Called to ask a question about picking up a vehicle and the person on the other end of the phone would not let me speak and told me i had to figure out another number to call and he did not have it. He hung up on me before i barely told him my name. 940am Wed. Sept. 6th 2023. I have never been spoken to like this and i have worked in the transport business for 10 years. We are a transporter coming to pickup a vehicle sold to a dealer and this is the address given to us.

Today I called Kinetic Towing because my car would not shift after dropping my son off for daycare. I was blocking traffic, and had already tried to fix the problem but was unable to do so and needed to get out of the way and to work. They sent a tow truck immediately, but the person on the phone listened to the problem I was having and sent me a video that helped me fix it myself. This allowed me to get to work, and not actually need a tow truck.

I needed a tow yesterday morning and the driver was so kind and helpful. I was very upset and he turned my whole mood around. A very good experience. Even said he was new to the company, I was very impressed. Highly recommend.

Best towing company ever!

Friendly and accommodating! We needed to reclaim some belongings from our vehicle and arrived just as the workers were pulling out and locking their gate for the day. They were so friendly and accommodating and, with a smile and a positive attitude, they reopened their gate and allowed us the time we needed to do what we had to do. Were very thankful for good people like these!

As a car hauler I deal with tow yards from time to time. This time it wasnt the normal tow yard attitude. It was nice for a change.

not friendly staff

Earlier today, my vehicle s steering wheel and brakes had locked up on me in mid transit as I were driving with my husband traveling back home nearly an hour away which had caused me to lose control of my vehicle and coast off to the side of a busy traffic road with barely no shoulder without being in or causing a fatal accident. Although I am covered under my vehicle s warranty as well as have full coverage on my vehicle which includes emergency road side assistance , I tried exploring both options of seeking reasonable and immediate emergency road side assistance being that my vehicle had completely disabled itself from functioning other than my hazard lights. As my husband and I waited patiently for nearly 5 hours for our emergency road side assistance tow through our insurance company that never assisted us as we waited to nightfall, in the pitch darkness and cold pouring rain on the side of the road, we ended up meeting a young man named, Nathaniel whom had stopped to assist us and highly referred this towing company in whom he s employed and whom spoke very highly of his employer, Jim after explaining our dilemma. Long story short, we called Jim and spoke to him and he was very pleasant in assisting us within 10 to 15 minutes. He sent a very pleasant young man as well by the name of Dale whom not only towed our vehicle but got my husband and I safely back home This company and its employees are a reflection of itself on Excellent Quality in Customer Service and especially during this pandemic and I would greatly utilize them again and highly recommend this company to anyone in need in the area that s in need of tow. My car was towed by Kinetics after an accident. I worked with Jim, who was very kind and knowledgeable. He offered excellent customer service which helped to make a bad situation less stressful.

Very Professional

dishonest business. charged me an outrageous price of $267 for towing my car. When I objected the price, the man said he told me the ballpark price before the service, which he never did. My friend, who was also at the site of the towing, also confirmed that he never gave me a ballpark price. The mans face became really red as he was caught in a lie but of course insisted that he did. Avoid this business and look for a company that doesnt lie.

Called up to have my dead car towed to a dealership. They showed up 15min after calling and actually got my car to start not requiring a tow and saving me money. Great experience from person on the phone and followed up with the same level of great service from the person they sent. Hopefully I dont have the need for their service, but if I do they will be the 1st place I would call.

Very unprofessional. Discriminating my nationality. Yelling like someone was cutting him. Only after I calmly told him that I don t need his attitude, and that he needs to act like a professional because he was the owner. If you guys need your car towed, this would not be your choice. This is the worst facility I had to deal with.

