be upset if they said 4 hours. Yeah, of course they will. He had the audacity to say that to me after well over 4 hours of waiting. The state should shut places like this down and AAA should be ashamed for not having dropped them already.

I have a flat tire and Mercedes roadside assistance used this company to tow my car. I never leave reviews but I felt obligated in this case...I have been waiting from 10pm and it is now 1:53am. I am still on the side of the road. The tow company keeps telling Mercedes 30 more minutes and even told them they were on site but they are still not here... Still stuck on the side of the highway. Please request a different tow company if you see this used for Mercedes roadside assistance.

Tesla used them for towing, Tesla contacted them and gave us an ETA of 90 minutes, it has been 90 minutes, they told us to wait another 45, then another 45..... Then.... Tesla cancelled them and said Tesla isnt accepting Lil Petes anymore... I called many times and couldnt get through to anyone.

Ford should stop using them for their roadside service! Three hours later, they cancelled their ability to make it; meanwhile, theyd been updating with fake ETAs the whole time....DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!

CAR INSURANCE ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE SCAM. if you broke down and are going through your insurance roadside assistance and lil Pete took the case CANCEL IMMEDIATELY and call someone else. This company takes all the roadside assistance cases even though they may be hours away from your location. They hope they get another tow towards your location. If they don t then they may never come pick you up. I question the morals of this company keeping people stranded on the road.

Staff aré very unprofessional and. This is the worst experience I ever had I made a reservation yesterday February 20 for today February 22 at 9:00am and this is the time 1:08pm that they haven t provided the services.

RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. My tower was late so I had my insurance call the company to which they were told it would be up to 1 more hour before the tower arrived. 1.5 hours came and went and they still didn t show, so I called Lil Pete s myself. The guy who answered the phone said nothing for the first 5 seconds, then said Hellooooo in an obnoxious angry tone of voice. When I said hi, he said something along the lines of what?! No how can I help you. Once I explained my tow was an hour late he put me on hold for a few minutes then hung up. I called back and the same employee answered the phone. This time I was told it would be 45 additional minutes mind you it was 1.5 hrs late at this point. I told the employee if it s not here within 45 minutes, then just tell them not to come at this point. He replied saying may as well cancel now then and hung up. This guy should be fired ASAP or taken off the phone. Do not recommend.

This towing company provided an ETA of 30 minuites as of 7:07 p.m. and arrived @ 9:45 p.m. after waiting in a car with freezing temperatures for hours. Hadn t the towing company lied about the ETA, another company would have been called. Will never use this company again or recommend them.

My insurance company chose Lil Petes to tow my car. I looked at all their reviews and honestly, this is not a business I would have chosen myself, based on the overwhelmingly negative feedback. However, they showed up within the alotted time, ended up having to wait on me and did so so without complaining, and delivered the car to my home without incident. No complaints here.

Got my car towed by these guys after an accident. The people in the office where very rude and unprofessional. The guys told us we had to wait two hours to get our car back from their impound lot because they were busy even though they couldve asked someone else to help us. When we came back they wanted to overcharge us for towing a car out a ditch (it was the edge of the highway) alongside a cleanup fee when I did all of the clean up myself. The worst part is that when we said thats too much, they got aggressive and started arguing. I understand youre running a business, but that doesnt give you the right to show us attitude.

I would give this company zero stars if I could. They provided a HORRIBLE experience. My husband was left stranded for four hours in freezing temperatures at night. Their unresponsiveness and dishonesty over the phone were extremely disappointing. I strongly believe all the insurance companies should reconsider this place.

My boyfriend got a flat tire around 6:30am and called little Pete s towing. They told him they would get to him in 90 minutes, it s now almost 1pm, SIX HOURS later and he s still waiting on the side of a busy road for them. Every hour or so they call him and say 30 more minutes. We finally just cancelled on them and called Bobs towing who came right away.

