Much cleaner and better organized than other Home Depot locations. But don’t ever get propane gas tanks here, twice I’ve done it when my local spot was closed and twice I’ve gotten a faulty tank.
The first time I had a bad experience at this Home Depot was this afternoon. The associate for the plumbing section was so indifferent. He didn’t seem to care or want to help at all. We brought the old parts they can help us find the matching parts. We were guided to a product only to find out that it doesn’t match what we need. The lady at check out was so nice, after knowing that we are not sure and she called for help we waited for a while and no one came. It’s probably the same person. She allowed us to open the box to double check and we found out we didn’t have the matching parts. I would be hesitant to come to this home depot after this, I miss having the knowledgeable and helpful associates we usually get there.
This is a better Home Depot. I have gotten paint here many times. I love to shop here. It is not as unprofessional but with the way things are going maybe it will be soon. I hope not! Love Home Depot <3 the paint is amazing has lasted many years and they know how to mix it well. My favorite is the Bher paint.

Don't buy any products from any Home Depot My mom n I bought a lg fridge first delivery the guy didn't bring in the fridge said the entry won't fit even if the doors were off. The fridge in the apartment was the same inches with the doors off, anyway took the fridge bk to the warehouse. Went to home Depot explained what happened, took the measurement of the old fridge n the new fridge n said it should fit. Well today again same crap took the fridge bk. He said if we bring it in to the apartment n it don't fit, we can't take bk to the truck. So my mom's like take it bk. But we're done with home Depot. I hope I helped other customers. Had such a a wonderful experience today while shopping for appliances. My husband and I bought a second home in P.A yesterday and we needed to get new appliances. We were in luck, Home Depot had a wonderful sale going on. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Meaghan. She was so kind and patiently walked around with us pointing out all the best appliances to fit our new home. Meaghan went out of her way to break down each appliance brands and what would be best for our needs and wants. If you are looking to buy an appliance and have no idea where to look, I HIGHLY suggest working with Meaghan as she will make the experience easy and delightful!
The rental department is like a joke. I tried to rent a carpet cleaner. The first day I went there, all big cleaners were broken. So I rented a small one instead. Brand-new, as claimed. Then next day I used it like 15 minutes, one nut broke, and whole machine was down. When I returned for a replacement, again not available, because all machines broke! Obviously they put a bunch of junk there for rent. And they refused to admit the product flow, they simply blame you for all faults and damand you for al damage cost. The employee there have zero care about customers. I don't know about other departments in this store, but I strongly suggest you to avoid this rental department like a plague!

I went twice to paint the area,for just a spray can and both guys forget the smile, not even eye contact. They seems not happy at all.
Guy went home to buy a shelf and it was sealed and when I found out its packaging was torn and used so that Home Depot made the Volvo a very degradable pastry that they do this type of thing they are going to get a bad reputation

This seems to be a new location, so not very busy. Still impossible to find help when you need it, but that s standard for most home depot locations. Tiny parking lot for a home depot, but easy to het to and conveniently located next to the Long Island Expressway.

Poor customer service. Some staffs I interacted with in this location are really rude and seem to have no experience in customer service. I stopped by to buy some paint and I asked one of the employees and he didnt speak a word, he would just point where the product is. After grabbing the paint I asked him where to checkout and he just stared at me and didnt speak a word. He rolled his eyes and pointed where the checkout is. I am not visiting this place again. I dont need to sympathize with people like him, I didnt speak rudely, I was polite, my inquiries were short, he just isnt fit to work there. This is gonna be my last time shopping at this place.

My experience with home depot has been horrible. Their customer service is tge absolute worst I have ever experienced. I bought a gas range and its been nothing but a fiasco. When you try to call customer service you sit on hold for unacceptable amounts of time and time and when you finally get someone they no nothing. I will never buy another appliance from this company

I love this Home Depot. Parking can be a little tight, but I always find a spot. The music...oh I just love the music they play, it just makes your shopping experience so much more enjoyable! The store is always clean, and their is always staff around to help you. Items are always well stocked. I went to buy some house plants, and even though its the end of the summer season, they still had a lot of beautiful plants for purchase. I want to give a shout out to Jasmine, who was our cashier today. She was so patient, and helped me to find the prices of the flower pots I wanted to purchase. She checked our items out, and was so pleasant to me and my daughter. Definitely recommend this Home Depot!