Had the pleasure of working with this towing company recently to bring my Mercedes from Mechancville to Cohoes. They were very friendly and professional from start to finish. I couldnt be at the address when the car was dropped off. When they arrived there they called me to verify it was in fact the correct place since the drop off location didnt look quite right, (I had the car dropped at my deceased brothers closed auto shop and lot which hasnt been occupied in a few years therefore it does have an abandoned look to it, however, we still own the property but I did completely understand their hesitation) Their concern for the safe drop off location of my vehicle was much appreciated. The best part is, the price to tow was hands down very very reasonable. I wouldnt hesitate for a second to use their services again.

Called 2 other tow companies and they couldnt do the job

The website says they service Brunswick, I was stuck off the side of the road and when I called they said they dont service Brunswick. The man on the phone said their in Mechanicville, and dont service Brunswick. I have family in Mechanicville and Im from Brunswick, it takes me 15 minutes to get to their house. If you didnt want to come out and help at 11:45 at night then just say that, I would understand it more then you telling me you dont service someone 15 minutes away. Thanks for the false advertising and miss leading website.

Was charged about $593 for an unnecessarily long tow of about 15 miles. The tow choice was not ours but the state police as we were busy going to urgent care to get my wife checked out medically. Charges included a towing charge, administrative fee, cleanup fee even through no cleanup was required. $375 charge for just the tow, not including mileage. Full on price gouging. This will be followed up on through the better business bureau. Whatever you do, dont use this tow service. Pictures of the bill to be added later.

My car slid off the road and into a snow bank against a telephone pole. Jim was driving by right as this happened and without hesitating he helped me and took care of everything!!! Very impressed and would highly recommend!

Im late to review but a couple of weeks ago I had some trouble and the owner Jim came to help me out. He was professional, personable, very helpful, and he represented his business very well.

My road side assistance sent them and they were prompt and professional. I had no issues.

Jim towed me from an extremely busy intersection at 5:45am on a Sunday morning. He got to me in less than 20 minutes after I called him. He was super friendly, super helpful, and I couldn t be more appreciative.

Jim was amazing. I called him at 5am on the Friday of a snow storm, stuck in a Ditch. He got to me within 20 minutes. I highly recommend this company as weve used them before and they are always good. But Jim made me want to write a review!!! Thanks Jim, from the Stewarts worker that also has to work, no matter the weather!!!

Sad that these are the people we have to depend on stuck on the road driver goes by at 15 mph and never stops and then says he can t help over the phone we We re left in cold with kids and no help while this tow tow truck driver from kinetic kept on going whatva sorry company do not us at this is there second time leaving us like this do your self a favor call someone else don t waste your time buddy that not my drive way sorry and second thing a little Jeep pulled me out and to safety you guys need real men to work not no boys u did not have the decency to see if we were ok but we re fine

Seems very shady!!! I didnt trust that when the insurance person asked for the name of the owner to put on our statement the man on the phone was very rude!! And wouldnt give the name!! He has a very bad attitude and i have a feeling that they are about to gouge us!! Ill keep you posted my car is still there and the insurance adjustor has yet to go there!

I proudly have to say kinetic towing saved my day as I broke an axle stranded in middle of USA parking lot, they came within 10 mins very professional on arrival unlike some tow companies Ive dealt with. I would highly recommend Kenetics towing thank you again guys prices very reasonable!!

Jim just totally did a great job and saved me hours of my time Im sure hes had it rough working thru this storm but he still did an amazing job and provided great customer service with a smile . If I need services again this is where I will call first!

That old guy that towed my car is a complete idiot. He doesnt know how to tow a car thats inoperable. Ended up bending my front tie. Save yourself time! Call any tow provider in schenectady

Used these guys 2 times very professional. They even recommended a repair shop nearby that would do the work on my vehicle when 2 other shops gave up. Would use again for sure.

They have the worst customer service. After they towed my vehicle they asked for my driver s license to make a photocopy. Next day I noticed they never returned my license. I called the next day and the female that answer the phone said that there is nothing she could do...I drove to their office (unannounced) and knocked on their door and there was one of their drivers watching TV. He first said that they did not have my driver s license, but after I insisted somehow he found it. I usually dont write any negative reviews, but this people just have the worst service.