If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. Disrespectful, rude and aggresive. Id push my car before thinking of using lil petes towing. Edit in response to owners response... i absolutely will not contact you. Look at the reviews, you have a track record of being a horrible company, possibly the worst in the entire county. Decent service, but i had to wait twice as much time as promised fir the delivery after the car was picked up. During the day would have understable, however considering it was a late hour of the night, with little to no cars on the street, it didnt make sense to have taken as nuh as it did.

Lil Pete s made two trips to attempt to save me from a sticky situation. I got my uhaul rental truck stuck in snow, but was able to get it out thanks to Ray! worst automotive service Ive ever experienced. I needed a simple lift out of the snow and they had me waiting for 7 hours. Tow driver was great! Dispatcher calling 10 mins before truck arrived then saying I could not ride with driver. Thankfully driver was understanding and allowed me to ride with him.

Never showed up! Repeated calls to them and my insurance with promises they would be there but never came. 4 different promised etas, took time off work, then they made me miss the body shop hours. Any good reviews they have baffle me because all I got from them was lies and excuses. Literally told be at noon that they would be at my house in 45 mins,when i called at 12:45 they said they canceled the tow and hour ago (which would have been 11:45) because of weather. Hows that? I m from Louisiana and needed a quick rental car and these guys were so nice and very professional!! They got me a car within minutes and had me on the road ready to explore New York City! We were very thankful we found them!

My auto insurance actually booked this towing via my app. Right away they sent me text confirmation with ETA and a phone number to contact them directly. The original ETA was 70- 105mins, something told me to call them after only 60mins just to confirm. The guy I spoke to was actually kind, he said that he just got my order and was working on sending someone over but it may take another hour, which was fine at that time but I did ask him if he could please make sure I would get the next one because my mechanic was expecting my vehicle which he made sound possible because there was two trucks in my area. the guy (Ralph) never got rude (which I can take) it was the patronizing and the stringing me along!. Every time I called there was a new excuse, The driver is not answering, there s a driver dropping off in spring valley, Now there s a driver dropping off in your area, I will call you right back, I will have the driver give you a call back, the driver is finishing up at a accident site and will come to you right after Not to mention he would put me hold after he recognized my number and I would have to call private or from a different number. SMH this went on for SIX hours! Thank God my auto insurance canceled them for me and the next assigned Tow company actually came and picked my car within the hr.. my mechanic left already but at least the car is there!

I highly recommend lil Pete automotive!!! I thought my battery needed a boost but my jeep ran out of gas on a hill. Gregorio went beyond out his way to help me get my car started. He was trying to tow my car to the nearest gas station but since my automatic brake wouldn t allow him to put my truck in neutral to get on the flatbed. He took me to the nearest gas station to get gas, filled up my gas container up for me brought me back to my truck and filled my truck with the gas. I really appreciated his help and patience. All this took place at 3am. I highly recommend him! Thank you so much!

If I could give negative stars I would. I got assigned to Lil Petes by my insurance roadside assistance when I requested a tow. I was told it would be 60 minutes. After 60 minutes I called and was told it would be another 30 minutes. After 90 minutes I called and was told they were only 10 minutes away. Then I got a text saying it would be 30 minutes away. Then I called Lil Petes and was told they were close. I asked where. They were still in a city an hour away. After more than two brutal hours waiting in a disabled car for help that never came, I canceled, called someone else, and literally got a tow in 5 minutes. Completely unacceptable level of incompetence.

This towing company gave me the WORST service I ve ever seen before. I called about a flat tire at 3:45 pm on the highway. They said 75 minutes eta.I had called about 4 times for an updated eta. To which they said within the hour . Imagine to my surprise when at 7:10pm, they still hadn t towed my car or given any updates. The management and staff at this location need to do better. Why say 75 mins eta when it s been 4 hours and no one has helped?

