I went to look at cars not thinking I was going to be able to actually get the one I really wanted. Ron was absolutely AMAZING with going through different cars that would fit the budget I was looking for. It was such a great experience because Ron made me feel like I was talking more with a friend than someone trying to sell me a car. I felt welcomed the moment I walked in. They were able to get me the car I wanted AND the payments I was able to afford. I would HIGHLY recommend going to see Ron if you are looking for a new vehicle, you definitely will not be disappointed! It was the best car shopping experience I ve ever had!

Terrible cars they sale weather damaged cars with bad engine problems please don t waste your money here just save and go to a legit car company I m glad I found a way out from dealing with them any further

Great people. When your car breaks down, they dont pick up the phone, you text in you call them ugh. No answer cars under warranty, but now it looks like youll have to use your own money to pay for it all to fix it. Thats a kid, pick up the phone or get back to you weve been calling texing, I never got an answer back. Great people Theyll get you approved, but they dont cover your warranty because you can never get a hold of them

Ive never been to car dealership that isnt only interested in selling you a car but fitting you into something you both like and can afford. Kiera was wonderful in all aspects. I recommend everyone to go here !!

We went to Marc s VW for ten years to have our care serviced and had a great relationship with Marc and some of the other people who worked there. When he sold the business to The Car Shoppe, the service gradually declined, with my last visit being an absolute disaster. One mistake after another, including a major one when I drove our car by The Car Shoppe at night and saw our other car parked outside with the drivers side window completely rolled down (anyone driving down route 9 could see the window rolled down!). I stopped to see what was going on, and the car was unlocked with the keys inside. It could have rained and gotten my car completely wet and/or someone could have stolen my car! I locked up my car and called the next morning. They were not really apologetic about the situation or about the three other significant mistakes they made with that service call. While the manager listened, he was primarily defensive and deflecting responsibility. I told him I was not happy about how he handled this situation. The place was SO chaotic and unmanageable, not in any way like it used to be. I recently found out they have not been taking outside service appointments for the past two months and are focusing on the fixing and repairing their used cars for sale. Perhaps they will manage things better, but I wouldn t count on it. Very disappointing all the way around. We miss Marc!

I live on the street behind. I really appreciate how everyone thay comes and goes from this place drives like a complete asshole in a 35mph zone. Also kudos to the individual that consistently parks in the middle of goldfoot rd about 10 ft from the stop sign for rt 9. I think i saw them get a parking ticket once? What a truly outstanding business you have here, a great contribution to the community. I fully understand why i hear so many negative things about the car shoppe and wonder how many cars getting abused are owned by customers.

Bought car from them in June 2023 sticker price was 20-21k now it s 26k so was false advertisement and have proof but whatever already stuck in deal now. Not even two years later car hasn t even been driven 10k miles yet and subframe is broken and car has electrical issues mind you haven t been in any accidents or anything they said nothing they can do HIGHLY don t recommend even if your in the worse struggle you ve ever been in!!

I ve had nothing but excellent service from these guys. They did the waterpump/thermostat as well as a carbon clean on the intake valves for my MK6 GTI Back in October and then got me in per my request before the end of the year for a full timing chain service and replacing my intake manifold. These guys went above and beyond for me and my ride. The work is solid, the crew is knowledgeable and experienced and turn around time is on point. I wouldn t take my VW anywhere else.

After totaling my car and feeling completely defeated from trying to figure out how to get a new car for a month with my credit and not having a huge down payment, I saw a post on Facebook about here and drove there not even knowing why. I had someone evaluate it and they said the transmission is bad, there s a misfire, it sounds like a belt needs to be replaced, the axle and rods, the electrical- not just the screen or headlights working when they want - the screens completely broken but now the car charger plugs don t work right either. The fan is not working right - I can go on and on. I work a lot, I live in the Catskill mountains in the middle of nowhere, I have kids, and not having a car is just not an option for us. We came to you guys bc we read nothing but amazing things about your company. I ve been trying to get my car fixed since we got it - the mechanic- the old one just doesn t take me seriously and I m getting really frustrated with it. I need a rental or something bc this isn t a small job. I would like to trade it in for a car that we actually pick out - we weren t even given an opportunity to pick out what we wanted! Never ever have I heard of that. But from this day on I will be calling, texting and emailing you guys bc I cannot wait any longer. My Jeep Wrangler is back in the shop after never being able to pass Massachusetts inspection since I purchased this vehicle from the Car Shoppe. This is interesting because the Car Shoppe had a brand new inspection sticker on the Jeep. I brought it to Mass, and they told me I needed to get 3,500 worth of repairs to pass. When I got angry and complained on FB, I was blocked and then I told the salesperson that I was going to sue because I got sold a lemon. His exact words were Good luck because you purchased the vehicle with over 100k on it laughed at me, cursed at me, then hung up the phone. The issues I m having with my Wrangler are the same exact issues I ve had since I pulled it off the lot. Looking for some remedy here. The service was excellent until I had an issue the same day of having the vehicle. Now I have to maintain a car payment of 700+ per month, AND figure out how to get everything fixed to pass inspection. My vehicle isn t even drivable smh This is just overwhelming!

Ron was great in getting us in a vehicle,but now that sale is over they ghost you when you constantly contact them to send copies of contract,since you get no paperwork when leaving after purchase.

