Not only were the people who work there so nice (thank you Brian and Dan!) and helpful but they also got out car back on the road in no time. We can t say enough good things about place. I drove from PA to bring my car to freeman s to have them check a noise coming from the rear. They replaced my calipers , pads and rotors. The pads and rotors were covered under warranty. I ve been coming here for years and I just moved from Monroe and they always do a great job.

I had a horrible sound coming from underneath my car, coming back from PA. I wasnt sure I would make it home. Turns out it was the skid tray dragging. I called Freemans the very next Monday morning. I asked if they could look at it while I waited. They said to come right in. I waited. It was fixed in a half hour. Freemans is a very trustworthy business nd they r very accommodating. I am very involved with the chinch, and for one of our parishioners, the quote for work needed was absurd! I have been in the business for 37 years, and I have learned a thing or two. FREEMAN TIRE TO THE RESCUE- We had a scary tire blowout on 6 East and were left on a narrow shoulder on a highway filled with speeding cars. Freeman sent a huge tow truck that safely & efficiently brought us to their shop where the needed repair was done & we got back on the road & grateful for their caring response. THANKS FREEMAN TIRE! My car was broken down in the area so these guys were one of my few options and I had them tow it to their shop. At first I was pretty happy with them as they only charged me 100 dollars to tow it to their property, which I thought was pretty reasonable. When the car got there, I pretty much already knew I needed a starter and they easily confirmed that. They wanted to charge me 600 dollars to put a new starter in I guess they thought because my car was broken down they could take me for a ride (no pun intended). Instead, I said no way and had the car towed to my girlfriends house, bought a starter for 70 dollars, and did the job myself. They still charged me 100 dollars to assess the car when, I, a person with very little knowledge of cars, knew what the problem was without even looking under the hood. I did the job myself, and I can safely assure you it was not 430 dollars worth of labor. Knaves, the lot of them. Shame on them.

They were ok. I had a problem with a strong fuel smell and Brookside auto was not equipped for it. Freemans auto determined that it was the fuel tank. I have a 99 Tahoe and they couldnt find a fuel tank. I got one in the junk yard that my wife found after making 20 calls. Fast professional service!!!

Ive gone here for years, since their 1st spot on 17M., down by that Greek restaurant. I followed them ever since. They have a good moral business code. Family business. Each time I went there in a panic they assured me no problem. Theyve always taken time to replace a light, on the spot or check fluids. Now they have another place to do lighter work. Ive had axle replaced on6/23/2024, steering wheel , brakes ignition coil, numerous things on other cars Ive had, even electrical on a truck 15 yrs ago, chewed by mice they said no doubt. They leave the car clean. From the minute you drop of your keys your treated with respect and honesty. They cant and will not speculate a problem over the phone until you bring it in, only for your safety. Ive had the whole crew work on my cars. My fav is Sven. Unexpected van breakdown for new customer got excellent service. Van was towed in the same morning. Sven took our report of faulty steering seriously and after a thorough inspection of our 2004 Chevy gave us the results and time frame for repair. We had our van back in 3 days with the power steering pump and front bushings replaced. I give my unqualified recommendation to Freeman s Auto.

Shame on me . 3 times I ve had issues with them and I went back thinking I was a loyal customer. I pay for a service and I expect it to be done correctly the first time. Today was the last straw. 3 times in a span of 2 years with the same vehicle. First time I had my brakes done and had to go back because they kept on making screeching noise after installation. I was told they had to switch out the hardware on the brakes . Second time was after servicing my tires there, I went home to torque my wheels to the correct pressure and couldn t get off one of my lug nuts because they had cross threaded it. I called them and they said sure bring it in and we will fix it. Sure enough after I get home again after them fixing it , I went to go torque the wheels again and it turns out. Instead of fixing the issue they just cross threaded the lug nuts destroying the wheel studs. I had to call back a third time almost losing my mind over the fact that I had to keep going back. Third and final time was today . Yesterday I went to go get my coolant flushed. Service went great. Today I went to the dealership for a different service and was told that the wrong coolant was installed. I called up freeman s and they said yes you are correct the coolant is supposed to be blue. We would have order it and have it done for you another day free of charge . I called them back asking for either a refund or credit because it would just be too big of an inconvenience to have to go back on a different day and get it done . I would have gladly taken a Credit and used it towards a future purpose. After explaining to them, I was dissatisfied and I didn t think that was right , they didn t care.

