Ill never go anywhere else. Fair prices and excellent customer service. If something isnt up to par they’ll make it right with you. Chuck is also very knowledgeable and will explain exactly what is wrong and how to fix it.
After my RAV4 had been seen a number of times by the shop where I bought it last year. Their "techs" couldn't figure out a very noticeable vibration and I looked for a recommended mechanic. Local area Facebook groups pointed to Chuck Scott Auto for a good, fair-priced analysis and resolution. That's exactly what I got. Diagnosis and estimate by mid-morning; part came in the next day, and finished by 4:00. Fair price and no grease on floor. They did right by me.
Very honest business! I dropped my vehicle off thinking it needed new brakes and the nice people here road tested and checked the pads and said they are fine.
I called 11 different places from Averill Park to Pittsfield and nobody could get me in for atleast a week to include Chuck Scott. Once I explained that it was my only vehicle the extremely nice lady on the phone, think her name was Sherry, found out they had a cancelation and told me to come now. I was only there for about 3 hours and the truck was fixed and ready! AND came in under the price I was expecting. I am so grateful to you guys! This is now my new mechanic! Couldn't find a shop that could do an alignment on my truck until a friend told me to contact Chuck. I am sure glad that I did! Called at 10am, dropped my truck off at 11am, and it was ready to pick up at 4pm. He fit me in his busy schedule and I am beyond appreciative of that. He also took the time to explain the alignment process to me and provided some tips so I don't wear out a set of $1500 tires prematurely. Though it was a small job for Chuck, it helped me out huge. I will be a Chuck Scott Auto Repair customer going forward.
They are polite, fast, and priced right! As a woman, I can come here and not feel like I'm going to be taken advantage of. Nice waiting room, free wifi, complimentary drinks.

Went in this morning for a minor exhaust repair on my 2007 jeep grand cherokee and was treated professionally from the moment i arrived at 8am until the time i rolled out at 815am....and the cost was very reasonable...will definitely be coming back for more work soon....and mind you that i only live a mile from the shop!!! Very satisfied!!!!

I had an excellent experience with Scotts garage. I was told by my subaru dealers mechanic that I needed a repair done and after Chuck checked it, he said i didnt need it. He could have made the repair and got paid but i appreciated his honesty. I was referred to Scotts garage from my niece and I would highly recommend them.

My car started malfunctioning last Dec,took it to Nissan where I was told their were so many things wrong with my car which cost over 2.5k to fix.Someone recommended you guys so I Towed my car here and chuck was able to get my car up and running for under $400.They were very honest.Nissan told me I needed alternator and so many other things I did not need.Im glad I took my car to you guys.You have gained a new customer I will never take my car anywhere else

Chuck Scott and his wife Sherry, Anna Marie and all the guys in the garage are wonderful. They treat you like you are extended family... I trust him explicitly...he has never steered me wrong. Fixes ONLY what broken. Twllayou qhat you might plan on fixing over the next few weeks-months. Shows you the broken part so you can understand better what he did. I love this group so much that now that I live over an hour away. I will continue to bring my cars to him..
Have been using their services for over 4 years. Always fix the problem to keep the clunkers running which isn t always easy on some high mileage cars like the ole bmw and Honda. Do a great job on the newer cars as well.

I just picked up a car dolly about 5 miles before this shop when one of the tires blew and shredded they were friendly and quick to help instead of getting one tire I decided on changing both just in case and the prices are low its a shame theyre so far.away from me

On a Saturday Chuck walked me through the shop, explained the details of the alignment procedure. I could easily see he has worked hard through the years, is an expert in his field, and is equipped with the latest in tools and technology. He was prompt in getting me an appointment the next business day and the my vehicle was aligned with minimal inconvenience and wait time. He offered to explain the alignment report but there was no need since he took so much time out of his Saturday to give me a thorough explanation and tour of the facility. I highly recommend Chuck Scott auto repair, his dedication to professionalism, customer service, and love of what he does to make sure your vehicle is well taken care of is clear and is gis priority. I have been to two other mechanics with same issue, neither could figure it out. My car got towed to them on a Tuesday morning, by that afternoon it was fixed. As a women, sometimes finding a mechanic is very hard even when you state you work on most things yourself. The receptionist was kind and helpful and the mechanic was knowledgeable and listened to my needs! I will most likely never go to anyone else again! Truly professional! Job well done guys!

Wow, first time at Chuck Scott Auto and it wont be the last. Had my check engine light come on. Called and made an appointment for Wednesday, dropped the car off on Tuesday night after work around 4:40 (they close at 5 PM). My phone rings about 15 minutes later and it is Chuck letting me know they ran the diagnostic on the car, let me know what the issue was, and the cost of the repair, the quick turnaround time was obviously appreciated. The following morning the car was ready to go at about 9 AM. Tough to find honest mechanics nowadays, so this experience was a breath of fresh air.
I would recommend this professional repair shop to anyone. They went above and beyond to do All the repairs my vehicle needed. Including a much needed car wash. Great service!
