We had a flood in our basement. As it was happening I did not know who to call but my first call was KPM. Since it was a pluming issue they advised that it was not their scope of work to get the water stopped. BUT, the guy I was communicating with was very helpful to talk me through stopping the flowing water. It was very much appreciated and certainly was not something he had to do. We scheduled them to come in next morning/ they did offer to come right away but choose to have someone come the following morning and someone was there first thing advising on the options. A few hours later they had a team there setting up fans and dehumidifiers. Very impressive turn around time. Over the past days there have been several different crews and they have all been very friendly and respectful. Obviously, I hope no one ever needs to use them, but in the case of an emergency this company should be your first call.

Today I attended a presentation given by Mark @ KPM and all I have to say is wow. Great presentation, great company offering a wide array of services that at some point all of us will need. We had a disaster. In the winter a boiler safety valve spewed water and steam over our basement resulting in the growth of mold over the entire basement, stairway and damage to an upstairs bathroom and adjoining laundry room. We were 1500 mile away. Our first intro to KPM was a call from Kim who described what KPM would do including contact with our insurance carrier. We were clueless about the process and Kim simplified and explained over a number of phone calls what KPM would do. Jake and his team had to remove 53 years of basement accumulation and clean the mold. He was in constant contact with us by phone since we were unable to return home due to an unexpected health issue. They did a great job removing items and cleaning those that could be cleaned and reused. He also cataloged the destroyed items for reimbursement from our insurance company. Then Jay, encapsulated the entire basement, ceiling and walls ensuring that the mold would not return. Again, a difficult job done to perfection. Jeremy took over and provided schematics of the affected areas in the house and provided estimates for materials and labor for reconstruction. His work which was very detailed, accurate, and done in a timely fashion was critical for insurance purposes. We are now in the reconstruction phase and Tommy and Jim are not only skilled in all types of construction but are tireless hard workers who are putting our house and basement back in order. In addition to their hard work, they have given us suggestions on the choice of materials as they accomplish a complete reconstruction. We strongly recommend KPM. Experienced a recent hot water heater failure. It resulted in significant water damage in a finished basement. I contacted KPM Restoration and they responded promptly. We were very happy with our mold remediation work through KPM. They were highly responsive, accountable, and completed the job on-time (and on-budget). When we first started looking for mold remediation companies in the greater capital district area, we reached out to five different companies (including some who do significant advertising in the region). KPM was by far the most responsive - it felt like they really wanted to earn our business and they cared about the job. A few other companies didnt even bother to continue engaging during the contract discussions (they literally just stopped responding) - it really showed me that not all mold remediation companies are the same. KPM negotiated a fair price for the work and they got me on the schedule within 1 week of signing the contract. The Project Manager was communicative throughout the job and even made recommendations to improve the work during the week (e.g. switching from a white color to clear color in the attic areas that needed to be treated in order to ensure there was no visible run off in the ceiling below). They finished when they said they would and the work passed the independent mold clearance. Finally, they issued me a warranty for their work. I am glad I selected KPM and I would recommend them for any mold remediation needs.

Travis and Evan from KPM Saratoga are the best. A hot water heater above us leaked into the entryway of our condo. They were there the next day to test how much water was actually in the ceiling. The took down the ceiling and insulation and put in de humidifies and drying equipment. They needed to come back the next day to secure the plastic , which they did. They cleaned up beautifully and did a great job. They were knowledgeable and explained everything they were doing. I highly recommend them. They made a terrible situation much better and I couldn t be more grateful!

Due to a prolonged power outage, we had some flood damage from the sump pump not running. We called a few places and decided to go with KPM Restoration. We are so glad we did! They were there quickly which avoided any further damage. Each crew was so synchronized it was like a well oiled machine. The cleanup only took 3 days. They did an amazing job! KPM I believe was hired by Albany Management because of a fire in my apartment building late February 2021, there was substantial smoke and water damage, smoke damage to my apartment. I saw KPM workers at the building a few weeks after the fire working very hard, then everything seemed to slow down to a crawl, this being a traumatic situation for all who where effected by the fire where hoping for a quick return to our lives. Not the case with KPM, Ive been given every excuse to why after almost 2 months the building is still in terrible condition. Its outrageous my apartment and items are not clean, doors havent been replaced, sheet rock not done, my apartment had a brand new carpet installed before the rooms where painted, the new carpet like the entire building now sticks of smoke. I keep hearing 2 more weeks 2 more weeks, I want my dam apartment I rented back,, the apartment thats close to my elderly mom and job I need my personal property cleaned . I was told more then once they are actively working on the property to but failed to see anyone at my building on 4 separate occasions. No one from KPM Monday the 11th or Tuesday the 12th at the building, I asked a individual who works at that location if they had seen KPM at all, his reply was No. I feel like Ive been lied to. Worst experience of my life and I see no end in sight.

