They cancelled my appointment 5 minutes before it was to happen as they did not have the part. There is no getting them on the phone. Some of the other reviews echo this. Very poor performance from Safelite in Monticello, NY.

Fast professional and worked with my insurance company

Absolutely awful facility. My insurance company set me up for repair here. I will be receiving my 3rd rear window repair on my car now because the first two replacements exploded while driving. The first time, this happened about 5 days post-repair when using heat on rear windshield. The windshield suddenly smashed in and flew into the driver s side seat. Luckily neither my dog nor I were injured (other than a few scratches from the glass on my right arm) and I could pull over. They stated they put the wrong type of glass on and needed to special order my glass (OEM) which would take a few weeks to come in. I waited due to lack of other options. Got it replaced a second time on April 6th with the special ordered glass. This morning (April 15th) I was driving again and the same thing happened, used heat on the rear windshield and it exploded flying into the driver seat enough to hit my arm. I burst into tears out of anger and frustration. I have been nothing but kind and understanding. I get that things happen, but I have been without a windshield in total for a month and a half as this happened originally in early March after a tree hit my car. I am a registered nurse from Albany here to work in an open heart surgery unit, and had no idea that this place was not safe to go. Please, do not make the same mistake I did. Go somewhere else. My insurance is now approving me to go anywhere of my choosing completely under warranty due to Safelite s poor quality. Stay safe.

Had an excellent experience today. The facility was clean, the technician Chris explained everything and was done quickly. Added bonus my carpets were vacuumed. I m very happy I choose Safelite!!!

Chris at Safelite in Monticello was simply outstanding! He maintained constant communication, even during a slight delivery delay. He worked incredibly fast to install the new windshield, and to top it off, my car was vacuumed before returning. I wholeheartedly recommend the Safelite in Monticello

Worst auto glass company, use anyone else. Left rear view mirror loose for a year, no customer service, cant talk to a real person and automatic system hangs up on you. AND THEY DO NOT HONOR WARRANTY WORK. They will claim it was a stone no matter what.

Terrible customer service, technician is more than two hours late, office staff entirely unavailable, links to technician do not work... bad company lucky to be the only game in town

Came in to replace the windshield for my Tesla, installed the glass and it was damaged, the guys went out of their way to expedite the new glass, job well done, you guys are great. Keep it up and thank you for your great customer service.

The manager at the Monticello Safelite put the wrong windshield in my car because of the heads up display. When I told him the heads up display wasnt working correctly, he insisted that there was no other windshield for my car. Carl (the manager) made me feel stupid and said the issue had nothing to do with the windshield. I called my insurance to complain and they put me in contact with warranty who got me an appointment with Middletown. They were amazing, they ordered the correct windshield which fixed the problem. DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO MONTICELLO. They are rude and they also never plugged in the sensor for the automatic windshield wipers so that didnt work either. Monticello should be shut down and manager should be either retrained or fired.

Quick and easy service

A trailer truck launched a rock at our windshield. We called Safelite. They came to our house, fixed the crack and our insurance paid for it.. The service man was wonderful. Polite and understanding. Safelite is the best. Thank you Safelite.

Garbage

Saflite is the best automobile windshield replacement company. Over the years have had 3 windshields replaced by Saflite their employees are always pleasant and helpful. Their scheduling is always on point.

Horrible service, i would honestly recommend another business, seems like they hire any joblow on the streets to do windsheld reapirs. I had my town and country windshield replaced recently and the whiper blades came right off due to incorrect installation, we also had to retighten the bolts that connected the whiper arm to the motor twice. In short summary, if you have no idea how to install any type of windsheld then i would suggest applying to this company. PLEASE AVOID THIS BUSINESS IF POSSIBLE!!! Location: Middletown NY

They did a great job repairing my window The only strange part was I tried to call and no one answered it went straight to customer service and they didnt answer either. And when I went to pick up my car it was there The door was unlocked and the keys were on the format and nobody was working and it was 2 pm in the afternoon. Did they supposed to be open 9:00 to 5:00 Im confused. And when you call them its an 845 number so whats up?

Called to have a back window in my truck installed. They showed up and had the wrong window, which wasnt the end of the world, however, the technician had some kind of temper tantrum and as he was putting all the panels back on, he punched, scratched and dented the hell out of my door, and ripped the weather stripping and broke the rain guards. Called and spoke with the supervisor who said to send him pictures and he would replace the door panels. I had to harass him for 3 weeks until it he finally set a time to come and replace the panel. He ordered the panel without the silver piece that goes by the door handle, which was considerably scratched. It has been 6 months now, and he refuses to make it right or return my calls. As for the glass, I had to have another company install the window. This whole experience was trouble from the start, and the employees are absolutely obnoxious. I didnt even complain that they showed up with the wrong glass, and still I received this kind of service. Never even got so much as an apology, and my door is still scratched, Beware of having them service your vehicle

Theres better and substantially cheaper options that do just as good, if not better then Safelite. They arent the only place that does autoglass!

Excellent Experience. The technician was prompt and professional and did a great job. A newbie at the corporate office had misquoted the job on the phone (forgot the labor cost! lol) but the manager of the local office who did the work (Monticelo NY) adjusted the bill so that it ended up being even better than the original quote plus got free wipers - very stand-up guy and service.

It was easy to schedule an appointment on the phone when and where I wanted. It was even easier to change the appointment online. Technician called before she came and was right on time. She finished the job quickly and neatly. She was able to transfer the stickers and she even vacuumed the car and cleaned the glass.