We had a present experience! Idk it there are multiple tow trucks and drivers, but we were lucky to meet with a super nice guy! We had car trouble and happened to call A&B garage. They gave us this companys number. We were told that the truck would come within 2h. But it was much less. When we thanked the driver he said that he didnt like to keep people waiting. recently move to the area and need it an inspection for the car, I went there to have it done and the ruined my dashboard by making it a cut with the sharp object they use to remove the old one. I went back and the manager defended the staff by telling me that the employee who did the inspection did not informed him about anything wrong happening during the process. it was his way to get away and not take responsibility for the damage. He pretended he was going to fix it and made me wasted my time twice more than three hours waiting for nothing. just making it hard for me. I will never go there. Not honest or liable service. they didnt take responsibility or fix it. Dont go there.

I went to get an engine oil change after making a reservation. Even though I had arrived, my car was left outside for 45 minutes without receiving any service. I inquired with a staff member about the delay, and only then did they acknowledge an issue and promise to expedite the service by assigning two people to assist. I waited for an additional hour. Even the customer who arrived after me finished earlier and left, so does an oil change really take nearly two hours? If thats the case, why make a reservation? Ive been a regular customer at this place for several years, and Im disappointed. Nonetheless, I got into my car without further complaints. However, not only was there no next oil change sticker, but they also failed to properly remove the old one, leaving it in a messy condition. How about a bit more professionalism?

Freemans Auto&Tire is the only car place Ive never felt like a sitting duck (as a woman of a certain age). The team here is professional, personable and work fast and well. They are great guys (same goes for the women in the front) and all the people Ive sent feel as I do, theres no other place for me and my Jeep.

I have no choice to give 1 stars because it would be 0. This is a shop that has the audacity to think using a TAR PLUG IS SAFE REAM & Go. Don t bother to inspect the inside of the tire. Being a Manager of a shop it s sad to know that they couldn t care less if the tire is inspected properly. NYS inspection report says that it s not passing inspection with a tar plug.

Good people, good sevice

This is a quick note to thank Freemans auto for their service today. I did not get the womans name at the counter. She was very professional and kind and happy to be there. I was in to have my snow tires put on my car. I keep them in bags and the technicians who worked on my car cared enough to put the tires coming off my car back in those bags neatly. They didnt have to do that and I really appreciate them taking that extra step. The price for balancing and putting them on the car was $16 a tire and I thought that was very fair. After the car was out of the bay another technician came out with a torque wrench and did an extra check that all 5 lugnuts on each tire were at the appropriate pressure. In a world where just getting things done quickly seems to be the norm Freemans put care into the service and I appreciate it! Also, I had an appointment slot and they were perfectly on time starting the work which allowed me to wait for my car and be in and out under an hour!

I was one of Freeman s Auto first customers when they first opened. Even though the parking lot is limited at one of their locations, their service is top notch and their prices are very reasonable.

Freemans is awesome. We have been coming to them for years. They are honest, first and foremost, and have always been trustworthy. They never try to nickel and dime you, and only make recommendations for what truly needs to be done. They are GREAT!!

They will tell you that they fixed your car, but you have to keep going back to fix it some more! They took thousands from me before I wised up and went elsewhere, got my car fixed by honest people for a couple of hundred bucks. Beware!!!!

Two bad experiences here. The first was to fix check engine light. Charged me $500. to fix intake manifold. Light went off but came back on three weeks later. Was told I needed another $1,100. to replace the entire manifold! The second bad experience was replacing the alternator. Charged $800 with tow. I later discovered they disconnected my air conditioner! It was not clamped correctly. Of course, every time you go you have to leave the car, making it very difficult to get rides back and forth.