KPM was great to work with. Our basement where we operate our business flooded due to a broken pipe. I called KPM and they had someone there within a few hours. It was a Sunday and we had just had torrential rains a few days before so they were slammed with flooding basements and still had a team there to help us out.They pumped the water out and had everything ready for our contractor to come in less than a week. The guys were friendly and very pleasant to work with. They did a great job. I would highly recommend them.

KPM restored our kitchen after an appliance failure damaged our hardwood floors. The water damage was extensive and effected our cabinets as well. We had just spent a fortune remodeling our kitchen and were very anxious about our cabinets and counters. KPM worked quickly, efficiently and most importantly, carefully to restore our kitchen to as good as new. They were easy to communicate with and were very responsive. We highly recommend KPM.

Working with KPM was a life saver. We had a lot thrown at us in the span of about 5 days, with our entire family getting covid, our basement flooding, and a death in the family. Hello. When I bought my house, my inspector said I had mold in the basement. I contacted Jason at Bald Eagle Inspection, who did an assessment and referred me to KPM for the remediation. They came in with a professional team and completely remediated and sealed the basement. I called Jason to do a compliance inspection and it passed easily. We had a great experience with KPM. After getting ghosted by another mitigation company that our insurance sent out, KPM came right over, pulled out walks, and set up dehumidifiers in the affected areas and dried the space out thoroughly. The cause of the problem was wind damage that caused a roof leak. They were able to get everything dry with a minimal amount of disruption. The technicians were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and especially respectful of keeping a good social distance and staying masked up. Dont hesitate to hire KPM!

KPM and project manager Dan were an absolute pleasure to work with. I had septic back up throughout our house and what should have been a horrendous experience, ended up being seem less. I had an ice dam cause water damage through two floors of my home. KPM got the work started quickly and moved through a very complicated rebuild process with me. Dan was in constant contact with me and scheduled everything with me. Everyone always showed up on time. They made a pretty tough situation relatively easy. The contractors that did the work all went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with everything (shoutout to Jim). If you have damage that you want repaired well then these guys can do it.

My Moms sump pump failed flooding her basement. She lives Upstate NY and I live in Virginia Beach, VA. My wife flushed down a container of beef stew and it backed up in the septic system and overflowed through our basement shower downstairs. It was days before we realized that the sewage water was coming into our basement, as we don t go down there every day. It was a major flood in our basement that ruined many things, including the full basement carpet. I had a pipe burst last month, and after calling KPM, they were here within fifteen minutes. They immediately brought in their machines, and began the process of the water elimination. During the mitigation phase, they discovered mold downstairs, and removed it, and went above and beyond what they were required to do. People were here every day, and I would be informed the night before or the day of, as to the arrival time, and what theyd be doing on that particular day. I appreciated this consideration very much. Jamie, the owner, is great to work with, as well as Dan Murphy, who is the overseer of the whole job. Right now the restoration process is still ongoing; I want to especially commend Jason Lyng and Dave Martone, who were so helpful yesterday, in cleaning the downstairs, disinfecting the entire area, and moving back furniture from the garage, where it had all resided since this nightmare started. (I needed a mold inspection first). Dan then came out and gave me a reasonable estimate, explained everything to me and would work with me on the timing of job. I was referred to KPM by a friend when my apartment was flooded by a fire caused by the unit above mine. I had no idea what to do - really lucky I was put in touch with KPM. When I received a call from my daughter during the beginning of the pandemic that she overflowed the toilet bowl, I didnt know what to think. She said it wasnt bad but water was leaking downstairs. I immediately raced home from work to go see the damage. My first call on the way home was KPM Restoration. I briefly explained the situation to them and they were professional and courteous. They stated they would be right there. As I kept driving, I figured it would be a few hours before they arrived at my home. To my surprise, by the time I got home(which took 20 minutes) their was a KPM vehicle pulling into my driveway. The techs were friendly, courteous, safe(wore masks the whole time) and professional. The KPM team inspected the water damage thru using thorough testing equipment as well as carefully removing ceiling tiles so they wouldnt break them. Next they brought large dehumidifiers into my basement as well as fans. They began to set up everything. Within 15 minutes from their arrival, they were all ready to leave. They stated they would be back the next day at a certain time. The next day came and KPM was 5 minutes early to their scheduled time. The manager inspected the site with his equipment and determined there was no water damage to the existing home. As nerve wracking as this was, his honesty and professionalism put my mind at ease. I have a feeling other companies may have tried to tell me something different to make more money. I was so appreciative of their honesty, integrity, and how they handled this whole process for me from beginning to end. It truly made a bad situation sustainable as well as put my mind at ease. So would I recommend KPM for further work at my home? I would highly recommend KPM for all your home needs. Recently I came home to a leaking upstairs shower and subsequent ceiling damage on the main floor of my house. I had never dealt with something like this and was extremely nervous and stressed! His calm demeanor, clear communication and concise plan of action immediately calmed my nerves and let me know I was in good hands. All their workers are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, helpful and caring. They did a great job for me both times I had a water leak problem in my kitchen and bathroom. They were careful to protect my floors and set up their equipment so that the area was contained. They clearly knew what they were doing and how to make sure the damage was contained. They are also extremely responsive. When I needed them, they came right away. They were also careful to wear booties in the house. I cant say enough how grateful I am for their expertise.