I have been waiting for 30 minutes for someone who can give me a gas tank, I notified 2 kisses, I think they forgot again.
Went for a last minute tool shop with my boyfriend. Had an employee ask if I needed help after he witnessed a bit of tension after an argument. I wish I got his name, But he was a young employee with glasses. Many thanks for checking in, I appreciate you trying to de-escalate tension and help me feel safe. As for 2 other employees at the store, There was sarcasm and humor which helped the shopping experience. Thank y all for having a bit of humor at our last minute shopping experience.

I went there last night looking for a grill and Ms Ana was so helpful, kind and she didn t look bothered. Such a sweet lady. The grill I wanted was high up on the shelves and not to mention the box was super heavy. She went and got it down for me with no hesitation. I wish we can come across employees like this all time. Thank you Ana for being so helpful and kind.

UPDATED REVIEW - My instinct told me to come back to this Home Depot as it compares favorably to others where you are made to wait in specialty departments, usually in vain as nobody comes after being paged. I asked one employee if there was anybody who could assist with a special order on a Sunday afternoon when most 1800 customer service phone departments are closed. The kind employee paged and not only did I get a staff member, a very kind and well-informed Assistant Manager named Nigel approached. I was treated like family as Nigel was honest, transparent, did not make promises he could not keep. I left knowing I was not being hustled and more importantly he knew his craft- the knowledge being imparted in a manner that was always respectful and true to business ethics, a phrase that has become oxymoronic in nature as of late. Thank you Nigel. OLD REVIEW: I was not going to give this location five stars as management seemed to depend too much of the self-checkout registers (that take jobs away from people) while there was only one cashier who worked her head off with grace, initiative and boundless energy. That cashier named Ashley was - by far- the nicest and most assiduous employee I have ever encountered. While she assumed her role as cashier with incredible efficiency, she also took it upon herself to assist those in the self-checkout areas. A person that valuable should be making much more than those who simply do not care about their job, company they represent and or clients they serve. Ashley is the sole reason I leave this five star review and I trust her superiors will formally recognize her attributes and exemplary work ethic in a time when the nation is having a hard time finding employees let alone high-quality individuals. This is my Home Depot from now on. Thank you Ashley.
I visit the Mas at Home Depot and one of the work is that try to help me with product that I needed and I told her can I speak to one of the supervisors she said the store has no supervisor because he signed down or what not so everybody s running around crazy Really really nice to say that I think this place needs some help and another thing I went to go buy a pizza plywood and there was pieces over there that I left over so I asked him how much are they? He tells me we can t sell them. We throw them out so I said why don t you? I ll take them. I ll pay for them and we just throw them out. This is completely wrong, I m not a lot of help and your employees running around doesn t do anything
Was buying lumber and when I parked my car, assistant began opening the trunk but an employee came with a table cart and hits my driver side rear panel and makes a scratch. I called management to explain what happend and they said theyll make a case for it and said sorry. Nothing was said about Sedgewick calling me. Ever since Sedgewick called me, I tried calling back but was unable to reach anyone. Did this for 14 days.

This store used to be great. Unfortunately I think it may be going downhill. Sections of merchandise like hardware fasteners are not organized, making it very difficult to find items and get an accurate price on them. Secondly I recently had to wait over 40 minutes to get some lumber cut while multiple associates said they couldn t help me and I just had to wait. That could easily be true but this was just a basic 2 minute job so it would fit in my car. I wish there were better home improvement stores, but they really all are not so great so that s why I still give this location 3 stars
When I was in the self check out the associate was invading my space kept interrupting my phone call and overall wasn t a pleasant experience

This store fulfilled an online order and made a mistake. HD customer support told me that the missing item will be delivered next day. Shortly thereafter the store called me to tell me I would have to pay another delivery fee for that. When I resisted and demanded they either fulfill the order as paid for or pick up the items and refund me in full the person insulted me. There are enough other hardware stores around - I deleted my HD account after this experience.
Key machine is always out if order. The automatic machine as well as the machine home depot employees use.

