The crew that runs this shop are absolutely fantastic! My roommate got into a accident with our vehicle and the car was in super rough condition afterwards needing TONS of work. I had brought it to mavis originally ( DO NOT GO TO MAVIS IN MASTIC THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR!!) but they ended up installing the axil i needed incorrectly; inevitably breaking my car more. i was almost certain i’d have to start looking for a new car with him. BUT NOT ANYMORE THANKS TO SHIRLEY AUTO BODY! They fixed my car up better than I could have imagined; she still needs a small amount of work but these guys got my wheel to drive straight again, no bolts shaking or parts jiggling when I drive anymore. And they were extremely honest and fair about pricing; we are both living paycheck to paycheck and I know it would have been 10x more money to go somewhere else like mavis (They were extremely kind and tried to be flexible as possible with the price.). They also explained everything about what was wrong with the car to my roommate in good detail which I appreciate SO much! Not all mechanics are transparent enough. Thank you again Shirley Auto Body for saving my dear Bessy 🙏 We’ll be using these guys always from now on!
I have lived in Shirley for 30 years and if there was one place that I know that does great work and help you deal with issues that could come up with insurance companies. Anthony is very concerned and honest and pleasant to work with.
At the counter, I was greeted by Anthony, who was very friendly. As I had scheduled an appointment for today, I am pleased to say that he was able to see me right away! My breaks and oil were changed within a 90 minute period of time, so I was very impressed. I was impressed with George and Anthony's knowledge, and their helpfulness. All I can say great service, fantastic repair and easy to work with. I would highly recommend Shirley Auto Body. I worked with Anthony and he was great - nothing was a big deal. Hoping I don’t need them again, but would use them again if needed. The car is better than new.

Went in to have my roll bars installed, what was supposed to be a quick mount turned into a yeah just drill holes through your truck bed and it’s mounted. Lol. Like no I’m not doing this myself. Know your limits they say. So I did and turned to Shirley Auto Body. They were excellent. Made an appointment, Dropped my truck off at 8 picked up at 11:00 complete. This was stress free for me and the price was really good. They aren’t trying to eat filet mignon off everyone who walks through the door. Respectable. I wish them well and will be using them when the time comes for more work. They aligned the roll bars perfectly with the curvature of my truck bed. And it looks amazing. I’m a very happy customer. I say if you need work done? Don’t hesitate. The staff is friendly and the building is immaculate. You can tell they care about what they do. Professional is an understatement

Local and always helpful
Went there to get estimate the guy thats was in charge. Told me that it would be $50 that was insane. It takes you 5 minutes just to write out an estimate . I will never go there again.
Poor experience
Everyone I met at the shop was very professional and polite, something I appreciate because Ive been to enough shops where Im made to feel unwanted or stupid because Im a woman. That was not the case at Shirley Auto body. I walked in on a Monday morning because my car had been towed there Sunday after something broke in the engine. The shop was already busy but I was welcomed and my car looked at when they had a chance. Tony reached out to me, confirming what I already knew since my car was pretty much at the end of its life. My engine was damaged. Tony was polite and understanding in answering my questions about towing the car back to my house and what I owed. My car was brought back to me a dar earlier than I expected and put back in my driveway like I requested. So I will definitely be back when I have any other vehicle problems... Just hoping not too soon, lol.

My civic bumper was damaged and Shirley auto body was able me my car back within two days and they used oem honda dealer parts, the price was very reasonable, the guys at the counter were very helpful and polite .. i would reccomend them for any body shop work you would need And thank you to the technicians, Michael and Timmy the car looks great

Everyone we came into contact with was super friendly and helpful, they were so fast to repair my car and weren t like many other shops I ve been to where they ll add 8,000 other repairs you don t need. Definitely going to be our regular shop and very glad they were recommended to us.

They are very friendly, and forwards about their business. They are good at what they do and I come in for Oil Changes every time I need one. As a Realtor its good to be able to get in whenever I need. HOWEVER, they do such good work they are always booked! Come to get an appointment ASAP.