I hired KPM after discovering my water heater had rusted out and there was mold in the surrounding walls from seeping water. After a prompt cleanup and mold mitigation, the drywall was replaced in the utility closet and adjacent bathroom. Dan arranged for the rebuilding of part of my bathroom and Jim did a great job on that. There was a time lag while my bathroom vanity cabinet had to be replaced; my only regret was that some of the parts which could have been kept were inadvertently discarded. But in the end, I had a dry and well-finished room and utility closet. Dan gave me a fair price. He also worked with my insurance company to help me with my claim. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend KPM!

KMP Restoration was hired to provide mold removal services and complete a partial rebuild of interior wall and ceiling. The crew was professional, conscientious, and thorough. From day one, when Rob, Eli, and John came, they were very timely and went straight to work. Jim and Tommy complete the rebuild, and did an expert job at taping, mudding, and sanding the drywall. I received compliments on Jims finishing of the drywall. All areas were covered in protective plastic to prevent damage and keep clean from dirt and debris. All my questions were answered, and the crew was very polite. I would recommend their service.

The men who came to respond to my emergency flood were incredibly prompt and professional. They were incredibly calming and reassuring. Very kind and thorough.

A week after we closed on our house a pipe burst and completely flooded our garage and stairwell. I called KPM on a Friday and the owner James came out Saturday morning to do an inspection. They worked with my insurance company to make sure everything would be covered and were very responsive to all of my questions. Once they got everything dry (no easy feat in the dead of winter), they were able to do all of the repairs and renovations within a few days. They were respectful, always showed up in time, and left everything clean and better than it looked before!

Having 10 inches of water in your basement on Saturday afternoon, after both sump pumps failed is really not a fun experience. James and his team made it much more manageable. From the first phone call, they were very transparent and helpful. Dan and his team were on time first thing Sunday morning (actually a few minutes early), professional, and very accommodating. James stayed tied in to make sure I was satisfied with the work, along the way. There were never any misses or communication issues. Price was more than fair for their services. KPM Restoration was excellent! My basement recently flooded during the later hours of the night. KPM was on site within 30 mins fully equipped and ready to work after hours. They handled everything from extracting the water, tearing out drywall and carpet, to also dealing with my insurance company. Not only did they take care of the mitigation of my house, they also completed the build back for me, It was nice to stay within the same company. The contractors and office staff were a pleasure to work with .. I would highly recommended them to anyone!

Kpm restoration did two mold jobs for us at our rental properties and were very responsive, direct and efficient throughout the whole process. I d recommend them to anyone!

Emergency clean up they performed turned out great! Had a water backup through the toilet in my finished basement late in the evening. KPM was easily reachable by phone and even helped us find a plumber to remedy the issue. Plumber and KPM came out to my house shortly after I made the calls and started the work right away. They were very thorough in the cleanup and disinfection. Tested drywall for any water absorption and removed only what was necessary. All contaminated material was removed and area was dehumidified after cleaning. They were professional and courteous throughout and worked well with the insurance adjuster as well.

The team from KPM was top notch in addressing our issue with water in the basement. We had both Dan and James as on site leaders in working with us to assess the problem and figure out the best solution. I never felt pressured and really appreciated the experience they brought to bear in eliminated the source of the water, drying out the basement and encapsulating and removing problem areas. We had a severe mold issue in our attic. Dan and James explained the issues and helped us through process. The damages were more severe then we thought and it turned into a full blown issue with water leaks in walls. They had to rip out our entire second floor basically. They did everything so smoothly and walked us through each step and also to the rebuild as well which was very professional done. I highly recommend them for any issues in future

Amazing service and extremely professional. I was out of town when a leak was discovered in my basement. Their team responded immediately and stayed at my house until 1AM to assure the damage did not spread. Both their plumber and restoration team did a great job. They worked directly with my insurance and even took pictures of the damage for me.
