The store manager has to go!! She chases out customers and make all her employees uncomfortable to the point they apologize for her. If you care about your store and company, get rid of this lady. Not even Walmart would hire her
I'm 57 years old my wife is 48 the front end supervisor wanted my wife's ID to by beer yesterday we've been going to that store for years she knows who we are it's an abuse of her power I'm a retired ups driver every truck has a liquor license on board I caught a 17 teen year old trying to sign for there parents
Might want to talk to the young kid with blonde hair working the front end at night time. Just walking around with AirPods in his ear. Ignoring the cashiers asking for help. Customers trying to get his attention. He just walking circles. This store at night time is something you see from a comedy movie.
2 cashiers 1 was for 15 iui items or less. Decided to ring myself out at $150 worth of overpriced groceries. The store gouges so badly on prices because they're the only Market in town. I must say though they do have the best employees as far as cashiers go. Just wish they would have more on hand.
Absolutely loved your roast special, brilliant to put all the free items together on end cap next to the roasts. The lady in produce was so helpful to show not only me but several.
I’ve shopped at this store for about 5 years now, and try to avoid it at most costs. But as it is a half hour closer than other stores I do stop in. I worked at a market for 9 years, as a young teen to a young adult. I smell the deli a mile away, it has a rotten odor or someone isn’t using clean mop water/leaving out the bucket or product. A ton of times I see smelly grease/liquid in the middle of the floor outside of the deli with a wet floor sign… I understand being busy but it should really be cleaned each time this happens on the spot, not a sign thrown on it. the ladies in the deli are super slow. One will be pre packing/working on something else but won’t hop in to help when there’s a huge line… The produce is usually, never fresh. This is a huge miss as most opt for a market for fresh options. You can get anything else at the dollar store next to it.. this is a huge issue that needs correction. A lot of products can’t be found in this PC, such as Turkey bacon, Turkey burgers, ground Turkey, Turkey dogs, pet food/products etc. Staff from young, mid age, to older aren’t friendly or helpful. One younger guy has been nice during all these years. For all these reasons I avoid the store. Management- times are hard but please do something to pep your employees up to give them some life in their faces- pizza Fridays, raises, a monthly gift card raffle, be kind to them, be kind, something! Come to think of it, I’ve never seen a manager at this store… managers, it’s not above you to hop on a register or pop into the deli or even mop the floor. I hope this store gets a face lift and turns into a Market 32. I doubt it as they probably make enough of profit as there’s no other supermarket around.
Was looking for boboli pizza crust couldn't find them ( they were out of which why I couldn't find them ) ask a stocker where they were he stopped and helped me then we realized they were out he said we have other products which I grabbed pizza dough instead , he was very helpful then I saw another stocker helping someone else out , loved all the helping out thank you

If your in a hurry its not so bad but, if you get the older blonde watch out for her attitude.

Small store, often run out of sale items quickly. Some people here seem to have bad feelings towards instacart shoppers. Otherwise most people working here are wonderful.

I was at the Mechanicville price chopper before 9 and the bottle and can return center was closed. There is no sign in the bottle and can return area or on your website that posts the hours for this center. I tried to talk to the clerk working at the self service area but she gave me a snotty attitude and told me it closed at 9 and when I looked at my watch it was 9? Please post these hours in the area and on your website and then insure your employees keep these hours- it s very disappointing to run errands with the price of gas and find out one simple errand can not be accomplished. Very disappointing service

Really need this place to become 24/7 again. Being a 3rd shifter, it is terrible not having stores open between 11pm-7am on days off. It would be a great opportunity to get things done like food shopping, etc.

I normally don t have any issues at the store and everybody s friendly. However, today employee was a little bit rude who wasn t even working at the time. Story: I am an Instacart shopper, I am very new to it, less than 20 orders. Every time I go to a store for the first time even if the same store just different location I always ask where would you like me to check out for Instacart ? That way I don t do it wrong; okay so at this store I ve done about 6 past orders, using self checkout because that s what I was told to use when I asked the first time I did an order here. Tonight I had three order batch, the employees running the self check out, were very friendly, and gave me no issue whatsoever. HOWEVER; I was almost done checking out when somebody who looks like a customer to me that was just sitting near the self check out visiting asked me if I was doing instacart; I said yes and she says you aren t supposed to use the self checkout I explained that last weekend when I did orders there the employees told me I could. Anyway, seriously she wasn t even working, so why does she even care? Especially considering the people who are covering the self check out have no problem with it and they knew that I was doing Instacart. One thing I do know for sure is if you are not even on the clock when you work for price chopper you have zero authority. Do you have no right to say anything to me.