It s truly been an inconvenience for me a my family. A few years ago I purchased a 2013 Dodge Ram and we have had nothing but issues. Last year the motor blew (your shop had it for 6 months and when we got it back the check engine light was STILL ON)and we have had nothing but mis fires , dash lights to the point now where it will not pass inspection. Today the motor blew again !!! This truck has caused nothing but stress and issues in our lives! When we call your shop they say it s a first come first serve basis and they do not take appointments . And that nothing is covered which is ridiculous seeing how this has been going on for 3 years now . People in the shop are very kind when we are there but not taking responsibility for the defect in this truck that should have been fully functional especially because I m still making payments on it . Now I m still forced to pay for a truck that doesn t and can t move. We brought the truck in on numerous occasions with issues due to the motor and nothing was ever properly fixed.

Kim was absolutely amazing at helping me not only get a car after my previous one had been deemed a total loss by my insurance, but the one I wanted! No other place was able to get me financing and after a month of trying I was running out of time. I use my car for work and needed something reliable and with AWD and the process with Kim was super easy and quick. Horrible purchase!!!! LEMON LEMON LEMON!!!! Not even a year into this vehicle I bought, and I have put more money into it repairing it then I have in payments. Suspension was completely shot. Was told the alignment and tires and all were great, just left the shop before I picked it up and boom 6 months later I need new tires due to the alignment being so bad. Shocks, struts, wheel bearings, stabilizing links, tires, alignment. All things that were said were great. Now I drive and usually no one in the passenger side so of course didnt see any water coming into the vehicle. Oh yeah the roof leaks like crazy on the passenger side. There is mold growing in my vehicle. Lets add another few thousand to this LEMON that was sold to me. Now I know they wont do a thing to rectify or even do the right thing and give me a vehicle worth the money I paid them to fix this issue but I will stop anyone I can from buying here until they fix this issue. I have already succeeded in stopping a few. Now I am not one to just go full crazy on reviews but this is just a horrible sell by them to someone who was in need. You should feel ashamed of yourselves. I am now stuck with a vehicle that I am going to continue to have to put money into to fix it. I am at over $2500 in repairs and not even a year into it.

With a great reputation, and some great people (Keira, Christian & Kim) they help people in a rough spot (bad credit) get into a vehicle, without making life difficult. Which, when you need to get to work and something happens to your car is a life saver. Service team was really professional and helped answer all my questions. Ive had my fair share of clunkers, and when you are in a tough situation its a breath of fresh air to get some honest help.

Update: When I walked in to purchase a car, I was in a spot where I needed a car because my current one was bad. My credit is not the best, I am a single income household and they helped me. I needed the stress of not worrying about my car off my chest. But it hasnt been that with the car I was sold. I purchased a 2016 GMC Terrain in May 2023. This car drives very nice but little by little major things keep going wrong. Within weeks of purchase, there was a very loud knocking noise in the rear of the car, I brought it in, they werent sure what the noise was coming from but replaced the rear differential. A couple weeks after, the noise came back. Next, it needed to come in for a noise in the front, I was told it was the wheel bearing and that was replaced. When I dropped it off I asked that they do an oil change as well, which I was told I did not need one without looking at the vehicle because they said it was just done when I purchased the car and should be good for 6 thousand miles. When I picked up the car, I could hear in the ticking of the motor that it needed oil, so I added it myself and took it elsewhere to get an oil change. This car also does not alert you when you are low on oil..at all! When I asked for the receipt for the work that was done for the wheel bearing, I was told I didnt need it because they had it in the computer. Anyone knows that you should keep record of the work that is done on your vehicle. A couple months later, my check engine light came on. I brought it in so they could tell me what it was coding for. They hooked it up to the diagnostic reader and told me it was probably the catalytic, without actually looking at the car and it would be okay for a bit, I would just need to get it fixed before I needed an inspection again because that was an expense repair and was not covered under the warranty. As it turns out, Im not sure it was actually the catalytic because my car started leaking oil and there was moisture getting in because under the oil cap was white and frothy. So back to the shop it goes. I am waiting to find out how bad it is. I will say that I am grateful for the warranty, because without it, these repairs would be too much for me to afford. What I am disappointed with is the added stress this causes someone who needs to rely on a vehicle for getting to work and the many other things I need to transport my kids to. I am very disappointed in the service of brushing things off that I have received from one of the men at the service garage. Because it was the same person that told me I didnt need an oil change, and didnt need my receipt, and that it was catalytic and that I would be okay for a bit. Kiera and Christian where able to help get me into a new to me car, when everyone else told me no. Such a great experience, and so thankful!

They are very grimy they tryed to sell me a 2017 Nissan with 53000 miles for top dollar of a ridiculous $20.000 Plus. Come to find out the car had been in a major accident and had $7000 worth of repairs. Do your homework with these ridiculous ads and always do your homework. I would not recommend these Shystie people to my worst enemy. Ps the sales person was Kim from the Mechanicsville shop.

Purchased a 2017 Kia Sorento in August that now sits in the driveway with a bad transmission. Thanks for the clunker Car Shoppe! Love to get people in the ride of there dreams and all but last I checked that would be reliable and in working order. Thousands of dollars on garbage that dont even move! We brought the car back with the issue on more than one occasion and was told it wasnt the transmission it was a motor mount so we had that replaced and it continued to have the same issue. I assure you that it had the issue when it left the lot back in August. Why not fix the issue.

This place is absolutely terrible I bought a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek I had to replace both front cv shafts a caliper because it hung up pads and rotors after that the car broke down had to replace a crank position sensor an idler pulley serpentine belt a new battery and this past week the car wouldn t start when I went to leave work and it s currently still broke down so this is the second time it s left me stranded and the a/c compressor is making an awful noise and needs to be replaced. I made multiple calls and when I spoke with anyone they said they d call back and see what they can do and I had no call backs or help with any of my issues with this car. I m stuck with a big car payment on a car I can t even drive I have all sorts of money wrapped up into this car between parts and payments it s not even funny.
