Greg and his staff are always accurate with diagnosing my vehicles. I have been bringing my car to Greg for decades. Very honest, reasonable, and kind. Highly recommend Rock’s!

Their owner Greg R. hit my car and ran off while driving today. He pulled into my lane without looking and drove off to evade responsibility. He only pulled over once I told him I called the cops and he stated “go ahead and call, I don’t care I won’t be charged”. The vehicle is owned by Rocks Precision Automotive and he was wearing his work attire. He is completely unprofessional (as stated by other reviews). If this is how the owner behaves, you should avoid this company at all costs.

Greg's always amazing, always gets things done right the first time never have a problem with any of his work He's worked on my family's cars for years and I will always keep bringing my car back to him. Brings you out to the shop Florida to show you exactly what's wrong with your car when you're waiting for it so you know exactly what's being done it's always a pleasure to have him work on my car.

I don’t even want to leave one star!! This guy is just awful. Offended when he spoke down to me, I soon realized he wasn’t signaling me out, he was condescending to everyone! He pointed out something really wrong with another car, then proceeded to accuse my mechanic, who moved South, of selling a car with rusted out frame. I’ve known my mechanic’s Dad for years. Any way, this bloke is bad news. Very bad news. I suppose he didn’t hear me when I told him I’ve driven Saabs since ‘74. He was pissed that I got 2 second opinions from actual Saab mechanics. If tearing down other people is how you build your reputation, you’re already losing at Life. Don’t waste your time and money with this guy. It’s not worth it. There’s nothing worse than an ignorant man who pretends to smart.

Kept my car for over a week when promised one day, and double charged me over what was originally quoted. Terrible communication. & nice attempt at trying to chalk it up Greg, but we brought the car to you stating specifically what was wrong with it, which was the CIM module, and even provided the part. You tried the spare CIM module with tags and claimed it was fried, okay we were fine with you ordering it, - but then you turned around and kept the meter running for 12 + hours of “diagnosing” when we made it cut and dry to you what was wrong with the car...

First off the guy knows Saab cars inside out. The prices are what they are, these things can be a bit of a bear to work on. I know this having done more than my share of work on the car in the past. The owner, Greg, has always stood behind the work he or one of his technicians have carried out. If there has been a problem then he simply fixes it. If it was other than related to the original then you pay for the work and he tries to work with you on the price to lessen the pain. No one is perfect, especially where you get into complex mechanical and electrical issues on cars like these. Our car is over 13 years old and has had a couple of major issues, like motor being pulled and repaired and total front end accident. Both times it wasn't cheap but it was fixed well. You pay for knowledge and the specialized tools to carry out the repairs. At the end of the day Rocks has both. They have always been honest and fair with us. Counter to other reviews we have never once seen even a hint of threat or other from anyone there, EVER! We have been using Rocks for over 6 years now for both our Saab and our Honda.

I thought that Rock's Auto was the place to go and that I finally found my new "honest" mechanic. We brought a car there that had some electrical problems. The original quote was for between 300 and 500 dollars. The final bill was 1500 dollars, 990 dollars of it was labor. Okay, so there were more problems than anticipated. I understood that. The owner found that there was a leak near the windshield area and another leak issue under the hood that contributed to a lot of the problems and we were assured that the problem was taken care of. Less than 3 weeks later, the car started displaying some of the same problems that it went in there for. We took the car back there assuming that he would take care of the problems since they were some of the original problems that the car went in for. He called the next day and said that the car was all set to be picked up. My sons went to pick it up and he presented them with a bill for another nearly 400 dollars. Needless to say, my sons were surprised and displeased. They got into a bit of an argument about his "thievery". The owner threatened them with the bill now being 700 dollars before they can take possession of the car. He also asked my sons if they wanted to be "taken care of" by his buddies in the shop. That really made me mad when I heard that but my husband said just to let it go, pay the crook and get the car back. The owner, when confronted by my husband about the comment and the additional charge, decided to bring the price of the additional part down and take an hour of labor off of the bill. Let me mention that the part was only 19 dollars and the rest was all labor. The same stuff that was already disassembled during the first trip had to be disassembled again and he charged labor for it.... again. If he had been thorough the first time, there wouldn't have been a second visit. To sum it up, my opinion of him has changed from "honest mechanic" to "bully, thug and thief". We will not use his services again. I probably wouldn't have even written this bad review if he hadn't threatened my sons.

Rocks Rocks. I own a classic 1993 Saab 900S. I was having issues with the suspension that another local Saab mechanic could not fix. Gregg and his guys fixed it the first try and now it runs great. I highly recommend this shop.

We could not be more impressed with Rocks Precision Automotive. Our car broke down on the Thruway, and we found this place with a Smartphone - scary, right? The experience could not have been better. Once the owner understood our situation he called the towtruck and rental car company FOR us (at closing time a local company was more likely to listen to someone they knew), and gave us a ride to pick up the rental after the tow truck got us to his shop (3 hours after closing). They performed a major repair at a very fair price and the work is impeccable. It is wonderful and amazing, in the times we live in, to find someone you can trust to do quality work and who cares about people. If they treat strangers this way, I can only imagine how they treat their regular customers. Kudos and may your business expand!