Price Chopper in Mechanicville is definitely over priced. A box of cereal is literally almost $2.00 more than any other store a bag of potato chips are over $6.00 a bag. They only have few check out lanes where there s actually a person checking you out instead of checking yourself out and there s no paper bags at self checkout you have to actually find a cashier to get paper bags to be able to bag up your groceries. This was not a good experience for me.

The cashiers are hot...but price chopper price gouge and dates thier meats to use the day after you buy it....price chopper sucks and only buy there if I have to...go to Wal-Mart or Hannaford they are way cheaper and the meat is way better
Never even been in but know people who have worked here the management is an absolute joke. Treats their employees with absolutely no respect. And minors who work there as their first job get yelled at and accused of doing things they arent doing. Personally someone from higher up needs to be keeping track of whats going on. When Ive heard stories of minors coming home early and crying because they cant stand being treated the way they are, its honestly sickening, this place has never had my business and never will.
This large Price Chopper is clean with alot of friendly faces. The employees have been helpful each time I stop in. They have a large selection of products to choose from. The isles are large, clutter free, and organized. The lines move quick and the prices are fair when comparison shopping. Plenty of parking and located along bus line.

The employees are nice but they are sold out of italian ice every other price chopper has italian ice, but not this one. The customer service is very nice and people care about each other here. They have no popcorn chips and they have barely any blueberries. If you love italian ice go to price chopper in Latham. I would give 25/36 or 3.77777777778 google stars

Needs to be upgraded to market 32 and have everything in stock that the other stores have. Half the time I have to drive to the clifton park market 32 because this store doesnt carry it.
Price choppers is great I love coming there when I come to town I always pick up a few lobster tails and some stuffing for the mushrooms five stars by me.

CLEANNN. WELL STOCKED AISLES. PRODUCE, DELI, MEATS ALL KEPT FRESH AND REDUCED IF SELL BY DATE IS EMINENT. FISH DEPT. WILL STEAM LOBSTERS FOR US. BAKERY HAS DELECTABLE LITTLE DELIGHTS AND WILL DO CUSTOM ORDERS. REFRIGERATED AND FREEZER AISLES HAVE CLEAN FRESH INTERIORS. FAST TAKEHOME AREAS HAVE NEVER DISAPPOINTED. IF YOU CAN, TRY TO SHOP EARLIER OR LATER THAN THE USUAL HIGH TRAFFIC TIMES. DEFINITELY CANNOT MOVE QUICKLY WITH A CART DUE TO UNLICENSED CART PUSHERS.

I dont hate price chopper I just keep having bad experience usually at the bakery this time I bought a pack of store baked rolls and they had a bunch of wax paper baked into the bottom of them, pretty sure they knew because some of it had been torn off Im posting photos

Ive never in the years that Ive been a customer at Price Chopper not found at least one brick of cheese in the dairy section that was clearly not sealed. Often there will even be someone in the aisle stocking the section and when I show them how the package has air in it they dont ever seem to understand the difference between that and all the packages that are still vacuum sealed. I will never shop at Price Chopper again.

I only shop at this store if I have to. Most of the time you can find expired products on the shelves. Many times it s impossible to get what you need because they have limited selection on many products. The staff doesn t follow their own rules for covid protection half the time.

I never find everything I need, especially sale items. I only go to this store when I only need a few things quickly. Now with COVID-19 they have a sign saying to be patient and wait for cashier to clean belt. I think probably the last 5 times I have been only 1 cashier has cleaned the belt. Today the cashier seemed insulted that I was waiting and asked me if I wanted to put my items on the belt. I said I was waiting because of the sign saying to wait. She responded do you want me to clean the belt . She acted like I was asking her to do something extra. Why put the sign if they are not going to clean it anyway? Other price choppers I go to clean the belt without an issue.

Its nice not a getting lost in hugh supper market and yet have a big store feel.
Its price chopper.... Its a supercenter. So... All products are good. I always shop there.. unfortunately the supervisor Jacqueline is very unprofessional. And is usually outside smoking a cigarette when you need her so the employees can get the help they need.. Other than that there is no difference from one to the other besides the employees..
I stop by this Price Chopper any time I need some quick groceries going to or from work, usually interacting with the morning staff. Ive never had an issue there and its quite neat!

Home town grocery store
I always try to avoid this place at all cost but I had no option. I live.....maybe 5 mins away and had to stop in for some basic groceries to make my lunches for work. Anything that I found that I needed was wildly over priced and came in smaller portions. Needed milk but I wasnt paying 4 bucks for a half gallon. The store was out right nasty. The self checkout is the only way to pay for your stuff and that isnt working half the time.