It s NOT SAFE anymore. It has become an increasingly HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT IN THE PARKING LOT WITH DANGEROUS DAY LABORERS. It was convenient for my location. .However I go the WOODHAVEN HOME DEPOT. IT IS MUCH SAFER WITH THE DAY LABORERS BACK NEAR THE END OF THE PARKING LOT. IT NEVER FELT THREATENING IN THE 25 yrs I ve been going. MAURICE AVE IS ANOTHER STORY. ITS A SMALLER. PARKING LOT AND THEYRE RIGHT UP IN YOUR FACE. HD HAS EVEN INSTALLED SECURITY CAMERAS. WHO WANTS TO DEAL WITH THAT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.

CAPTAIN CHRIS thank you! When you know someone cares about what they do it makes everything better. I witnessed Captain Chris running around cleaning up the entire parking lot when I walked in. He later on jumped in to help me not only carry, wrap, and assist me getting my 8ft Christmas tree into my vehicle but he did so with professionalism and kindness. I was lucky to have met the Captain tonight and I look forward to seeing him again when I come back.

My only issue with this place is when I placed an order for curbside pick up. I used the app to notify them of my arrival, waited in my car for 15 min and nobody came out. I ended up going inside and they seemingly had no clue that i was waiting. -- Update: Placed an order for pickup (only because i left my wallet at home and they dont take apple wallet). My order had 1 item in it and i arrived probably 30 min after placing the order. I told the associate that i knew i was probably early to pick it up and then she repeated to me that i had to wait 2 hours for the order to be ready. I pressed her and said, that it was only 1 item and asked if she could expedite it. (the store was very slow) She obliged and asked another associate if they could fill the order. Im happy i was able to get the order but my god, was she really about to turn me away and make me come back in 1.5 hours??

I visited with my mom to help after she experienced some terrible service in a prior visit. She had to purchase shades and we received the most amazing, personable service from Meghan. I was blown away at how incredibly attentive, sweet, genuine AND she was able to rectify my mothers previous situation. Meghan went above and beyond and although I dont live nearby, this will be my preferred store when needing assistance with appliances or window treatments. Home Depot if youre reading this, she should train other employees to standardize what customer service should look like at all stores.

This HOME DEPOT at MASPETH is fairly new and truly call it my second home but true. Great staff, CLEAN, well stocked no need to hunt around endlessly, and a roof top parking to make your trip worthwhile. Such a pleasure to just park the car without worry. To complete a great day at the Home Depot a row of eatery just outside it s facility to relax, enjoy and unwind. Never knew shopping for hardware could be so enjoyable
This store is the Green Acres Store next to Walmart Junky, nasty,short staff all the time You cant ring up anything at return desk . Cashiers are NASTY and I rather not go to this store EVER .

Bought an online item for in store pickup. Went to customer service and was directed to locker area where you scan/enter order & locker opens. Talk about smooth experience, I was in and out faster than you can tie your shoes! I highly recommend online pickup at this location.
Kevin was very patient with me and helped me check the reviews of a few products I was interested in and then he and Daniela worked together to bring down a medicine cabinet I wanted to purchase. There was a screw that was stripped and they grabbed pliers and worked really hard to get the medicine cabinet down for me. She even got replacement screws. Super accommodating and they both showed excellent customer service.
Men Have A Monopoly There Is No Alternative
I did a full run of the garden center and came to check out to find they don t accept Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo etc. you must have a physical card or cash. That is extremely frustrating for a New Yorker paying for Ubers to come to their location and learning upon checking out. In turn makes for terrible customer service and a horrible shopping experience.