Without a doubt, the most unprofessional, uncaring, incompetent business I have ever dealt with. Put in a call for roadside assistance at 10:10am. Needed a tow. RA dispatched call to Lil Pete s who responded with an ETA of an hour 45 minutes. So 11:55 rolls around and still no tow truck. Call back RA and they tell me they spoke with Lil Pete s and it ll be another 40 minutes. So 1:15 rolls around and still no tow truck. So I call RA again and I m so frustrated they give me Lil Pete s number to call directly. After numerous calls, put on holds, dropped calls all together, I finally get someone at Lil Pete s who assures me the tow truck is enroute, only a few minutes away. That was at 3:30. 2 more calls. I call back again and finally get the same guy I spoke with at 3:30, a rep named Manny. This is at 5pm. After I express more dissatisfaction about the lack of service and customer service, I say to Manny I called you people at 10:30 this morning and it is now 5pm and I STILL don t have a tow truck!! God forbid my wife or daughter wasn t on the side of the road waiting for this tow truck ! You know what he says to me? Sir there is no God Forbid, no one is dying because of this today . Well I immediately hung up and called back Roadside Assistance, canceled the tow, called another company who was here to pick up the car in 25 minutes. Filed a formal complaint to Roadside Assistance management and made a call to the Better Business Bureau. 7 hours of being jerked around by Lil Pete s 2 Automotive. Do not use this company!!! They are the WORST outfit I ve ever dealt with.

This company is the most unprofessional, argumentative and abusive business I have ever worked with. The dispatcher threatened my fiance when he asked why they were 3 hrs late towing our car, without any notice or even a call letting us know they were running late. We called multiple times in the 3 hrs and they just told us they would be there in 30 mins every time without even checking. A truly horrifying experience. Avoid at all costs if you can.

USAA assigned this company as roadside assistance. Promised 60-90 min it s been 5 hours. If you re at or near West Point call Bosch, they ll send a tow truck and you can bill USAA on the back end. Update: tow truck showed up 4-5 hours after the original request. The dispatch, not kidding, called to tell me to take my above review down, which is pretty tame and accurate, or he would deny service. Service was denied, because it was my duty to warn humanity to AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I had to unfortunately go to this place to impound my car. This place doesn t even deserve a 1-star rating, it deserves no stars but I have no other choice since I do want my voice to be heard. Since it was towed here by the NY state trooper. I also made sure to call the NY state troopers to advise them of what kind of companies they work with so they no longer offer them this kind of business or Chi tracts. When my husband went to try to pick up on my behalf he experienced horrendous customer service. I then went in the next to pickup myself and I received the same bad customer service. Everyone I spoke with were unpleasant to speak with. The attitude they all had was terrible, I was so dissatisfied by the experience I had to go to and it is a shame to have such business be working with the state troopers. This place is such a DISGRACE. When they said customer is first at this place it is not applicable since they prefer to handle personal and or other matters before the ones in front of them. I had to wait for who ever handled billing because he was too busy to handle ringing me out and when he did have the time to get me cashed out he was the most disgraceful person to speak to in that location. I m just baffled by the lack of respect and lack of customer service they have to offer.!! I don t recommend this place at all. As a Hispanic oriented person I even felt discriminated since the comments they made seemed very much racist. Overall worst service ever.

Great experience. Service was quick and great with keeping up communication until the tow truck arrived. RJ towed my husbands Dodge Ram 1500 home and parked it perfectly in a tight spot in our driveway.

HORRIBLE SERVICE is an understatement. I agree with those who gave this company a bad rating. Lil Petes Automotive 2 Inc was dispatched with an ETA of 60-90 min but failed to show or call. I got a text from my car company 2 hours later inquiring on their completed service, which was never done! To makes matters worse, they had the audacity to scream at the rep from my car company and hung up the phone on her!

My mother always told me,if you dont have anything nice to say, then dont say anything at all. Just saying.

I had an unexpected problem that required the driver to go the extra mile. A car was blocking my car from getting towed and he went and knocked on several people s front doors and found the person whose car was blocking mine. You know who a person and/or a business not when things are going right but when things can start going wrong. This makes me think this is a business run by people of character and so I would highly recommend Lil Pete s who are BIG on service.
