Pure laziness. My fiancé brought her car there 3 times for a serpentine belt since April. All 3 snapped so I finally just decided to do it myself. Couldn t take the time (maybe 3 minutes) to simply clean out the groves of the pulleys so the belt would sit in there correctly. Was pulling chunks of old belt out of the groves. Just slapped a new belt on and called it a day. Pure laziness.

I can not say enough good things about this place and its staff. 5 stars is not enough.

Ryan s Garage is wonderful to deal with! Everyone is polite, efficient and effective at their jobs. They got me in and completed the repairs quickly, and are always honest and fair. I would absolutely recommend Ryan s Garage!

Charged me below market price for a motor replacement and I feel I got more than what I paid for. I wont discuss pricing as it varies based on situation but it was well under what other shops quoted me for with a warranty no one could even come close to. Unfortunately the car had to come back a couple times but one being an exhaust gasket they may or may not have had anything to do with. But still, Ryan replaced the gasket and didnt charge me a dime and both times I had to come back (inspection and then for the gasket) my car was back go me faster than Mavis doing an alignment for my previous vehicle. Side note, their new shop is beautiful and you can see all their hard work laid into the place.

The professionalism of this place is outstanding. They had very positive reviews on our next door website and from their customer service to the owner the service was outstanding.

My vehicles transmission failed as I drove it into Ryans Garage. Im from Central NY. Ryan gave me my options (whether his got the business or not)... he was great!!!

I have been using Ryans garage since 2014 or 15 i believe, and want no one else touching my van if at all possible. He And his crew are over the top honest, friendly, helpful, etc etc etc. First time i went there was for an inspection. It passed but he said my swing arm bushings need to be replaced but to wait till spring as winter is hard on them and that i would be fine waiting, and it wouldnt get me stranded. Its why i heard clunking when i was driving. Went back in the spring, had the work done, and the cost was about 1/2 what he had quoted. And his original quote actually sounded reasonable to me. He explained that since my van was so old (2005 chrysler town and country), he assumed both parts involved would need replacing. But when he saw my low milage (way under 150,000 miles), and really looked at it, he only had to replace one part, so hence the lower cost. I could not believe it. He could have charged his original quote and i would have never have known i got gipped. I drove away from there with a warm heart, knowing how honest he is, and knowing id found the right garage for me. Going to need to drop off the van monday at their new location to get some work done actually. Its been quite a while, so i guess my old van is missing them.

These guys are great (and Karina). Seriously, they are knowledgeable and honest. We bring our trucks there all the time. I thought I needed new brakes on a truck and it was only the pads - $160. Hawk Drilling loves Ryans Garage.

Absolutely have never known a mechanic spend so much TIME figuring out my perplexing car issues! I have had such negative experiences with other car repair shops but I trust Ryan s implicitly. As a retired woman on a fixed income, I have also found them to be VERY reasonable in pricing. I recommend highly!

Highly recommend Ryan and his team for all auto mechanic needs Great knowledgeable team! From routine brake jobs to the most recent engine swap in my truck and transmission swap in my sons truck I never worried about it being done correctly or being overcharged They are fairly priced and have always stood by any warranties ( Gotta love going to pick your car up expecting to spend a couple hundred $$ to be told no charge!)

Great experience. I had my truck towed there not having ever been and they were able to take care of everything in a very timely manner. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the final bill was very reasonable. Another garage had suggested some work be done but when I asked Ryan about it he said it wasn t necessary saving me at least $2k. Very much appreciated. I ll be going back for sure.

Best vehicle repairs in nys

My wifes car suddenly developed overheating issues after a Jiffy Lube oil change. With Jiffy Lube (Hoffmans) claiming they checked all fluids, I was sure we had a thermostat hanging up. Ryan left his current job and came out in the cold to evaluate my situation and found the cooling system severely low in coolant. He filled my system and sent me on my way with the cost of just the antifreeze ($11.00). Very fair man. I probably couldnt have rectified the situation for any less even if I knew what the issue was. Ryan will get all my business in the future and I will send any customers of mine (RV Park and Campground) to him with high recommendations. Thank you Ryan!

Lists $35.00 per hour of labor, you think GREAT DEAL! only to find out every single thing magically takes 3x as long (6 HOURS to change out headlights??!!!??!) Priced the parts myself and found that they are making about 50-80% mark up on that as well. Also, did not bring it in for an inspection, and yet they pealed the inspection sticker and charged me to fail it, *(which we knew it would fail, and I said dont do it at drop off). All in all, I would have to say absolutely horrible back water sketchy garage. Offered to make it passable for the low low price of $1000.00 dollars, Get the F outa here. I suspect many of the 5 star reviews are good ole boys. Best of luck if you end up here.

I forgot to get my inspection. I called the shop and they got me right in! It took no time at all and everyone was friendly and proffessional. I definitely recommend Ryans Garage.
