The worst place for an inspection check; they asked me to come on Sunday morning, and when I arrived, they told me to come back next Monday. Irresponsible employees.

Mike and team worked on my 68k mi car I purchased from Carvana. They worked with Silverrock to cover several $$$ worth of warranty claims and got everything fixed and ready within less than a week. Mike charged me for a brand new starter and I found out they put in a rebuilt starter. It broke down after only 2 months and I had to pay to get a new one put in. I went to another mechanic that I trust since these people are shady and unethical! so hopefully they don t keep doing this to people!! DON T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! Stay away!!!!!

George, Mike, Oscar, Junior are awesome mechanics and awesome, great people. I bring both of my cars to their establishment for service. They are very thorough and always explain repairs and prices to me, and perform a test drive with me before I leave with my vehicles. Mike even showed and explained to my husband and myself, all he was looking for during an inspection, while our Toyota was up on the lift. 5 STARS! Mike is a down to earth individual and i am very appreciative that he understands i have knowledge with vehicles and allows me to vome into the shop to check conditions of parts under my car. Their alignments are hands down the best I have ever received in long island. My moms dodge grand caravans alignment was horrific and it has been straight as an arrow for close to a year now. I have had no issues with any of the work until recently. I had gotten my steering shafts replaced and one of the plastic bushings my car has had 2 clips broken and wasnt in place. I own a mercury grand marquis and it is a tsb that green plastic bushing can get brittle and break over time and ford has made a metal bracket to prevent the bushing from falling out. I cant fault him for that due to it being a ford issue. However I can say that the shafts were replaced due to clicking noise in while steering. It turns out to be my tie rods. Im a little frustrated because I had paid for an alignment and its going to need to be done again. Im sure Mikeand i will work something out as he is honest and accepts mistakes and does the customer right. Ive seen it many times in his office waiting for service.

Mike is a godsend. Its so hard to find trustworthy reliable auto mechanics. He will make sure your car is in tip top shape and will keep you posted on developments that come up throughout the repair. Everyone in the neighborhood knows and uses this auto shop. If your looking for a trustworthy mechanic who will not hammer your pockets purposely this is the shop to go to.

Ive been going to Olympus for years. They are not only fantastic mechanics, but they are friendly and welcoming. They are patient and answer any and all questions you have without making you feel uncomfortable. Their work is top notch. I highly recommend this shop!

Excellent service!!

One day earlier this week I received a low tire pressure alarm while driving to work in Mineola. Upon inspection, I determined that the alarm was correct, and I had a flat. I brought my car into Olympos without an appointment. They were able to diagnose my problem (fixable road hazard) and repair my tire while I waited. They were competent, quick, and friendly. I was able to drive home on the LIE at the end of the day safely and confidently, and did not need to purchase a new tire. Thanks Mikey and team for a great job!

I have been working with Mikey for about a month now, after having brought him a 22 yr old Jeep Wrangler needing major work. He and his crew have spent a tremendous amount of time shopping around for the best prices on replacement parts, effort replacing them and troubleshooting other problems, and energy getting the vehicle to a state of road worthiness. It drives so much better than it did a month ago! I have spent enough time with Mikey over the ensuing weeks to believe without question that he knows what the hell he s talking about. He s open and honest, not afraid to tell hard truths, or set expectations about what s realistic with a car this old and what s not. And he s delivered! Also, he s responsive to all of my calls and questions, has picked me up or driven me home as needed, is never condescending, and is never pushy. Mikey s established a solid, trusting customer relationship with me, and I will continue to take my Jeep to him as long as I own it.

I ve been a Mineola resident for 16 years now. After asking numerous residents and neighbors, they all had the same recommendation, Olympos Auto. After years of subpar service/repairs by my last repair shop, I used Olympos for a major repair back in early spring of 2019. I met George who gave my vehicle a thorough inspection. Imagine my disappointment when he pointed out other repairs needed that were supposed to have been completed by my last mechanic THAT I PAID FOR! My vehicle has never run better since switching to Olympos! George, Mikey AND AL, (we must not forget Al), along with the entire team at Olympos are courteous professionals. Their experience and integrity are 2nd to none for this customer. It is a relief to know that I can now bring any of my vehicles for service or repair without worry or concern that I am being taken advantage of and you cannot put a price on that piece of mind. Michael always takes good care of my cars. I have 175k miles on my Honda Pilot and it was time to replace the AC system. A leak test showed that my compressor and condenser was leaking. He ordered me a AC kit and replaced the condenser, compressor, expansion valve, AC relay, and seals. The kit has a lifetime warranty. The only problem is that I need to wear a jacket now...LOL. They always save the parts that they pull out of my car to show me the wear. I recommend Olympus to everyone.

OUTSTANDING.. honest repairs, upfront prices and technically competent. George and Mike took excellent care of my 2013 Malibu even informing me of service bulletins from the manufacturer..who does that these days? Olympos has earned my loyalty and more importantly my trust.

MIKE OLYMPOS SHOULD BE ASHAMED. I went in for an oil change and these greasy scumbags did thousands of dollars of unauthorized work and then illegally reported me to collections when I contested - all without ANY signature! How is this legal? its not. So now we are taking this to court. I never OWNED the car in question, they have NO SIGNATURE from anyone. They forced me into a position of having to call my family members as well as the owner of the car - begging for money for work that was already done that nobody wanted! It was an awful experience that has only gotten worse as now Im forced to deal w this in court - their lies and fraud have affected my credit. years ago, owner Mike Olympos employed me at his lackluster burger guru business in Williamsburg and needed a good reliable car on the road and tried to pass the buck on to me when I brought my car in for an oil change. He said these things needed done sooner than later and i need a reliable car out there and insisted it was nothing to worry about, i could work it off at the burger job. I told him its not my car. let that sink in. And even if it was, I dont have that money and you cant do work on someone elses car without consent. He pulled me aside into the hallway and INSISTED its a great deal and not to worry - I can work it off making $2 an hour at his burger place. Scared to argue w him, as he does employ me and has a strong criminal vibe (his original business mysteriously burned down and who carries $10,000 cash around every day???), I walked away having been completely hustled. I get home and look over everything and am shocked= he billed at $90 an hour for labor on the car, $80 BASIC oil change, $60 to wipe the grease off the motor, $50 to crack lugnuts = what a hook up you grease monkey!). When I came in the next day to talk to him about this he got combatitive and fired me. Ill spare the rest of the details for court but I will be suing him for fraud and libel as what they have done is unethical, shameful and most importantly illegal. The only reason Ive waited this long to share my story as I finally feel far away enough from that lowlife as to be removed from any possible chance of revenge from him and his cronies.

Great Service!! I read all the negative comments posted from years ago and find it hard to believe. I just took my SUV there and had alot of work done due to my neglect of taking care of my care over the years which I was very aware of. Mikey and his staff are Very Professional. I had alot of work done on my car that I agreed to and Mikey kept me posted throughout the time of service with what needed to be done and cost estimates. They did a Great job on my 2003 GMC Yukon Denali and it drives like a charm! Thanks again for restoring my truck to my pride and joy as it was the first day I purchased my truck. Great Job Guys!! Will be bringing my other cars to you for service going forward!
