I purchased a car for my daughter from Zach and was very happy with the experience and value. D showed me the car and was very knowledgeable and discussed all my concerns and after the sale we noticed that the back window wasn’t closing and I called Zach and he said no problem . I brought it in and he repaired it no charge. I thought that was great customer service.
Terrible experience with these guys. I bought a car from them that every time I turned around I needed to fix something else. Every time I called them about issues I got excuses and was told the owner was out. Every time and then when I would drop in after being told by his mom he wasn’t there even after he made an appointment with me, he would either be there or shortly show up. Not a good experience. Going elsewhere now. I’m getting texts now because I guess some examples are needed. From day one the car was missing a headrest and was told it would be taken care of. I went months with nothing and then I told the owner I went to VW dealer and it would cost over $500 to replace. Told that to the owner who said that’s not how we deal with it. We go to eBay. Those didn’t even match. Also I bought the vehicle with Michelin tires because with my daughter being in a wheelchair they wanted the safest tires on but when we picked up the car it had Cooper tire. Cheaper. Nice move. I used the navigator to go to Grafton Park and it gave me wrong directions and I got lost. Called VW to find out that it would cost $300 to fix. I started having a leak in my sunroof that ruined the interior and when they supposedly fixed it I had to pay some other garage $60 to fix the leak that already caused damage. They gave me broken headphones for the movie system that only worked when it wanted to and had to buy a new remote that’s just the tip of what I had to put in the car. Enough said? Oh and now I’m getting harassing texts.
Never had the desire to write a car dealership review the moment I got it home, but I think this is a unique case. I think Mary and Zach are a mother-and-son duo, and they're both very nice, decent people. Sadly, that's hard to find in the car dealing industry. After many experiences with super slimy jalopy hawkers, it's downright refreshing to meet people who are sincere, not pushy, and respectful. They have a small lot, but they happened to have the truck i needed. Their selection appears to be mostly in the $6-20k price range, and my truck was priced fair at $13.5k. It would seem their strategy is to find vehicles that may look a little dodgy on paper, but remain rock solid. Indeed, my truck has 3 previous owners and an accident on its record. But you know how that goes... it could have been a little fender bender from 2012 that has no bearing on the truck's mechanical condition today. The test drive is really what sold me. Despite the theoretical risks of a truck with a complex history, it literally drove perfectly. Nothing making weird noises. No suspension or brake parts apparently out of place. Appreciably decent cosmetic condition considering its age. I had to have it... so I took it! Clearly whomever is doing their repair work is doing it well. Even though I'm from CT, New York dealers are heavily regulated, and that meant passing New York state inspection. which resulted in re-doing the rear brakes and the e-brake cable. No extra cost - they just sent me on my way with new rear brakes... awesome. They also cleaned the vehicle inside and out real well prior to delivery. I even noticed they did a "headlight restoration" to make those 12 year old lenses shine a little brighter again. Nice touch, I appreciate the attention to details. Not to mention the 30-day warranty and an explanation of the lemon laws, just for your protection. All that little stuff left me with a good feeling as a consumer. I mean... I consciously know that I bought a 12 year old used truck, but for just a moment it felt like a brand new truck... That's good used car dealing. Thanks again Mary and Zach. God bless.
I had an amazing experience at Palmer autos. My son had purchased a vehicle from Zach a few years ago and when my car finally died I remembered the great experience my son had here. Let me just say they went above and beyond for me. Zach knew what I wanted and was looking for and delivered that and more. He not only helped me with financi g but got me behind the wheel of my newer car in just a few days. I will forever be a customer!!! Thank you so much to everyone at Palmer Autos. You are all amazing!!!!

We had a great experience and will recommend to family and friends. Zack was very personable and accommodating. It took us a little longer then expected but to make up for that he gave us a full tank of gas and bought us Pizza. We left happy with our purchase. Thank you Zack, it was truly a pleasure!
You will never find a car dealer as helpful as Zak palmer.. I have dealt with quite a few and he is the best by far. As for the cars they r used and it's a risk we all take when we purchase used. He will do everything he can to make sure you are a satisfied customer.
Zack and his mother Mary have always helped me get the vehicle I was interested in. They have always treated me with both respect and integrity. They will always get my business. Straight up.
Had a great experience with Palmer Auto Sales.
Zach is a fair and trustworthy man, got a great car at a fair price.
Amazing service
Bought a tahoe a year ago and still happy with my purchase. Everyone at the lot was nice and very helpful and knew what they where doing. And stood behind there products.
Outstanding place to do business. I have purchased multiple vehicles from them and have been pleased every time. Highly recommended.
Came close to buying a car here, but it didnt work out on my end. During the potential buying process the staff was helpful and friendly! Made me very comfortable with my potential long distance buying experiene.
Great business. Great prices. Great customer service. Highly recommend
Very clean and nice. I was just looking but seems like a nice place to buy a pre-owned car. Owner appears meticulous.
This crook took my trade in which was worth 3000 and sold me a veichle for 7491 dollars..afyer my 3000 trade in i gave him 4491 cash.. However I got the veichle he sold to me appraised and it was only worth 2500. He is a fast talker and very deceitful and does not take responsibility for anything and he acts as though he is doing a big favor for fixing the veichle before giving it to you...I had to put the veichle up on a lift and get a print out for him to fix it....The first words out his mothers mouth is we are a family business...she should say a family of crooks...oh the car he sold me was also in two accidents...one in Florida the other in conneticut After you give him cash he can careless about you...he is very unproffessional..The car he sold me was bought back twice to be fixed he has no customer service skills..He does not call you to keep you abreast of the status of your veichle...you have to call him constantly...The most horrible customer expierience ever....so he is buying these cars for dirt cheap and trippling the prices....I would not recomend PALMER AUTO TO ANYONE!! IF U GO GET A CARFAX Lesson Learned!

Great place to get a car from. Very friendly staff.
Zack and his family have been outstanding! I would recommend anyone looking for a good car to see them.
The owner seemed to be really nice and helped us out to get a loan for the car we wanted. We explained we needed a reliable vehicle that was snow worthy and that we didnt have a lot of money because my husbands disabled with a brain tumor and has a broken neck and I had to stay home to take care of him. He worked out the numbers so we could get the loan for it along with a trade for our old vehicle, which was great. However, after the first day it was bucking or revving the engine when I started it and started to drive. I brought it back, took the man there for a ride but it didnt do it and because it didnt do it when he was in the car he said Oh its fine. Just a new car your not used to. I called again about it when it didnt stop and he said it could be the fuel filter. Everytime it did it by the time I was near the shop it wasnt doing it still so they kept brushing me off. When I called Zack was never there and at other auctions. So just 2 payments in my muffler started being really loud. Took it to a shop near me and all the parts to the muffler system from front to back were severely rusted and or had broken off and I had to have the parts replaced. $500 bucks. The very next day after I got it back, the transmission died. $3500 bucks... Which I had most of the money to fix and someone was going to help me out with the remaining $600 that I didnt have but then backed out on me on paying it. I already sent it to be fixed thinking I would have the money for it. Now it sits at the transmission place and Ive made 2 more payments on my truck that I cannot use because I cant afford to pay the transmission guy. When I called about it to say the transmission died and said how I did tell them about the bucking and that their guy said well if it isnt doing it now there is nothing I can tell you. Zack told me its not my fault you continue to drive it for 2 months after that. Uhm well yes it was because your guy told me there was nothing wrong. Thanks for the reliable snow worthy vehicle Zack. Just another person to put in the shady characters of upstate NY box. Dont buy at Palmers! I am so glad that my friend didnt go there when I suggested it before the problems revealed themselves!