I would like to leave an outstanding rating for Shirley Auto Body for the work they did on my vehicle. The owner, Anthony Posanti, made every step as simple as possible for the customer. He handled the calls with the insurance company when they did not offer enough money to fix the car properly. My car was fixed to look brand new. There was no body shop smell from my car which happened in an auto body shop I had used previously. I highly recommend Shirley Auto Body and am very happy I used them to fix my car. Great place very nice people and job well done
Owner was very understanding of my frustration of getting parts from Tesla, which is notoriously bad at getting out parts on time he was very apologetic though no fault of his own recommend highly.

My car had damage after an accident. I choose to send my vehicle repaired here rather then the recommended insurance shop. I am so glad I did. My car looked like new! Cant even tell there was ever a collision. But better then all that. It was done when they said it would be and Anthony was very kind and professional during the whole process.

My cousin lives near the business and has his vehicles inspected and serviced there. a month ago he had a wreck; the damaged motorcycle was taken a short distance to there. My cousin is incapacitated still, he sent me as his agent to check out the damage, and also to recover the phone mount that actually belonged to me that was still with the bike. Anthony (the owner?) first had me sit, then told me he was doing me a big favor by allowing me to see the wreck ! My cousin had already called him to expect me. I told him I would post online about his hospitable nature; he told me to get out of the building.
They do a great job. During a major damage to your vehicle, you get it back looking brand new. Anthony cares about his clients. To me Shirley Auto Body is the best...Congratulations and thank you for a GREAT job...

I know that they have been serving the Mastic area for a very long time. And they probably do great work, but my gripe is their unprofessionalism. 2 times I have taken 2 separate vehicles to ask for an estimate and both times the first thing out of his mouth was replace this and replace that. Immediately followed by Its not worth it. As a person that works in maintenance shop (non-automotive) I know its always easier to say, buy the part and replace. Thats the lazy way, but somtimes its the only way. That is not my main gripe with these guys. They need to have a little respect for a potential customer. Who are they to say to someone if something is worth fixing or not. Saying that to someones pride and joy is just rude. If I want to pay $4000 on a repair of a $8000 car, that is MY prerogative. Needless to say the vehicle could have very a sentimental value to that person. After taking it to several other local bodyshops (which there are many) they all gave me a quote. Some high, some low, but NONE, AND I MEAN NONE, ever told me it wasnt worth it! So, needless to say I would never take a vehicle to them to assess because obviously they are SO big of a franchise that Motortrend network is sending a film crew to use Shirley Autobody as their new show. Right there along side Fantomworks, Texas metal, Iron resurrection, and Bitchin Rides. Sorry for the sarcasm, but its deserving. Would have loved to have used a shop 1/4 mile from my front door, but I guess not. Croces Body Shop is down the road anyway. #itsnotworthit

Anthony was really nice. He saw what I needed and took care of it in a timely manner. He had a rental car set up for when I dropped my car off. Replaced my bumper and painted it. It was there for two days. The job came out excellent.

I had been looking for a new local auto mechanic and shop. It was suggested to me to try Shirley Auto Body. Starting with an oil change, I was in and out quickly, and they even corrected the tire pressure issue and reset the check light, no charge. Very friendly staff. Ive taken my car here twice and so far they have failed to deliver. I paid more than I would pay at my normal mechanic for an oil change and they didnt even do full service. Didnt check my tire pressure nor did they replenish my fluids like my regular mechanic would. My regular mechanic even greases my door hinges as regular maintenance included with the price of the oil change. After reading positive reviews of the place I expected more. Id never return, completely underwhelmed

They went ABOVE and beyond to fix my Honda, and made the process really easy, especially around my busy schedule. They were 100% honest with what I needed and didn t need. I would recommend them to everyone.

They repaired my truck after an accident quicker than expected. Staff was skilled and professional. They also did body work on my daughters car and final bill was less than quoted. I came back for an oil change and inspection, which were completed in @ 30 minutes, so I was able to wait. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. Final bill was much less than expected...much cheaper than Jiffy Lube. The owners are great people who care about their customers and the community. I highly recommend!

Every visit I made to Shirley Auto Body over the years to get my three cars serviced were performed in a professional and timely manner. Just to let you know the 1997 Toyota Corolla has 247,000 miles and the 1998 Toyota Camry has 287,000 miles and still running well, thanks to Shirley Auto Bodys mechanics.
